Oh my... being the first one to post makes me sooo nervous! >. but someone most be the first one so... here goes nothing... first i just want to explain my interpretation of "Lost Reason". For this story, i saw lost reason as if meaning the same as craziness. like... you stop thinking with reason and start thinking with emotions. so you end up doing things that others don't understand... they will think you are crazy for doing something so rash! crazy... losing reason... no? ^^'' (damn it's hard to explain! O_O) the main point here is lost reason = craziness= love. anyway! XD here's my story! hope you guys like it! (i must admit it's a bit weird though...)

hello i am submiting my story for the contest i do not know if it is any good but umm it is called True love has no reason. i hope you like it True love has no reason My gaze is drawn to him as always. And Bryce as always does not notice me or the reaction that he has on me. Love was how my sister put it when I first described it to her. But no matter how many time I may say it is not true I Chris was in love with another man. My eyes only averted there view when he was out of site and I made my way to the next class my thoughts as usual on him long after he had gone my heart pounding my hands sweating. As I tried to get my bearings my thoughts mixed up my Bryce’s appearance I released that my next class was drama. With Bryce. As I gathered up my courage I made my way to the class intentionally taking the long way. I wish that I could be his but I had a reason. Even if I could talk to him even if he knew of my existence there was no way that he could ever like me. The constant flirting with girls, he was always chasing after another girl. It was a false dream one that was disgusting and wrong. I told myself for the tenth time that I was going to forget about him. Looking ahead I saw the final corner before the drama room. Pausing momentarily I took a deep breath that left my lips as I was pulled suddenly to the side my small frame having no hope over the powerful body of my attacker. As I turned around I saw… Bryce? My body suddenly limp I somehow managed to take in my surroundings that I was behind the tall bushes that was beside the building. I had often passed them but I had never noticed the space that was behind them that we were in was this big. You could fit 10-20 people here and the thick ness of the bushes meant that no one could have a clue that you were there. That we were there. As the thought that me and Bryce being alone together came to mind I started to blush thinking of what was happening. And as I looked at his face a wide grin spread across it I saw that I was going to have to break the silence. “br-bryce what are y-you doing?” I strutted out my speaking skills failing from my embarrassment. “I have been noticing how you look at me all the time” he responded his voice barley louder than a whisper. My eyes widened as I heard him speak. My secret had been noticed and worse of all he had been the one to notice. As he walked forward myself backing away from him scared of what he was going to do to me to punish me for likening him scared that he was going to hurt me that he was going to kill me. As my back touched the wall behind me I knew that I could no longer escape from him. I was trapped! Bam!! His hands banged into the wall beside my ears the sound like an earthquake. His head coming closer. I closed my eyes my fate sealed. And then he did the thing that surprised me the most. He kissed me. My heart soaring my pulse quickening and my heart pounding I kissed him back. I had lost my reason to resist the truth. Because there is no reason to love. When there is a reason then it is not love. And you can only truly love when you lose that reason.

Summary: The story of an every day couple, a simple but moving story about love and understanding Status: Complete i am sorry for posting it again but i had the story edited with lots of help if you like it please tell me why thanks Late from work The clouds were looming, casting shadows everywhere and rain poured like tears streaming from sorrowful eyes. The wind whistled and branches swayed along with it's invisible dance, mirroring the life that now hid from rain's cold embrace. Rain water had made the window glass blurry but still I looked through it, a silent gesture to sate my worry, even for a little bit. Matt had finished his work a few minutes ago and I wonder what was taking him so long to get home. No matter the weather; be it tornadoes, rain, hail, or shine, in the three years that we have been living together, he always came home on time, never late. I knew that I shouldn't worry, but I could not help but be concerned about his well being. I did love him, after all the hardships that we have gone through. My father have not approved of us being together. Still didn't. He continually told me that two men should not be together, sometimes his anger would turn to violence and he would harm me physically. Matt had been my refuge and anchor on those painful days. I shook my head, inwardly slapping myself for thinking the past. Time was precious and I needed to concentrate on thinking about other things; like what our dinner would be, the effort Matt always gave made a small smile blossom on my face. He was the one who worked, cleaned and cooked. He's even the one who goes shopping for the both of us. At that thought, despair silently crawled through me. I was useless...and maybe he had left me. My eyes began to water, logic being replaced by fear with an overwhelming dose of despair. The door opened and in came Matt, with the addition of several bags. And in my fear I threw caution to the wind, jumping him and clinging ever so tightly against his bigger frame. "You're late. Where were you?" I stated shakily, burying my face in the fabric of his coat. "I missed you. I was so worried." I continued, suddenly realizing that I was acting so childishly. I pulled away from him, flushing brightly in embarrassment before I dropped my gaze to the floor. "Forget it. I know it's none of my business." I mumbled silently, turning and running back to my...no, our room, Matt uttering the only words that could stop me. "No, you're right. I'm sorry. I should have called to tell you that I was going to be late." He said as relief slowly flooded me. Hope and happiness lighting my face, I slowly turned it towards him. "Really?" Was my query. "Yeah." Matt replied as he continued. "After all, you probably thought that I was running away. I mean, you're so dumb I bet you were almost in tears." He laughed then, probably thinking that what he said was a funny jest. I began to hit him, again and again, my small hands just bouncing off of him. "You meany! How could you say that meaaannny!" I shouted continuously. Shrugging me off with barely a glance, he continued past me as if I was nothing but leaves in the breeze. "Shut up. You know I keep you around for a reason. Who else can I get to annoy me when I'm bored, hmm?" He stated in a voice lacing with boredom. "Matt don't leave me here! You promised me last week that you'd be nice more often!" I said, blatantly ignoring what he just said. I heard him sigh just before he turned and silenced me with what I have silently wanted. A kiss. The feel of his strong lips against my soft ones immediately calmed me down, just as I slowly relaxed myself against his arms. I closed my eyes and took a few seconds to enjoy our kiss before I pulled back, opening my eyes and a smile grazing my lips. "Welcome home, love." Was my simple statement. "Good to be back." Was his equally simple reply. "Oh, and the reason that I was late was because I wanted to get you an anniversary present." Were his words just before he gave me the cutest stuffed tiger I have ever seen. "I love it." I stated, grabbing and holding it close to me. "I love you." Were the words I gave as an after thought. Matt had promised me that breakfast. I slowly climbed out of bed, flushing slightly at my state of nakedness before grabbing fresh nearby clothes and putting them on. I headed out of our room and down the stairs, the smell of breakfast getting stronger with each step that I took. "Good morning, Matt." I said, jumping the last flight of stairs and landing perfectly into his arms, giving his cheek a kiss for his effort. I hopped down to the kitchen floor, licking my lips in excitement as I sat myself on a chair before pulling it closer towards the table. I ate quickly, as if my life depended on it and Matt silently giving me his winsome smile as he sat down opposite me and began eating too. "So Matt," I began, striking a conversation. "What are you going to be doing today?" Matt is the chairman of Netex Company, a new big company that already brought $200,000 of profit a day. And because of his position, everyday was always different. "We'll have a conference this morning but I'll be free the entire afternoon. So..." He replied, trailing off at the end of his sentence. "So, what?" I asked, interestedly. "Lately, you have had nothing to do while I'm at work." "I guess I have been a bit bored." I agreed. "And you have had no company to talk to as well." "Not true!" I denied adamantly. "I have Tiggy." The stuffed tiger that Matt had given me last month for our anniversary came to my mind and a small smile quirked up the edges of my lips. "Well this afternoon, I'm gonna adopt you someone for you to have a conversation with." Matt said, sighing and ignoring my words. "What!?" I screeched, too shocked to even move even as he finished his breakfast and gave me a kiss goodbye before leaving for his work. "But I don't want a child!" I screamed and silence only greeted me back. I collapsed to the floor just as my mind started to race on what I should do. Should I call Matt and tell him that I didn't want a child? But the problem was, I have no phone and I've never bothered to remember his number! Then maybe I could just tell him when he gets home. That couldn't work. The child would be with him when he got home. Mechanically, I picked myself up on the floor and headed out to get the mail, still silently thinking about a way out of the situation that I was in. I opened the mailbox and the letter atop the pile did not surprise me. They were divorce documents that my father sent every week. Ever since Matt and I got married, my father had not failed to send one of this documents to me. I have not told Matt about it and I was sure that he had no idea about it. Going back inside, I slowly laid the documents on top of the table and taking a chair for me to sit on as I stared at the compiled pieces of papers. An idea struck me and if I wanted to get out of the situation of being a parent, it was the only solution. Matt and I needed to have a divorce. The very idea was a painful one and even by just thinking about it, tears had started to roll down my cheeks. Spreading the papers in front of me, I slowly realized that tonight would be the night that I have never dreamed of. The night I was gonna say goodbye and that was gonna stay forever. Steadying myself, I grabbed a nearby pen just as I started reading the first page of the document, scribbling my signature on lines that needed them and silently bringing me closer to the end of me and Matt. It had taken me a few hours to finish signing the documents and by the time I was done, it was already two in the afternoon. I gave the papers a last glance before realizing that I have been crying the entire time, tear spots marring the general areas of the documents. I realized that what I did was foolish and overcome with that thought, I sped my way out of that room to get a bin and a shredder, a quick release to destroy the evidence of my weakness. The door opened and I hastened my steps back to the room, but I was too late. Matt was standing in the middle of the room, the documents in his hands and eyes moving through its writings. I froze, my gaze dropping to the floor as I waited for the explosion to happen. But it never arrived and as I looked up, Matt's usual bored expression greeted me. "It's not what it looks like. I swear!" I stammer out, fresh tears pouring down my cheeks. "You idiot." Matt replied. "You are only meant to sign some of the lines and not all of them." "What?" I asked, shocked at Matt's apparent disinterest. Matt did not reply. Just took the documents again before neatly tearing them into a couple of pieces. "Chris," He stated, smiling as if he had not just tore a signed document for a divorce. "It is time I introduce you to your new friend." He gave me a kiss on the cheek before he turned towards the living room and called out, "Rusty! Come on boy! Here Rusty!" "Rusty?" I asked slowly. "What kind of person's name is Rusty?" At my words, Matt burst into uncontrollable laughter, almost falling on himself at his apparent hilarity. "Matt tell me what is going on!?" I shouted, extremely annoyed. "So this is what all of this is about." Matt replied, calming himself down before bursting again in stifled laughter. "You really are an idiot." Turning towards the doorway, he confirmed exactly what was in my head the moment I saw the figure in it. Rusty was not the best name for a person, but it was a good name for a dog. And there, Rusty was a kelpie cross cattle dog. "Rusty.." I murmured under my breath. "Come here, boy." I cried, crouching and opening my arms as warm fur enveloped me. And I understood how lucky I was to have Matt. And Rusty too. The End
