There are certain series I hold especially dear — whether because of the effort and cost I’ve invested in collecting them, or out of genuine admiration for the creator behind them. For those works, I choose to limit how widely they’re circulated, both out of respect for the author and in hopes that they might receive more direct support. The creator is truly kind-hearted and deserves that appreciation.

I have many manga series I’d love to share, but I often feel disheartened by how some people treat the content. I could watermark the images heavily, in ways that are difficult to erase — but doing so would leave me feeling deeply conflicted, as it would feel unfair to the author whose work I admire so much.

Actually, bato is a site that specializes in uploading pirated comics. The image size can be enlarged by specialized software. As for the quality of the comics, as far as I know, bato will compress and make the image worse. It is easily recognizable in colored comics.

“六月の七星” can be read in two ways: Okugatsu no Shichisei and Rokugatsu no Nanahoshi. However, the first reading misrepresents the intended direction of the story, whereas the second ~Rokugatsu no Nanahoshi ~ is clearly written on the cover and reflects the author's true intent.

"Rokugatsu" (六月) means June, and "Nanahoshi" (七星) refers to the commonly used abbreviation for the insect Nanahoshi Tentoumushi (七星天道虫), the seven-spotted ladybug. Here, "seven stars" (七星) symbolize the seven spots on the ladybug’s back.

The meaning behind the title:

+ June represents summer in Japan, evoking a sense of romance and emotional warmth.

+ The ladybug, which appears on every tankōbon (volume) cover, is a recurring and significant motif from the author. It symbolizes good luck and the sweet love shared between the two main characters—the seme and the uke.
