In Midorijima, an island to the southwest of the Japanese islands. People and nature once coexisted on this plentiful island. However, due to being purchased by the leading company of Japan “Toue Company”, one third of the island has been changed into the extravagant amusement facility “Platinum Jail”. Equipped with the latest cutting edge technology, Platinum Jail has gathered attention. On the other side, the islanders who became victims of forceful development are forced into the “Former Residents District”, and have no choice but to carry out their lives in in a place that is by no means prosperous. The protagonist Aoba spends his days working part-time at the junk shop “Heibon” inside the Former Residents District, living together with his grandmother Tae. Among the young people of the Former Residents District, a certain game has become popular. In “Liebstiez”, teams are created and days of human-bullet turf wars unfold. On the other hand, “Rhyme” is electronic brain online game using a virtual world as its setting that “Rhymers” are going crazy over. Aoba shows shows no interest in either one, thinking that it would be nice to just live peacefully with his grandmother. juugatsuni Posted March 23, 2014 Posted March 23, 2014 what the heck it's gonna be an anime? well DmMd finally made it, huh. is it gonna be an OVA or series? removed smex scenes or retaining it's explicit-y? hmm, i guess we're gonna find out this summer 2014, Japan season? i'm getting a feelings it's gonna be like Togainu no Chi with just Shounen-Ai but censored gore at some point. i haven't played this after all this time though so i'm basing it from few CGs i saw so, i apologize.

juugatsuni Posted March 23, 2014 Posted March 23, 2014 i don't know want to feel about it since i'm quite shocked at this news. it's either from excitement and bewilderment ; upon seeing Koujaku in anime PV moving though, i died. ♥ according to MAL, the Shounen-Ai and/or Yaoi genre are removed in the anime adaptation? hmm, since it's not out yet, i'd give it a benefit of the doubt.
nicicia Posted March 23, 2014 Posted March 23, 2014 I think it's going to be 12-13 episodes as an adaptation of the common route + Ren's route, with elements of the other routes mixed in. Since this will air on TV and appeal to a wider audience, I think there will only be hints of shounen ai. I'm actually okay with that though since we already have the game + Re:connect. Basically I'm thinking this will be like DRAMAtical Murder light. XD

I do understand, how a Nitro+CHirAL production can be changed into an anime without the BL bits. I really do. And I'm trying to be reasonable, to give it a chance. But deep down I know I'll be bitching about the lack of hawt man on man action.

But I think it will be like Togainu No Chi and have little explicit content, I think it'll dive into each route separately and cut all the smut out. Which doesn't bother me too much because I've waited long enough for this game to get its own anime.

I dont know but the anime is not very yaoi like or shounen-ai like at all, Well I've only seen the first two episodes and so far, its just like a regular Sci-fi action anime with hot guys lol Sort of like Sword Art online meets Bishounen Men lol I hope there's going to be at least shounen-ai elements if the game was indeed a yaoi otherwise all the fans of the genre will be bitterly disappointed ........

There will be no hints of yaoi within the series. Though it does cover some of the common route, but fans who expect yaoi from this anime will be very disappointed because when I checked the anime type of this, shounen ai/yaoi wasn't shown at all. But to those who have played the game, I think they're happy to just get an anime. Let alone have porn in it.

I think that it might just be a shounen-ai.It is actually pretty good so far.The first 2 episodes are just like the beginning of the game,with some changes.We'll just have to wait an see how the anime progresses in order to determine is going to be an yaoi or shounen-ai.Though,either is fine with me:)
