I just finished my exams as well as my summer semester so I can finally focus on yaoi content THANK GOD 😫😫 The blcd I'm sharing today is actually a new one (which is kinda unlike of me cuz I've been trying to purchase works I couldn't get to listen to, which are all from a few years ago), but Tadokoro Hinata is in this work so why would I not buy it lolol And not to mention Chiba Shouya as the uke is a plusss !! And I've been playing this game called Tokyo Debunker (iykyk) and these two are part of the so-called ghouls cast, so when I saw their names in this work I felt a sense of familiarity sort of lol Idk if this game is actually that popular, but I've been hooked with the plot (even if there are some unrealistic elements, but aye, then that would beat the whole purpose of this game) and stuck with it for at least half a year now I think 🤔 I do find it kinda annoying that you have to beat every single battle levels in order to continue on with the story but I always feel proud of myself for beating them in the end and keep going lmao I'm still in season 1 of the plot cuz I just have a lazy ass but I'm almost at the second season! CONTEXT: (NOTE: there's dubcon / dubious consent in track 1 so do proceed with caution if that's not your thing !! And the uke in this story is like, really naive so please keep that in mind lol) In this work we have our uke Takaya! He's got such a cute and cheerful vibe, but he's actually a rookie host lol He just kinda started this job on a whim, wondering what being a host is like. So as of this moment he's not considered the number 1 or 2 and is currently just doing his best to survive in this harsh world. Just as he's thinking that this job is just suffocating and gives him such a hard time, he comes back from work real drunk and even forgot his keys to his apartment! Because Takaya isn't sober like at all, he ends up just knocking out in front of his door lol And this is when the seme, Saitou shows up :D Saitou, who's a novelist, is actually Takaya's neighbor and just came back from getting ice cream (it's kind of like a routine of his) when he saw Takaya just sprawled out. Saito initially thought that this was going to be really bothersome, but eventually waited until Takaya woke up (outside btw not inside lol). And when the little drunk man did gain a little bit of consciousness, he asks why they're still outside; to this Saitou responds that he didn't want to make things weird cuz he's gay And Takaya's response (istg he's so naive 😭) is instant flirting (as a joke ofc) and even showed him a drug that'll "send" people heaven and give pleasure !! Saitou had to first, quickly explain that's not how being gay works and second, didn't really have much to say about the drug part. He just decides to let Takaya into his house now that he's awake, and actually pretends that he spiked Takaya's drink, supposedly to teach this naive young adult that he shouldn't think of these type of drugs lightly. Takaya, who doesn't know that fact, thinks he's been affected and ends up giving into pleasure that Saitou gave him! And after this incident, Takaya falls head over heels for Saitou and keeps hanging out with him, hoping that one day Saitou will love him back. He even tries harder at work, and they eventually gets a bit closer than they were! But what Takaya doesn't know just yet is Saitou's past with his ex-boyfriend, and the reason why he's living in the same apartment as Takaya. OTHER NOTES: I'm not sure why but both the uke and seme never state their full names in the work, so I'm not even sure if Takaya is his real name or if it's just a host name lol And Some Clarifications to Make About the Story: The context I wrote might suck this time cuz I didn't get to write all the stuff I wanted to since they'll just be spoilers 😭😭 I really do hope what I wrote makes sense and doesn't sound toxic, cuz trust me, it really isn't that bad compared to other red flag stories I've read 😫 Takaya isn't a drug addict, he just got those drugs from a coworker, who's the real dealer in this work Saitou is currently still grieving over his ex-boyfriend, who passed away And I tried to find the raws for this work cuz I'm not seeing any completed translations on other sites but I've failed to do so :'D But as of now there's 2 English translated chapters! They smelled my desperation to listen to it, so they kept it for a month :c But well, it’s finally here, and it was worth all the wait. As you might know (or maybe not), I’m a biiiiiig fan of Ryota Suzuki so that was enough for me to buy this, but then I also saw Fukuyama Jun in the main cast and that completely sealed the deal. ✧(⸝⸝⸝ᵒ̴̶̷ ｡ ᵒ̴̶̷⸝⸝⸝) It’s been a really long time since Fukuyama-san starred in a blcd, and I love his voice sooooooooo much. He has this elegant, sophisticated voice so it suited Neiro in his handsome vampire mode perfectly. Also, their first scene together when Ryota-san was supposed to be a little more aggressive... wow. It was so good that it even made me thank God for being alive and being able to listen to that ╥﹏╥ ╥﹏╥. But I’m really greedy and I wish I could have listened to another complete scene with Fukuyama-san and Ryota-san together, ahhh. Also Ichikawa Aoi's voice for Neiro in his chibi mode was totally amazing, it suited him really well too. I usually hear him everywhere as a side character, so I was really happy I could hear a different side of his voice as the main character this time. The cast was absolutely amazing *chef’s kiss* and did total justice to the manga. I also love most of the manga from Tsutako-sensei, I’m a total sucker for pretty long-haired characters just like her. She’s a real queen for the puppy top x pretty long-haired bottom stans like me. MOTHER 🗣️ It was worth everything: my time, my money, and my customs headaches. If you read through all my rambling, thank you! I hope you all like it just as much as I did. P.S. It’s been a very long time since I’ve translated a BLCD script. I had found a transcribing program that would help me convert audio tracks to Japanese text. After I’ve run it through, I send it to my Japanese friend to double check for errors. This process this round is a lot less taxing and a lot easier to focus on translating from Japanese to English. In the past, I had to listen by ear and repeat the tracks very often, which led to a lot of internal mistakes and fatigue. Moving forward, I will only strictly translate the audio and lines spoken by the voice actors. I used to fill the in between silent moments with creative writing to describe what was happening in the scene. Again, it has been a long time since I’ve done BLCD translations, so I’m doing a few sample tracks from After Midnight Skin (Azakami Youhei x Toki Shunichi), Mousou Catalogue (Suzuki Tatsuhisa x Abe Atsushi), and the Warui Koto Series (Midorikawa Hikaru x Mizushima Takahiro). I absolutely adore this manga, and when I found out that my dear Manabu was going to be voiced by Takeo Otsuka, I was really excited. So I needed to buy it. I looooove how puppy tops sound with his voice (the yearning, excitement, love) Ugh, Takeo Otsuka is really amazing. And the contrast with Soma Saito is so good. I have nothing new to say about Soma Saito, he's amazing as always! That bratty/rude voice of his... muah *chef's kiss. This is a yearner x tsundere story, so it's one of my favorite manga right now ✨️ Also, if you don't know where to read it, I'll leave the link below. I translated and did everything myself, so I hope it’s not that bad hehe. When I said it was one of my favs, I wasn't kidding, I reaaaaaaaally need the world to read and listen to this. I'm excited to share this work from 太陽星輝/Taiyo! He's one of my favourite VAs, and the "latest" one of his work shared was in maybe 2023? Still I wish more people would buy his works—his performance is really good ! I'd say he does lean more towards on the "loud" kind of voice (like haruma/spring?) but it is not too exaggerated or too much(at least for me!) This is a Rental Boyfriend × Tutor and the title of this work in english is something like "the demon instructor just wants to be loved and cuddled—A secret, sweet after-five with my rental boyfriend" so u can guess how his character is like lols (｡・´ᵕ｀・｡) I usually yap about the work on this part (˶˃▪︎˂˶) so u can skip this !! I love how you can tell whenever he gets shy hehe,, sometimes it feels like those "his aegyo is soo refreshing" if u get me LMAO. At first I got the impression that his tone would be monotonous and scary at the first part of the tracks but lol it didn't last that long, his tone shifts whenever he's with the seme><! He's soso cute being super polite and all at first lmao! Plus even with the description of him being super strict and scary, he really does care for his students!! He acts and teaches strict so that they could reach their dreams paths, reading the description made felt like (◞‸◟ )awh I was super curious on how the va executes the character's voice, ( which made me immediately buy it + the cover lol) and it did exceed my expectations ! Oh and he does sob/cries at some part so 👀👀 okay I'll stop the yap here before i spoil any more (oh and can u tell i finally learned how to center the texts🤧)+ I feel like i might be glazing this too much too but I hope it will be just as good and enjoyable for you guys as well! Thank you so much for sharing the BLCD of this work!! I’m a huge fan of Yamada Nonono-sensei’s works and Yoake ga Ichiban Kurai in particular won quite a few awards!
