I don't know about that. But since the writing was the same in Japanese so I guess there's no difference.

According to Japanese Language, the (しよ) is sometimes pronounced sho and other times shiyo. The writing is the same but spelling is different. That rule i'm not sure if it works in this game.

Again, if I was mistaken, I'm sorry.

It's good to learn bit by bit ^w^

It might be pronounced as a matter of daily speech, but in grammatical manner it's different. It is exactly 'Shiyo'. Ah, I don't correct to have this you-are-wrong. I just want people to learn, that's all. (:

Translation: candied apple (yum!)

Next word: me (め)

By the way, can one use "ringo" (りんご) when one wants to say apple? In my course annotations, I wrote this down, but when I tried to find teh kanji for apple, the translation always had more than りんご, so I'm wondering if my annotations are wrong. Could anyone help me??

P.S. Gatichan,

In Japanese you will rarely see the kanji for 'apple'. And in Japan actually; they use either the hiragana or katakana. But if you want to see the right kanji -> 林檎

Hope I helped.
