Yukie sighed a little at Kai’s gentle touch the man secretly enjoying every second of it, it was comforting though he would never admit it.Sitting and staring at the tv Yukie didn’t protest as he was cared for and bandaged. He wouldn’t lie that for once the pain was rather intense and he needed the care. While he had been beaten before and came to Kai for a break…this client had gone to the extreme. As Kai settled down more beside him Yukie looked over a little as he felt Kai’s head rest against his shoulder. Yukie wouldn’t ever admit it, he would stay cold and distance himself from any affection he knew falling for Kai wasn’t allowed. He was a fallen man, and one in a dangerous position where Kai would get hurt if his “Boss” thought he was trying to get out or get away. It was better for them both if Yukie just existed in his life…he knew though if Kai ever left him it would be the end of his safe place. Sitting and watching the tv numbly Yukie finished his beer only to catch Kai trying to hold his hand. Yukie of course flinching at the touch as he found the softness of Kai’s hand holding his rather nice. “I’m fine..…It was just a little disagreement…nothings broken and I’m not seriously hurt. Taking out the pack he pulled one out his fingers shaking as Yukie took a few minutes to light it before finally taking a deep breath and exhaling out the window. He was in hot water at work, dangerously hot water. He knew his boss was going to beat his ass on sight for even having the gall to fight back against his client and Yukie, he had fought back dirty and hard. The man he had left in the hotel room bleeding out definitely had a few deep stab wounds from the broken bottle Yukie had shoved into his stomach. It had been his only way of escape from a torture filled weekend. Yukie knew he needed to lay low…buy himself some time and hide away just long enough for his boss to cool down. There was also the fact he lost the payment…it was so much…he could earn the money away from his boss…he had done it before when the men skipped paying. It was in the wrong spot sir.” Haru explained as he smiled down at the man before climbing down and handing his boss the medicine. “Somehow it got in the wrong area, I could have swore I cleaned up in here last week well enough.” Haru admitted as he awkwardly smiled and turned to put away the ones he had pulled down. “Haru, all the students being mentored are going out tonight with there bosses, sort of a celebration for their hard work. I would like to take you out for drinks with everyone. You’ve been such a hard worker for me over the last six months.” Tadashiro said with a smile as he gently patted Haru’s back. “We can go together and meet up with everyone after work it would be a nice end to your apprenticeship here.” Tadashiro stated as Haru smiled kindly. Haru knew he couldn’t reject his bosses offer since he had rejected him from day one. Kai heard Yukies voice, he glanced over his shoulder, seeing a figure sitting on the floor, watching TV. Why was he sitting in the dark? He turned on the light, slowly approaching him. "Have you eaten? I bought you some ice cre----" His voice faded as his eyes finally fell on Yukie. What the hell happened to him? This wasnt the first time he'd seen Yukie bruised and battered after a difficult client but this was by far the worst he'd ever seen! "Jesus! Yue--" He sat in front of him, touching his face. "What the hell happened." He took a moment to examine his face, it was covered in fresh bruises, his lip was split, and even his clothes had blood stains on them. "Let me see." He muttered, taking his arm, and rolling up his sleeve. He couldn't help but notice little burns on his skin...were these...cigarette burns? "C-can you move your arm..." He questioned. Worried it might be broken. The bruises on his skin were so dark, it was concerning. When Yukie bent his arm, a soft sigh of relief escaped his lips. " Good...it's not broken...but..." He fell silent seeing needle marks on his skin. He couldn't help but feel his stomach sink. Since when did Yukie do drugs? This was the first time he'd seen these marking on him...and he was extremely familiar with drugs and where that path led. He didnt want to see Yukie end up like his mother. He bit his lip seeing Yukies neck, which deeply concerned him. Who ever he was with was extremely sadistic and brutal. Judging from the marks, it wasnt hard to see that Yukie was strangled...probably until he became unconscious. There was a blackish/purple line around his neck. When he returned he sat down in front of Yukie and did what he always did...patched him up. " Put this on your neck." He said softly, handing him the ice, before starting with Yukies arms. Cleaning the needle wounds with disinfectant before applying ointment and covering it with a badge. He then had Yukie take off his shirt, and he took care of any open wounds he saw, and then his legs. When he finally moved to his face, all Yukie needed was some hot and cold cream and a badge on his cheek. It took nearly an hour for Kai to address all of his wounds...and for once Yukie didn't protest. He grabbed Yukies chin, and gently applied some vaseline on his busted lip. It would take some time for him to fully bounce back from this ordeal. As he finished, he found himself holding Yue's chin for a very long moment, he was staring at his lips...wanting to kiss him...but he didn't and immediately released him. Instead, he moved next to the other, and rested his head on Yukies shoulder, his hand reaching for Yues, as he tried to hold it. "Yue...I'm..worried about you..."
