Julius blinked, slightly taken aback, but not surprised by how easily Yukie handled things. There was something effortlessly competent about him, the way he made even the strangest requests seem mundane. One moment they were just walking out of a store hand-in-hand, and the next Yukie was texting a high-end stylist who apparently spoke demonic and handled celebrity-level grooming like it was nothing. Julius glanced sideways, watching the flicker of the screen in Yukie’s hand before he tucked the phone away again. It was such a small thing, really, but it reminded him—again—that Yukie’s life had always run on a different current than his own. Bigger, stranger in some ways. But Yukie hadn’t hesitated. No questions about why he wanted the hair, no suspicion, no judgment. Just: Sure. I know a guy. A warmth spread quietly through Julius’s chest. It was easy to forget, sometimes, how rare that kind of trust was. He gave Yukie’s hand a light squeeze. “Thanks, for listening” he said simply. His mind was already ticking forward, though, back to the idea that had prompted the request. The surprise. It was still half-formed in his head, more feeling than really a plan just yet. But he knew he had to hive Yukie something special, something with memory and the kind of thing you couldn’t express in ordinary gifts or dates. The weight of Yukie’s hand in his felt reassuring. He wasn’t exactly new to that kind of luxury. God knew his house was rich too. But salons for him had always been practical, in and out in under thirty minutes. But the idea of going to a boutique, Yukie’s boutique, where someone familiar would be doing both their haircuts, felt… intimate in a strange, slightly thrilling way. He kept his expression relaxed, but his mind was turning. Thinking about how the atmosphere might feel inside. Not sterile or fluorescent, but warm, tailored. He imagined dark wood floors, subtle lighting, maybe a velvet couch in the corner. Mirrors draped or removed entirely. Maybe Gunther would bring incense or soft music. Maybe the room would smell faintly of sandalwood and something floral Yukie liked. He pictured Yukie sitting still, relaxed in the chair, dark strands falling to the floor in little spirals while Julius watched, quietly collecting the pieces he’d asked for. The idea made something inside him ache—in a good way. Julius ran a hand through his own hair absently, feeling the weight and unevenness of it. It was definitely time for a trim. Maybe something a little bold, if he could pull it off. It didn’t really matter how it looked— but he prefered it to look nice, so he looked like someone who was suited for Yukie. He glanced up at the sky, the late afternoon sun catching on the tops of the buildings around them. The day was quiet, unhurried. There was no rush. Just the low hum of the city and the soft rhythm of footsteps as they walked together. He turned back to Yukie with a small smile. They were almost there now. Julius could see the boutique sign just ahead, elegant and understated, tucked between two polished stone facades. ------------ ["I’m not tired yet”] Yumro didn’t hold back. The moment Haruhi’s body pressed in closer, the breathless confession and the way his fingers lingered in Yumro’s hair with just a hint too much longing… it hit him like a match to dry kindling. There was no hesitation. No slow realization. Just need. Immediate. His expression shifted, that quiet affection in his gaze sharpening into something feral. Focused and Hungy, but not just of the body, his soul as well. Like a predator who had finally cornered what it had been hunting. Not to harm it, but to play a little. “You’ve been winding me up since seeingyou in that bathingsuit,” Yumro said, his voice low, roughened with desire. “Now about that energy you don’t know what to do with…” His hand slid down Haruhi’s side, deliberate and slow. Fingers dragging across bare skin like he was memorizing every inch. Then, with no warning, he moved. A sudden shift, smooth and dominant, he pressed Haruhi down beneath him in one fluid motion. His body caged his mate in completely. Shoulders looming, legs bracketing Haruhi’s, the heat between them impossible to ignore. Yumro’s mouth found Haruhi’s neck, not with a kiss, but with his teeth. He bit, just hard enough to make Haruhi feel it for hours. He offered no apologie. Just a low growl in his throat that vibrated against skin. “I can smell it on you,” he muttered against Haruhi’s throat. “The want. You’re not subtle.” His hand slid to Haruhi’s wrists and pinned them above his head, one-handed, firm and effortless. His other hand explored freely, down Haruhi’s chest, slow, like he owned every part of him and intended to prove it. Yumro’s mouth was on him again, lips, tongue and teets. Devouring Haruhi's smooth skin that to him - tasted like the best f##king thing - he would never tire off it.
