Well, when someone says yaoi it pretty much means that there is going to be explicit intimate scenes, not saying the sex in itself will be (in that case it's hard yaoi) or not explicit but it's, at least, fully shown; whereas shounen-ai can be said to be soft yaoi and, for me, it's range goes from merely implying the existence of a couple, to kissing and/or even to soft, partial intimate scenes. While individualy there is no doubt that they are separated by, let's say, intensity, when generaly speaking, a person can refer to either yaoi or shounen-ai to refer to both soft and hard. The concept BL, boys love, in my opinion, it's the best choice to identify the whole of shounen-ai and yaoi, so that it won't be confusing when there's a need to specify which category. (:

Final day of "Rainbow Day 10" Well to day they didn't do any Q&A... But, they had some one special... The screenplay the writer Hiroko Kanasugi-san... ^^ He talk the untold story about "Rainbow Glass" and message to the all the views. - "Rainbow Glass" episode; First detailed hehind the story how that "Rainbow Glass" has been chose. They aready talk about how the "Rainbow Glass" has been created... But, that wasn't all the story... When they start to think about 2nd Takumi-kun series, first thought is with Takumi-kun series story to go for. Most writers, before they star writing the script, they do rough synopsis of the plot (like writting a summary of story line)... Where the fact are "Rainbow Glass" are not only story they had... they also had another candidate (he don't remember there were only these two pieces or more... also the time line between the 1st and 2nd can go too close-that is what they saying not 100%)... After repeated consultations with producers, when they saw Megumi Makoto draw of the "Rainbow Glass" is the story that most bring out what Takumi-kun series all about... That led to the conclusion this might be the one. In fact, when the work was completed, cast, director, everybody in the staff finished with great works He and other thought this episode is really good. The other works that didn't make it... he said he will only secretly made that in his head.... --;;;; That was joke he did... I just hope he don't do that kind of joke again... To everyone - the fans - He never thought they will go for Takumi-kun series 5th... Is all thinks to all the fans warm support and he was thanking for that... Thank you! He keep try not to distorting the original story of Takumi-kun series as possible, but, same time try to put his imaging of the story at same time... For the script meeting there were 3 producer... one woman in it... They had fun doing the meeting... That is part I am not get it... So now is the 9th days of Rainbow... It has been 3 years from first 2nd Takumi-kun movie came out... Time fly so fast... So thay want us to look the movie new way... You know in Takumi-kun movie there are various characters with variety of emotions continue through out the story. When they were filming the emotional scene director Yokoi want the actors to go with the flow of their emotion... So he didn't said "cut" even the scene in done... He just let the actors get their emotion fully out for it... The emotion are not easy to come out just say "action!"... Actors need to go into the deep in the character to bring that emotion out... So it's take time to get there... director Yokoi know that better then any one... That is why I start to like did director... ^^ from that they used some of shot they took time to film in the movie... Next time when you see the movie look for that... ^^ Q&A The soundtrack of Takumi-kun series are not released and for not they are not even thinking about... --;;; And the non-theme song doesn't even have title... --;;;;; So that mean the main theme are the only song they name... And we might never have Takumi-kun OST in CD or MP3 form... I want to hear it... ㅜㅜ The scene Takumi was bulling by classmate just before Gii kiss Takumi openly in classroom, the line was in the script and when they shoting agine and agine... Because of that it really feel that Takumi(Mao-kun) is really bulling by them... --;;; Bulling is bad... well when I first see the scene I thought they were try to do tease Takumi... But... it feel more then tease... so what they said was actually work... It did came out as bulling Takumi... Director Yokoi... you are the master of bring out emotion for acter and audience... So tomorrow is the last day of "the 10-day Rainbow"! Lol while reading all your posts - you were pretty creative xDD So I have to disappoint you all because my creation of the nickname isn't thaaat nice.. xD Here is the looo~~~ng story... Back in my 5th class I was a huge anime fan (especially Inuyasha) and I was always talking about him and so on... so my friends gave me the name "Inu-chan"... And since then everyone is calling me Inu... (without the chan... I must always explain the meaning of it and since a few of my friends do really like Anime/Mangas, a lot others just stopped to use the chan-part - but it's okay like that xDD) Yeah, and then others jut the lain after the Inu (so it would be a replacement for the "chan" and in german it is actually a diminutive (but it's written 'lein' - still it is pronounces as lain...) And I had an horrible period in my life when I liked to write all of ai-pronounces words in german as ai (and not as ei) and where I wrote all l's as L (capital) and where I used for an s a z... and so on... xD But unfortunately the 'lain' part just stayed like that since the pronunciation would change in english (the lein part xD) Yes, that's all. Pretty boring
