Okay well here it is,

 

On a cold and rainy day a man was walking home from school/work and found a cute little kitten trying to hide from the rain, well he feels bad for the poor kitten and decided to pick it up and bring it home with him. However little does he know that the kitten was actually a neko. A sacred animal who can grant wishes. Well you see the man was very lonely to begin with and so the neko decides to stay with him for a while until one day the man wished for a companion and so the neko grant the wish.

 

I don't want to give to much away and if you don't like the plot then I could try and think of another one ^^'...
