If the people over at DAISY CHAIN somehow found this post and asked me to take the link down, I would. I honestly thought the premise of this game was SO funny that I had to play it. I found the PS2 version quite easily, but there was nothing for the PC version! I was shocked. But then, I saw the main game for sale on Japanese Amazon, and the append disk on Surugaya.jp. I purchased them and had my friend in Japan send them on over to me, and I ripped the contents... now here we are! Before you try and extract all the parts together as is, check out my post on my split file renamer tool. You WILL need it in order to extract everything properly. It lists the features of the tools, and why you gotta use them/rename the files. I uploaded a video on how to kinda use the tools. Watch up until a minute or so if you need help. Archive I go kinda fast, so feel free to pause! For installation... you want to click the install exe. It's just a regular installer, so go through with that. The game will then pop up when it's finished. Take notice of a disclaimer in the beginning... note that there's only one for now. That's important. To add on the BL stuff, go to the BL Append disk folder I've bundled in. Click the "DoubleReaction_18" exe. Make sure you're installing the BL Append disk where you also installed the game. Same as the main installer, just go through that one. Run the game/play it when it pops up, now you will notice something different if it installed successfully... you'll see that there's two disclaimers! There's a bottom one where it's probably just saying stuff that it's for adults 18 and over. Also, to put some disclaimer stuff here... I am most likely the only person in the west, or even the planet, to upload this game and its info online to this extent. As you may have noticed from the title... I purchased this game myself. If Ishiyama-san somehow found this post and asked me to take the link down... I would. I genuinely respect the fuck out of that woman for making BL games 20+ years ago while she did a full time job. That's insane dedication. I want to keep her work alive, even though it comes from a completely different era and cultural landscape. I think as a creator who worked crazy hard on her games, she should have her work seen and remembered by more people, especially yaoi fans. I'd tell you to support her in some way, but realistically... she's most likely moved on from BL stuff. And she's, from an educated guess, possibly at the least really late 30's, at most 50's by now. Plus, her works being doujin stuff, limited prints of CD-R's, the SSB website being defunct, not even having an online presence that I could find literally at all... it's just not possible anymore. So, I wanted to do this- as some random yaoi fangirl gaijin- to make sure her work doesn’t disappear completely. For installation... open the iso with WinCDEmu and run the launcher exe. I think you go through it like a normal installer. Go to where you installed it, and run the yuyu exe. Should pop up and run just fine! Thankfully for this game, you don't need to have the iso virtually mounted to run it. Once you've installed it, it's OK. Just a note here. Dunno if this'll happen to anyone else. Buuuut... when I test ran the game with my headphones wirelessly, the menu music (and the other music) notably stuttered. But I plugged them into my speaker... and the music was just fine. I have NO freakin' clue why in the world it did this, but it's probably some compatibility or age related whozeewhatsit. Just... if this happens to you, you're not the only one. If you have a fix...
