I’m all honesty I’m more likely to crash into others dancing around us trying to not step on your feet.” Yukie admitted with a dry chuckle as he looked at Julius as he held onto him a little closer as they started walking Yukie finally breaking the silence. ”I should warn you….charity balls and me well.…it would be interesting to put faces to names.” Yukie admitted smiling a little uneasily as they both got closer to the entrance, the demon staring at the party his hand firm around Julius’s arm as he looked at the grand building. “….I….I don’t really pay much attention to these kinda things. I don’t dance…standing around is just boring, to many people chatting and making small talk about things I could care less about. I get out of invitations by donating something for auction or sending a check. I’ve gotten in the bad habit of just automatically buying or donating my way out of this stuff based on the details emailed to me.” Yukie explained softly as they walked into the building his lips leaning in to where Julius’s ear was as he whispered. ”I don’t know what I paid…or donated. I’m usually drunk and making a game out of it. It’s usually themed around the first one I opened before I start my monthly donations.” Yukie whispered a touch embarrassed at the fact. In all reality he knew that the donation was enough in the end he always got a receipt for money raised or who won what. Still, as he gazed around the ballroom Yukies breath caught slightly at the crowd of high end people and the fact he really should be more social. —————— “…Don’t let the wind fully take me.” Haru asked nervously almost begging as he had seen strong gusts hit and blow newer ravens off course when the weather was off. Feeling the wind from Yumros wings Haru watched how Yumro moved to learn the pattern before he steadied himself. Haru was thinking to hard on it finding familiarity in the logical way of doing this than the instinctive way. Haru was doing it exactly as Yumro instructed but it was clear where Haru’s problem really lie, Haru currently was unable to get understanding of balance he was constantly over correcting his movements. In the end he found himself tumbling his body instantly falling like a rock as his nerves on learning this was getting the better of him. Sitting up Haru fought back the tears in his eyes as he rubbed them away smearing his face with dirt from the fall. His body unhurt due to the thick downy feathers, but his pride oh! It was in shreds! Getting up again Haru refused to acknowledge his failure or that he was struggling being as stubborn as Haru as he kept trying over and over. Each time falling and tumbling sometimes better sometimes worse. After around the tenth try, his body was finally staying up for a bit. His only accomplishment ring that with each fall he had mastered landing without crashing in the dirt. As this short flight ended he steadied himself on his feet as he looked at Yumro still so frustrated and confused why he wasn’t getting higher off the ground or actually doing more that fluttering in place.
