Marin didn't say anything, just continued to work, cutting a cow, blood splattering all over his face and bare chest. He almost looked angry, taking out his vendetta on the dead cow's carcass.

He was being awesome earlier. I think he might hate you," Ladislau chuckled. Marin didn't say anything, just grabbed a new carcass, cutting out the meat.

She had to admit, even though Delilah was a slave owner, she did have a bit of respect for her. Giovanni, on the other hand, could rot in hell for all she cared. "Do you need anything else?"
