The Sacrifice (Kotori X Wolf)

"Good." Yukio smiled. "You won't be staying with your brother anymore. But I will allow you to see him if you behave well." He rose to his feet. "I will show you to your new room."

"No?" He whimpered. Numa wanted to see his brother, wanted to make sure he was alright but still didn't fight it. He just seemed really sad. Numa forced himself back onto his feet and stumbled forwards, Once more using his tail to keep balance as he walked. He followed after the human and started acting a bit odd as they walked but it was only because he wasn't use to being this dry before.

Yukio led Numa to a much smaller room. This one also had a wall that was the same thick glass and security cameras in all the corners. There was a small tub of water, just barely big enough to fit Numa's entire body. "This is where you will be staying from now on." Yukio said. "Until you earn something better."

Numa walked in and looked around. The room was really sad looking but he was happy his brother would be able to live a little more comfortably. He nodded and moved closer to the small tub. With a small glance back, numa debated as he looked at the human before basically collapsing into the water, taking a minute before popping his head back out of the water. "When... start?" He asked.

"We'll be starting tomorrow morning." Yukio said. "So make sure you get some rest." He smirked slightly before leaving the room.

'Tomorrow,' Numa thought before curling back up under the water. It was fresh water, just the way he liked it, but there was no room to swim and no room to stretch himself out. This sucked but it was all he was going to get for now. The drake stayed curled up like that until nearly the next morning before stretching and sticking his feet and tail out of the water, hanging them over the edge of the tub with his upper body and butt still in the water, lying on his back.

The next morning Yukio showed up at Numa's room bright and early. He once again had his tablet tucked under his arm and a generally blank expression, but there was a hint of cruel excitement in his eyes. Today he would make sure he had some fun with this new creature.

Numa heard the human come in and took a deep breath before placing his hands over his gills and slowly tucking his feet and tail back in and sitting up. Taking a breath of air before moving his hands from his gills again. He blinked and watched the human, wondering what he was going to do next.

"Time for some experiments." Yukio said. "Follow me." He led Numa to a larger room which had a plain hospital style bed in the center. Around the walls were drawers, computers, and various medical equiptment. "Sit there." He ordered, pointing to the bed.

Numa understood every word, to an extent and moved cautiously but kept up with every step. As he was motioned to sit on the strange platform, numa walked over and climbed on, shocked by the give of the bed as he pressed on it. He draped his tail over the back and seemed focused on the bed, trying to figure out things about it.
