I love The Royal Fiance so much!!!!! The story is so sweet & romantic, from unrequited love, arranged marriage, forceful making love, loyalty to the husband & in the end the blooming of love....I never tired to read this manga over & over again.... Especially the last chapter is soooo sweeetttttt....when Kairi avoiding Shou for 3 weeks!!!! Shou thought he makes a mistake until Kairi doing something like that, but actually it's because Kairi too amazed every time he woke up in the morning & saw Shou lying besides him..... Oh gosh my heart pounding so fast, even I just remember that part!!!! The sweetest confession after that is Kairi said this "Shou please stop, I'm sorry....I can't take this anymore,my heart is so full,it hurts & it's make me want to cry" & Shou really surprise after Kairi said that... Then Shou said if it called "Extremely happy".... I thought I have to learn more about it right now...^^;; Hum, I thought use a girl as a men is good too, but I thought it's good if they became an uke. Not just the 80s, hana-chan...we're talking hundreds of years ago. There are already literatures in Japan that talks about the love between two men. It's actually even part of being samurai. I was a bit surprised too when I watched the movie the first time although I was already suspecting something but after reading the behind-the-scenes articles about the movie, I cannot help but feel just the same. I think they did a very splendid job. There is a theater troupe in Japan that comprises ONLY of women and they portray a lot of musicals and stage plays. All the roles of the men are portrayed by women. It is very popular. The director of Summer Vacation 1999 wanted to adapt that in the movie, that's why all the actors are women. He said casting girls in a BL movie adds a bit of angel quality to it because they are so androgynous. oh who knew, huh? Well that is a BIG PLUS that they already worked together in the past and they get along just fine. This kind of chemistry really is very helpful in being cast together in something as sensitive as a BL movie. They do look cute together. Shota's really has a cutie smile. OMG! Hama-san the image you posted of Baba-chan. All I could focus was...WHY IS HE HOLDING HIS HAND LIKE THAT??? KYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!! I admit I went crazy a bit. LOL. Thanks Hama I knew about Gekiatsu〜Midsummer Etude, but i only recognized Baba, Shota and Toshi (Momo in Tenimyu). Same for Local Boys, i only recognized Shota and Baba. Shota has the mouth, Baba has the cheeks. Easy to recognize them. I know those youtube videos. The one with a group is too long. Pratically, i've watched all videos i found in youtube for Shota's name in japanese or roman letters that weren't related to tenimyu. By the way, is Voyage with Daisuke and Shota a scientific fiction movie?

It's hard to find information in english about stage plays without DVD. I was hoping that you knew a few names. I never saw Arai and Shota together, but maybe i just couldn't identify Arai in images. Impossible to not identify Shota with his mouth XD There is a japanese movie (Love to rain) that will be out this week and Kimeru is in it. I didn't recognize him before seeing his name.
