It hasn't given me any option to enter a password as of now. 
When I click on the link, I import the file and tap on it and it loads up, but it hasn't asked me to enter a password, which is why I was confused.

It's the app you're using that fails. You need to download another app that can open .rar-files with passwords. The same happened to me once. Now I have two apps downloaded - if one fails, the second app usually works.

I have a Mac, so i think it'll be okay. I've mostly been using Mega on my phone but I'll try it out, I'm also curious if there are any other apps. Thank you!

I don't use my phone. I use a mac and use The Unarchiver whenever there's a password lock.
