[ "Strip."] The word hung in the air between them like a challenge. Fang's first instinct was to laugh it off. To roll his eyes and make some smart remark about Sora getting bold, about how cute it was when he tried to be commanding. He smirked, ready to tease him. But then his eyes met Sora's. The human was sitting on the closed toilet lid, legs crossed, with no expression. His eyes and body language seemed alittle cold, lacking that fun playfullness he was so use to seeing. Fang's smirk faltered. Oh. He opened his mouth to speak, then closed it. As if he was in disbelief. His heart did something strange—a flutter of uneasiness that he couldn't quite place. "Seriously?" he asked, his voice came out rougher than he intended, but Sora didn't answer him. He just tilted his head slightly, with a unreadable gaze fixed on him. Almost like he was studying him. Strip. The word echoed in his skull again, and suddenly he wasn't in the bathroom anymore. He was somewhere else—somewhere dark and cold. A circus tent. The ringmaster's voice was sharp as he mocked him, "Take it off, mutt!" He cracked his whip as laughter filled the room. It was hard to describe the humiliation he felt, standing naked in a room full of humans while his back bled and legs shook. He was hit so many times that he lost count. Fang's breath hitched. No. He wasn't there anymore. He was here. With Sora. And Sora wasn't the ringmaster. Sora was his mate. Sore would never— But the Alpha in him snarled. Alphas are not suppose to submit to anyone. Alphas were meant to be untamable. Undomesticated. They didn't kneel, didn't obey, didn't strip on command like a trained animal. And yet— ( Is he...mad?) The very thought cut through his pride like a blade.What if Sora was genuinely upset? What if the teasing at the beach had irritated him, and this was some kind of... punishment? A test? What if Fang was about to lose him—lose this—because he couldn't — Stop. Fang forced himself to breathe. He looked at Sora again. His gaze was steady and unwavering. He was acting as if he had all the time in the world and dispite their bond, he was having a hard time deciphering Sora's true feelings. ( This isn't the circus.) Fang told himself. ( This is Sora. He's not going to hurt you...or humiliate you. Whatever this is... it's just...) A game. It had to be a game. Some kind of foreplay. A test of trust. Fang swallowed hard. If he was going to submit to anyone...it was going to be Sora. Only him. Always him. Slowly, Fang reached for the hem of his shirt. His hands were steady—but something inside, him was trembling. He didn't fear Sora. He feared what this meant. That feeling of fear you get when you have to trust someone completely, after being disappointed and betrayed so many times. What would it feel like to obey, to surrender in a way he sworn he never would. The shirt came off first. Then his pants. Then his underwear. Each piece of clothing felt heavier than it should have, like he was peeling away layers of armor instead of fabric. Dispite him obeying, Sora's expression didn't change. He gestured at the bathroom rug. ["Kneel."] Fang's jaw tightened. You don't have to do this. The inner Alpha within him whispered. You're stronger than him. Faster. You could walk away right now and he couldn't stop you. But Fang didn't want to walk away. He wanted to understand. He wanted to prove—to Sora, to himself—that this was different. That they were different. Slowly, he lowered himself onto the rug. The floor was hard and this position left him exposed—bare, vulnerable. He looked up at Sora from below. Every instinct within him was screaming at him to stand, to reclaim his height, his power, his control. He stayed, with both knees on the ground, sitting. Sora leaned forward, elbows on his knees, bringing himself closer. ["Tell me something. Why were you laughing when I was trying to get those women off your back?"] Fang blinked. The question caught him off guard—so far from what he'd expected that it took him a moment to process it. Not a command. Not an insult. Just... a question. And suddenly, the tension in Fang's chest loosened. Oh. This is a game. The realization washed over him like warm water, easing the cold knot of anxiety that had been twisting in his stomach. Sora wasn't angry. Wasn't punishing him. This was just... Sora being bold. Taking control. Testing boundaries. Playing. He smirked, "You really want to know?", his voice low. "I was laughing because you looked so cute trying to be intimidating." His smirk widening. "Sitting on my lap like you were claiming territory." Dispite his honest answer, Sora's expression didn't change, but Fang took notice of the faint flush on his cheeks. "Am I in trouble?" He raised a single eye brow, curious. @M-jow
