My name is YaoiWolf, feel free to call me Wolfie or come up with your own thing. I'm a pretty easy-going person and, ask anyone, I'm easy to get along with. If you wanna know anything about me all you need to do is ask! I read a lot and watch lots of anime, so those are always great topics of discussion. Along with that, I'm a gamer! I'm Noise Prince, and I'm not very good at introductions like this… but I met some very lovely people on chat who were incredibly friendly and fun, so I figured it was worth the shot to try it out. As you can probably tell, I'm new and a bit awkward, and you've probably already figured out that I'm interested in yaoi, and if you hadn't, then it's spelled out for you I'm really interested in making friends and am quite interested in roleplaying, which was the main reason I made an account. I haven't role-played in a forum for quite a while (and I've never role-played yaoi), so I might be a little rusty on how these sorts of things go (Looking at the role-play glossary, there are a lot of terms I hadn't heard of!), but I'll try to get the hang of it quickly. I consider myself "semi-lit" to "lit" depending on ones' standards, but I guess that'd be "Novella" according to the glossary. If you're willing to role-play with a newbie, let's go for it! I'm very open to almost any genre. I like slice-of-life, low fantasy, high fantasy, some supernatural (Burned out on vampires and werewolves, but I've been on a really strong angel/demon kick lately! So if you are too, let's plan one together! I'm rather clunky with canon or existing characters/stories… so I'd like to stick with original stories and characters. I'm also not a big fan of heteronromativity. Heteronormativity, as defined by google: Heteronormativity Heteronormativity is the belief that people fall into distinct and complementary genders (man and woman) with natural roles in life. It asserts that heterosexuality is the only sexual orientation or only norm, and states that sexual and marital relations are most (or only) fitting between people of opposite sexes. It's kind of complicated, but heteronormativity is the idea that the 'heterosexual model' is the norm, so that even in guyxguy relationships or girlxgirl relationships, there is always the "So whose the man/woman of the relationship?" question- because that's the model. The popular dynamic of the uke being "cute, feminine, submissive" (the "woman") and the seme being "cool, masculine, dominate" (the "man") is a result of heteronormativity. I'm not opposed to characters being either way, I love feminine characters, I love masculine characters, I love ambiguous characters (more than life *cough*), whether they're uke/seke/seme/uncategorized/unrelated/etc. … but there are ways in which they can be expressed without being heteronormative. Sorry, I don't think I explained this very well… and I wrote so much on it… > TL;DR I would like to role-play original stories and characters about nearly anything- and I like angels and demons, and google can explain words better than me. As from title: hiya! Here's Sara, better known as Nabucco, usually shortened as Nebu [waves awkwardly], from sunny (not really) Italy. (I was at first kinda unsure about introducing myself, since there's not really that much to say but, I mean, why not giving it a chance, right?) No, seriously, what am I supposed to say here? Mumble. Let's see. I'm eighteen going on seventy, and that's a start. I like my coffee black or extremely sugary, messy what-am-I-going-to-do-today plans and pretty much all kinds of music (except for rap and techno maybe, but I'm not picky). I'm a pro at complaining (who isn't these days), writing dumb shit, spending money unnecessarily and fighting on behalf of fictional characters. You can find me moping in dark corners, grumbling angrily at badly-made zombie movies' creators, or saving moths in adamitic costume just for the sake of it. I'm actually a fan of yaoi and nipponic productions since I was twelve (just thinking about that period makes me cringe [covers face with hands]). I discovered it in the bad way: everyone always laughs their asses off when I tell them, but my first anime ever (if we're not counting Hello Spank! replicas on tv and maybe Kodomo no Omocha, which at the times I didn't know were anime) was Boku no Pico. All the three OVAs. Yeah. And then the list of scarily sexual anime I watched went on and on (yaois have gone soft since then, let me tell you), and after a sabbatic year or two of reclusion from the anime/manga world (in which I discovered the wonders of tv shows, comics and most importantly zombies) here I am, buying arguably useful stark-naked action figures in my pajamas. Just thought I'd say "hello" and introduce myself. You can call me italics and, somehow, out of all the times I've looked for yaoi, I've never stumbled upon this site. So far, I'm super impressed; not only with the content, but the poeple here as well. You're all so nice! I feel so at home here. ^///^ I am a computer and network tech for a trucking company (though it is soon to be absorbed by swift) and have been in love with yaoi ever since I stumbled upon it at 13. ^^; I am 23, a guy, gay and am pretty shy in real life, though on the internet I've always been a bit more open. I am also a chatter box, enigmatic and quite random; my prefered choice of phrasing being a mix of stolen classic terms and oddly childish things as well. *Blushes* (For instance, I just found out that "learnt" is no longer in the dictionary. Holy shit.) Although I am a computer tech, with my recent coming out, I am planning to do something I've always dreamed of doing instead. Plan to start going to school to be a beautision. I'm Steamprincess! I should have introduced myself a while ago, but never got around to do it, so I'll do it now that I do have time, and hope you won't mind me rambling :hamtaro-005 (5): Anyways. I got into BL when I was around 10, as I had read a lot about this gay man named Jan Thomas and thought about how normal "that stuff" is. I had been writing stories for at least two years then, but never anything gay. After that I got more OC-pairings, the oldest probably being with the Angel of Death. I started focusing a lot on homosexual relationships, both drawing and writing (both which have permanently marked both my sisters), and I'm quite content with everything I have done this far, as practicing makes masters. The funny thing is, I didn't discover Anime/Manga before I was nearly 16, then with Hetalia, but after I did, I got straight into Shounen-Ai and Yaoi. I think it was because I already was very open minded, and because it was already intriguing me. I an that kind of "law-breaker" who read R-18 Mangas before I was allowedrabbit4 Except for Yaoi, I like Heavy Metal (Nightwish, COBHC, DragonForce and others), JRR Tolkien and other Fantasy literature. I also like writing and drawing.
