sniegas Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 Hm, first song that I've learnt was in my language I don't think I can translate its words to you.. But it was about toys - dolls, teddy bear and books dancing in a children room when no one is around.. First english song that we were singing at school I think was ,,Yellow submarine" by The Beatles.. Funny song; I don't like it much. We used to sing some folk songs in french too but I can't remember it well.. Later we were singing some by Joe Dassin: my favourite still is melancholique ,,Et si tu n'existais pas". 1

Vicious Posted April 2, 2013 Posted April 2, 2013 The first song that I ever sang..? Yeah, that would be impossible for me to remember, I think. But I do remember singing a lot when I was younger and I liked singing songs such as Row, Row, Row Your Boat. 1
koukoutsi Posted April 2, 2013 Posted April 2, 2013 The first song in my language I remember singing all the time is the greek version of dragonball soundtrack. In English, that would be Gangsta's Paradise by Coolio and Killing me softly by The Fugees at the age of 10. Yes yes I know... what kind of kid sings these sort of songs but that's what happens when you have older brothers, especially 7 years older... I'd listened to this gazillion times so want it or not I learned singing them. In French it was Frere Jacques when I was 5, again because of my brother (he was learning french at school lol) And finally the first spanish song I managed to sing without any lyrics is La Camisa Negra by Juanes when I was 17 something. 2
