The subtitles are subbed onto the screen.it also shouldn’t be a black screen. There is art on it. Make sure your device is .avi compatible.

i'm sorry idk. it works fine for me and i guess the other people interacting with this post. might be you media player on your laptop, I use vlc and I promise it 100% works fine for me.
