Chapter 1 - The begging(Part 3) "Hey,Nara-kun..where did you go?I was worried..." Masato said,patted his friend's head. "I had a phone call." Narayama smiled,shaking his cell phone.Of course it was lie,but he hoped that Masato wouldn't notice. "Really?Let me check,then?" Masato smirked,trying to take Hitoshi's phone,but the boy stepped back. "No!I mean..you don't need to.Don't you believe me?" the boy tried to make the most innocent look,which he could,but it wasn't the reason which saved him. Masato's cell phone rang.He frowned,but after all,answered. "Yeah?What's up?" "You can't believe who is fighting,right now with your band..." a man voice chuckled. "Eh? What that supposed to mean?Why is my band fighting again?Didn't I told you,idiots?Do not fight again!!" Masato yelled. "They couldn't resist,because it's Sano Ichiro who is fighting with them." the other male answered. "WHAT??Say it again?!" Masato couldn't believe in the other male's words.Was that true? Was that possible? "Yeah,Sano Ichoro.You heard me right...Now,can you come here,because the fight is really serious.Amane and Hirata are already on their limits?" "I'm coming!Where are you right now?" Masato couldn't think at all right now.The only thing in his head was that Sano is fighting,right now with his band. "In the usual place,oh and...I'm..." before to finish his sentence,someone grabbed his phone. "Yo,Watanabe Masato-san.You'll come here,right? I'll be waiting."after these words,the call ended. "OI! Bastard!!" Masato yelled again.He knew that it was Sano.He looked at his phone,then at the other around him.Everyone in the pub were looking at him,but he didn't really care about it. "I'm leaving." he said,without even saying why or what happened.Just ran through the door. Narayama couldn't believe what just happened.He didn't think too much and ran after Masato,but the other boys didn't. No matter how hard Hitoshi tried to follow Masato in the end he lost him. "DAMN!What should I do now??" he tried to calm himself,thinking for the best decision,but at least he couldn't think anything. It was already midnight.Masato just arrived on the place where he had to,but...no one was there.The only thing which he could see were few knives and drops of blood on the ground. "WHAT THE HELL???" he hit the wall next to hit,but a few seconds ago his cell phone rang again. "Yeah?" Masato answered. "I'm sorry Masato-san the police came and we had to run.Don't be angry,okay? Oh and don't worry about that bastard Sano.He is half dead,so he will remember to not fight with us again." the same man's voice with who Masato talked few hours ago called him again. -At he same time on one of the bus stops- "Shit...I'll kill Masato when I see him tomorrow.." Narayama was mumbling while he was walking to his house. Just when he lift his head,he saw a young boy,sitting on the ground,next to a bus stop. "SANO-KUN!" he screamed,seeing his classmate half dead there.He ran fast to him and what to see - Ichiro was pass out and his head was bleeding. "Oi,Sano!Sano! Can you hear me?" Narayame called the other's name,hoping that he will come conscious. "Mm...?" Sano opened slowly his eyes and saw Hitoshi. "You...came to -cough- kill -cough- me...or...?" he couldn't see properly,but he remembered that the other was friend with Masato. "What are you talking about?Come on,can you stand up?I'll help you.." Narayama smiled,grabbing Sano's hand and helping him to stand up. "Now,put your hand on my shoulder." he continued to talk,starting to walk slowly.

Chapter 2 - The worst night in my life. Thanks god,that Narayama was living nearby the bus stop.The both with Sano were finally in front of one small house. Hitoshi took his keys and opened the door. "We arrived.Do you want to take shower or something?" he asked Sano,while putting him on the sofa in the living room. Sano lifted his head to see the other male,frowning; "Why did you help me?Aren't you one of Masato's dogs?" he asked,without even understanding that Hitoshi don't know anything. "What are you talking about?" he blinked several time,trying to understand what was Sano talking about. "Oh yeah,now you're trying to be innocent? Come on,don't you know that I was fighting with Masato's band?" Sano chuckled,but felt a pain in his chest and squeezed his shirt. "Eh? Wait,wait...What do you mean?Masato's band?Look I don't know what do you mean,but let's do not talk about that now." Narayama,took off Sano's shirt,but when he saw the bruising on his chest,he just couldn't believe it.At least there weren't serious wounds. "Oi,oi why are you strip...." before to continue his sentence,Narayama grabbed his hand and went with him in the bathroom. "Go and take shower...After that we will talk again." he said throwing a towel to the other. Sano understood that no matter what he was saying,Nara wouldn't listen to him.He just went to the bathroom.He let the water to run down,to his hair,neck,chest,while thinking about what happened tonight. "Damn..." he mumbled,lifting his head up.The water ran to his face and then continued again down to his body. After he took a shower Sano went back to the living room.He sniffed food and instantly went to the kitchen,from where was the smell. He couldn't believe in his eyes - Narayama was cooking. "Oi...what are you doing?" Sano asked. "Can't you see? I'm cooking?" Hitoshi chuckled. "No,no..I meant..why do you cook?" Sano asked again. "Because I'm starving maybe?" Hitoshi chuckled again. "Come on,help me with this." he said,pointing one saucepan,on the stove. "And how am I supposed to help you with that thing?" Sano mumbled little annoyed.The truth was that he didn't know anything about cooking and he didn't know what to do with the saucepan. "Oh man,just take it away?" Hitoshi said,preparing other things. When everything was ready the boys had a dinner.The funny thing was that no one was talking to the other,like they were statues.After the dinner,Hitoshi washed the dishes,while Sano was sitting on the sofa,thinking what to do. "Oi Sano,come here for a moment." Hitoshi called him. "What do you want..?" Ichiro mumbled,going to see why Hitoshi is calling him.Narayama was already in the bedroom,searching clothes for Sano. "Take off the towel and put on these clothes." he pointed an shirt and boxers. "They are clear,right?" Sano joked.Narayama hit his head,mumbling: "Of course its cl--..." before to finish,Sano's towel were on the ground. "WHAT THE.."Hitoshi turned back,blushing all over.It wasn't that he didn't see male's naked body before,but just it was awkward. Sano couldn't resist,but started to laugh hysteric.He turned Narayama,grabbing his face and kissing him.After that he continued to laugh.It was just too fun to tease the others. "Man...It was really funny..." Sano said,taking a deep breath. "IDIOT!Why did you kiss me...? Sleep here! I'm going to sleep in the living room.." after these words Narayama leaved the room,slapping down the door. "What a cute boy,he is...no wonder that my brother loved him.." Sano chuckled,dressing himself and laying on the bed.

Finally they entered to the pub.There weren't many people,because it was still early for the adults to come here. "Four cups of sake." Narayama went out for a bit.He liked to be with his friends,but sometimes he needed to be alone.He saw his reflection on the mirrored door.His brown hair,were already to the shoulders.His dark green eyes which weren't typical for an asian guy,were so bright now. No,he already promised that he will start his live again,forgetting about the past,but sometimes it was so difficult. "I love your eyes,you know?" Narayama remembered his lover's words and shivered. No matter that they already broke up,he was still thinking about him. After few minutes he come back the the pub,smiling like nothing happened,but inside his heart was already in peaces and so cold,but still screaming for someone to warm it.

LESSON SIX "Always bite the apple because you don't know what you're going to find under the skin" After a long night, rainy night, gray early morning comes. I comb my hair while looking through the window, sun rays are welcoming the new day. I got into my car, play my favourite song and start to drive. Empty streets greet me and I feel the emptiness in my heart. As I stop at a red traffic light, far at the skyline I see for the first time a rainbow. A beautiful multicolor arch, where everything has its place, where everything in this world is represented. I stop my car, get out and look at it among the gray clouds. "Maybe, one day" I think "behind those gray clouds, on the other side of the rainbow covered by clouds, there'll still be hope for me" Hope is such a great word, so heavy that sometime hurts but that no one must forget that there is always a way..... Sherlock/John from Sherlock Sherlock is unconfirmed but obviously gay, and you can't fault this pairing even if the show only has three episodes. XD Jack/Ianto from Torchwood Canon Pairing. Over time, five of the Six Stars gather as Yasha-ō and Ashura, the first two stars, are joined by Sōma, Ryu-ō and Karura-ō, the other three. A mysterious character who appears and disappears quite regularly, Kujaku, gives them helpful advice, but his nature and intentions are unclear. The gentle and childlike Ashura (who is usually referred to as "he" out of convenience, though some translations use a female pronoun) soon reveals a deadly alter-ego, a youth who delights in death and destruction, but this side remains for the longest time more or less suppressed, also by Ashura's affection for Yasha-ō. Seeking to bring Taishakuten's reign to an end, the Six Stars finally enter Zenmi-jō, Taishakuten's palace. The Six Stars are shocked to discover that the sixth Star, Kendappa-ō, their friend and ally, is among them as Jikokuten, the previously unknown general. Ryuu Putting the file back in order I laid it on the desk. Closing my eyes I rubbed my temples trying to ease the growing headache. “I didn't find anything Isao.” “Me either . . . why didn't they keep some kind of computer record of their kids? It would have made searching for their information so much easier.” Isao had taken his glasses off and was carefully cleaning them. I looked over at the stacks of boxes and sighed. We'd gone through a few before we realized that there was no rhyme or reason to what files had been stored in them. I'd almost given up then, but Isao had went to extraordinary lengths just to get the files for me. Getting up I went to the next box. I frowned seeing a large packet stuffed so full I wasn't sure how it was staying together. Picking it up I turned it over and gasped. In large red letters was the name Yabuki. “Iaso! I think I found it!” “You better not be joking Ito.” “No, look!” I turned holding up the packet which promptly fell apart spilling the contents all over the floor. “Shit.” We both started gathering up the loose papers. Isao let out a small sound and sat down on the floor. “Ryuu . . . look at this . . .” I took the papers from him peering down at the document. I felt my eyes widen. “This . . . this is-” “They emancipated him when the orphanage closed.” “At fourteen! That's-that's-” “Ridiculous?” “Absurd, inhumane . . .” My voice failed me for a moment. “I can't even imagine . . . how could they? Wasn't there any family at all?” “I'm finding letters sent to a Fumiko Yabuki . . . apparently they were all sent back unopened.” “They couldn't contact his family so they just set him loose.” I slumped down holding a hand over my eyes as they stung with unshed tears. “How could anyone be so heartless?” The sound of rustling papers filled the room for several minutes before Isao finally spoke up. “Its actually a lot more common than you think Ryuu. As sad as that is. Hasu's past is not unique . . . where do you think the yakuza get a lot of their members? Or any gang for that matter. Hasu is just fortunate you guys found him when you did . . .” I nodded, wiping my eyes before raising my head. Kenta was a prime example of that as well. “But that doesn't explain what's going on now.” Isao was still sitting on the floor, papers and files scattered around him. He looked as worn as I felt. It was unusual to see the normally serene and calm yakuza accountant so distressed. He kept rearranging the papers even though they were in perfect little piles. As if doing so might somehow reveal new information. He finally stopped and put his hands in his lap. “Well I've got a name and an address. We can start there. I should have something by the end of the week. I hope.” He ran a hand through his hair, sending the careful spikes every which way. “I'll keep in touch with you.” “I'd appreciate that. After last month . . . this is just too much for any of us to handle right now.” “Eh, well we'll have to deal with it one way or another.” He got to his feet and helped me up. I sudden realized I was taller than him by several inches. I'd never noticed before. He'd just always seemed taller for some reason. “You're right. We'll help Hasu get through whatever is going on.” I set about helping him box everything again. Though he insisted we refile everything. It was well after midnight by the time we got done. Hayate had arrived at some point to pick up Isao and had been conscripted into helping as well. I gladly accepted his offer to drive me home. Isao was finishing stacking the last couple of boxes against the wall as Hayate and I discussed the band's upcoming schedule. He was worried about security. As was I. We both started as there was a loud thud. I looked around thinking Isao had dropped a box only to see him sprawled on the floor. “Isao!” Hayate got to him before me, gently turning him over. He was unconscious. I gripped Hayate's arm as panic quickly had me shaking. “Isao! Isao!” “Calm down Ryuu . . . yelling isn't going to help anything.” Hayate was entirely too calm and I felt like hitting him. How could he be so calm holding his unconscious lover? “Have you guys eaten anything in the last few hours.” I sat back staring stupidly at him. “What does that have-” “Ito . . . “ The look in Hayate's eyes stopped me dead. He seemed calm but the hazel eyes were pained. “N-no . . . we were both so intent and I tend to forget to eat anyway . . . why?” “Shit . . . I knew I should have come by earlier.” He scooped up the unconscious man and got to his feet. “Hayate? What's going on? What's wrong with him? Did I do something wrong?” “Easy Ryuu, it's not your fault. The idiot knows he's supposed to eat on a regular schedule.” I stared at him trying to make sense of what he was saying. “Is . . . is he diabetic?” “No. He's anemic and his habit of thinking that cans of coffee make for a meal doesn't help. He'll be fine as soon as he eats. I'm going to kick his ass for this though. He hasn't gotten to the point of passing out in several months and I warned him last time that if it happened again I was going to make sure he regretted it.” “Oh please don't Hayate! It's my fault! I had him looking through all-” Hayate started laughing. “Just open the door for me will you? I need to get him home.” “O-oh . . . alright but I'm staying with you until he wakes up.” I locked the door to the storage room behind us, pocketing the key. The ride to their house was quiet. I held the door as Hayate carried in the comatose Isao. Whatever I'd been expecting of their house, this was not it. It was clean but very obviously lived in. Magazines, books and a laptop graced the coffee table and I scrambled to clean off a few more magazines from the couch so Hayate could lay Isao down. I'd thought Isao's house would be more . . . orderly and less cluttered. Though I supposed that it wasn't all Isao's things, Hayate lived here too after all. “You mind keeping an eye on him while I go get some tea started?” I shook my head. “Of course not.” I got a small tense smile and then he was gone. Sitting on the floor next to the couch I looked around the room as muted clanging sounded from the kitchen. There were books on many different subjects, though the majority of them seemed to revolve around criminology and law with several art reference manuals thrown in. An interesting mix and I wondered which of the two of them had an interest in law and which was the artist. It saddened me to think I'd known them both for nearly 4 years and couldn't answer that question. Was I really that self absorbed? Apparently so. There was a soft groan from the direction of the couch and I whipped around to see Isao trying to sit up. Placing a hand on his shoulder I gently forced him back down. It didn't take much effort. “Lay down.” “What happened? Where are we?” “You passed out. We are at your house.” He slowly opened his eyes, they were glazed and unfocused and he blinked several times. It reminded me a little bit of when I'd finally seen Kenta's mask slip. Isao had always been the aloof accountant, the uptight secretary. Seeing him like this almost seemed wrong somehow, like pulling back the curtain on a magic show. “How are you feeling?” “Like shit.” Came the terse reply. “Yeah well you are going to feel a whole lot worse when I get done with you.” Isao jerked, his eyes widening for a moment at the sound of Hayate's voice. He looked over my head, something unreadable in his eyes as he watched Hayate place the loaded tray on the coffee table. Isao sat up his eyes downcast, his cheeks red. “I'm sorry Hayate . . . I-I just got caught up in my work . . .” “Don't make excuses. I know full well it takes a least a week of you eating poorly before you get to this point. I'm not letting you off this time.” A cup of tea was thrust into my hands, another given to Isao. Getting to my feet I watched Hayate make a small plate of food for Isao, not missing the fact that Isao's hands trembled as he took the plate. Looking down at the pale tea I wished Isao would have said something. I felt like it was my fault for being so insistent. As usual I'd caused someone else trouble. I glanced up in time to see Hayate tenderly kiss Isao. He murmured something I couldn't catch, but Isao went bright red. I suddenly felt very awkward. I knew they'd been a couple for several years, but other than the odd comment or look I'd never seen anything between the two of them to overtly indicate their relationship. To anyone who didn't know they just seemed like very close friends. “I-I should go. I just wanted to make sure you were alright Iesada-san.” “I'm sorry Ryuu. I never meant for this to happen.” He glanced over at me but was intterrupted by the phone ringing. “Who the fuck? It's four in the morning!” Hayate growled as he grabbed up the offending device. He glared at the display before answering it. “Hello . . . yes he's here. As always, Masamune chose the corner seat and order some sake. "Bang -" Slight commotions was aroused at the other corner of the house. Several burly physique men got up to go, as they kicked and topple the chairs and yelled. "Well... Looks like we can’t visit this drinking house anymore. Even the rich are here, what about us? Maybe to the streets?" "Wahahahahaha --!" The man’s companion echoed around and laughed. ! ! ! These people are really…! "Hey! Do you know who are you talking to now? What’s with the rich and poor talk? Don’t rich people eat? Can’t rich people drink? Can’t the rich chat? Don’t the rich sleeps? Aren’t the rich human beings as well!! "Naoki got more and more excited, and his voice got louder and louder, he even did not know what he was saying. She sat down beside Masamune and smile gently, at the same time, she held out an empty glass, signaling him to fill her glass. Masamune did not reply. All he did was filling her cup silently. Who is this lady?? Why is young master listening to her?? Why would young master patronize this sake house so often?? Could it be due to… her?! === === === === === === The next day, Masamune get Naoki to run errands for him while he decided to go out for a stroll. As he walked, he passed by a stall by the road side selling snacks, Masamune naturally sat down at the chairs by the stall. A man who looks like the boss came up to ask for his order. "What’s your recommendation?" "How about trying our signature dish, Daifuku*?" Seeing that Masamune did not reject the idea, the man went behind the stall, and came out with a plate. Masamune did not start eating immediately. He picks up a stick and held one of the Daifuku up, observing it before taking a bite. The boss was watching Masamune as well. Intuitionally, he felt that Masamune isn’t someone simple, hence he didn’t move away, he just stood by Masamune, waiting to accept his praise. Surprisingly, one bite is all that Masamune does. Before he leaves, he puts the Daifuku back to the plate and place the money beside the plate. The boss was puzzled. His stall’s Daifuku is a very well known dish where many come from far just to get a taste of it. But this person… "Excuse me sir... " To clear his doubt, the boss ran after Masamune. "Can I ask, was the taste not suitable for you?" "…" Masamune pause and thought for a while. "Tasteless." === === === === === === Bamboo Garden. Unknowingly, as Masamune stroll, he came to a bamboo garden. Suddenly, he felt the change in the surrounding. He’s not alone. Sure enough, moments later, a group of people appeared and stand in front of him. "Boy, I told you to watch out." It turned out to be those thugs from yesterday. Masamune did not want to have much contact with these people. He looked at them for a second and walked around them to continue his stroll. "Damn." Noticing that Masamune is not taking them seriously, their leader - that guy who spoke yesterday – became very furious. "Get him!" Masamune glance back after hearing them. When he saw them armed with weapons, he knew that he had underestimated them. Unexpectedly, another figure appeared and stood in between of him and the thugs. Even with Masamune’s height of 5 feet 6, he still seems short as compared to the guy infront of him. Facing those thugs calmly, the man slowly retrieves his Wakizashi* from his waist. Not only that, one by one, he defeated those who were preparing to attack Masamune. When those thugs ran away, Shiroyama Izumo kept his Wakizashi immediately. As he wipes the sweat from his forehead, he turned to look at the person who came close to being attacked. Never did he expect to be shocked in that way. He was somewhere nearby when he heard some commotion, so he came to take a look. Of all people, this guy was someone he has never predicted to save… The guy who left the footprints on his back the other day! Masamune looked at those who fled; he shook his head, and began to move forward again. !!! This… This guy!!! He didn’t even bother to say thank you before he leaves?! "You… You ungrateful guy!
