I believe the addition was most likely made by someone on the administrative side, and it may simply have been an unintentional use of “JAP” instead of “JP” as an abbreviation. There are people who are not aware that “JAP” can be considered a derogatory term, and others who may think it is merely taken from the beginning of “Japan”. However, from the perspective of those concerned, it can certainly come as a shock. Therefore, if the administrators happen to see this, I would greatly appreciate it if they could make a correction.
