Do you like when doujinshis are related to the manga/anime plot?

Hey guys do you prefer doujinshis related to the anime or manga story or when they are like completely different.

I personally like when they are different because they tend to be more funny and sexy.

I like it when it relates to the plot of the anime or manga, unless it contains hardcore sex scenes. As I tend only to read doujinshis if I know they are going to be pornographic. Am always a little disappointed if I read one and it is just cuddling between to characters who are normally at each other's throat or it is way out of context. I feel like, I've wasted my time lol.
