Julius smiled as Yukie gently pulled him toward the garden doors. He laced their fingers together, giving his mate’s hand a soft squeeze as he followed him outside, naturally falling into step at his side. The garden paths were lined with softly glowing floating lights. They cast just enough warmth to guide people’s steps, but not enough to illuminate much else. The rest of the garden lay in deep shadow. The event organizers hadn’t expected anyone to wander out here, focusing instead on a small smoking area in a completely different section from where Yukie and Julius now stood. Beyond the last of the fairy lights, the moonlight took over. It only took a moment for Julius’s eyes to adjust. Though his night vision was no better than any human’s, he could still see well enough. The gazebo ahead was half-veiled in shadow—but in a way that felt romantic rather than eerie. Julius let out a slow, quiet breath. The distance from the crowd eased something in him, loosening the tension he hadn’t even realized he’d been holding. Here, there were no eyes on them. No expectations. Just the two of them. [“Thank you for tonight (…) It was truly a tremendous experience.”] Julius’s expression softened, something warm and unguarded flickering in his gaze. “The pleasure was all mine~,” he murmured, his voice more gentle, as they settled close together on the couch. He glanced at Yukie when he felt a shift beside him, noticed Yukie tried to loosen his shoes. Julius couldn’t even imagine how uncomfortable the heels must feel by now. He had to admit—they looked beautiful with the dress and gave off a mature elegance— “They look beautiful on you,” he admitted quietly, eyes lingering for a moment. “But… you’ve been in them all night.” A flicker of guilt tugged at him. “Here… let me.” He didn’t wait for permission before lowering himself to his knees in front of Yukie. Gently, he lifted Yukie’s foot by the ankle and slipped off the heels one by one. Then he began to massage his mate’s feet in slow, careful circles, encouraging the blood flow and easing the tension. The motion was unhurried and attentive. “Better?” he asked softly, glancing up. He had never massaged someone’s feet before, but he understood enough about muscle placement to work out some of the tension. Once he felt Yukie begin to relax, Julius turned his attention back to the heels. With a simple swipe of his hand, they shifted into a pair of comfortable flats. “It’s only temporary—I haven’t ruined them,” Julius assured him quickly. “They’ll change back once I stop feeding them magic. Just like my shirt… I just thought this might be more comfortable… if your feet are tired.” He hesitated just slightly, his thumb brushing lightly along Yukie’s ankle before he continued. Gently slipping the transformed shoes back onto Yukie’s feets. To avoid him getting cold. --- ------ --- - --- - ---- -------- ---- ["Wouldn’t be a trip without this….least that’s what I’ve read."] “Ah well, we most certainly need them then,” Yumro said as Haru tossed him the marshmallows with a grin. Yumro caught them easily, giving a small approving nod. “Not bad,” he added, while he opened the plastic bag and handled a big marshmallow back. “Do you knownhow to roast them?” He showed Haru how to sterilize a stick over the flame. Before putting the marshmallow on Then they both leaned closer to the fire, carefully holding their sticks over the glowing embers. The flames crackled softly, painting warm light across their faces while the night seemed quiet around them. For a while, neither of them spoke. Just the sound of the fire, the occasional shift of wood, and the faint rustle of wind through the trees. Yumro glanced sideways at Haru, noticing how focused he was—turning the marshmallow slowly, just like he'd been shown. He reached over and adjusted Haru’s grip slightly, guiding his hand. “Easy,” Yumro murmured. “Let the heat do the work. You don’t have to rush it.” Slowly the marshmallow began to turn golden. “You’re getting the hang of it,” Yumro said softly. Another quiet moment passed before Yumro spoke again, his voice thoughtful. “You know, Haru… about what you said before.... I’ve always thought of it like this: Inside every person, there are two wolves fighting.” One is evil—full of anger, envy, greed, arrogance, and resentment. The other is good—full of love, kindness, humility, courage, and peace.” Yumro shifted slightly, resting his arm casually on his knees. “It’s an inner struggle,” he continued, “where only you decide which one you feed. The hard part… is learning to live in harmony with both. Not pretending one doesn’t exist.” Haru stared into the fire now, thinking. “Sometimes the weight shifts,” Yumro said. “It happens to everyone.” He gave a small, almost reluctant smile... "What matters is that you can shift it back. Too much evil isn’t good… but too much good can be just as harmful if you forget to protect yourself.” He gently nudged Haru with his shoulder, a faint grin returning. Yumro ruffled Haru's hair lightly for just a second, then pulled his hand back. “You’ll figure it out. And when you don’t…” he added, poking at the fire with a stick, “you won’t have to figure it out alone.” Then Yumro leaned in suddenly, squinting. “Hey—look out, or your marshmallow’s going to catch fire.” ------------ Even though Haru didn’t seem interested in music, he had never mentioned that he could play. Huh. Shan didn’t dwell on it for long. As Haruhi had explained, Haru had been taught cause it had been tradition. Shan had seen plenty of parents teach their children things they themselves weren’t passionate about. Still, it felt a little strange that Haru hadn’t said anything when Shan had shown interest. “I’m really glad you could teach me,” Shan said honestly, stretching out his arms and flexing his fingers. “It helped a lot. I think I can read the music sheets on my own now… but I’d love to learn more.” His hands itched to try playing something straight from a book, to see if he could make sense of it without help. But for now, he was content to wait—to enjoy the quiet pace of vacation. He glanced out the window. The sun was just beginning to dip toward the horizon, painting the sky in warm shades of gold and orange. “Mum, would you like to go for a walk and watch the sunset?” he asked. He’d spent most of the day resting, and the thought of fresh air and moving his legs felt just right.

I actually do very much love Loveless, I really love Soubi, and in terms of looks he really reminds me of Souichi from The Tyrant Falls in Love, theyre both adorable with their circle frames and long blonde hair. Soubi is like a more chill version of Souichi ..both adorable though. I need to read the manga though! ive been putting it off forever ToT
