Because of modernization. In kanji combinations,it's ''Kuro''. But only when used as adj,it's ''kuroi''. If you want to say 'Black tears', it's not 'kuro namida',but 'kuroi namida'. Also,when it's in front of particles such as 'no'. Even if you type it 'kuroi no',it will transform it into 'kuro no'. Take an example the anime 'Ao no exorcist',ne? In a split of second,I might stop with Japanese,for a reason or two. Then what? Won't you be better? Besides,even if I don't stop... one's brain has a capacity,different from other's one. Mine might be not enough,who knows. You might be the one surpassing me. A student always should think positive. Another thing I learnt from Asians, you'll never surpass your teacher,if you see them as a teacher/master. Take them on the edge,see them as an opponent and bring yourself to the point of smashing everything on your way.
