Can you recommend me some good yaoi animes wherein the uke is NOT girly? I don't like cute, fragile, tiny, doe-eyed, shy type ukes that are smaller than their semes. I prefer them to be of the same height and quite manly. And a little bit mean, cold, detached, etc (what can I say, I like tsundere bishies). Also I'd appreciate it if their animation is good. I like seme-ish ukes tbh so it really doesn't bother me who's who. I think the thin line of distinction between a seme and uke is what males it more interesting. Koisuru Boukun and Tight Rope are my two most favorite. I've also seen Kirepapa (Riju grrrrr), Hey! Class President, Sekai Ichi Hatsukoi, Winter Cicada (it's really depressing though) - I'm a bit picky, I know *sigh* I haven't gotten around reading mangas though. I'm actually too lazy to read them orz so I just watch OVAs. Also I don't mind if they're R-18 or whatever (I've read smuts so my sensibilities won't be offended hahahahaha)

It's just no different from watching a Loli anime. XD Have you watched Ikkoku Irokoi Romantan already? The Uke is a son of a Yakuza group. Viewfinder has an OVA too. If you like to watch a very hilarious Yaoi OVA, then try Kachou no Koi. Fuyu no Semi/Winter Cicada is depressing, i agree. But its creator made another OVA named Haru wo Dateita, and i swear, the uke is just as manly as the uke (they look like the main characters of Fuyu no Semi though). The story is quite nice and it's not tragic like Fuyu no Semi.

ohthelulz Posted November 4, 2013 Posted November 4, 2013 not sure about the "good" part because tbh i have not yet seen a BL anime which i'd recommend unqualified, but the bottom of "legend of the blue wolves" isn't girly. neither are the bottoms from "ai no kusabi" and "mirage of blaze" sorry, those are all i have at the moment, i read much more than i watch.
