*** I left the hospital the next morning with a bag of meds and instructions to not lift anything over ten pounds. Ryuu hadn’t come to see me and not a single person had called or texted me. Looking up at the clear blue sky, the cool November breeze seemed to chill me to the bone. People were coming and going, but I might as well have been part of the scenery for all the attention anyone paid. Fuck, what the hell was wrong with me. I needed to just go home. I had a sudden mental image of Reiko and her telling me never to come back. I must have stumbled or something cause someone grabbed my arm and asked if I was alright. I nodded, trying to say thanks, but nothing came out. I really needed to fucking snap out of it. Ryuu’s apartment wasn’t my home, even if had started to feel like it. I took the bus to my old neighborhood. I got off at the usual stop and stood there for a long moment. Turning away from the stree, I looked up the hill. The neighborhood was even more run down than I remembered, that or I’d gotten too used to luxury penthouses. Though even the neighborhood my apartment was in looked better than this. Businesses were boarded up and abandoned. Trudging up the hill, I kicked trash out of my way. Stopping a narrow alley between two buildings I stared down it. This was it. The path I’d used to take home from middle school. It was dirty and dark just like I remembered, just with more graffiti and a stronger shit smell. I felt like I was walking down a tunnel that was slowly dragging me into the past. Stopping at the narrow crumbling steps that led down to the entry to the abandoned building I tried to decide if this was a good idea. Rame was one unforgiving bastard. He’d never stop harassing me as long as both of us were still alive. I sighed, rubbing a hand across my forehead. If I'd just told Reiko what was going on I would have had the whole picture right off. I’d just been so scared that Ryuu would panic knowing that someone was stalking the band. I should have just risked Ryuu's hysterics and told them. It wasn't worth all this pain. Hearing Reiko say my name I looked down, clearing my throat so I could speak. "I'll see what I can do." Shutting the phone I glanced back at the apartment building. If Rame was out there, I would find him. No one hurt the people I loved and lived to regret it.

I couldn’t leave him, not when he was hurting like this. I didn’t really want to go to work. I still had the rest of the week off and had been planning on spending most of it with Ryuu. “Okay. Stayin’ but you gotta tell me what’s wrong.” He nodded slowly. “Fine, but I’m going to need a drink to get through this.” Once he had his glass of wine and was settled down I sat next to him on the bed. “This is kind of a long story, but I think you need to know what happened with Sora and I.” Him and Sora? I thought this was about his ex. “You said you and Sora never-“ “Kenta . . . if I’m going to tell you, you need to just shut up and listen alright.” I glared for a moment but couldn’t put any real heat behind it. Most people were really nice. Some of them got a bit nasty cause Sora and I obviously are not fully Japanese, but we usually just laughed it off and went on. One night we went to one of our regular clubs. There was a group of guys from the University there but we didn’t think anything of it. I remember now that they were from the soccer team. Anyway, Sora and I were at the bar talking with the manager when one of them comes up to me. He seemed to think I was a girl. I played along for a little bit, even though Sora told me not to. I should have listened to him. I would do anything to go back and change what happened. “Anyway . . . I went to go use the bathroom while Sora made some phone calls. It was no wonder Sora was so sensitive about certain things, especially when it came to Hasu or Ryuu. How could he be so calm and relaxed all the time? It had taken me months to quit looking over my shoulder all the time after I got out of juvie and I had escaped the worst of what could have happened. Five guys. Holy shit. I had to find who was fucking with the band and now. I was not going to let any fucking thing ever fucking happen to any of them ever fucking again. I’d kill someone first.

On a medical point of view..I think it is completely unnecessary. There is a reason why men have male parts and why women have female parts. When you alter the anatomy, things are bound to get really messed up BIG TIME! You have a whole range of maintenance drugs, repairs and psychiatrist appointments. And when you really analyze it, the whole change only happened at a superficial level. Why? Because STILL the guy cannot get pregnant. You can alter the sex organs but you can't swap the reproductive process. That's the difference. I know of someone who had this radical surgery and he looks like a dude. The kind of dude who does heavy manual labor types. He looks nothing like someone you'd expect who looks like a woman. He told me that he couldn't do it anymore because it was so expensive being a woman. And he couldn't pee normally either. He walks around with a catheter stuck to his body. I actually worried about him. But the deed is done and he can't reverse the process anymore.
