Year 2030, the world has not changed by much. Technology is still on it's way in to perfection. Wars between nations and strife within nations still exist. Politics still took power. The only change was that the people live and people die. Those in power are replaced by their sons, and the sons of their sons. Another change was that the natural resources has become so scarce that nations wage wars for territories. This may look bad, but in the everyday life of the everyday people, nothing has change.

However, June 14, 2030, a big meteor half the size of the moon was set to crash on earth. If they collide, it is predicted that not just humanity, not even all life forms... but the earth itself will cease to exist. To respond against this crisis, The Union of Allied Nations used a newly discovered chemical that has more power that a nuclear bomb. It was called Venorium - an element solely found in venomous arthropods.A missile with concentrated Venorium was launched to space to destroy the Meteor. It succeeded in saving the earth from the meteor. However, not completely destroying all of it, tiny pieces of the meteor coated with Venorium scattered all around the world. People directly hit by the meteorite mutates into some form of humongous arthropod of some sort. They lost their cognition and starts attacking humans. They are called First Generation Infector .Humans who had gotten direct contact with the First Generation transforms into an Infector as well. They are called Second Generation Infector. They are weaker than the First Generation. However, they are capable of reproducing. They are called the Third Generation Infector. They are weaker than the other two but they move in massive number. Those who get in contact with them transform into a Second Generation Infector. And so the cycle continues. The world may have avoided its end from the meteor, however, humanity was still on it's way to extinction. Only, there was an exception.

Boys with the age of fifteen to seventeen are somehow capable of resisting the mutation upon contact with the meteorite. They become infected...like any other but they do not transform. They rather posses a strange power and they do not age. They are called Catalysts. They are also resistant from transforming upon contact with the Infector. They are what you could call humanity's last hope. The Catalysts, however, are shunned by the majority of the society. They are treated as someone who threaten the humanity.. they are treated as ...Infectors. To prove themselves useful, The Catalysts agreed into forming partnership with Eliminators - normal people who are skilled enough to fight against the Infector.

The roleplay is set five years later, by the year 2035 where only 1/50 of the original population remains and the rest has been killed or turned into Infectors.

Name:
Yūyake Shīzun

Age:
17 (22)

Model:
Monkey

Weapon:
Variety

Skills
(in details):
Trap Tool- This particular skills takes time and concentration. Yūyake

has to build a sequence of traps which will all be followed chronologically, from one trap to

another and so fourth, dealing a great amount of damage if performed correctly. This can

only be used when loaded with materials.

Explosive paperbag- Time and hard work is spent into making an explosive identical to that

of a harmless paper bag. It has the explosion of a small C4 with the radius of 5 meters. Can

be used until all the materials is used.

Analyze- With time on his hands, Yūyake is able to find ones weakness, as well as abilities.

This of course could take up to an hour depending on the strength of said monster/enemy.

Often hurts his head due to the intense concentration. One touch can ruin his whole examination; therefore will have to start from the top.

Combine- With his intelligence, the brunette is able to make a weapon from scratch,

depending on his gathered items. He is able to add a source of element onto a weapon,

although this can take more time. It's not magic, just the ability of sort. Ex: The flames of a

lighter. Electricity of a broken wire, etc.

Pinpoint Accuracy- With the help of mathematics, the Catalyst is able to hit an idle enemy

wherever he pleases. Works best with projectiles at a distance of 10-20 meters.

Personality:
Carefree spirit with a will to live. Can be secluded when frustrated.

Hates to be ignored and thinks all should heed his commands, albeit hates when the roles are

switched. Yūyake also can be utterly stubborn, although he knows this but doesn't care.

Bio:
Yūyake never found living life as a Catalyst fun. There was always difficulty in his

life, his own village deciding to shun him once they heard of his special abilities, ones the

intelligent teen tried his hardest to hide. Citizens always knew there was something about

him, despite that fact, there was never any details. Although since the invasion of infected

people, the brunette set him self out to prove his existence. Once he was a hero, maybe

people will accept him again.

CHIBIMONKEY

tumblr_mkb1l1XuNP1s20bydo1_500.jpg

NAME

Akuma Tsunemori

AGE

17 (22)

MODEL

Rooster

WEAPON

Handgun

SKILLS

Lock

Where Akuma can move an item/object with his mind - levitating it, and

control its movements and direction. However, this can only be up to a

certain weight. For example, he couldn't just levitate a building. He can

hardly levitate a car, and if he does, it takes a lot of concentration and

exhausts him, so, it would be foolish to move a car, unless a do or die

situation. He mainly uses this with small projectiles, such as why he

prefers a handgun as a weapon. He typically uses Lock with his gun and

bullets, so if he shoots, and the target moves, he can make sure the bullet

hits them.

Soar

This is basically where he can allow himself to levitate, and move himself.

It is his most popular and commonly used skill. It doesn't need much

explaining - he can just pretty much levitate himself, make himself float in

the air and move about in it.

Control

With this he can levitate and move others with his powers. Such as

levitating them and say throwing them or something. This is limited,

however, and he can only levitate up to five people at one time.

Wind

He can somewhat control wind, to an extend, because of his levitation

skills and ability. The way this works is that he can cause dirt on the

ground to rise up from a gust of wind, and create a dust, or sandstorm -

or anything light enough really, even papers, having whatever the chosen

material or object is fly around the area. This mainly helps with defensive,

and creating impaired vision, making it hard to see and aim well.

PERSONALITY

Akuma is very reserved and keeps to himself. He dislikes relationships, be it

friends or romantic, he wants nothing to do with them, mainly because he

believes he is nothing but trash, just like infectors. He is very cold on the

outlook on life, and doesn't try to be optimistic or brighten things up.

Really though, he's just a very sad and lonely guy, who needs someone to

care for him, prove to him its alright. He of course doesn't even realize this

is what he really wants or needs, which leads to him being cold on the

outside.

BIO

It took Akuma's parents forever to get pregnant. They had tried for years,

and his mother had several miscarriages, or was not healthy enough to

give birth, and various other reasons. Finally, when they did get pregnant,

they were to expect twins. They were overjoyed, as everything seemed

fine and healthy, and it seemed she would carry to term, and have two

healthy sons. However, during the pregnancy, one of the two couldn't fully

develop. Because of the placement of the two fetus' in the womb, one

couldn't get enough oxygen, and the other was getting more of the

nutrients provided by the mother and the food. The weaker fetus was

starving, and died. Of course, this is a natural thing to happen on twin

pregnancies, and happens rather often. If the placement of the fetus' is a

certain way, one could easily have more of an advantage. Obviously it isn't

anything that the babies control, or that they know, it just happens

naturally. But when found out there was now only one baby inside her

womb, they grew worried and fearful. They saw an oracle to maybe get

some insight about their child still living inside. It was told he'd be

destructive, alone, having a cruel path ahead in his life. Ever since he was

born, his parents feared him. They named him Akuma - meaning 'demon',

and when he became infected, and a catalyst, they completely abandoned

and gave up hope on him. Through his whole life, Akuma never really had

the comfort of his parents, so he wasn't surprised when they left him. He

grew up hating himself, lonely and afraid of making connections with

anyone. When he found out he was a catalyst, he only hated himself that

much more. This was the cause for everything. What the oracle must have

foreseen and told his parents, making them automatically hate him from

the start. And now, everyone had automatic reason to hate him. So he

hated infectors for creating the reaction and beings of catalysts. He hated

infectors, catalysts, no matter the generation, he wanted them all dead.

He believed he shouldn't be alive either. But this being the one true thing

he believes in, that's why he fights to stop and kill the infectors. But he

doesn't believe he is any better or different than them.

Gin has the ability to be able to look at night just like

cats. That allows him to move freely at night withought any

problem. Also his vision is excellent and never misses a tager

as he has gained the instincts and reflexes of a tiger.

Silent walk:

One more ability that allows him to move freely withought

beeing heared by his ''prey'' He can also move very fast and

not be noticed by anyone.

Silent execution:

Combining his ability silent walk, with fast moves he can get

behind the enemy's back and stab him. It's one one his

stronger attacks as no one was able to notice him or see him.

In a second the enemy might be dead with a few mistakes.

Dancing daggers:

He can throw his daggers far away to hit his target. He can

also direct them with strings or hit multiply objects till he

reaches the target. Mostly he throws anesthetic needles that

he curries with him so that will make the enemy get paralized

completely with the instricts and reflexes of a wild tiger. He

can be deadly not only to his enemies but to himself too.

PERSONALITY:

Gin is mostly quiet. He likes to sleep and he hates it when

they wake him up forcefully. He likes quiet and peace but

seems like he can't find it right after knowing that he is a

catalyst. He is not afraid of people but on the other hand

they do once they see the tiger stripes on his back and neck.

Gin always hiding under his cloths.

BIO:

When Gin was born everything was fine. He was a quiet kid but

he had a passion with all kind of cats. He knew everything

about them. His mother never liked animals. When Gin was

trying to act like a cat or play with them at the yard his

mother would go mad and beat him. Gin couldn't find peace into

his own house as his father was not at home often. One night

Gin had enough, he left the house! He didn't know where to go

when he passed by a zoo. He got in secretly and went to his

favourite place, where the wild white tigers were. He

approached them slowly but the tigers seemed to be fine with

him. He didn't knew why but they accepted him. That night Gin

realized that he was not normal. An awful pain like burning on

his back couldn't let him sleep that night. The next day when

he saw the stripes on his body he finally knew what he was. He

was a Catalyst! He should have known that he wasn't normal. As

he was in panic he tried to run away from there before they

find him and kill him! A cub tiger though was following him

and wouldn't leave his side. Gin knew that this cub from now

on would be his only company so he raised him and named him

Dai. He never saw his parents or his friends. He is leaving in

abandoned place with Dai.

Ieyasu Godo

24 Years

'Gunslinger'

newcreate.php?text=Weapon&name=TOY_S___.ttf&size=30&style_color=172347

Ieyasu usually prefers two Guns in his hands, though he doesn’t have a preferred type of gun. But he isn’t picky about his weapons. He could also fight with dagger or something. As long as it’s an Anti-Venorium weapon, everything is fine. Though he does prefer his guns ‘Melt’ and ‘Break’ in fights.

newcreate.php?text=Skills&name=TOY_S___.ttf&size=30&style_color=172347

Rapid Fire:

Only used in dire situations since Godo prefers killing with one well aimed shot usually. Like the name suggests, firing in a fast pace and thus sacrificing some of his accuracy. Costs lots of bullets and there is a high chance of him running low on them.

Left Hand (Melt):

Attacks with his left gun called ‘Melt’, dealing not only damage with the shot but also applying poison if the enemy should survive.

Right Hand (Break):

Attacks with his right gun called ‘Break’, dealing damage with the shot but also causing inner bleeding due to the fact that the bullet shatters when hitting something.

Dual Wielding (Melt and Break):

Used against stronger and bigger Infectors. Dealing both of his weapons’ advantages. Costs more ammunition than attacking with only one of his guns.

newcreate.php?text=Personality&name=TOY_S___.ttf&size=30&style_color=172347

Ieyasu has a cold personality. He is usually not seen happy or anything of the like. He doesn’t want to get closer to others so he favours those that don’t want to get closer to him either. Though he is a bit anti social due to this, he is a good partner as long as no strings are attached. Since he lost so much in his past he doesn’t want to be friends with anyone since he would only feel sorrow if they died. So he shut himself off and declined every advance. Due to his past he also got slightly crazy, but only when fighting.

newcreate.php?text=Bio&name=TOY_S___.ttf&size=30&style_color=172347

When the pieces of the meteor fell down on earth he had to watch his family become first generation infectors. He saw them change and eat those dear to them. It was sheer luck that Godo himself wasn’t hit and found still alive in the end. But that event edged into his mind forever and he only felt hatred and got a twisted personality when fighting. Suffer; they should suffer for what they are, for what they have become and for what they did. So Godo gladly volunteered to learn to become an Eliminator. Now he had been an Eliminator for around a year and the Catalyst’s were found. But obviously it didn’t really sit well with him to join someone that could also be an Infector. But time would only tell if these ‘humans’ were really just special humans or if they would take advantage of their power.

+
Whirlwind
: Turning Ryo himself into a spinning death-dealer, capable of passing through huge enemies and hitting dozens of targets with a single use of the skill.

BIO
: Ryo Ransu, son of the top scientist, expertised in weapon and armory. He was trainned by good teachers, arranged by his father, he learned kungfu as a way of life, not as a fighting style. Later on, he used his skill to help his father, testing out his weapons in labs and experiment. However, the last five years from the Meteor accident, everything changed, the earth changed, so did his father; he began to induldge himself in study for Anti-Venorium material and pushed Ryo to be an Eliminator, which he didn't go against his father. Ryo, however, witnessed everything, is unchanged, except that his goal in life how is to put down the Infectors, to set peace for the world and for everyone, including the Catalysts.

Infectors are mutated humans in a form an anthropod-like creatures which was caused by direct contact of a meteorite coated with venorium or by being bitten by an infector. An infector are categorized into Three GGenerations which are as follows.

1st Generation Infector - Mutated humans caused by being hit by the meteorite with venorium. Though rare, they are the strongest among all Infectors. They are also capable of commanding 2nd and 3rd Generation Infectors.

2nd Generation Infector - Mutated humans caused by being bitten by an Infector or by allowing any bodily fluids of an infector inside our body. Weaker than the First Generation Infectors but stronger than the 3rd Generation Infectors

3rd Generation Infector - Infectors reproduced by 2nd Generation Infectors. They are by far the weakest among them all, but they move in massive number.

Also, Infectors are categorized into three Types.

Aerial - Infectors with the ability to fly

Crawler - Most common infectors. They crawl in land

Swimmer - Rare Infectors with the ability to operate underwater.

Catalysts are boys at age of 15 to 17 which were hit by the meteorite. For some odd reasons, they were able to resist mutation and instead gain power capable of defeating Infectors. Scientists claim that it is because boys of that age are capable of producing an unknown hormone that disrupts the process of mutation, leaving behind the ability that comes with it.

Although there's still much to know about Catalysts, one confirmed trait they all have is that they don't age. So even if ten or 20 years has passed by, they will retain their appearance. Scientists believe it's because Catalysts, though humans, contains genetic codes from that of an infector which in return disrupts the process of growing and aging.

Catalysts are categorized into Models based on the skills and abilities they had. Models are named after the Chinese Zodiac.

Though they don't have extraordinary abilities like that of a Catalyst, they weild anti-venorium weapons which are lethal both to infectors and Catalysts.

The remaining population of human race is only about 15 million while Infectors has an estimated population of 100 million and growing. Humans have retreated to "Areas" which are closed colonies sorrounded by anti-Venorium walls to fend off Infectors. Japan, with an estimated population of 1,200,000 million has its base in Tokyo under the name "Area Eleven."

Like some of my other roleplays, we will use the 'ARC SYSTEM'. That is to say, for every major events in the RP, an Arc will be given. Characters may be allowed to die in an RP. I don't suggest this, but well, i'll leave the option open. When your character dies, you are allowed to make a new one (and you'll be partnered up with your previous partner by default, though some arrangements could be made). Take note that if you want your character to die, you will not be allowed to make a new character until the next arc. Also, Character skills are upgradeable every arc. So if you want to add something, please post your upgraded Character sheet in the recruitment thread before the start of the new arc.

Project Noah. Five years ago, in response to the sudden emergence of Infectors, Humanity has discarded the previous government system and formed 'Project Noah'. Project Noah centers its focused around Infectors as Five Major Divisions were created to further unify the new system. Infector Elimination and Civil Security Division (
IECSD
) are to kill Infectors and to prevent them from invading Areas; Anti-Venorium Weaponry and Armory Division (
AWAD
) are to create Anti-Venorium weapons for Eliminators to use as well as to invent new weapons; Mutation Prevention and Detection Division (
IPDD
) are to prevent further mutation as well as to detect possible individuals which may transform into Infectors; Infector and Catalyst Information and Research Division (
ICIRD
) are to gather informations with regards to Infectors and Catalysts, their Origin, genes/cells as well as the source of their superhuman powers. Lifestyle Restoration and Infector Education Division (
LRIED
) are to educate citizens about Infectors as well as teaching them how to adapt the current world. But unbeknownst to all, a secret Division was also created together with the five - "NextEv Project Division" (
NEPD
) there's little to no information available with regards to this Division.

would like to keep it that way, but

we're at the point where we can't do

that anymore That's why, you

Last night, three areas fell

New Zealand, Chile, and

Mexico. Thinking logically,

there's no way they will fall down

almost at the same time... unless

the enemy are getting organized.

We have tracked down the pattern

they use in their attacks, and

with the addition of the three, we

have identified the next Area to be attacked.

Japan. The pattern is a

parallelogram. To complete it, the

next area to be attacked will be

Area Eleven Japan. Well, for some

odd reason, Infector activities

decreased after last night's

attack. It must be because it's

mating season for them again.

Also, they probably know that a

big battle will occur should they

attack Japan. They're conserving

strength as they multiply their numbers.

Yes. You are to interrupt

that requires time. We cannot fall

Kazuya was the one doing the asking. He's rather talkative when it comes to Infectors. When the Sergeant left, he looked at the guys as he recognized some of them. They were well known Eliminators and Catalysts who operates by themselves... a 'solo player' should this have been an MMORPG. Such was his case as well. But early this morning, he received a strict order to head to the headquarters and to cease all activities. He found it weird but even after asking, his superiors doesn't know the reason either. In the end, he has no option but to comply.

"So, we're told to pair up. And it seems like we have no say in this matter. Who'd like to pair with me?" Kazuya asked, his expression not changing from the poker face he always had. It's not like he doesn't know how to express himself. He gets angry, he gets happy and he shows it should he had to. But he was with bunch of strong strangers and he had to stay with them from now on. he's not very much happy about it, but he's not against it either. There was no need for him to feel happy or mad.

"I don't care who it is. As long as you don't hinder me." he said. It might have sounded cocky coming from him, but he actually meant that he was not choosy and that he was fine with anyone as long as they are of help.

Akuma was a bit irritated he was dragged along to come to this meeting. He had tried to ignore his orders, but ended up being made sure he had still come along anyways. How annoying. He stood to the side of the group, hands casually in his pockets as he made sure to keep his distance from the others, never having been a fan of invaded personal space.

However, as he listened to the man in charge, his carless expression turned more into a frown as he realized what this was about. Pairing up and teamwork. He sighed heavily, disgusted by such a thought Who's smart idea was this? He inquired to himself in his head. It wasn't that he disliked eliminators. If anything, perhaps it was the opposite. He hated infectors, and catalysts. Any of the mutated. Though he and other catalysts didn't take the form of a fully infected, they still had the mutation of special powers, which still meant they were infected. Really, the main reason Akuma was upset by this pairing idea was the sole fact that he hated being paired with people and having to work an communicate with them in general.

He glanced to the talkative male who was asking all the questions and, even with the departure of the one in charge, he continued to talk. He sighed to himself, did he really have to have a partner? He moved to lean against the wall, seeing the group tart talking amongst themselves. Akuma would rather not get involved with anyone. Maybe he'd be able to slip out of here. Though he did keep an eye on the first vocal one, curious to see if and who his partner would be. If Akuma were to choose, he'd probably prefer that man. But he didn't want to vocalize his opinions and choice of a partner and then be stuck in this whole partner formation thing for good. He figured maybe if he didn't say anything, he'd still be able to slip out unnoticed. So he just stuck to the side of the wall, watching the group, though keeping his eye on the white haired eliminator.

Ryo was trainning his kungfu with his new weapon; it was so cool he felt hard to resist, and like dancing he made his way and performed some stance all by himself and the dummies around, just when his blade was an inch from the head of the first dummy; someone came in to inform him that they held a meeting by Commander Hotomi Sakae. Ryo wiped his sweats off from his forehead and some strains of his grey hair, and went straight to the meeting room without hesistation and ended up was the first one to show up, he even forgot to leave his weapon behind.

During the meeting, he intentively listened, put every information to the back of his mind and took everything to consideration. Also, with the pauses was made when the talkative one asked questions and all, he spent to look at everyone else. They looked so cool and mature in his eyes, he was probably the youngest of them all.

When the meeting finished, Ryo has already been eager about just the thought of getting to know everyone else in the room, and even more after he heard there'd be a welcoming party. He got up, put his polearm onto his chair and just ran all over the place, first to the other Eliminators and introduced himself "Good day, I'm Ryo Ransu, I'm 20. It's nice to get to know all of you. Please instruct me" he bowed respectfully to them. Finished with his introduction, he thought about choosing his partner. Once again, everyone looked so cool, he couldn't really choose. Took him a long while. And finally he decided to greet everyone of them, the blonde hair guy, the dark hair guy, and the white hair guy, he said mostly the same thing "Good day to you, I'm an Eliminator, my name is Ryo Ransu... but i don't discriminate, please trust me, i like Catalysts, I think they are just like every body else, so please choose me if you find me good enough, thank you" So he got back to his place, standing, fidgeting a bit from the eager. However, he did make it sound like it was a speed dating get-together, unintentionally of course.

''This is the worst''

Gin has just woke up. He looked at his clock. It was already 14:38pm. He opened his eyes forcefully and shook off the sheet that was covering up his naked body. Along with Gin, Dai, a tiger that had as a pet, woke up with him. Gin slowly got up and went to take a bath. ''Why would the commander call both Catalysts and Eliminators at the same room. Are they planning on making us kill each other or...?'' Gin sighed a bit. He didn't had any idea of what they would say to them. He just knew that they woke him up in his day off. After finishing his bath and finally covering up his body with cloths him and headed to AREA 11 where the meeting was taking hold. He knew that they would get scared if he were to bring Dai so he left him. Not that they wouldn't get scared of his piercings and stripes on his body. While he was walking he would still think why they possibly want them all together. Gin knew that he didn't care if the Eliminators didn't like him but he wasn't planning on getting beaten either.

''Hmmm.....Whatever''

Gin soon reached AREA 11 and headed at Section B-12 where the Meeting Hall B was. Once he gained access to the room saw six men. He could feel that the two of them were Catalysts like him, the others were just humans. He took his place quickly as he knew that he was the only one who wasn't on time...as always. The man wearing the black costume introduce himself to them. He was Hotomi Sakae, Commander of IECSD or else Infector Elimination and Civil Security Division. ''Woooah, what a long boring game they gave to this organization'' Gin thought and kept listening to that man. After the Commander explained the situation and the reason why they were here Gin couldn't take him seriously. ''Do they think that this will work? Are they messing with us or something?'' He kept his thoughts and didn't say o word. He knew that these were orders, he didn't have a saying on this neither he could express his opinion. After all they are just weapons.

As the man said the situation was really bad. Many places have been completely destroyed by the enemies attack. Who would have thought that the infectors were so powerfull at the end. Now he had to pair up with someone. He just didn't want to pair up with someone but he didn't had an other choice. He sat there on his sit and take a good look at everyone in the room. He didn't knew what to do, after all he didn't knew them so he couldn't tell if they were to help him or to slow him down. Gin had already a partner, Dai. He might just be a tiger but he helped him countless times.''As they would ever acceptr that''he thought.

In the room there was a guy who was talking too much, making all the questions and a polite guy that introduce himself kindly. Maybe he could be his partner. On the other hand he saw a quiet guy sitting next to him. Gin had to admit that it caught his eye. So quiet and peacefull.

''Yo! Are you afraid of tigers?'' Gin asked with a monotone voice and gave his hand.

Yūyake wasn't very fond of being interrupted when he was in his studies. The blond noticed that the infectors were getting stronger for some reason, due to him encountering some a while back. Of course he came out with only minor scratches and bruises, but that didn't explain that the generation were getting more intelligent. Never had he fought any of the mutated creatures, that found teamwork as a better method to harm one; albeit the monsters always worked as one, it was never acknowledged by them.

When a man had informed him to meet at 15:00, July 15, 2035 || AREA 11 Headquarters|| Section B-12 Meeting Hall B; it captured the Catalyst's attention. This had to be some sort of secretive meeting, and if he was invited, he would damn well go. Not as if he hadn't been called to said room on countless occasions anyways; but this seemed different.

After days passed, Yūyake was standing before a group of eliminators and Catalyst in which he had never seen. The topic at hand had his attention at most, besides a specific eliminator who seemed to be asking all the questions. That aspect had the blond frowning in a mere second. With the white haired male asking so many questions, he was bound to be the leader of the group, right? Well Shīzune didn't take lightly to taking orders from others; especially that of an eliminator.

After a while, when the Commander of the Infector Elimination and Civil Security Division of Project Noah noted that they would be partnered, the blond catalyst was relived. That way he wouldn't have to go about a plan that wasn't to his liking. He could make the calls and not the talkative male.

The Sargent soon dismissed himself, leaving with the information to attend celebration as his last statement. Crimson eyes scanned the capacity, studying every being in the room. Who would he chose as his partner?

"So, we're told to pair up. And it seems like we have no say in this matter. Who'd like to pair with me? I don't care who it is. As long as you don't hinder me."

Tsch, of course it couldn't be that guy. He seemed to take charge of everything, and Yūyake could tell they would bump heads. What's the use of working with such a man when he, himself wanted to go by his own plan. That would only cause trouble and possibly the death of both of them. So Shīzune would definitely hinder the other.

Within seconds of the white haired eliminator voicing his opinion, a grey haired male, who seemed to be quite young, rushed forward in all eagerness to introduce himself. The anxious twenty year old managed to pull a genuine smile from the blond. This guy seemed to like life, just as Yūyake did. When said male approached him, Shīzune frowned slightly, although in amusement.

"Good day to you, I'm an Eliminator, my name is Ryo Ransu... but i don't discriminate, please trust me, i like Catalysts, I think they are just like every body else, so please choose me if you find me good enough, thank you"

With the other returning to his spot to fidget, the blond stood from his position on the floor and walked to stand beside the grey haired eliminator. "Shīzune, Yūyake is my name. It is nice to meet you." He spoke, although he didn't look at the other. The catalyst was hinting at wanting to be the other's partner. He was the first to peak his interest of liking. Everyone else seemed so dull, especially the guy leaning against the wall as if he was trying to blend in with it. What the hell was wrong with him?

*BANG*

And there went another dummy down, his head having melted due to a special bullet invented to kill infectors. The owner of the gun lowered his hand and sighed deeply. Ieyasu just returned from his last mission. The adrenaline of killing infectors was still in his system and so was his urge to kill. Training always calmed him down and no one could afford a trained Eliminator running around the facilities and shooting just for the fun of it. He knew that it was wrong but it was a part of his personality that can not be easily deleted. Every time when he saw infectors he would lose most of his reasoning and attack with anger. You might call it battle frenzy if you want.

But either way, after shooting all of his ammo on the dummies the whole training room was a mess. Anti-Venorium weapons were really destructive, even to normal humans. Ieyasu eyed both of his guns before style fully sliding them back in their holsters on his hip. "Sergeant Sakae is awaiting your report Mr. Godo." an underling clad in black clothing spoke to him from the door entrance of the training room. "Ahhh. I am on my way." the eliminator only replied and left the room with long strides. After returning from his mission he went straight for the training room so he hadn't reported on his mission.

It didn't take long for him to reach the office of said sergeant. After a little report on his mission as well as the usual 'I killed them, just like always' stare he gave his superior he was informed of the upcoming meeting. But he didn't frown yet; he had to keep his dignity after all. It wasn't unknown to Sgt. Sakae that Godo hated infectors and didn't like catalyst in particular either. Yet he signed him up in this farce. The eliminator wondered why. But it was inevitable, orders where orders even if he didn't want to listen to them. It would be hard on his psyche but hopefully it was worth it. Though most of the facility hated him for his attitude, he was also known to be loyal to humanity. If this plan would success then the infectors would vanish and humanity would be safe. And Godo didn't wish anything else than that.

So he joined the meeting and sat down in one of the couches. He was soon joined by another body. His cold gaze swept over the one sitting next to him before sweeping over everyone else. After their boss left them to their own devices it was just their little group of six in the room. Only from watching them he could already guess who the catalysts of them were. But nothing was proven so he instead listened to the others. Their group was mixed with different individuals aside from their 'race' it seemed. He released a sigh he didn't know he had been holding. Hopefully this will really work. They had to pair of with catalysts and it was already hard enough to keep himself in check with the ones walking around him but to actually pair of with someone? It would be pure hell probably but Godo did promise the commander that he would at least try......

Godo wasn't eager to get a partner so he let the others decide first, it wasn't like he was picking his bride after all. As long as they worked fine and won't kill each other it didn't matter to him who he got. The others seemed to try and be friendly though. So Ieyasu would try and not appear to rough. The first interaction with their 'other half's' soon came however and he was offered a hand to shake in greeting.

''Yo! Are you afraid of tigers?''

What a weird question to ask for their first meeting but whatever. "No. In comparison to infectors their like cats aren't they?" he asked, his voice also monotone. The eliminator didn't want to start a fight but he couldn't hide his own feelings either. In comparison to infectors everything was like cotton and little animals........a weird way to see the world but that's just how Ieyasu 'grew up' with. He was afraid to touch the other though; as much as he didn't want to appear rough he didn't want to trigger his frenzy state. But if they were to work together.........ah well fuck it. He was supposed to be one of the older guys damm it. He can't act like a pussy now so he grabbed the offered hand and shook it, albeit a bit fast and maybe a bit to hard. "Ieyasu Godo, 25."

Well, Kazuya was rather surprised these people actually talk. He's not actually the talkative type, but the guys were not saying a word so he made the decision to do the talking. Well, it was in his nature to lead and take initiative should opportunity comes. He can't help it. Like, who can? If one is born and raised to own an Eliminator School, he'll have to be what he is. Because if not, it won't be fair.

While the rest started talking he sized up everyone. Well, he can't tell if one is strong or not based on physique alone. With this strange powers and weapons, the law of nature is not something to be relied any longer. Well, he had to chose a partner. It seems everyone had started to form partnerships. He had to find one soon. Sadly, no one has picked him up. He just can't understand why. Was it because he always sound rude? Or, maybe because he's not much well know like some of the rest. Well anyway, if he's not in a pair... he'll just have to find one right?

"Well then, since everyone has taken turns to introduce themselves. Maybe I should do it too. I'm Yoshitsunaga, Kazuya. I'm the heir of the Yoshitsunaga Eliminator School. Nice to meet you. I'm an Eliminator. Soo..." well, no one has officially formed a pair yet. He can choose anyone should they agree. But well, He can't just do that.

"I choose you!" He said as he pointed a finger to the red-haired guy. The guy hasn't talked all this while. Was he shy? Or, was he intimidated. Well, it's not like it matters. As they are in a platoon, They'll work together anyway. And he doesn't need someone in his fight.

"You're a catalyst right?" Kazuya asked as he extended his hand before he continued "Would you mind pairing up with me?"

Akuma wasn't thrilled about this whole situation. If he had it his way, he would have been gone long ago. He sighed, closing his eyes for a moment as he heard the people around him talking amongst themselves, mostly introductions, some starting to get to know each other. He knew it meant he'd really have to accept this situation. Although, he did hate having to answer to the government still. Or what was left of it anyways, of this world. He may hate what he was, but he also hated taking orders.

He opened his eyes once more as he glanced around the room, seeing majority of the people already in their own conversations. He glanced back to the talkative one, who was then suddenly pointing a finger at him and choosing him as a partner. He blinked a bit, taken aback by it, though, not bothered really. He glanced around at the others gathered in the hall, seeing they pretty much were paired up already "Sure" he stated with a small shrug "I wouldn't say I mind pairing with you. Though I do mind the whole partner thing in general, but we don't have much choice, I suppose" he said with a shrug of his shoulder.

His eyes fell down to rest on the hand outstretched to him to clearly shake. He hesitated for a moment, but then reached his own hand out to grasp it, giving it a slight shake "Tsunemori, Akuma" he introduced himself with a slight nod as he pulled his hand back. He really didn't mind having this one as a partner. He may seem talkative, maybe a bit in charge, but he also seemed smart, and that he knew what he was doing, which was good enough for Akuma. As long as he was smart and wouldn't get them killed.

Ryo got back to his spot, fidgeting for a while, everyone started to talk and getting to know one another, that made him rather happy, he grinned, this didn't end up as bad as he thought it would be since, according to his experience, most of the time Eliminators and Catalysts wouldn't work with each other.

Then Ryo noticed something. The blond guy he introduced himself to, walked up to him, Ryo looked at him, a bit of questioning expression on his face, until he stood by Ryo and started to introduce himself as well. That meant the guy chose Ryo. Wow. It was so cool. Ryo bounced up from the ground and laughed "Yay. Thank you thank you, Yūyake Shīzune, for choosing me. We'll make a good team... no no no... a great team." This has got him really excited.

Ryo was attempted to give the guy a hug but then maybe not everyone would be like him and enjoyed all the touchy touchy sort of thing so he didn't. He looked around again, everyone has got a partnet, they could head to the welcoming party now. He informed everyone "Everyone got their pair. We should head to the party." He looked back to his new partner and smiled, motioned him to go with Ryo. He took his weapon he left on the chair before heading to the door to open it for everyone and he would follow them lastly.

''Hmmm''

Gin was staring at the male. He could feel that he wasn't a catalyst but a normal human.''Eliminator huh?'' Gin wasnt sure if it was a good idea to pair up with an eliminator. There is no guarantee that he won't attack him or try to kill him. After all he has a very dangerous toy with him, the Ani-Venorium weapon. Yes, this weapon is dangerous for catalysts like him. A wound from this kind of weapon would be fatal. He kept looking at him from head o toe. The man wasn't troubled or bothered. He just kept sitting there withought talking much. He was the type of guy who wouldn't talk much and be quiet. Since Gin didn't had the choice not to pair up he felt like he found the perfect one, just for him!

''Ieyasu Godo, right?I decided. From now on you will be mine and Dai's partner! Dai is my pet tiger, you'll meet him soon.''

Gin seemed like he didn't left much of a chance to the other to speak his mind. He just gave an announcement. He was sure that the others weren't his type to pair up with. The other catalysts and eliminators seemed to have already found their new partners. Now for sure he would be able to go back at his place and take a good nap again. He kept sitting on his chair till the commander call off the meeting. Things though seemed like they wouldn't let him go so quickly.

"Everyone got their pair. We should head to the party."

That's when Gin started sweating and beeing worried.

''Pa-pa-pa-party you said? Wasn't that just an official meeting to get our pairs? When you say party you mean like, music and noise?''

Gin felt so unlucky. What's wrong with these people and what's the meaning of that party? What was needed to be done is done! He really didn't want to take part in such act. He hated noise places and all these kind of parties. He just wanted to go and sleep!''God do I ask too much?'' He thought and sighed.

After Yūyake introduced himself, he flinched at the excited statement the grey haired male exclaimed. The man was much more giddy than he though, not that the blond minded. With a scoff, the catalyst crossed his arms over his chest, shaking his head at his newly found partner. Seems that Ryo was the most welcoming amongst all, even the other as like himself.

With a brief scan around the room, a smirk formed on Shīzune's lips. For some reason he felt superior to the rest, but not in the sense of power. It was because of formation, or partnership. The eliminators besides the grey haired male, seemed to have a disliking for Catalyst, and vise versa. Well looks as though his partner and him would be the ones to win an award for such a great bond, if there was any.

With a cackle the crimson eyes darted up into another pair of similar colored orbs when the overly exited male pranced to the door.

"Everyone got their pair. We should head to the party."

Now that was what Yūyake was interested in. A celebration party held just for them; how much sweeter could that get? With a step forward, the blond found his way outside the door, in which his partner was holding, and down the hall from which he entered the meeting hall. The celebration party was being held in C1. That was a section he had passed on the way here. The blond just hoped it was worth his time. If the group he was with would be the only ones attending, then it wouldn't be too exciting. Instead he'd just go learn more about the infectors. There was nothing more exciting than that.

Upon arriving at said sector, Shīzune sighed, opening the door to glance inside. Not half bad.

Godo let the other examine him; he did the same earlier on after all. But it was a bit weird, the other was a catalyst but strangely enough he didn't feel the urge yet. Normally when he saw a catalyst or an infector for that matter he wouldn't able to control his other side that easily. But right now he wasn't feeling threatened or anything. By none of them. Though he hated the infectors from the bottom of his heart he also feared them. Godo wasn't a person with many fears instead he had nearly none but the one that he did fear were the infectors. The same beings that he hates so much that he wants to kill them. It was a weird feeling hating but also fearing something the same amount, it made you guess. If a dire situation would arise would he fear them or would he hate them and continue fighting? He often asked himself this but hasn't found an answer yet. So basically it was a test for Godo to join this meeting, to see if he would enter his frenzy but nothing happened. Maybe the plan wasn't as bad as he first thought. While interacting with these catalysts, he may be able to stop fearing infectors. A nice idea actually but time would only tell.

''Ieyasu Godo, right? I decided. From now on you will be mine and Dai's partner! Dai is my pet tiger, you'll meet him soon.''

So that's what the weird question was about. The other had a pet tiger.....wait pet? //Hmm, as long as he doesn't bite me.// Godo thought but his expression didn't change much. It has been like this since his birth. Some way or another he didn't have much of a facial expression. It was usually just blank. That doesn't mean he wasn't able to smile however it was just a bit rarer. It wasn't long before his new partner's own face changed; it had something to do with the party apparently. Godo knew of the event but didn't dwell on it much. It wasn't like he hated parties but they weren't usually fun either.

After the first two left the meeting hall he too stood up from the couch and headed towards the door. His guns clanged when he stood up but he didn't bother. After he returned from the mission he wasn't able to rest and wouldn't probably be able to for the rest of this day. But he still wanted to take a bath. He wasn't sure who would attend the party, government and all, so he wanted to at least take a bath and change in a tux or something. "I go take a shower and redress, I come later on." he shortly said to the others but mostly speaking to his new partner. It was probably expected for them to stay together during the party. Urgh, they probably had to talk about this new plan or something and Sergeant Sakae probably wanted to show of the new teams that would 'protect humanity'. Godo did wonder though how much of a hassle this would become.

Without waiting for any replies he walked down the corridor towards his room. After arriving he dropped his precious guns onto the table and undressed himself to step into the shower. It didn't take long for him to finish up; he only had to get himself ready. Brushing teeth, drying hair and styling it as well as applying perfume and he was nearly done. He went with a simple tux and a matching dark purple tie. Stylish but not over the top. While changing; his view drifted towards the guns on his table again. "...." he didn't say anything but he did grab the guns and fastened their holster around his hip again. Godo rather stayed safe and he just wasn't comfortable being around catalysts without his guns. Call him stupid but in a sense he was feeling defenceless otherwise. After making sure that everything was done he made his way back to the place where the party will be held.

"I wouldn't say I mind pairing with you. Though I do mind the whole partner thing in general, but we don't have much choice, I suppose" ... "Tsunemori, Akuma"

Now that he had a pair, Kazuya has one more thing to deal with. As much as possible, he wanted to operate alone. But with another person to work with, he won't be able to do like what he used to. He has to think of his partners whereabouts and safety and so on. Well, he doesn't know what his partner's skills, but he so wished it was not something melee. It would be great if it's the intellectual type or someone who works in the back.

"I'm in your care..." he said as a courtesy but his face didn't show it. Well, his face shows nothing but a pokerface even though he talks a bit too much.

"I'm heading to the party too. Well, I think they consider this as something like a 'last supper' for us. They'll probably feed us to our hearts content before we're sent to a suicide mission." He said as he walked to the hallways, following the first guy to do so.

Akuma just looked to his new partner with an indifferent look. He wondered what he would be like, working with a partner now. It wasn't that he hated eliminators, he wasn't particularly fond of people in general. He was sure everyone in this room was apprehensive about this pairing up thing. With people that were natural born enemies too, at that. Most in this room surely were worried about being killed by their partner. But Akuma in particular was different. He was hoping, maybe if he was lucky, there would be an incident between his partner and himself, and the male would fatal wound him, so he died. Akuma could only hope, he would be fine dying at the hands of an eliminator. It was infectors he fought and wouldn't be killed by, as he viewed them disgusting, vile and worthless - just as he viewed himself, as he was biologically connected to them.

Snapping out of his thoughts, the self-loathing catalyst heard the others mentioning the party they were supposed to be heading to. He contemplated going or not, however, figured it would be best. His partner was going, and it would probably be a better opportune moment to get to know the male more. And since they were all working as a larger group as well, he might as well start to learn more about the others too. So with that thought in mind, Akuma silently followed the group through the doors to C1, where their party would be held.

Yūyake glanced around the room from outside the door, soon stepping into the capacity with a smile. Well, at least it wouldn't only be the other catalyst and infectors. They seemed quite dull and who the fuck wouldn't want to have fun on possible their last day on earth. If it wasn't the last day, it was definitely the last time they'd enjoy themselves. Hiding out in building just to get rest wasn't his ideal life, but it had to be done; or at least that was what his imagination kicked up.

Waltzing across the floor to get to a table littered with alcohol, Shīzune smirked before taking himself a cup and filling it to the brim. Good thing the brunette had a high tolerance of alcohol, or else he'd be pretty useless on the first day during a mission. Raising the container to his lips, the crimson eyes closing as the content burned his throat going down. Taking straight liquor wasn't the best way to go about the situation, but he suggested getting tipsy would make the party even more fun; especially if his group was stuck up and no fun. Maybe he could offer them all a drink. That'll loosen them up, right?

Yūyake raided his hand, beckoning for the group to come his way. "Aye, you guys come over here! How about we play a little game of 'I've Never'."' Hoping that the others would listen to him.

Ryo followed Yuyake like a pup from behind. He stayed silent though his face showed excitement. They reached the party room in section C-1 that was intended by the Commander Hotomi Sakae. Ryo looked around in curiousity, everything was shinny and sparkly, that was what he always imagine a party would be. And to be serious, he has never attended one party in his life, so he wanted to enjoyed this. He was like a kid, he looked carefully what his partner was doing. He tilted his head when the other grabbed a drink. He observed before he picked up the same drink and poured it into his mouth. The liquid was harsh, spicy and strong. Ryo had to spit it out the second he put it in. He coughed a little bit before he wiped his mouth, frowning. He decided to went somewhere else to find juice or something non-alcoholic. Games. He heard games. Turned out it was from his very own partner. He ran quickly over and stood next to him, raising his hand up "me me me me me. I want to play" as usual, he was a bit excited... or even over excited.

Gin didn't had a choice but to join everyone and go to that party. He really didn't like the idea of going. Many people, noize places! Not the type of things that he would love to do. Again he had to do so. For a while he kept staring at the ceiling. He looked like he was waiting a miracle or a God to save him. He gave a smirk. If there was a God there wouldn't be such a mess in this world. There wouldn't be infectors, catalysts or eliminators. There would just be a peacefull and ordinary life for everyone.

After standing still for a while he heard his partner's voice. He was going to leave and then come to that party. Well maybe he wanted to take a rest! Like everyone in this room since it was their day off of all the fighting. Gin's eyes were tottaly fixed on Ieyasu. So intense was his gaze that he thought that he might open a hole and see through him. For some reason Gin felt like he was already attached with him. Such a strange guy he is!

''Well I guess I'll join that party''

Gin sighed a bit and he followed the others. He was walking slowly as he was so bored to go there. For one last time he turned his neck and watched Ieyasu leaving the room from a different door leading to their dorms. 'I guess he will come back soon, no?' Gin thought and turn his back.

''Let's have some fun~''

Gin said, trying to make him look excited but then he was sulking.

Now neatly dressed Ieyasu made his way towards the party hall. But already with his first step inside the he regretted ever returning from the mission. It was packed with people. Reporters, government people and now and then a model or other star in this destroyed world. It was funny how humanity was still able to live like before the catastrophe. That some of their kin turned into monster apparently didn't bother most of the crowd. Only if the infectors were to attack the crowd would go wild and call for their 'hero'. But at the moment their little group of six was merely seen as someone disposable, fighters that didn't have much of value to them. Godo still remembered the time before all of this and he had to say that not much changed in the ways of a human mind. At least not for those that weren't directly involved. People like Godo or the catalysts. That's why the gunslinger hated these kinds of parties. Pleasantries and false words. The usual in a party with lots of 'important' people and you didn't fit in.

His inner thoughts didn't show though and he advanced into the fray of talking people. Some of the guards nodded to him, already knowing him and some woman’s even tried to talk to him. Godo didn't care though, just because he looked a bit nice and they were all over him. Along the way he also saw Sergeant Sakae and nodded in greeting. His higher up only raised his wine glass and pointed to his 'group'. All of them were standing near the buffet and began talking. The eliminator was still a bit away so he didn't get any of the conversation but he started to make his way towards them. Since they all had to suffer in this party they should probably stick together. Later on they will be properly introduced to the crowd as the new 'experiment' or something. Such a hassle. None the less he made a grab for a wine glass and filled it. If he had to suffer then he would at least try to have a bit of fun until it lasts. When he heard the other propose a game he raised his eyebrow. “Is it a drinking game?” he asked Yuyake and took a sip of his own liquor. Godo wasn’t a party type, even in his adolescent years, so he didn’t know much of the games you play on parties. He heard of the ‘King’s Game’ and so on but just from the TV or the Internet.

As the rest partied out, Kazuya was standing on one side, leaning on wall with one hand holding a glass of light liquor while the other was attached to his katana. It's not like him to party. He doesn't do well with social gatherings even before he earned a name for himself as an eliminator. While he was a heir to an Eliminator school, he was always asked to tag along social gatherings and to meet the kids from other rich families.

Also, he had no time to be drunk. The world is not so safe anymore to be able to get drunk as much as you want. Any moment, Infectors can invade the area. Thought information says they won't be doing so for months, it's not impossible to get their predictions wrong. After all, who knows what those infectors are thinking now that they're becoming more and more organized.

"I'll keep watch" he murmured as he walked to a veranda, savoring the cold breeze of air alone.

Akuma followed the entire group into the large celebration hall, know and called as C1. He looked around, seeing a bunch of people, and he rolled his eyes slightly, it made him sick, seeing all these officials and government politicians. How annoying, he huffed. They were on completely different levels. He, a catalyst, and the eliminators were just pigs to be slaughtered by their whim and use, being told what to do, ordered around by them, to protect them.

Sighing to himself, he closed his eyes as he walked through the crowd after opening them again. He glanced around, looking for possible members of the recently formed group. He glanced to the table, noticing a few of them gathering there, and would rather be there then surrounded by politicians who would talk to him only about fighting and death, and risk, and all that annoying bullshit.

Having reached the table, he heard one speaking up about a sort of game. Curious that something entertaining might actually happen at this boring party, he spoke up "Sure, I'll join" he said, seeing a few others had as well. But one he noticed hadn't, was his new partner. He glanced around, eventually seeing him out on the balcony.

While the others worked out what the game was, he took a few steps away to catch up with his partner "Hey, Kazuya, was it?" he spoke up as he approached the male. He followed his gaze out to the horizon, staring at it a few moments before glancing back to the male beside him "I doubt they're going to come within the next few hours. We already have terrible luck, living the lives we have as it is, it'd just be rotten if they ironically did decided to come just now. Though I'm sure the officials would love to put their collection of us to work" he spoke.

Yūyake smirked and turned to grab a cup for all those who said they was joining and waltzed over to a table to plop into a chair. "This can be fairly good for some of us, and fairly bad for the rest. I chose to do something simple since we all may not be good with a deck of cards; plus....this could be a icebreaker for us all. Well start off with me, then go around for however you all sit. There is a seat available for only us six. Now," Flipping the cups and placing the stack into the center of the table, a teasing smile adoring his face, as he licked his lips.

"I can see that we are missing two people so...I suppose only four will be playing, in case that....er...red head guy returns; if not we'll have only...three. That wouldn't be very effective; never the less...it'll help us three. Um...that is if you find out what it is and decide not to play." Rolling his eyes before setting the liquor onto the tabletop. "It's Drink or Dare. So....." Crimson eyes darting between the three before him. "who's in?"

Ryo listened carefully and looked into his partner's crimson eyes as he spoke. He positioned himself into a seat as the rest did. As the other mention, he looked around and indeed they were missing some people. He looked to check their whereabout. He spotted them seperated from everyone. He was going to invite them back to the game but seemingly they were having a conversation and Ryo wouldn't want to interrupt them, he liked it when everyone make friends, especially in occassion like this. So he got back to pay attention to his partner.

Yūyake suggested that they should play a Drink Or Dare game. According to his little knowledge, 'drinking' was mostly referring to 'drink' wine or alcohol stuff, and Ryo didn't know how to 'drink', or really low tolerance of alcohol. It was kind hard to believe for someone didn't know how to drink alcohol nowadays but it was true. He raised his hand up to say something "Mhmm... I'll... join but I don't know how to drink alcohol... Can i drink soda instead?" He knew his question was kinda silly, cuz if he drank soda, it wouldn't be the same Drink Or Dare game, but he just had to do it to save himself.

  • 1 month later...

Socializing was not Kazuya's forte. As a fighter, he learnt it the hard way not to get too much attached to anyone. That way, he won't be worried... he won't have people to protect and he won't have to get hurt with the people around him dying. Socializing makes people weak. It makes people develop useless feelings that will do nothing but hinder them in fighting.

By being detached to everyone, Kazuya can focus on his battles alone. He lives to kill infectors and that's what he is going to do. Socializing gives him no benifit. And it never gave him one. Never.

"Hey, Kazuya, was it?"

Kazuya turned his head back , glaring at the source of the familiar voice. It was Akuma Tsunemori... a catalyst. He'd rather not deal with him as but knowing they'd be together for quite sometime from now on, he probably can't avoid talk with him and the rest on certain occasions.

"I doubt they're going to come within the next few hours. We already have terrible luck, living the lives we have as it is, it'd just be rotten if they ironically did decided to come just now. Though I'm sure the officials would love to put their collection of us to work"

The other spoke logically. Indeed. If something were to happen, they'd be the first to be dispatched. The reserved military forces of the headquarters and the advanced weapons would be sure to be showed off... If anything, the headquarters would be the safest place right now.

"Yeah. you're right. What did you want?"

He asked as he moved his head up front and stairs at the bright stars twinkling over the horizons.

Akuma sighed a bit at the others expected cold and uncaring glance. After all, he was a catalyst. He was used to the usual outcasting looks though, he was sure every catalyst was used to it. And he really didn't expect any less from Kazuya, an eliminator. Eliminators and catalysts were like fire and water, east and west - they were complete opposites. Honestly, Akuma didn't know what the officials were thinking, matching them up like this.

If their theory worked, then yes, they would be incredibly strong together, he was sure. But that was if they didn't kill each other first. Did the officials really want to risk losing any more firepower they had? They would risk it in chance of creating something bigger, as this? He sighed at the thought, shaking his head. He figured they really hadn't any choice though. More and more countries were being completely infected and obliterated. Any hope left for humanity dwindled with each passing day and infection.

Akuma looked to Kazuya when the male spoke back to him, ignoring his glare "I don't want anything" he said with a shrug of his shoulders "Just curious why your out here? I understand if your not a fan of this whole thing....I certainly am not. And i'd rather not be socially involved in groups like this. But considering we're going to have to be working together, it would only help you more to know your going to be around, no?" he suggested, watching him curiously.
