Frigus sighed and straightened his suit, it fit him just as well as it always had, it needed no straightening, no adjustment. He straightened and adjusted anyway. He was keeping his hands busy, while not disturbing his merchandise. He could not contain his fidgeting, he was never nervous but today he had good reason. Though perhaps he wouldn't call this nervousness, more accurately he was agitated, agitated beyond measure. Today he would have to welcome whatever clerks the main branch would send him. Young blood too sure of themselves with nothing to back it up. He would have to keep them there train them himself teach them to work in the human world, and in the worst case scenario keep them in his shop. He was the first to admit things had been busy for the shop, but for a shop that sold demonic goods busy meant perhaps three customers in a whole day. He could easily handle that, what could he teach these clerks with only a handful of customers? He breathed, almost huffed at the thought. He had gotten to this level to avoid things like this, he was no lackey. It was ridiculous; he hated people snooping in his business.

Many of the clocks in the shop went off, and he glanced at his watch. Noon, they were late, if they were coming at all. If he was lucky he would be off the hook for today as well, no one had shown up yesterday either. Maybe he could avoid the mess all together. He folded his arms, and watched the door. It was large and grand reflecting what it held inside. His shop looked much like any old antique shop. It was very large, more than one story it was even possible to get lost among the twists and turns. It was a refurbished manor he bought up on a deal. It had been condemned, almost destroyed for condos but he had bought it up and got a great location in the middle of old town. There were heaps of items a modge podge of Demonic trinkets, cursed and spell infused furniture, potions even. Very few potions, they had long gone out of style, but a few were floating around, back stock. All looked old, ancient even, all the best things were, but for the most part it was just aesthetic. Asuma insisted that their merchandise looked the part of the possessed, though Frigus didn't see the logic in that. If they wanted to expand their business to the human market, they would need to be far more current than the rustic things they sold now. Of course Firgus wasn't in marketing so he had no say in such things.

The chimes from the many clocks quieted, and he still stood staring at the door, arms crossed. He looked the door up and down, nothing, and no one. He looked at the door with uninterested eyes, he laxed his arms, he had other things he had to do, things that wouldn't test his patience like waiting for young blood demons. Late young blood demons. Perhaps he would dust something. Hum he though, cleaning, that's what they could be good for, there were many things that went neglected in that department.

Hands were shoving at him suddenly, beckoning him out the door as quick as they could. He had been summoned as soon he found out he was of demonic origin and he couldn't have been in this realm for more than a few minutes before being pulled away through enormous gates. He had found himself in a massive room with very few other people, if he were to call them anything. They all looked like normal beings, with the exception of horns and tails on a few and various other hideous features that no one else found odd in the least. He was in a small line, maybe 2 or 3 ahead of him. It was a short wait and as soon as he approached a counter papers were shoved at him and he was directed to another smaller table to sign them and turn them back in.

He hardly had time to read over them, it appeared to be a contract of some sort. More or less it stated he would be working with a company for the next 200 years and then hereby be granted eternal salvation at which his soul will finally be at rest and he will be free. 'Whatever that means...' He thought to himself. He scribbled down a name, something that just came to mind. "Sujo." After which he turned and almost immediately someone was there to snatch the papers away and disappear with them behind a metal door. He was given a minor position to work as some sort of associate for this supposed big wig company known as Asuma Inc. He turned to see the doors quickly being shut behind him.

Wandering for a bit he found himself in a small town. There didn't seem to be a whole lot of activity, but it wasn't exactly abandoned either. Around the block he spotted an enormous building standing high on its own. There weren't any buildings or homes neighboring it, so it was easy to distinguish, plus with the large "ASUMA INC." plastered on the front of it. He stopped at the doors and blinked at it, reluctant to enter. He'd no idea what he was in for or what it was he would be doing for the next 200 years. He growled under his breath and shoved the door open taking slow hesitant steps inside. "Hello?"

Frigus turned his head sharply towards the entrance, it was no tourist they were too scared to enter the shop, and it was no regular. That left only one horrible alternative. One of them showed up. If he didn't have an image to uphold he would have sighed or glared, or something bitter, but he was a professional. His distinct ability to hind his true scorn was one of his most impressive. He let only a smirk crack his repose as he looked over the young thing. He was good looking, which was good. No matter what Asuma said, he had standards, and the highest of them didn't pierce the skin. Even a cold shoulder could attract many customers, regular customers, if it belonged to a beauty. This he learned from experience. He walked smoothly to the young man observing; the young thing seemed just as agitated as himself. He couldn't see why, he should feel honored to work with such an experienced clerk as himself. It was probably nerves, he was intimidating.

“Good morning,” he said with a smile, a smug smile, but a nice one none the less. He knew well he held an air of superiority. He was superior so it only suited him. He inclined his head, “I am Oculi,” the tone he held was pleasant, even charming, “I’m the owner and manager of this shop, I’ll be training you for Asuma,” and hopefully only you he thought to himself.

He scowled for a moment, only silence greeted him. Stepping in more he hadn't realized just how massive this building was. Red eyes that exuded hate flitted about the room, taking in just how ancient it was as well. He heard footsteps and folded his arms, watching Frigus approach him. He felt eyes all over him and it unnerved him. He felt like he was being evaluated simply by the way he looked but lucky for him the other seemed pleased. He felt like a newborn, in skin he'd never been in before. As awakening as this whole experience had been, he just wanted things to slow down so he could have time to process it. But of course, it never worked that way in this realm. You either do or you live in purgatory, which he never wanted to return to. He didn't want to dwell to long on those thoughts, he knew just standing around waiting for things to happen wasn't going to get him no where.

He moved his arms down to his sides, his eyes trailing up Frigus's body. If it felt as good as being scrutinized with looks Frigus would have understood his motive. A sly smirk curled on his lips and he shifted his body slightly to one side tilting his head. "Mornin, master. I am Sujo. Nice to meet you." He replied trying to match the others charm, however it wasn't his intention to be necessarily friendly. He was still very much unsure of this situation and his defense mechanism was kicked into high gear. "Where is everyone else?" He paused looking around, the place seemed entirely vacant.

Frigus let the young thing look him over. His more primal nature took it as a challenge, and his smile grew to a grin. The beauty of demonic dealings he thought fondly. In every good deal both parties were on the verge of ripping each other apart of course maybe it was just him, he was from those days. When a sly smirk cracked the young things observation of Frigus he couldn't help but think that he must have been new off the boat, or extremely daring. His eyes lit it was amazing how difficult to keep calm, his mind kept him standing politely before the thing though. It was far more likely the child just didn't realize who he was dealing with he reminded himself. The boy tilted his head, and stood laxly, as compared to Frigus’ demeanor it was very, hum he didn't quite know now to put it. Cocky that was it, just like his speech. Very cocky.

Of course from such a young thing, anything but absolute admiration he would see as cocky, even stupid. His eyes betrayed his proper demeanor, and he knew it, they always lit intensely with his agitation. He was still very angry that his shop was being invaded, and this things attitude only put him on edge more so. He hated dealing with such things, he had to admit the attitude would be good for the customers that were more like himself. The light in his eyes faded as his primal nature was taken by reason. Even if it was just that he had no idea who Frigus was -few did- if he kept such an attitude it would be useful in such a business. He waited for a moment to answer the child's question, looking at the young thing, Sujo thoughtfully. He put one arm across his chest and his other carried his hand to his chin as he observed Sujo, knowing no subtlety in his scrutiny.

Finally he waved the hand at his chin gesturing lazily towards the door, “Not here as of yet, hopefully we are everyone, I manage this shop alone. I don’t usually have company,” he said attempting to speak little more casually, “While we wait here for them, I’ll answer your questions, I’m sure Asuma didn't tell you much,” he said with a smirk. “They waited until only last week to inform me that I would have guests,” he was obviously a little agitated, “I had to empty two rooms of merchandise." Though he was speaking casually, it was that odd sort of casualty that wasn't really casual at all, he was a true clerk and didn't even realize it.

*Creeeak* The sound expanded from the rust-eaten hinges, tumbling through the silence it filled the room. Tiny fingers wrapped around the edge of the oaken portal, so did the breeze from the outside world. Slowly the door to the timeless shop opened, aided by hand and shoulder, revealing a small clerk clutching an overstuffed notebook against his slick silk black suit jacket. The young man stepped across the threshold without a word. His gaze seemed to arrest his attention as it guided him along the thick stone walls.

The marvels that sat racked to the interior of the store towered over him. Gawking at the trinkets and curios, their sinister appearances sat in the reflection of his bifocals, unmoving from the shelf they slowly animated upon the surface of the glasses. He drew nearer to the shelf, adjusting his stance, leaning on his tip-toes towards one crystal sculpture in particular perched just a little out of his reach. For some reason, the artwork called to his hand. Reaching as hard as he could he managed to grab it... almost.

He pulled the large crystal off the shelf with his one free hand, and with it, he pulled the entire length of the shelf downward. Without a moment of hesitation, all of the dark relics and their precious value crashed to the floor. The clerk was showered in evil pieces of art from every millennia, shocked at the loud percussion as the hit the floor and cascading upon his head. As he stood shivering, his excitement immediately turned to horror. His heels spun to bring him face to face with the shop manager. Gasping for breath, he quickly bowed, his long white hair covering his bright red face. His teeth chattering, his eyes as wide as the Abyss, he stood frozen in the midst of his mess, still holding the crystal.

He had tested the waters, applied heat and watched it boil. He seemed to enjoy that look one gets when in their eyes, how they flare with all the emotion the face was hiding. It must have been in Sujo's nature, some deep rooted instinct to set fire to everything. He had always been one to seek trouble out, never really giving it an opportunity to find him first. The curl in his lips faded and his eyes sank to the floor. The newborn felt a tinge in his stomach, an ache that felt like a giant knot wrapping around his insides. He hadn't noticed it growing, or had excited he had become. The sensation peaking as he stared down Frigus, his body was suddenly working against him as if it wanted something he hadn't thought about.

Everything he felt amplified itself since had become a demon. He knew little to nothing about the creatures, and this was evident in the way his body reacted to Frigus. Adrenaline flushed from his veins as he tried to calm himself. The sudden thought of shredding the other demon's flesh clouded his mind, that loathing he inherited pulsating through him. He clenched his fists then folded his arms again, taking a deep breath. He couldn't lose his cool now, it wasn't something he would normally do so he wasn't about to risk his first impression. He found his voice and very calmly spoke to Frigus, his demeanor not as challenging. "I don't think you could answer them all but I just have one related to this place." He responded his eyes finding Frigus again. "What do I do?" He said simply. He always knew the more simple the question, the more complicated an answer. Without a sense of elaboration or specification in the question, the more imaginative of an answer he could get but he wasn't exactly thinking too clearly.

Just as he ended his sentence his attention was quickly drawn to an abrupt crashing from behind where they stood. Dust wafted from the direction and settled slowly in the dead air around them. He raised an eyebrow, searching through the debris to find someone standing caught in the middle, the apparent cause of the shelf's and all it's item's demise. It was never a good sign when the first thing an employee does is destroy company property. He snickered slightly under his breath, amused by this newcomer's antics. "Nice... That'll get you promoted." He poked, letting out a short laugh.

Frigus glanced down seeing the clenched fists, subtlety; a light smile graced his face as he pretended not to notice. That would be impolite, his eyes returned to Sujo as he spoke. He waited fairly ready to answer any question the young thing had. When the words passed through his lips Frigus paused thinking, just what would he have them do? He didn’t want them to touch anything, at least things that were valuable, now, things that would give them hives, or cause instantaneous death, those things fine. That may even be humorous but, Asuma would demand an explanation, easy enough, but then they would send more. He could just store them in a pot until Asuma forgot about them but- he was forced to stop mid thought. His eyes widened dangerously as behind his back he heard the most infuriating sound.

One crash fallowed swiftly by another, and another, each taking a piece of his repose. His eyes were more reptilian than human at this point as he froze. He looked as if if one moved to suddenly before him he would strike at them like a snake. And oh he would. The dust settled, it only somehow added to his fury. He fully intended to kill whoever it was that stood behind him. Rip them apart piece by piece, all of the commotion today had him feeling nostalgic, why not indulge. Just like the old days, ripping soul from body slowly. Frigus heard Sujo’s words as only a murmur through his boiling blood. He turned around searching with inhuman eyes for his victim. Oh yes they would be promoted. Frigus would drag them to the depths of hell himself. He saw a tiny thing amongst the debris.

That’s all he could process, it was small, small and incredibly stupid, what more so held his mind was the glass on the floor. His merchandise shattered and destroyed while this thing, that would not be alive long held a Calling Crystal. Compared to the other things a useless device, used for communication between the plains. A. Cheap. Trinket. Why couldn’t it have saved the summoning glass, or the Vangee pot? Livid his eyes drilled into the thing. Finally he made his move walking swiftly towards it, brisk steps that let him get within inches of it in only a moment. He ripped the crystal from the dearly departed’s hand. His voice came out quietly, more of a hiss than anything as he leaned down to his face, “What are you doing in my shop,” you worthless piece of less than filth, I would like to know before I kill you, he said, though the majority of it was spoken clearly through his deathly gaze rather than his mouth.

Thoughts inside his tiny head seemed to lump together with each other as well as an inward gravity that sunk into his stomach. Hana's vision had clouded, like his glasses didn't exist where they sat. All that he saw in front of him was blurred by aqueous guilt. The floor had turned from cleanly swept to cluttered and wrecked beneath his Nike's. He now stood toe to toe with an elegant pair of dress shoes. They seemed to be talking to him but Hana could not hear a thing. He felt a jolt as the crystal he so ignorantly grasped was plucked from his hand.

It began as a tremble. A quick twitch in his neck, the effects of which, shimmied down his spine. It proceeded to branch out from the nerves in his back, tickling his ribs. A blue hot pulse, it spread with a teasing vigor along veins that were now thickened and throbbing. They had noticeably risen above the surface of his milk white skin. It paralyzed him, from head to toe. It made his skin crawl. It made the hairs on his butt stand up. It mocked him. It continued to build inside his body until his shaking frame couldn't take it any longer. And without any thought or control over himself... he exploded!!

"WAAAAHHHHHHHHHH" His heart sunk to the ground. Kneeling in his own sorrow, his coattails began to soak up his tears. He cried "WUBB WUBB" "WAAAAWWAAAWWWAAAAHHHHHHHH" He had tried to stop the jetstream of tears gushing forth with his hands. Soon, puddles had filled the remaining space left that was not covered in antique debris. He was overwhelmed by glimpses of his past jobs as a clerk. A short montage of tumbling book shelves and burning fax machines played through his head. Hana fell forward, dragging his moist hair across the great lake. He put his hand out to avoid a much deserved faceplant. The palm of his hand landed safely... He thought... He soon felt the material beneath his fingertips and recognized it to be not ground, but shoe.

Hana picked his head up. He looked at the owner of his hand's resting place. A fiery gaze met his eyes. Soon, the puddles of water surrounding him, covering him, pouring out of his coat pockets steamed and evaporated. For a moment, he felt warm and fuzzy. The cheery warmth faded, and his skin felt like he was sitting underneath the sun. As he raised eyebrows in awe, one of them burst into flames. Undaunted he stared at the demon towering over him. "Hi" Hana said, bluntly.

The atmosphere around seemed chilling as a frigid air settled. Sujo's eyes flickered with anticipation, his body poised. The others reaction to the destruction of his property was perfectly lined with an aura of death, his chi trembling ready to obliterate. Sujo's jest fell on deaf ears, it seemed the last thing the moment could ever be was humorous, at least to the other two. He remained amused although he decided for he best to drop any tomfoolery, seeing how Hana's escapade was already border lining hilarious. He watched the boy's face swell and erupt into a wailing mess, soaking the floor with pools of tears. It surprised him to no end how he managed to conjure that much liquid from such a small body, he assumed he must retain water like a damn sponge.

He held a hand to his mouth, pinching the skin under his lip. His muscles itched to curl into a smirk, an involuntary act that made him turn his head slightly away. This was going to be an interesting business to work in after all, especially if all he had to do to impress his boss was the do the exact opposite of the little clumsy mess wallowing at Frigus's feet. Finally it happened, a sneer broke onto his face and he hid himself further. Breathing in deeply he was determined to not let such trivial antics get the best of him. Straightening his body he composed himself, lowering his eyes to Hana. For now he let his curiosity run rampant. He wondered just what was in store for the little guy as he glanced between Frigus and Hana. He offered silence, anything else could add to the fury already pent up in Frigus.

Hana starred blankly at the creature towering over him. Hard as a sledgehammer, the striking image of the satanic salesman hit him in the chest. An aura surrounded the hell-spawn that drew Hana's attention away from the current predicament he should have focused on digging himself out of. Aside from the anger visible in his eyes, a colorfully dark shade of red outlined the figure before him. Pushing his glasses back into position on his nose with a steady hand, he was able to examine the creature's features clearly.

An ancient scent drifted above the smell of stone and wood. It distinguished it's self from the other old junk littering the shop. Hana could not name or imagine what it could be. His other senses scanned up and down the body, taking in this new aura. More prominent than his lady-killing good looks was his stance. It was adamant and poised. Hana felt like he was being pushed down into the earth and he fought to keep himself upright. Finally he was able to place where the unique characteristic was coming from. Bearing down upon him was a pure and absolute hatred.

Hana's heart sunk. It dropped into the bottom of his chest, skipping a couple beats on the way down. All at once, he was completely and totally infatuated. As his nerves shook with excitement, his thoughts began to race each other in circles around his head. He lacked the strength to pry his eyes away from looking at him, but they would cease to be stuck as they were slowly in the motion of rolling into the back of his head in ecstasy. He was soon blind, and without conscious thought his body began to move on autopilot. He reached out to the image in his mind of a shirtless Frigus, standing on a beach somewhere in the Caribbean, eating a pineapple. His arm rose from his side. It slowly clutched the shopkeeper's knee and began to massage it.

The tendril of drool had been growing for the past couple of minutes from the corner of Hana's mouth. Swaying below his chin, the weight of this bubbly transparent substance pulled it back towards the owner and it wrapped it's self to Hana's neck. Hana IMMEDIATELY realized what it was and his vacationing mind was sent flying back to reality. Appauled and embarrassed at himself, he scrambled to gather every piece of merchandise around him. He stood up with his arms full of goblets, serpent-shaped pipes, and small, malevolent tiki sculptures. Above the pile collected in his arms he started pleading, "I'm sorry I'm Sorry Mr. Frigus I'm sorry, please don't kill me, I have to feed my cats!!"
