Misu was not the kind of man that got scared easily. He had been through a lot of things in life that would have put the fear in a young man his age but he was not the type. Very few things really scared him and the more afraid he was, the harder he fought them. He was never prepared to come across this kind of situation in his life yet. He was not sure how hard he could fight this. He felt he was losing it at warped speed. His footsteps were slow as he approached the room where Shingyouji was now confined. He was kept in the dark most of the time regarding his condition since it was limited to family only. A strong sense of trepidation seemed to surround his senses. It didn't feel real. None of this was real. He desperately wished things could have happened differently. What could he have done differently? He carefully turned the door knob to open and the sight of his beloved wrapped with bandages, the hissing sound of the monitors beside him, the intravenous drip and oxygen mask on his face made him nauseaous. He felt like the room was spinning but he held onto the door to steady his gait. Shingyouji was not alone in the room and it took every ounce of whatever courage he still had left to greet this person present with him. “How is he?” Misu asked gently. “The doctor could not give me any assurances yet but at least his vitals are stable for now. No one can tell me when he will wake up.” Shingyouji's grandmother sniffed as she gently massaged her grandson's hand. “I'm so sorry. I was there when it happened. I wish there was something I could have done...maybe none of this...” Misu began to stutter. He gripped the edge of the bed until his knuckles turned white. The old lady looked at him and gestured for him to come closer. Misu nodded and uneasily sat beside her. He could not bear to look her in the eyes. This was all his fault. If they hadn't met at the cafe maybe Shingyouji wouldn't have to be in this accident. “Do not blame yourself, Misu-kun. If you hadn't been there then I wouldn't have known right away my grandson was in an accident. I should be thanking you for calling his school so they informed me right away.” She smiled weakly. Those words did nothing to alleviate the fear Misu had. If any, it merely added more embarassment on his part. He didn't even bother to find out the contact number of Shingyouji's family. All he had was the contact information of Shidou High Academy's Student Council saved in his phone. Shingyouji's grandmother turned to Misu and gently tapped his hand. Her eyes have become puffy from tears and despite her aging features and stress, she managed to elicit a kind smile to calm down the young man who is now gaunt with fear and regret in his eyes. “I am glad you are here, Misu-kun. Every time Shingyouji-chan talks about you, his eyes would sparkle and he's so happy. My late husband want nothing in this world but for this boy to be happy because he's been through so much already even as a child. We try our best to protect him but we can only do so much. I am very old, Misu-kun. My Shingyouji-chan is still so young. What could he have done to deserve this? What has my boy done to deserve this? Why not me instead? I'm too old for this world. I saw many people have problems installing the game and the English patch so I made a video tutorial. I downloaded the game here: Silver Chaos + Upgrade + English Patch (only the torrent file) http://www.youtube.com/embed/V7E_nTiEKjE?

All the files needed can be found here: Silver Chaos (with English Patch) After you download it, you will see a folder called "silver chaos - all files". Put that folder somewhere and don't move it after that or you might encounter some errors later! OK, having said that, here is what you have to do: INSTALLING THE GAME: 1) go into the Silver Chaos folder 2) Click on Installer.EXE file. 3) Click on the top left button which will say something like \\@# 4) Now at the top you will see a drop-down option box. Choose the second option which has 600 in the name. this is a full-install, no-CD needed install. 5) Then choose a folder you want to save it in. Click on the bottom right button to proceed. 6) Let the installation process run till it stops. 7) You will now be back at the menu in Step (3), the top left button is now greyed out. Do NOT click at the second left button as that uninstalls your game. Now just click on the top right button to PLAY (or click on the icon on your desktop) and you will be brought to the main Silver Chaos game menu. INSTALLING THE 1.2 UPGRADE 1) go into the 1.2 glitch patch folder 2) click on it. it wil make a mess of files. this is okay. 3) a window will pop up. click the very bottom left one. 4) then click the center one, which looks exactly like the one you pressed before. 5) installation finishes INSTALLING THE ENGLISH PATCH 1) go into the english patch folder 2) click on SCpatch.exe and press "PATCH" 3) thats it. HACKING THE GAME TO UNLOCK ALL CG'S 1) go into the silver save folder 2) take the file from there using CUT [the SYSTEM.BIN file] 3) go to where the game was installed [into Your Documents under VividCOlor by default] 4) go into the SAVE folder 5) replace the SYSTEM.BIN file. that is all. 6) beat the game once and a bonus item appears on the start menu, called EXTRAS. all CG's are now unlocked. Hello Yaoi of Insanity, If you're using Daemon, it will exactly do as you described, process it like it's uploading the setup but then nothing. Daemon doesn't work on IMG files. At least not the version I am using. Use MagicDisc instead. This is the version I have. Once you've installed MagicDisc, double click it's icon on your desktop. If you're using vista or 7 like me, a pop up menu will ask you permission to go ahead. Click "Yes." Now an icon of MagicDisc placed itself on the taskbar (short of like with quick atlas). You need to right click the MagicDisc icon in the taskbar. Head to Virtual CD/DVD Rom and the disk drive (which acts as a virtual disk drive (duh to myself, lol.) will open, slide to that (will show as "No Media") then follow it's arrow and choose "mount" Mount the "maid" IMG file (not the CUE file). System will auto ask you to run "BOOT.EXE" with a pink rose icon. That is the setup exe. Run it and install and "tada!" Maid Hajimemashita has been successfully installed. If it still confuses a lot of people (since I'm dead tired right now and my eyes are starting to see doubles.. *shakes head*) I can make an installation guide for this, including how to incorporate AGTH but that is likely to happen on tuesday. P.S. Don't forget to unmount the IMG file afterwards. XD P.S.S. If when you slide from virtual CD/DVD-ROM and 'no drive is available' shows or something other than 'no media' , you need to go to "set number of drives". Slide and choose "1 Drive". This happens most likely if your laptop doesn't come with an internal CD-DVD drive reader. (like mine.) Again, sorry for the grammar mistakes. I am too tired...so tired....lol. Hope it helps! XD
