So when he reached for the bag, he still midway only to lower his ears and dart his gaze to the both of them. As if he was unsure of it all. But either way he reached into the bag and pulled one of wrapped candies out. Looking over the wrapper before opening it. Placing the small chocolate in his mouth, letting the candy melt in his mouth. His ears twitched at the sweetness of the candy only to let a soft purr leave him. Before he was even able to stop himself, he was already reaching for some of the items on the table. His tail swaying lightly behind him as he picked out various things he wanted to try. It wasn't to much longer before he began to stuff his mouth full of french toast, clearly the candy had helped him get his appetite back for the time being. His ears twitching and laying back against his head at the various textures that hit his tongue. But it wasn't until Julien let the piece of toast fall from his hand onto the table. His ears laid back in confusion at the warmth that was starting to run through his body. He had forgotten that the old man from his past had forbidden chocolate from him. Instead the type of candy that Itoshi had given Julien had been a hard like taffy candy. For the fact that chocolate for a neko was like an aphrodisiac. It was like a drug to his kind, one that their body's didn't burn up unlike human medications. Julien bit at his lip with a strangled and confused whimper leave him.
