Julius had gone still somewhere between Yukie stepping past him and the quiet click of the bathroom door. The sound lingered far longer than it should have. He didn’t realize how deeply those words had cut into him until his fingers tightened around the fabric in his hand, knuckles whitening as his breath hitched, sharp and uncontrollable. He stayed there, frozen, staring down at the clothes he’d been inspecting earlier. Yukie’s voice replayed in his head, low and certain. 'He thinks I’m blinding.' The thought made something light and dizzy bloom in his chest. Being admired like that—no, claimed like that—left him unmoored. Yukie complimenting him was one thing, but the way he’d said it… like Julius was something precious, something worth baring teeth over. The heat in Yukie’s eyes had been raw, possessive in a way Julius had never seen before, and it clung to him now like a touch that hadn’t quite faded. He moved to the edge of the bed and sat down, knees giving way beneath him. His legs felt boneless, distant, as though they belonged to someone else. He dragged his hands over his thighs, grounding himself in the press of muscle and warmth. Nothing was wrong—except that his head was full, crowded with Yukie. His gaze unfocused as the moment replayed, over and over, sharper each time. Fuck. It wasn’t fair. The way Yukie made him fall harder with that look, that sentence, that voice that wrapped around his heartstring and pulled him in tight. His heart slammed against his ribs, fast and heavy, his body wound so tight it felt ready to snap. Eventually, Julius forced a slow breath and stood. He stripped out of his clothes and reached for the ones he’d chosen earlier. The button-up slid over his shoulders, dark and fitted, the fabric cool against skin that still felt overheated. He rolled the sleeves just enough, then fastened each button with deliberate care, the small, intimate motion steadying him. The dress pants followed—comfortable, but formal enough to feel intentional. He slipped into the lightweight jacket last, the kind that suggested money and confidence. The last one he felt like he needed the most right now, to not make a fool of himself. The warmth from earlier refused to fade, it creeped up his spine and settling at the back of his neck. He caught his reflection in the mirror and quickly looked away, heat blooming in his cheeks. When he looked back again, he adjusted the fit—tugging, smoothing, lingering over the lines of himself longer than necessary. The color still made him hesitate. Yukie hadn’t given him any hints before locking himself in the bathroom, and the not-knowing made Julius’s stomach tighten in a way that felt dangerously close to excitement. He studied himself again. The clothes looked good, better than he’d expected, especially with the new haircut—but he kept fixing things anyway. A cuff. A collar. Anything to keep his hands busy. Waiting alone for Yukie set his nerves on edge. He wanted to see him. His heart was beating so loudly it felt like it filled the room. In the end, Julius chose the couch. The bed was a dangerous place to sit with thoughts like these. Even if, sooner or later, they were bound to end up there anyway. ------------ Yumro gently drew Haru into his warm embrace, careful to leave room for his body to shift. All things considered, Haru had done remarkably well. The pain had been the worst part, but it hadn’t taken him long to transform. The boy was a natural—he really just needed time to get used to it, and soon the pain wouldn’t bother him nearly as much. ["Yours…aren’t fluffy….”] “That’s because you’re still growing,” Yumro explained, gently patting Haru’s head. “Right now, you still have your baby chick feathers. I had them too. They’re for to protection. Once you’re fully grown, your feathers will be smooth like mine. And who knows? Yours might even end up bigger.” He smiled softly. “You did really well.” After a moment, Yumro continued, “Now, are you ready to try flying? Taking off from the ground is a lot harder than jumping from somewhere high. I want you to try. But if you can’t, we’ll practice until you get into the air.” He tilted his head thoughtfully. “Do you want me to show you first, or would you rather try it on your own?”

Something I've discovered while messing around with the game... installing the BL Append is a weird, workaround No CD patch. So, if you just play the regular base game it WILL ask for the disk to be inserted. I doubt you guys would wanna do that because... well, you know. This IS a BL forum... and the append doesn't get rid of the base het/yuri content. LOL But I guess if you really wanted to... you can just use ImgBurn or the full version of PowerISO to make an iso of the base game files and virtually mount it. I tried this and it worked. But note that it only works for the base version. Because, you know... you don't need to do that for the BL Append verison.
