First of all; don't get afraid because of this picture, it isn't as hard as it might seem! The picture above shows 80 kanji from JLPT level 4 (the "easiest" and very common kanji). They include number 1-10, kanjis used to form the word for a day(ex. saturday is made up by the kanji for soil and the kanji for sun), positions and more. Before anything, one should know how to write a kanji. The rules are basically as in hiragana or katakana; you write up -> down and left -> right. Here are some examples; ... There will be more to come! People may come with suggestions and requests!4 points

Memories stored within this vessel Some from me some from others … not yet known Best kept buried …left alone Ones caught in glimpses with my craft Pointed out …by those that see Why I can’t sleep or swallow to eat My darkness within …like the tempest sea …thundering behind my eyes …crashing behind my ribs Trying to tear me down …split me open Electric storms ignite my mind Visions… …in the light of day …or deepest night Revealed … beyond the wall of dream Drowned by the abyss within Blood and pain Swirling around the edge of reason Tormenting …still… …dive deeper Enveloped by the dark …free of thought …free of the tide And there a frail light flickers... Drawn by the warmth of its promise A calmness begins to spread A seal cracks … don’t be afraid Doorway in my mind unlatched … open me Soul laid bare …free to fly among them… … Pandora …4 points

Okay, now I'll explain something which is really easy to be remembered. In the Japanese we have two different readings on the kanji. The one of them is called "kun yomi" (くんよみ) which is the Japanese reading. The other reading is called "on yomi" (オンョミ) which is the Chinese reading. To understand it better I'll give few examples and will explain everything. Let's take the kanji for child "ko(こ)" (子). When you want to say "a girl" you will use "kun yomi" and it'll look like that: 女の子(おんあのこ{onna no ko}). ["Onna" (女) is the kani for woman.] And now,if you want to say "a student girl", you won't use "kun yomi",but "on yomi". Here: 女子学生 (じょしがくせい{joshigakusei}). But you can see that "onna" is also with its "on" reading. Talking about the kanji for woman,I'll give you examples and with it. The "kun" reading is "onna" (おんあ),but the "on" reading is "jo" (ジョ). Example: a woman (女{おんあ} 女の人{おんあのひと}). It can be said in two different ways as you can see: "onna" and "onna no hito". Now,when you want to say "she" you won't use "onna",but "jo". Here: "かのじょ”. Hope you understood it. If anyone have questions feel free to ask. ^^3 points

KATAKANA So here is the other Japanese alphabet, Katakana. Don't worry, Saga checked this for mistakes. Things you should know about katakana: Katakana is used for foreign words in the Japanese language. For example, the english word ring (ringu in romaji) is written in katakana, not kanji or hiragana. It has pretty much the same rules as Hiragana, just different characters. KATAKANA SYMBOLS (click on each character to see the order of writing it down) Vowels K S T N H M Y R W N There is no katakana song on youtube it seems, so here is both alphabets. It's also dependent on the meaning of the word you're trying to write. How you pronounce a kanji is dependant on what follows it. Let's take 水 as an example; By itself, the kanji 水 is pronounced mizu, but together with another kanji it's pronounced "sui" as in "suiyoubi" 水よ日 (wednesday). I think we should go through a couple of kanji together, let's start with the numbers 一 いち one 二 に two 三 さん three 四 よん four 五 ご five 六 ろく six 七 しち、なな seven 八 はち eight 九 きゅう、 く nine 十 じゅう ten3 points

Before any writing you need to know basic alphabet or structure of language you are try to learn. Korean(한글han-gul) has 14 consonants(자음ja-eum) and 10 vowels(모음mo-eum). First, let us know what 14 consonants are. ㄱ(기역gi-yeog) ㄴ(니은 ni-eun) ㄷ(디귿 di-geud) ㄹ(리을 li-eul) ㅁ(미음 mi-eum) ㅂ(비읍 bi-eub) ㅅ(시옷 si-od) end written sound is S but coming out sound is D. ㅇ(이응 i-eung) ㅈ(지읒 ji-eud) end written sound is J but coming out sound is D ㅊ(치읓 chi-eud) end written sound is CH but coming out sound is D. ㅋ(키읔 ki-eug) end written sound is K but coming out sound is G. ㅌ(티읕 ti-eud) end written sound is T but coming out sound is D. ㅍ(피읖 pi-eub) end written sound is P but coming out sound is B. ㅎ(히잏 hi-eud) end written sound is H but coming out sound is D. With this there are double up one… for sound just ad Ssang in front. ㄲ(쌍기역 Ssang-gi-yeog) ㄸ(쌍디귿 Ssang-di-geud) ㅃ(쌍비읍 Ssang-bi-eub) ㅆ(쌍시옷 Ssang-si-od) ㅉ(쌍지읒 Ssang-ji-eud) And there is some consonants go together. This is most used in under. This one I will give you few examples. ㄳ – 삯(Saks) – wages ㄵ – 앉아(Anja) – Sit down ㄶ – 많이(Manhi) – a lot ㄻ – 닮았다 (Dalmassda) – looks like it ㄾ – 핥다(Haltda) - lick ㅄ – 밥값 (Babgabs) – meal price or money for meal But, same as English with out vowels consonants doesn’t make any words. So now let learn about 10 vowels. ㅏ(a) ㅑ(ya) ㅓ(eo) ㅕ(yeo) ㅗ(o) ㅛ(yo) ㅜ(woo / u) ㅠ(yoo / yu) ㅡ(eu) ㅣ(i) This vowels also mix together to work. ㅐ(ae) ㅒ(yae) ㅔ(e) ㅖ(ye) ㅘ(wa) ㅙ(wae) ㅚ(oe) ㅝ(wo) ㅞ(we) ㅟ(wi) ㅢ(ui) These are the most basic you need to know before structuring into word... Some people said Korean is most scientific language in the world. The building structure of Korean isn’t easy, but long as you know how to put consonants and vowels together it will be easy to put together. And the sound of the word will not change much at all... So what you write is what you get. So let built up some word. First, let use first consonant and vowel together. 가(ga) – Go! Even just one consonant and one vowel together made into the word. There are many other... Like 나(na) – I or Me, 다(da) – Everything, 라(la) – sound La, 마(ma) – it’s some kind of root veggie, 바(ba) – Bar, 사(sa) – Four, 아(a) – Ah, 자(ja) – Ruler, Go to sleep! 차(cha) – Car, 파(pa) – Dig or sound Fa, 하(ha) – laugh sound Ha Like this... even one work also could have many meaning. Also, you could put other consonant under this single word. 각(gak) – angle or each I will stop here for today. I don’t want you to over work on from first lesson. ^^ Next lesson will be making word with ㄱ as first letter... If you have any question on lesson or any word you want to know or make just ask. And for the lesson... because of my health I only can do one or two for a week or even less... --;; Sorry about that but, I will answer any question with or with out lesson soon as I can... Also, if you have any request on lesson let me know... I will try to do that also... So please remember this is only me doing it... you can also work along with me... ^^2 points

@YLover... first you have to know what you call husband or wife... For telling other... wife-아내(A-nae), husband-남편(Nam-pyeon) But, calling each other is most common is 여보(Yeo-bo)... If you are newly... call 자기(Ja-gi)... But now day most of them just go for nickname... Like honey, sweety or just name of person... So now for conversation part... For husband who come home... "다녀왔어!"(Da-nyeo-What-eo!) - this is for newly. Saying I am home... Most older people go... "나 왔소!"(Na What-so!)... Newly wife should said... "잘 갔다왔어!(Jar gat-da-what-seo!)" or "수고했어!(Soo-go-haet-a!)" First one is "Welcome back!" and next one is "Good work!" For the older wife said... "잘 다녀오셨어요!(Jar Da-nyeo-o-syeot-seo-yo!)" or "수고하셨습니다!(Soo-go-ha-syeot-seub-ni-da!)" If you want to add husband and wife in the conversation... Just put 자기 or 여보 in front of all the conversation. "자기, 다녀왔어!"(Ja-gi, da-nyeo-what-seo!) "여보, 수고하셨습니다!"(Yeo-bo, soo-go-ha-syeot-seub-ni-da!) I hope this help little... But, best will be if you give me what you really want to said... Then, I can translate into Korean... ^^2 points

After some talk with Saga, we decided to create a new forum section about Asia. We wanted the forum to be better structured. In the first part, Asian Interest Check, any user can post interesting, funny facts, articles or news about any Asian country. You can inspire from other sources, but don't copy-paste the articles not to have complaints from the original author. In the second section, Asian Languages Learning Center, users knowing the 3 languages listed (Japanese, Korean, Chinese) can offer short 'lessons' to help other users who want to learn those languages. As for the 3rd and 4th parts, we wanted to separate the Asian music and dramas from the international ones. The topics about international music and movies will remain in the Non-Yaoi Talk and the Asia-related ones will be moved in the Asia Corner. NOTE: Points will be given for the posts in the first 2 sections, Asian Interest Check and Asian Languages Learning Center. Also, those who will post articles or language lessons, will receive an additional 500 points for every new thread. I'll make a thread where the authors can request the points for their articles/lessons.2 points

I we found a word like... boon (minute), then how we say (speak) it.. is it become "bun" or boon (like usual with long "o") cause if it Eng if we found a word with same vowels like ee it becomes i, oo becomes u.... how about in Korean language? I hope you undertand what I mean hama-san... ^^;;;2 points

the clamor for DaiMao to be recast as TakuGii in a sixth movie is very high amongst the fans. they were so convincing that you cannot even imagine anyone else replacing them. but then again a sixth movie is still highly debatable whether this will become a reality or not. the newest Takumi-kun novel however reveals a Misu x Shingyouji story. so there is a likelihood that IF a sixth movie were to be made, it would be about MisuShin. the Pure movie proved how successful and effective the BabaTaiki pairing and we cannot imagine anyone else portraying those roles than them alone. they have already expressed that they are okay with doing that again since they enjoyed working with each other so much. as for DaiMao, they have expressed that TK5 is their last as TakuGii. that's why they gave it their all in this movie. it's really beautiful since it follows and focuses on their love story as it did back in Bibou no Detail. i didn't really cry from watching TK5. I did cry in Pure, Bibou no Detail and Niji-iro Garasu. for me Takumi-kun 5 is a celebration of looking forward to the future of TakuGii. it looks very bright for both of them. so yeah, that's my opinion.2 points

ok so i watch the 5th movie. didn't know what the hell was going on or what they where say but i think i got the gist of it and at the end i ended up crying like a blubbering fool. it was good so good. and i'm sure even better with sub titles. does anyone know how long it takes to get it subbed because it's driving me nuts. words can't explain how much i felt for the characters...and i'm sure once i've seen it subbed i'll be able to describe it a little...i could feel the love and the hate and the hurt and the longing...it was truly amazing. i feel so moved right now...the part where they where in takumi's room and i think he was telling gii off....hamao's performance just blew me out of the water and i had tears.... i don't know what else i can say about this movie and the whole series....i know you all feel the same...so i'm glad i don't have to say much... if there is a 6th movie down the road sometime i hope that they pick hamao and daisuke for the parts cuz i really dont think it would be the same with someone else playing the roles....i'm sure some agree...they blew the parts right out of the water really did the movie justice... (so many spelling mistakes so excited i don't really care) i don't know what else to say...if anyone has anything to ask me about...my opinion...i'll give what i can...or just talk about a scene they like and what i thought about it i love too... i have never read the manga before....but i'm touched, moved and greatful for these series of movie. you never know i might start my own fan fic...not the best at it but can't know until i try right. please reply if you want...don't have to, totally up to you. well it's off to bed for me until tomorrow good night all.. (don't even know if i can sleep now) chow2 points

funny enough I first saw Mao in Goseiger long before I ever saw Takumi-kun. I thought he was really cute and adorable but at the time I have to say my focus was on Yudai (Gosei Red) because I had just finished watching the Ouran High School Host Club drama where I absolutely loved him. So of course my main focus was really on him. I'm planning on watching Goseiger again to focus a little more on Mao...I saw the 199 hero movie where he and the other Goseigers returned and I was very impressed at how different the characters were and how he was able to portray them soooooo well. I'm a Toku fan aswell and I have to say the same thing For Dai who I recently saw in the Ultraman Mebius series where he wasn't as cool a character as Gii personality wise. He was a bit more outgoing and I loved him. The same now goes now for Baba. We all know that Misu isn't one to exactly show his emotions (or smile very often unless its because of Shingyouji). He is quite the opposite in his role as Blue Buster, and he smiles sooooo much. It's quite funny because the main three have been physically enhanced but each given a weakness. Red's is he freezes up when he sees a chicken. Yellow has to constantly eat candy or she looses all her energy. Baba's is that he has to keep himself cooled and can't overwork himself or he'll shutdown. I'm loving Baba so far.1 point

Nigai looked at him and blinked then his eyes went very wide. Blushing bright red he turned his face away, "Wh-what?! I um... This... Um..." His heart started to thump in his chest. He was getting too much into this and it was all Will's fault! His hand was shaking but never let go of James' hand. Obviously Will wasn't about to let him let go.1 point
-
Nigai swallowed hard feeling his chest tighten, "it just feels strange after tell you about Will's feelings." It was true. He felt like he was kind of ruining what Will wanted but then his hand tightened on James's and hid hand didn't want to let go. It was then he realized Will was inside him. He shivered and titled his head slightly wanting to yell at Will and flail his arms about to try to get him out but right now he couldn't. He was stuck holding this mans hand.1 point

A trace. Leaving the house early again, do you want me to follow you somewhere else? Asking for more, or just afraid to said "It's enough"? Leaving without a trace, what do you want me to think this time? Should I start to cry again, or to sit and wait for you to come back tonight? Do you try to play dirty games? Or just want to see when will I stop, when will I stop follow you like a good dog. I wonder why, why do you disappear when the sun rise, and come back at the night? Do you hide something again? Nobody knows you like I do, and after all you're still that mysterious every time. Please leave a trace, that will help me understand, that will let me know you better now, now - when we already did so many things, now - when you said 'I love you' so many times. Please leave a little sign, a little sign on the sky, where I'll be able to find, to find the trace.1 point
