An influential advertising company broadcasts the building of its own Utopia. With a compromise of having the citizens watch commercials, the well know franchise move in a population of sixty thousand that are given free food and housing. After little time the advertising hastily move to the real world, and become more and more intrusive, dramatically increasing to the level of psychological torture. Through such process, the corporation feared that the crime rate would increase; therefore broadcasting every individual's daily lives on national television, twenty-four hours a day. This source was to eliminate such actions.

Within less than a year, scientists made to create the ultimate dome. One to protect against natural disasters, with the addition of sealing off the corrupted society. Muse A, and Muse B were residents in this perfected city, many more criterias being adopted. Upon weekly injections, Muse A's nurse didn't perform a correct procedure, due to stress. After notice, the woman contact the gods of the built city to notify them. Because the fluids were so powerful, another dosage would be fatal. The creators bid farewell to Muse A, thinking that much wouldn't change. Upon that week, Muse A had gained control of his thoughts and actions. With awarness, the teen decided to console in a friend, Muse B.

Upon both gaining consciousness to their surrounding, the two corrupt the system of this Utopia. What would be their punishment for such an act?

The tapping of heels against the tiled floor was all that filled the silence between the patients. The city had just adopted a procedure of having all residents to take a weekly dosage of medicine. The substance was said to be able to sterilize all bacteria or virus; therefore not to spread the common cold through any sexual transmitted diseases. The scientists have said to worked on the injection for years now. Even before the build of Utopia. A miracle was what it was.

Grey orbs scanned the area with caution. Sadao was not liking the idea. Such a injection, to him, seemed fatal. He had never thought that such a cure would come for yet another eternity. Sure he could feel more patients tense as well, albeit neither doubted any of what was happening. At least that was the way it seemed. Tadashi did, however, hear others outside the facility discussing their disapproval, and fear. Some even going as far as refusing the free offer. Could it really be a place of purity, if many went against such a marvel accomplishment.

--Tsk...what absurdity. Here I am being hypocritical when I too do not wish to take such a substance. Isn't life filled with colds and diseases. For some to die as an infected whore, while even an innocent is dying of the same cause. Life isn't meant for such a city, but...this is genius. I suppose I shouldn't be too surprised. We humans are here after all.

A smirk formed over the teen's lips as a light voice called out his name. Standing with a stretch, the brunette yawned and sluggishly dragged himself to a room to receive his first dosage.

Silence. That's all he heard. The unnerving sound of nothingness. It overwhelmed him, just like the white room that he was sitting inside of, the smell of 'hospital' in the air. That disgusting smell of overpowering disinfectant. The feeling of white itchy fabric on your skin. The feeling of life. And of death. But to Kohaku, it was something that was all too familiar. Not that he really paid much attention to it, as he was in what some would call a 'zombie-state'. Moving around, breathing, living, but not there when it came to mental functions of thought or anything of that sort. That's just what happened when you end up being an experimental subject to crazy scientists who call themselves "doctors".

Sounds come from the hallway, and Kohaku looks up, his eyes glazed over, his expression dull and lifeless. He slowly stands up, wandering over to the door, peering out of the glass pane that was set into the door, watching as people walk past. None catch his eye, why would they? Nothing really made Kohaku really 'feel', or be 'alive'. Those who were walking past were here for their first dosage of the now "perfected or so they say" medicine, but deep within Kohaku's sleeping consciousness, he knew it was all a lie.

A name was called out side, and a young male individual stands up, walking towards the room that was set right next to his. Though that room, unlike his own, wasn't locked. His eyes follow the male's movements, and slowly shirks away from the window, so even if the other male looked inside, all he would have seen was a brief glance of Kohaku. He slumps to the floor, laying down flat on his back, and stares at the ceiling, the light flickering in it's socket. It seemed that they needed to put a new bulb in.

He soon hears sounds, coming from another door on the other side of the room, this one having no windows at all, and it too was locked. Slowly he sits up, so he was cross-legged on the floor, when a nurse comes into the room. She was holding a clipboard in one hand, and what appeared to be a syringe with some strange liquid in the other. "Okay Kohaku, time for your next dose. We've fixed it up from last time, though...I doubt even know what I'm saying, do you?" She was mocking him, a smirk on her lips, as he stared up at her, not saying anything. Though the sight of the needle and syringe made his pulse quicken, he didn't do anything to fight back when she put whatever hellish concoction into him, though after she left, and locked the door behind her, he began feeling of the medicine rushing through his veins, his body surging with pain. He screams out, his voice echoing around him and in his head. The people outside looked towards the sound, but for them, it didn't last long. With a push of a button, the 'gods' made the room soundproof, so that no one but Kohaku could hear his own screams.

(I decided to make things a bit more interesting if that's okay. This is related to his background: IE why his family was murdered, etc.)

Within just moments of seating, the brunette was startled from a blood curling scream that rushed through his senses. Standing from chair, Tadashi glanced to his assistant with an alarmed expression. The woman was wearing the same mask as he, albeit it only caught her by surprise. She surely knew the victim of that scream. Within the next second, the sound died. A silence rested between Sadao and the Nurse, the two staring to each other.

The younger took in the other's appearance. The vividly pink hair, green orbs, small nose and the slight curves of lips. The nurse was more so on the curvy side. The uniform hugged the lady's figure with little tension. Smirking lightly, the long haired male glared lightly once he caught a sudden movement to reach to him.

"I am your assistant today. My name is Akira, it is nice to meet you. Please, don't mind that. Some victims are afraid of needles."

"Victims? What is this!"

An identified emotion flickered into the green orbs, Sadao sneering. He knew the woman had voiced a mistake. One that surely caught his attention, let alone changed it. With a shake of the head, Tadashi rejected the woman's reach.

"What is this?" The teenager questioned, voice a few octaves high. "How's this to be a perfected city, when we are being lied to?"

The woman stood with panic, scared that another patient may hear the brunette. "You need to lower you voice." Akira's voice was demanding, as she frowned to male before her.

"Why? So that others won't hear me? What the fuck is in that syringe, because I damn well doubt that a person would release such a terrifying scream as that, just from a fear of needles!"

The curvy woman crossed her arm over her breast, a brow raised. "Listen kid...you're still naive. Patients have a-"

"Oh, so now we are patients." He interrupted, mimicking the woman's movement to raise a brow.

A sigh was released as the nurse shook her head. The one before her was definitely out of her control and she didn't really feel much with arguing with him. "I didn't want to do this, but...you're being quite a handful." She voiced, beckoning toward a man who sat across the room. Within moments, Sadao was wrestled to the floor so that he could take his first dosage. All would be corrected in a little time.

The pain soon subsides, and Kohaku lay panting on the cold, white tiled floor, sweat lining his entire body, his clothing sticking to his limbs, his skin feeling as if it was still on fire, but he was too exhausted to call out. No one would be able to hear him anyways. Not a single person would hear his screams. He faces up at the ceiling, his breathing ragged, his heart beat racing, his eyes non-focused, rolling back and forth. He felt numb, the only sensation was that of being on fire...from the inside.

It had been at least an hour or two since he had been given his dosage of the medicine, and the lobby where the people had been waiting to take their first dosage of the medicine was now empty. Even the room next door, where the young man had been, was cleared out no doubt, and Kohaku was once again all alone in the lab, well, except for the scientists that stayed there, the guards, and the lady at the information desk. He was alone in that room, where there was nothing, not even a chair for him to sit on, nor any sheets or pillows. It was barren, except for him sitting in it.

Kohaku knew not if it was day or night, if it was raining or sunny, nothing. For the room had no windows as well. He slowly sits up, wincing a little from the effort, and sighs softly. His consciousness would slip from his sluggish state, always an hour or two after he was given the medicine, but only for a small time period, before he fell back into oblivion. After he was sure he wouldn't fall over from dizziness from being upright, he carefully gets to his feet, and walks over to the windowed door, reaching out to the door, pushing on it softly, blinking in surprise when it slid open. It was supposed to be locked...but now it wasn't.

His heart began to race, and he felt nervous. Was this a trap? A trick? Or was it a mere coincidence, a stroke of luck on his side, that the door was open? Whatever it was, he was going to take the risk to get out of there, while his mind was still clear. He slips out of the door, quickly making his way through the halls, not sure where he was going. He knew his clarity wouldn't last long, he had to hurry. But it was taking forever to find the front lobby. He felt panic rush through him. 'Damn! I gotta hurry! I'm not staying one more day in this hell hole of a hospital!' He thinks this to himself, and to his relief, the next corner he turned, it was where he wanted to be.

He starts to run, and bursts out of the front doors, ignoring the voices yelling behind him. The breeze on his skin, the smell of fresh air, it was overwhelming, but he didn't have time to enjoy them. He had to find somewhere safe. And quick. He runs, and runs, on and on, until he finally collapses in front of a nice looking house, passing out on the grass in the front lawn. His eyes look up at the sky, and a single tear falls from his eye as he felt his consciousness slip away, once again. He made it. He was free.

With little struggle, the brunette glared to the nurse with a growl. With a push to the male assistant, Sadao exited the room and waltzed pass the other patients to exit the building. Heaving a sigh, the ninteen year old glanced toward the sky with little thought.

--Trapped in a world of perfection by a crystal dome. Conquered by the rulers of the new city. Forced to move with the society of Utopia. Bound to take the substance for sterilization. Guinea pigs of one company. Slaves to man; zombies to another.

Yet another sigh was released as the teen approached his home. There was only little he wanted to do now. The bed was surely calling to him. Within moments, Tadashi stepped upon the porch of his property. Sluggishly the legal male stride toward the couch. It was only seconds before the long haired teen was unconscious before he could remember reaching the sofa.

--Time Skip--

Peering from the window, grey eyes captured a figure rushing through the perimeter of his home. Before the other could go any further, the trespasser collapsed before Sadao. A brow rose, the teen pushing away from the glass to approach his door. Upon opening the object between he and the person in question, Tadashi observed the other with extreme caution.

In minutes, he had the other laying onto the couch. What the hell happened with this boy? Two aspects being in question.

By the time Kohaku woke up, it was late afternoon, almost evening, his eyes opening slowly, his vision blurred, everything was fuzzy, from the ceiling above him, and all that was around him. His senses of where he was were muddled, and he felt totally confused. After a little while, his vision clears, and he sits up slowly, his whole body aching with a dull pain. Only when he was sitting up, did he notice where he was. He was no longer on the grass outside, but on a couch, inside a house. He looks around, his eyes landing on the male that was there, looking at him.

The expression on Kohaku's face as he looked at the stranger was that of pure emptiness, his eyes dulled over, no hint of emotion at all. However, a tiny spark of recognition soon flickers in his eyes, as Kohaku remembers the other male's face. He was the one from the hospital. The one he had seen come in for his first dosage of the medicine. But...why was he here? What was he doing, here in this house? Kohaku shakes his head, as if trying to clear out the proverbial cotton that was muddling his brain. His golden eyes stare up at the other male, his eyes being what had gotten him the name Kohaku, which meant amber in English.

What was going to happen? Was this guy going to throw him out, now that he was conscious? Kohaku didn't really say anything at all, instead, all he did was sit, and look up at the other male, a blank expression continuing to show on his face. He knew not that, back in the lab that was connected to the hospital, the employees were searching frantically for him, that they had sent out private agents to find him, and bring him back, if he had managed to escape the labs. He didn't know, that as of now, he was their main priority, to reclaim him. They didn't want this kind of leak in secrecy to be shown to the world. They didn't want their experiment exposed.

The soft, shallow breaths from the other had Sadao to give a frown. Bringing such a stranger into the home could be a major mistake, albeit the brunette wished to see why the other was passed out in his lawn. There was a serious doubt, subjectively, that harm would come to play. Utopia, after all, was the perfect city; at least that was what the citizens were fed.

Leaning his structure against the sofa, Tadashi heaved a sigh and smirked. What creation was this? There couldn't be a single question opposed to the gods, or one would be escorted to a facility. One that not a soul in Utopia, besides those in charge, knew of.

Grey orbs stared to the carpet beneath the pressure of his body, a hand reaching forward to unconsciously rub along the fabric. The material was a light yellow. The color favored by Sadoa's mother. Such a hue brought fourth a warm feeling. One of nurture and care. This was possibly why he couldn't miss her much while she was away.

A shift grasped the ninteen year old's attention. The brunette rotated his body, facing the one accompanying the home besides him. The figure hadn't moved any, besides the hallow breathing. Upon glancing, grey orbs clashed with amber ones. Sadao was lost in thought for a moment, only staring to the trespasser, as done unto him. Within moments, seeing that the silver haired being wasn't to move, Tadashi pursed his lips while scrutinizing the one before him.

"Let's clear something....are you female or male?" Sadao questioned, a brow raising. It was the first to come to mind. The person before him seemed to be male, albeit...sure had feminine quality. From the long hair, being hypocritical, to the smooth skin and soft curves of the jawline. Not to forget the formation of the other's lips.

The words that the other said to him, the question that was asked, took a moment to register in his mind, and took even longer for him to respond, even though it was such a simple answer that was needed. He couldn't help it though, he had next to no control over his question and response, that's why it took a bit longer than it normally would for one to reply. "I'm....male..." He replies, his voice sounding quiet, as if it hadn't been used for words in ages. That's all he said, before falling silent once again, still looking up at the stranger in front of him.

Meanwhile, in the streets, agents were searching, trying to find him. But they had no luck. So, sending in word about this mishap, a loud siren soon wailed throughout the domed city, echoing the streets, reverberating on the walls of every home and building. And right when that happened, Kohaku winces, quickly pressing his hands over his ears, his whole body cringing. He falls to his knees, curling up into a tight ball, fighting the urge to scream, to yell at the sound to stop. The scientists knew that this would happen, it was a certain "trigger" they had used in the beginning experiments to use on him when he didn't behave. It made every fiber of his entire being to burn in agony, his body racked with pain.

The t.v. in the room then flickers into life, the face of what appeared to be a doctor, or scientist, who knew, appeared. It was a broadcast, directly from the main hospital. "We are bringing you all this urgent piece of news. A convict has escaped from the main hospital, where he had been being detained for certain mental health conditions. He is currently on the loose in either central or eastern Utopia. He is of medium short male height, approximately five feet five inches, and is very slim. He has long silver hair, and golden eyes. If you have seen him, do not confront him, but contact authority immediately. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated. I repeat, do not confront him, for he is highly dangerous, instead, contact authority immediately." As the person was speaking, a picture of Kohaku was hovering above the person's left shoulder.

It was all lies. He wasn't any convict. He wasn't dangerous either. They just wanted him back. He didn't notice a word that the person had said, all he could focus on was the pain in his body, the seemingly eternal pain that wouldn't go away, as long as the sound of the siren continued to play. Stop...stop...stop!!!" He repeated it over and over, his words becoming more and more frantic, and filled with horror and fear.

Stop it...stop....STOP!!!!"

Sadao studied the other with a raised brow. He tried to figure what was up with the smaller male. The silver haired male looked at lost for words. With the stranger finally answering his question, the brunette gave a slow nod, startled by the sudden loud screech echoing through the atmosphere. Grey orbs darted to the window before he stood to approach the door. Withing a foot of opening the entrance, the television came to life, managing to grasp Tadashi's attention.

I repeat, do not confront him, for he is highly dangerous, instead, contact authority immediately."

With that, the taller male glanced to the next being in the room. Sadao gazed for a minute, watching as the other flitched in pain. After a moment, Tadashi body shook with laughter. Kind of pathetic how a convict could be loose in such a pure place, yet alone it surprised him that the upper power would even announce such a situation. He at least would have thought the gods kept this as secret as anything else, albeit it was for the saftery of people. At least that is what others would think.

Once again the brunette's attention was on the golden eyed prisoner. It said to not approach the teen. That he was dangerous. Well that was some rule that he had already broken, let alone having the escapee in his home. Sadao slowly stepped away from the inmate, reaching for a weapon. As the gun was in his possession, loaded, Tadashi aimed it to the other and glared.

"Who are you, and what the hell have you done?"" The taller male wasn't afraid of the other in the least, albeit he found it comical. The convict, to him, didn't seem too dangerous. At least not at the moment.

He hated this. He hated this so much. He clenched his teeth together, and forces himself to sit up, looking to the young man in front of him, watching as his expression changed from curiosity to fear in mere seconds. Then his eyes locked onto the other male's movements, his eyes widening as the male had reached for a gun, and was now pointing it at him, demanding for him to explain himself. Kohaku shakes his head, tears welling up in his eyes. Why did he believe the broadcast?! It was a lie!

He struggles to force himself to answer, the words like molasses in his throat. "I...am...A-Ak-Akiyama...K-Kohaku...And I-ve...done NOTHING!" He bit his tongue, blood pouring in his mouth, and finally, clarity rushed through his body, the fog in his mind clearing, the numbness of his limbs disappearing. He struggles to his feet, his knees shaking, his breathing ragged. "They are liars! Don't believe a word they say! It's a lie!" He looks to the male in front of him, his own hands by his sides, clenched into fists. He hears a sound outside, his eyes flicking towards the window.

Another reason why they wanted him, was for some reason, his body was resilient to the medicine. No matter what they put in him, his body would come up with some way of resistance. He was a medical anomaly. With clarity, he was a lot more enhanced than the normal human, his senses quite high.

A voice then calls out, right by the front door. "Akiyama, Kohaku, come out right now! We know you're in there! If you don't leave the house in five counts, we're going to break down the door!" Kohaku looks to the stranger, and then shakes his head softly. This was it. He was going back. Again. "If you want true freedom...don't let them put that shit into you!" With that, he leaves the house, and was detained, the men in uniform surrounding him. He didn't fight back, but let the nurse that was there put some kind of sedative in him, and they went back.

He passes out on the cold hard floor of his cell back in the labs, and his mind was blank. He knew it would happen again. He'd find a way out. It might take time, but he'd figure it all out. And he hoped the guy had taken his warning. That this place was all a lie.

Sadao glared to the other, a smirk being held back as he watched the smaller male stutter. The convicted teen seemed spooked at the moment. As the name fell from his lips, the brunette frowned slightly as he repeated the words in his head just in case the two was to be acquaintance, or Kahaku was to meet again later in life.

"They are liars! Don't believe a word they say! It's a lie!"

Tadashi expression changed to that of a skeptic, although he continued to lower the weapon. The taller male wasn't frighten of the other, but he was to be in custody of the gods for a reason. There was something that the silver haired teen caused to have him as a prisoner. At least it was what the brunette was hopeful of. Not for the sake of hatred for a criminal, but because of injustice. It wouldn't be the idea Utopia if one was apprehended for no apparent reason.

"Akiyama, Kohaku, come out right now! We know you're in there! If you don't leave the house in five counts, we're going to break down the door!"

The voice startled Sadao, grey orbs darting back to the trespasser. It seemed that the officers had found the other's location. It was a bit strange though. The elder of the two didn't want for Kohaku to leave. Even though there was a huge possibility that the other was a criminal, Sadao felt as if he could give the teen the benefit of the doubt.

"If you want true freedom...don't let them put that shit into you!"

With that last statement Tadashi stared after the other as he left the capacity of his home.

While Kohaku was out of it, asleep in his cell, the staff of the building and the "gods" were talking in a hidden meeting room, to discuss the matter of Kohaku's actions. They were arguing, bickering between themselves, not sure what to do with him. They were afraid that Kohaku would escape again, this time leaking information about what they were really doing in the hospital and labs of the perfected city. It took nearly three hours for them to come to a conclusion. Let Kohaku out of the hospital, let him live IN the city, under the pretense that he was free to do as he wished, but in reality, keeping a very tight leash on the boy. They'd make sure nothing like what had taken place that day ever happened again.

While he was asleep, the team that had taken care of Kohaku gathers things together, writing information, filled out necessary paperwork and such, so that Kohaku could be "released" from the clutches of the hospital. They placed a tracking device in his body as well, and when all of that was finished, they moved his unconscious body to a new location, a small apartment within the city, coincidentally enough, near the house where Kohaku had been hiding out. They wanted it to be close enough, so that maybe the two would meet. Who knew what would happen?

After a few more hours, Kohaku wakes up, his mind groggy once more. He was laying on a soft bed, and covered with a warm blanket. He sits up slowly, his eyes shifting over everything. He knew, that despite his mulled mind, he was no longer in the confines of the hospital. Carefully, he gets up out of bed, noticing the clothing on his body felt different, and looks down. Instead of seeing the itchy white outfit of the hospital, he sees he was wearing red flannel pajamas. A small frown forms on his face, but he thinks nothing of it. For now, he needed to find out where he was.

He walks around the house, it was big for someone who was living by themselves, and a tiny spark flickers in his mind. He was actually in a house...of his own. Going to the front window, he looks out of it, and blinks in surprise. He was in a house, that was across the street from the house he had been in earlier that day. But why? He didn't think about it really, but continued to stare outside. All of the neighbors had been watching the movers, making sure to keep out of the way, but wondering what was going on.

Sadao was staring to the screen of the electronic for a little over an hour now. It was, once again, playing the informative advertisement of the sterilizing substance. The government didn't much broadcast today, having a continuation of commercials from days before. Tadashi took a hold of the remote for the television only to touch the power button. The brunette was tired of the typical entertainment for today. The alone time would end soon. Sadoa's parents would return in less than two hours. With an exhausted sigh, he began to become lost in thought.

--That convict. What was his name again? Aki...yama, Ko...ha...ku? Warning me to resist the sterilization fluid. What was he on about? Clearly I'm no fool to think this is Utopia, but there isn't much I can do about it. I cherish life, and I'm pretty damn sure life isn't what the gods are taking away here. Maybe there is something of equal quality. The perfected city, huh? We'll see.

Closing his eyes, the young adult managed to fall asleep even with the silence ringing in his ear. He was sure to be awaken later by his parents. Sleeping on the couch was a pet peeve of his mother's, albeit it had its advantages. Especially if he did not plan to oversleep.

-x-

"Could you at least have the decency to remove your shoes before sleeping upon the couch." The woman of the house spoke as she stared to her offspring. There was a noticeable annoyance lingering in her voice, albeit her face showed no sign of anger.

Sluggishly opening his eyes, a hand coming up to wipe at the slobber, Tadashi groaned and raised himself to a slouched position. "Yeah, yeah. Did you bring me something to eat?" He asked, grey orbs zeroing in on the bag in his mother's arms.

The woman gave a heavy sigh at the slight disrespect, pushing the purchased meals forward. "You should cherish me more or maybe I'll no longer buy for you. Anyways....we have a new family in the neighborhood. Across the street there."She spoke, pointing to the home.

The youngest of the three approached the glass to peer out of. He wondered should he introduce himself or just stay put.

After standing in the front room, staring out the window for nearly fifteen minutes, Kohaku moves away from the glass, letting the drapes that covered the window fall back into place. He sighs softly, not sure why he was there, but it had to be for some reason right? He struggles to think of an answer, but his mind was so muddled he couldn't get a clear thought through his head. It was a pain alright.

He moves from the living room back to his bedroom, opening a closet that was inside his room, and sees several different shirts hanging up, coats and such as well. He reaches up, pulling one down that caught his eye. It was a yellow and black checkered shirt. He takes off the pajamas he was wearing, pulling this on in place of it. Over the shirt he pulled a elbow length black sweater, with a white mark on it, and some yellow as well. Black pants and a yellow belt follow.

Once he was dressed, he goes back downstairs, and pulls on a pair of black converse, the laces yellow, the star yellow as well. He sighs again, and opens the door, stepping outside. He lets the light wind that was blowing tug at his hair, the scent of different flowers assailing his nose. He takes a deep breath, and sighs, a small smile forming on his lips. He closes the door behind him, and walks down the front steps, sitting on the bottom, just relaxing, looking out at the view in front of him. Birds flew in the sky, and squirrels played on trees. A dog barks in the distance, and a couple of crows were bickering. This was all so new to him.

Sadao glanced toward his parents once more before giving a nod. Deciding to meet the person next door the brunette scrolled out the house, food in hand. With slow steps Tadashi approached the home across the street. There was a nagging question that continued to run through his head. The perfected city wasn't to take anymore residents. If that was so, how was it that this person had a chance to move here. The capacity was untouched; empty. There was always room for another civilian, albeit with the dome it was impossible for another to enter. That was, unless, the creators never gave such information.

--So, there is a way to leave this Utopia. Wonder why we were never told. The gods can't think that it's actually possible to have a perfected city, do they? Humans are humans. There are characteristics we are bound to have. That of jealousy, dignity, selfishness, attraction, anger, craving, and laziness. Also known as the sins of envy, pride, greed, lust, wrath, gluttony, and sloth. Had the idealist not think of such traits? Ah...or maybe he has. Food supplies were only served during breakfast, lunch and dinner periods. So there isn't a coincidence. Seems that the gluttony was under control, or so they thought. There wasn't a way to buy extra food. Only it could be purchased during certain hours in the day. A meal, a person. All resident were given identical meals. With that, there could be no criticism.

The need for purchasing besides food was nonexistent. For once, mankind was given to. Again, all vehicles, homes, furniture, etc were indistinguishable. This, supposedly, eliminated pride, envy, lust, and greed. Hmph, what a joke. So, it seems the gods had planned ahead. Comical. As long as there is a difference about even one aspect, it all fails. Their biggest mistake is us. With the beauty of a woman, compared to the next, the traits will surface. Utopia was impossible. I can't wait to see when the plan is a fail.

After becoming once again mindful of his surroundings, Sadao was towering over another. Blinking slightly, he stepped back quickly to bow. "My apologies, I was deep in thought." He informed, cautiously glancing up. With the familiar features, Sadao stood once more. Brows furrowed, he opened his mouth to speak.

"You're....Akiyama, Kohaku. What are you doing here?" The brunette questioned, glancing to eiither side to look for more men searching for the silver haired beauty.

As he was sitting there, quietly minding his own business, a shadow suddenly falls over him. He slowly looks up, blinking in surprise, well, somewhat surprise, enough for someone who was like a zombie to the world, when he saw who was standing there in front of him. It was the male from before, the one whom he had talked to before being captured once again by the 'gods'. He tilts his head when the other speaks, stating the fact more than asking, his name was Akiyama, Kohaku, before going on to ask what he was doing there. Then looking around, as if checking for something.

All Kohaku did was nod for the first statement, and like before, his response to the second took some time. "They...let me go..." He replies, his voice once again slow and unsure, not clear like his last words to the other male. He glances at the other male's face, a blank expression on his own. "And you can...call me Kohaku..." He doesn't even realize he didn't know the other's name, but that hadn't even once processed in his muddled mind. He stands up, brushing off dirt from the bottom of his pants, his movements slow, reminding one of a snail.

In the labs, scientists were watching this little meeting, as they had set up cameras inside and outside of Kohaku's house, as well as adding mics so they could not only see what was happening, but hear what was being said as well. They glance at each other, wondering just what would happen. Would the two become close? Would they become friends? They knew that Kohaku was what people called a 'pretty' person, a bit better looking than the average human. Would this affect his being there? Who knew, but to them, this was all an experiment.

With a stare to the beautiful male the brunette frowned. Once again scrutinizing the surrounding, Sadao gave a low groan before grasping the other's arm and snatching him to stand. With grey orbs glaring, Tadashi gently pushed the younger teen forward. He wanted to be out of the view of or prying eyes. Just in case someone decided to stand by to pay attention. Resident was quite nosey after all.

"Are you expecting me to believe this? What the hell is going on here? I find it quite stupid that the creators would just...let you go." He spoke, the last few words being spat with disgust. With a heavy exhale, the eldest beckoned for the newly freed criminal to open the door of the home.

"So tell me....is there anything that you remember?" He questioned, a brow raising. Sadao was even more curious as to why the gods would release the silver haired beauty.

--I wonder what their intentions are? A pretty dumb move for them to release a victim of their harsh doing. What could be given from this guy having his freedom? The idealist really is making mistake after mistake lately. Soon enough...the fools will make one that ever citizen can catch a hold of.

With that thought Tadashi focused on the male before him. The delusional teen could be the answer. Sadao wondered if the fellow was to go around and talk of his experience in Utopia would others believe. There were surely some that wouldn't and that could not be denied. The brunette himself was never one to trust too often, albeit it came in handy at this point in time more than others.

Kohaku merely stood there, watching as the other male looked at him, listening to him speak. Even though he had been asked a question, Kohaku said nothing, not sure as to what to say, the response just wasn't coming to him at all. Blinking a little when the other gestured for him to open the door to his house so that they could go inside, Kohaku shakes his head. But he knew the other wouldn't take no for an answer, and so opened the door anyways, stepping inside, and allowing the other in as well, and once he was, closed the door.

But even as he was asked another question, Kohaku just shakes his head again. It's not that he didn't remember, it w as more he was getting a feeling, from deep within him, that it wasn't safe to talk here, not in his house at least. Slowly, he raises a finger to his lips, motioning for the other to be quiet, to stop asking questions like that. He utters one words to the other male. "Quiet." He then points to the couch, motioning for him to sit down. He didn't want this man, the one who had been somewhat nice to him, to get into trouble for the things he was saying.

They were watching all of this from the lab. The encounter, the talk afterwards. From when Kohaku let him into the house, to the moment Sadao Tadashi began questioning Kohaku. For some reason, Kohaku wasn't answering the other male. Usually, he obeyed everyone, answering questions when ordered, but this time, the other wasn't doing that at all, instead he was denying the older male any kind of reply at all, the only thing he actually said was for Sadao to be quiet. The people look at each other, wondering what was going on. Did Kohaku know something they didn't? Did the silver haired youth know there were cameras and microphones? He couldn't know, they had installed these prior to him moving in...They decide to watch longer, to see what happened.

Kohaku looks to the other male, and sighs softly. He wasn't exactly sure what to say, but... He just then gets the realization he didn't know the other male's name. "What...what do I call you?" He asks, before sitting on the couch, his eyes following his new acquaintance's every move. What was going to happen to them? Were they watching? Did they know what was going on. His eyes never left the other's presence, but he felt as if something, somewhere, was watching them from some hidden location. His deep, inner self knew that he had to be careful. One wrong turn, one slip up, and it could spell The End for the both of them.

The younger male had allowed them both entrance. With stepping into the home, the brunette was expecting an answer, though it never came. Kohaku had wanted for him to stay quiet. The command was answered with a glare, albeit Tadashi would say nothing more. He supposed it was a bit insensitive to have question the smaller teen of his past when it could have been traumatizing. Deciding to give in, Sadao took the space next to Akiyama.

There was silence between the two, not a word being muttered. The brunette began to wonder was Kohaku functioning as a normal human should. He seemed off; sluggish. When about to question the other once more, the newly freed victim spoke first.

"What...what do I call you?"

That was right. He had asked for the silver haired teen name, however he never gave his. Never seen the use to because of the situation. Giving an exhale and slouching against the couch, the brunette closed his eyes. "Tadashi, Sadao. That's my given name by a woman that meant much to me." He informed, a saddened expression taking over his facial features. Always, there was a lingering worry for the woman. With being trapped inside the perfected city, there was no way he could expect to see her again. It all faded a while ago. That someone had been out of his life for so long. Sadao even wondered why he held such feelings for that lady.

"So you're a resident." It was the start of a new life for Kohaku. "Welcome."

"Tadashi...Sadao..." He repeats, making sure that the name was set firmly in his head, so that he didn't forget later. Kohaku watches as Sadao's face saddened at the mention of the woman who had given him the name, making him wonder if he was speaking of his mother. He wanted to know what to say to comfort the other male, but his mind was so fuzzy he didn't know what to say, so just sat there, watching Sadao. He flinches a little when the other speaks up again suddenly, but relaxes after a bit.

He didn't think much about becoming a 'new resident' as Sadao stated, but he inclines his head. "....Thanks...." He replies, a small smile on his lips, a rare form of expression he hardly ever used anymore. It hurt to smile. Not after all that had happened. Not after what they had done. He lets his smile fall from his face after a few seconds of holding it there, resuming his original expression. Blank and pretty much emotionless. It felt wrong to be happy, when they couldn't feel anything at all.

His eyes unfocused as he remembers his past, the color of blood red filling his vision. Screams echoing in his head. The sounds of gunfire. And pain. Unimaginable pain. His body begins to tremble slightly, and he feels his jaw clench. Shaking his head slightly, he tries to empty his head of the memories, but knew it was no good. They'd always be there. Those memories of his past, the ones that had changed his life forever. Glancing over at Sadao, he sighs softly. "Is...there anything else....you wanted?" He asks slowly. It wasn't like he wanted the other gone, he just wasn't sure what to do.

Sadao was in question, however he remained quiet. It seemed like a want for peace; comfort. It didn't take a rocket scientist to become aware of the other's strange behavior. Something was off. Even more so than when first meeting. There was hesitance present. Had the acquit become untrusting even of him? Surely neither had a bond, albeit information was exchanged before. One that seemed dire to Kohaku.

Sucking against his teeth, Tadashi pursed his lips slightly before staring down to the meal in hand. He wondered had the silver haired beauty had something to eat. "Have you eaten?" The brunette asked, deciding to change the subject. No, there was nothing more he needed of the one beside him, albeit Sadao didn't want to leave. There was a peculiar bond he felt toward the younger male.

"We are only given three meals a day. Not a gradual amount, albeit I'm willing to share. Isn't like I'll starve." Unwrapping the content inside. "I'm not sure if you know much about this place. However, with you being convicted of crimes...I suggest you know more than me, huh? Well," he started once more "I suppose you wouldn't mind discussing it, yeah? The whole operation of this place is messy. Hmph, but I at least like the ideal, however, not even the effort putting into it. Can't buy anythjng, aside the purchase of this food. Parents all scheduled for a job. Tsk, not even worth it. All for the need to eat." Pulling from the plastic a spoon.

"You know," Leans next to smaller male's ear to whisper. "their whole plan is to eliminate the judgment of one human to the next. Mmm...as if that could happen." Voice octave dropping once more, the sound being nearly inaudible. "Especially with a beauty as yours."

For a moment, nothing was said until Sadao speaks up again, asking if he'd eaten yet. Kohaku nods, even though he hadn't really. He just wasn't hungry yet. He listens to everything the other says, watching his every movement. However when the other starts talking about the city, Kohaku tenses slightly. He didn't feel comfortable with the other speaking the way he was, nor when the other got close, speaking low into his ear. And then he blushes deeply when the other called him 'a beauty'.

He could feel his self returning, the words the other said speeding the process. Before Sadao could say any more, Kohaku presses his and against the other males mouth, and then shoves him to the floor, so Sadao was laying on his back, and Kohaku was sitting on his lower stomach, his legs set on either side of Sadao's torso, his hand pressed firmly against Sadao's mouth. His cheeks were bright red at the position they were in, but he had to stop the other from speaking again. Especially like he was against the city.

"Be quiet!" Kohaku hisses, his eyes narrow, and a frown on his lips. It was obvious his consciousness was clearing. "Do you wanna get yourself killed?!?" If the other tried to protest, he grabs the front of Sadao's shirt, and pulls the other close, with strength that his scrawny body hid from view. Their faces barely inches from each other, but out of view from camaras. "Shut. The. Fuck. Up." His voice low, and very annoyed. The closeness to the other male was making his body heat up, his heart race. He tried ignoring the tight, clenching sensation in his lower stomach, and the flush on his face got redder, but he was determined to make Sadao be quiet.

Sadao thought, for once, that he had met another he could share troubled thoughts with. Wrong. It turned toxic. Kohaku didn't seem to agree with the subject. He was tensed, and flushed; as well as Sadao though for different reasons, or so he thought.

A low cackle fell from Sadao lips. For a moment all seemed amusing. The silver handed beauty was right. He'd get himself killed if continued to talk against the city, but what did it matter? Not as if life would be much enjoyable with the way things were. With seizing the laughter, the brunette spoke.

"It doesn't matter any! We all are a victim to this shit and you think everyone will be as you are? Ok with it? Well...I'm. Not." There was a stern expression on Tadashi's face, having snarled at the smaller male above him. By now, his embarrassment of the position was long gone. Just dwelling on the subject at hand pissed him off.

Lifting himself, elbows now against the surface, an exhale escaped from his mouth. What the hell was he doing? Such a waste of time.

--I can't expect Kohaku to think as I do. Unlike him, I don't care for living here. If that was a chance to be killed, then what does it matter? Although....it wouldn't change much. That would be a waste. This beauty...maybe he's been through enough. His first time of freedom and I'm shoving this shit down his throat. Of course he cared for his life, because it has been a while since he had one. Wow. Am I that insensitive?

The words the other spoke, the look in his eyes, made Kohaku even more angry and annoyed. "It does matter!" He retorts, his teeth gritting. What was with this guy? Did he really not care about his life that much? "And I never said I was okay with it. I just want to survive..." He releases the front of Sadao's shirt, and slowly stands up, moving away from the older male, tears stinging at his eyes, his throat tight. "If you ha to go through what I did, you'd understand."

He continues to move away, until he was standing by the door. Kohaku looks to Sadao, his eyes shimmering with unshed tears. Opening the front door, he motions for Sadao to go. He knew he'd have to tell him one way or another, but not here, not in his house. Anywhere but here was safer. "Let's go." He walks out, and down the front steos, making his way across the front walk way to the sidewalk. Glancing back, he wondered if Sadao would follow.

Usually, when Kohaku was clear of influence of the drug, he was withdrawn, quiet, preserved, but when it came to the matter between life and death...that was a whole other story. He cherished the life he had, and wasn't about to just throw it away. And he wasn't going to let Sadao do that with his life either. Not if he could help it.

Taking a left on the sidewalk, he goes at random, not really trying to get to a particular place, but anywhere that was away from his house, and was secluded and private, away from prodding eyes and ears. He glances back again, hoping that the other would come with. He wanted to know so badly...well this would be the only time he'd tell Sadao anything.

Survive. Such a cruel word to say in such a city. Why was there a need to fight for one's life when it was said to be Utopia. When it was said to be perfected. There was a known fact that in order to seize violence, it had to be committed. Though, it didn't particularly match with the current condition. The gods had a brutal idea. Something that wasn't seen as good in moral judgment. Sickening.

Sadao was released from the grip; sneering and sitting in an upright position. Grey orbs followed the movement of the smaller male.

"If you had to go through what I did, you'd understand."

Just as expected. It was obvious that the beauty would feel this way. His life seemed difficult until now, but it was cherished. Sighing slightly, the brunette stood and followed the other's lead. He thought that the silver haired acquit would throw him out, but it didn't seem so.

--So we will finally talk huh? Why is it that we couldn't do so here? Hm...maybe I'm just being insensitive again. Kohaku possibly just needs air.

Trailing the other's route, Sadao's mind wondered off. There had to be a missing link.
