I just finished reading the whole thing and damn, if they don't hire you to write the Misu/Shingyojii movie then they're idiots. Not only did you develop the characters while respecting their past continuity, but you also managed to create a world around them that fit perfectly. I NEED to see Kentaro, Miyagi-San and Shingyojii's grandmother in a movie NOW. And i have to say, the story of Miyagi-san's cousin really hit me, because as gay guy, i feel that fear of being found out very often. To read Miyagi say that not everyone is going to judge me if i were to properly come out is definitely encouraging, so thank you so much for writting that and thank you for submitting one of the best things i've read in a loooooong time

I think it's normal for all BL fans to starve for more and more hot scenes. personally, i think it's the "idealism" in it. female mangaka almost always draw very, very beautiful men (usually the uke characters) and some of them look like women already and then when they draw men usually the seme characters, they look strong, straight and gorgeous. another ideal physical trait for a girl to dream about. it's more like roles we could easily identify with. and believe it or not, the most successful ones are those characters which are drawn to look straight-looking too. then you have the bisexual semes. it's incredibly attractive 'cause it takes you to a place where you wish you could be. everything is so pleasing to the eyes and the mind. and since most of these BL/yaoi literature/artwork is done by women authors, they totally can connect with the female readers since this is where they pour out their dreams, wishes like all of us do without sacrificing so much other than your wallet really since you have to buy the manga, videos, drama CDs, etc.
