Asta was pulled out of his thoughts when he heard Leon's question. The task itself was relatively simple, but...they had never taken a bath together. His boyfriend proposed the idea as if it was normal, natural. It always drove him crazy how Leon was cable of keeping his composure while saying such wild things. "I..I uh–" [ “After being stuck in the car all day, it’d probably feel nice to relax.” ] Yeah right! How could he possibly relax being naked in a bath with Leon?! Asta sighed, about to pull away, to put his attention anywhere else that wasn't the bath tube, but without warning, Leon stood in his path, closing the distance and cupping his face. His touch was so gentle that it nearly broke through Asta's facade. He blushed, biting his bottom lip again in an effort to control himself but to his suprise, Leon freed his trapped lip, catching his gaze. [ “Now where did your mind just go, Sunshine?”] Sunshine? Had he always been that? He liked it...he liked any cute pet name he gave him. "n-no where.." He lied. Leon continued to press him. Tease him. Practically taunting him! He didn't care if Fang and Sora saw them kissing. They were well aware of their relationship, but before he could answer he found himself being pressed up against the wall, Leon trapping him, like a scene in a high-school anime. Their eyes locked, and Asta saw something shift in Leon’s eyes. He looked at him with desire...his gaze was intense, and if he continue to look at him like that any longer, well.... "l-leon.." He bit his lip again, fingers gripping the bottom of his shirt. This wasn't the time...they just got here! [“You’re making this very difficult for me, Sunshine,” ] "M-me?! Your the one w-who...w..who..." He lowered his gaze, all Leon had to do was run his thumb across his cheek for Asta to start fumbling over his words. Their noses touched, as he teased him more. [“You get this look when your imagination starts running wild,”] Leon chuckled, but Asta was struggling to think straight. All he could think about was how close Leon was. How there lips were almost touching. ( I want to kiss him...) [“I should probably collect some beforehand,”] Leon's voice came in a whisper, but his kiss was slow, methodical, addicting, pulling him in. The kiss only lasted about a minute, maybe less. But it left Asta yearning for more when he felt Leon pull away. A soft sound of protest escaped his lips, leaning in - as if chasing after Leon's lips.... but Asta caught himself, and created a little space between their faces. He could feel Leon's breath ghosting across his lips even after the kiss had ended. He wanted more... ["You taste addictive."] ( This man. ) This ridiculously flirtatious, wonderful, loving man who had swept him off his feet—literally, earlier—and kissed him like he had all the time in the world, only to pull back and tell him they couldn't stay up here. Knowing full well he started all this! ( Jerk! You did that on purpose. ) He frowned. [ "As tempting as that sounds."] Asta's throat tightened. He loved Leon. That realization wasn't new—but it hit him differently now, standing in this room with an ocean view, and with Leon's body still close enough to touch. It hit him like a wave, like the ones crashing against the shore. How could one kiss...ever be enough? No one...had ever made him feel this way. ( I love him. I love him so much it scares me.) Leon was pointing at him now, teasing him and reminding him to text his mom, using practical excuses to create distance between them. And Asta understood it, Leon was trying to be good. But Asta didn't want him to be good right now. He wanted him to be close. Leon had this natural ability to overwhelm him in the best of ways.. even now.. he was still finding new ways to leave him speechless. "..fine," he muttered, sulking. The jacuzzi / bath could wait. He could wait... ______________________ As Fang worked the grill he sensed a familiar gaze watching him. Sora sat nearby, chin in his palm, eyes following him. It tempted him. [ "It smells really good..."] Asta's voice drifted from somewhere behind him, but Fang wasn't really paying attention. He was too focused on cooking...and ..on Sora. ["He cooks at home."] Sora's voice this time. He smirked alittle. Indeed...he did. He looked back catching Sora staring at him. "You gonna keep looking at me like that, or are you actually gonna help?" Sora blinked. The pink that crept across his cheeks was nearly immediate, impossible to hide, and Fang suddenly had the desire to kiss him. ( Got you.) [ "I am helping," ] Fang huffed, rolling his eyes. ( This should be good..) "Oh yeah? How?" [ "Moral support, I'm keeping the chef motivated."] ( Cute..) Fang turned back to the grill to hide the small smile tugging on his lips. When the food was done, he sat next to Sora. Their shoulders brushing, hand resting on his knee underneath the table. Why? Because he could. Because he wanted to. Because he appreciated the "moral support." ___________________________ When Fang finally announced that the food was ready, Asta quickly sat up, stretching his arms above his head. Watching the fire and hearing the crash of the waves was relaxing. The table was loaded with food—burgers and sausages, grilled vegetables with char marks, and a bowl of store-bought potato salad. Leon offered everyone drinks. " I'll take a water please. " He titled his head slightly seeing Leon hand Fang a drink he'd never really seen before. It looked like, beer. ( Actually, come to think of it...I've never seen Leon...drunk...) Was such a thing even possible? ["So, Asta, what kind of things have you actually looked into for us to do? It'd be nice to know the rough plans for the week." ] He blinked trying to remember what all he had planned. He looked at his hands and began, ticking items off his fingers, "I thought we could do a mix of stuff. There's a hiking trail along the cliffs—nothing too intense, roughly three miles. Stunning views. There's also the little town about twenty minutes from here with a boardwalk, restaurants, and shops. A beach day is a must...and there's an aquarium about 45 minutes away from us." He glanced at Fang, then Sora. "I also booked a boat for one of the days, just for a few hours, they offer tubing, jet sking, and pair sailing..Oh!" His expression changed, suddenly looking more panicked. "I'm sorry. I should of asked, n-none of you get sea sick..r-right? Don't feel like you have to do everything...if you guys wanna relax and sleep in...I understand. " Asta looked down at his plate, feeling shy under the weight of everyone's attention. "I just want everyone to have a good time, that's all," he spoke honestly. Fang sighed. Placing his unopened beer on the table. "Clearly.." He muttered, staring down at the can. He would go along with whatever Sora wanted to do, as long as they had a day or two to relax, sleep in, and mess around, he was fine with whatever. But right now tho, he was debating on weather or not he should drink this 'special beer'. While everyone was busy, he found time to sneak away and put up magical talismans around the beach house, an expensive ask. Who made the magical talismans? Vanitas... Fang was hiding it well, but he was anxious. His senses were dulled, he was sleeping in a area that was completely foreign to him, and Kota wasn't present. So...naturally he felt alittle safer knowing that a barrier protected the house, but....still. Fang quietly ate his food, only adding small comments to the rest of the conversation. He wouldn't be drinking tonight. When they finally finished eating and the plates had been cleared, Asta switched over to a beer, taking a few sips. He was beginning to understand why people drank them with barbecues. The group had migrated back to the crackling fire, and Fang sat right next to Sora, his arm was draped across the back of Sora's chair, fingers occasionally brushing the nape of his neck. Wanting to make sure that all this...was real. Wanting him close and within arms reach. Asta watched Fang and Sora from across the fire. It seemed so naturally for them. The touching. The closeness.... ( I'm jealous...) Could him and Leon be like that someday? So madly in love that they didn't care what other people thought. ( I...want to be like that...with him..) _____________________________ "L-leon..." Asta stood in front of his boyfriend. His world had gone soft around the edges, somewhere between the third beer and cozy fire. Everything just felt warmer...louder...better as they entered the house, closing the sliding door behind them. Fang and Sora were the first to head inside, shortly after them, he and Leon agreed to follow suit. It was quiet inside... only a few lights on. Asta would be lying if he said he wasn't tipsy. The shade of pink on his ears and cheeks were a silent indicator. That...and it seemed Asta grew more clingy and affectionate when he was tispy. He had snuggled up to Leon when they were by the fire. When Leon asked him if he was cold, he shook his head, simply saying. 'No...I just want to be closer to you..' a moment of raw honesty thanks to liquid courage. The alcohol had smoothed out the rough edges of his anxiety, and the over thinking in his head. He was staring at him now, biting his bottom lip again. He opened his mouth. Closed it. Opened it again. The alcohol loosening his tongue, whispering 'just say it, just ask him!' "C-can we take a bath together," Asta's chest tightened. "Right now..." He dropped his head, fingers reaching for Leon's shirt and gripping it firmly. His voice, softer now, "I want to be close to you...I...need you...r-right now....." No...thats not all he wanted. 'Ask him!!! Ask him!' Whats the worst thing Leon could say? No? Leon had been an exotic dancer at a bar/club that he wasnt allowed to enter. He had never gotten to see him perform...and since Leon had changed job careers for him...he'd never perform like that ever again, for anyone else...unless... " Will you put on a show f-for me...j-just me..." It was for him~ @M-jow
