Yumro stood in the kitchen holding the chicken, staring at it as if it might suddenly provide instructions on what to do next. "Now what?" he muttered. Would it just run off if he put it outside, or stay nearby? Get eaten by something? He had no idea. The bird didn't off anything for help. After a moment, he sighed and took it back to the cage Haru had originally brought it in. At least there it couldn't wander off and cause trouble. The next few hours passed peacefully. They sat around the kitchen island talking about everything and nothing at all. Stories, random conversations about whatever came to mind. It was surprisingly easy. After everything that had happened, simply sitting together and enjoying each other's company felt nice. There were still awkward moments here and there, but they were becoming fewer and farther between. Little by little, they were learning how to be around one another again. The peaceful atmosphere was broken when the front door suddenly opened. Shan stepped inside carrying a backpack over one shoulder in his school uniform. He took one look into the kitchen and froze. His eyes widened, and then he let out an excited squeal. "HARU!" Before anyone could react, he bolted across the room and threw himself at Haru for a hug. "Haru, you're back! How was the trip? Did you bring anything back? Wait—sorry! You're hurt!" Shan immediately loosened his grip and stepped back. "My bad. Wow, your face! What happened to your face? And your arm??" His gaze traveled upward. "Wait... did you get taller? I swear you got taller. Did you grow bigger than me while you were gone?" The questions came so quickly that there wasn't even a second for Haru to answer. Then Shan noticed the cage sitting on the floor. "Oh!" He crouched down beside it. "Hello there." The chick stayed as it was, not moving at all. Shan tilted his head. "Did you get another small creature?" he asked, looking back at Haru. "I've been taking good care of your collection, by the way." He straightened again. "Oh! And that orange plant thing? The weird one with the fuzzy leaves? It started blooming a few days ago." His grin widened. "The flowers are really pretty." --- Back at school, Julius had finally finished the last of his classes for the day. Rather than heading home immediately or to the office, he slipped into the greenhouse garden between the two main buildings. The greenhouse had already been locked for the afternoon. Only teachers and a handful of approved students were allowed inside after school hours. Part of that was because of Yukie's donations. Several of the plants he had provided were fascinating additions to the greenhouse, but some were also dangerous. Curious younger students had a habit of ignoring warning signs and crossing restricted areas whenever they thought nobody was watching. During school hours, there were always enough adults and older students around to prevent accidents. After hours, however, the staff preferred not to take chances. Julius sighed quietly to himself. The greenhouse was one of the few places on campus where he could truly relax. He stretched out on one of the benches, folding an arm across his face to block the late afternoon sunlight. His eyes drifted shut. The air was warm and humid. The scents surrounding him blended together into something comforting. The smell of fresh herbs, damp soil, flower petals, and the faint sticky sweetness of plant sap. For the first time all day, he felt his shoulders loosen. The exhaustion he'd been ignoring finally caught up to him. His limbs grew heavy. His muscles relaxed one by one. It felt as though gravity itself had increased, gently pressing him deeper into the bench. The sounds of the greenhouse faded into the background. The distant hum of ventilation fans, the rustle of leaves shifting in the breeze, the occasional drip of water somewhere nearby. Sleep tugged at him. Yukie took a moment to himself. Yumros words hit him hard and opened up many raw feelings that he didn’t know could ache inside of him. The family he had found and made was different than the one he had grown up in. It was hard for him to see outside of it sometimes but here and now in this moment he wanted that olive branch….he wanted this family…wanted the one he had always had before him the one that had wanted him even when he had been so horrible to them. The feelings he felt hurt in the most beautiful way, a bittersweet sadness consumed him. Letting out a small shaky breath Yukie looked away from Yumro and walked away to take a moment to himself. Looking out in the yard Yukie steadied himself and his emotions pushing them aside as he went to the door and let himself in the scene before him amusing as the small chicken ran around. — “It won’t need a lot of space till it molts in the spring.” Haru stated as he picked up the small leggy chicken and fixed the clad on the tent on top of it. “Its name is nugget.” Haru informed Yumro as he frowned at the thought of asking Julius not sure if he would be allowed such a pet. ”I’m sure it’s fine.” Yukie stated as he looked at Yumro and chuckled a little. “It’s not like it’s noisy…just energetic.” Yukie added as he looked at Haru now who let the chicken down the bird immediately trying to squeeze into a house plants pot to nest. ”I don’t mind it, but it’s not allowed to tear up my plants.” Haruhi explained as he picked up the bird awkwardly and handed it to Yumro to deal with and contained as he set out more tea and Yukie sat down taking his time to savor his cup and rest.

Cody blinks and slowly nods his head, "well... since we will be dating now, I guess... we both need to get pass it... huh," he rubs his arm a little while blushing. Cody looks at Adrian and tilts his head, ~friend? Is he... talking about Cory?~ Cody blushes and laughs a little, "o-of course you wouldn't," he blushes and reaches down, rubbing Adrian's crotch a little.

This cd drama was amazing 🔥 🥵 usually Narifumi is so posed and in control... the seiyuu did an amazing work on this one. I love when a composed seme goes all whimpery and desperate. Specially Narifumi, hearing him cumming like crazy when being told "I love you" from Reo was just peak yaoi I never coment much on cd dramas but damn this one was special

Having said his piece, Yumro allowed Yukie to leave if that was what he truly wanted. --- The glass door slid open with a soft hiss, and Yumro stepped inside a few moments behind Yukie. Moving past him, he headed toward the others gathered in the living room. His attention quickly fell on the newest addition to the household. A tiny chick stood proudly beside Haru, who was enthusiastically showing it off to everyone within sight. Yumro raised an eyebrow before shaking his head in amused resignation. Haru was a good kid. Kind-hearted, curious, and endlessly fascinated by strange creatures. Yumro sincerely hoped that part of him would never change. The habit of bringing every unusual animal he encountered home, however, was another matter entirely. Though, considering Yukie had mentioned a gift, Yumro suspected this particular creature was less Haru's doing and more the work of an indulgent grandparent spoiling his grandson. "It's a good thing I bought half a forest for our backyard," Yumro remarked, a smile tugging at the corner of his mouth. Yumro crossing his arms. "But you'll have to clear it with the school's headmaster first, before you start bringing it to school." Yumro chuckled. "Although I don't imagine that'll be too difficult if you play your cards right." Yumro nodded toward Yukie. "Considering he's dating your grandpa, I'd say you've already got an advantage."
