Well, the customer obviously meets the server somehow. But how? In the store? On the streets? What?

Perhaps in the store? There could always be some cute embarrassing misunderstanding... Like, um... Oh, what if the customer buys a small cute cake and the waiter just kindda asks if it's for his girlfriend? Then the customer would be all like 'no no, i don't even have one' and blah blah and that could lead them into a small conversation?

That seems pretty cute!! We can do that. I like cute role-plays . We kind of need to do one of those since all of our role-plays are really... depressing.

Fully agreed... So then, from that point onwards, their relationship grows into something more than friends and maybe the customer, at some point, finally gathers up the courage to ask the server out?
