Oh gosh, it's been years since I did any graphics (other than sig images and avatars). I used to make a lot of these "back in the day", but I just got so busy with real life stuff that I fell behind with my computer graphics. I never had Photoshop (still don't) so these probably aren't as great as most things, but they make me happy and I guess that's what counts! I just stumbled upon some of my older ones, so I might periodically post them as I find them. I just find images and blend them together, then add effects and/or text. At the time, these were just "blends" and there used to be a lot of competitions, etc. with different themes or required images. I'm not sure I have any of my competition ones anymore (that was at least two computers ago haha!) but I'll see what I can find. The first one I'm listing is one I made recently. Anywho, this is mostly just a fun thing I do every now and then. ^-^ p.s- I hope these look ok on other computers/browsers. *___* Most are .png for color/texture effects to show up as close to the original versions as possible, so I apologize if they take awhile to show up. Also, most of the textures were not made by me. I found them at graphics resource sites, so credit for those and/or brushes go to those sites. Stock images were also found by searching Google and the like, including stock photography (unless stated that the photo or scan was by me).

@Shizuna... Oh... that's really bad... I just hope you have a better choice next time... I think there are few place show how to make a simply sushi or maki... I don't know if your country have all the thing you need to make it... For me I kind of make it my way of sushi rice... It's little different as the one use in restaurant... It's just using white suger, vinegar and salt... In restaurant they used 'Mirin' it's mixture of rice wine, salt, vinegar, sweeten so on... I have to make for my niece and nephew also... So I make my own mixture... ^^ It's little bit hard to explain how much of each should be... I just do as it go... so I never measure them... And for the rice.. you have to use sticky rice... I don't know if you can get it in your country also... If you have any Korean or Japanese food store near you... They should have it... also they will have most of thing you need... Like seaweed sheet and thing to help roll the maki(it's made with bamboo stick)... Any way... if you want to know more about it... Just type 'making Maki' at google they will have lot of clip and site to tell you how to make it... ^^

@Yukuu Yeah it is, though my dad knows where he lives now. My dad found out they might actually be distant relatives (my dad does a lot of family history stuff) which sparked his interest and kinda pushed him to seriously look for him. They were really good friends before my dad left the country for a bit, and then they lost contact. But apparently my dad found out the guy is fairly well-known, and he's a writer, which is exciting because I want to become a writer.
