Using the lately recent breakthrough in technology

in virtual reality system, the most popular virtual

reality game among them is "Royal Road". It is

also the first game of its kind (virtual reality game)

before others came. Because of its popularity

through out the world, one server alone is not

enough. Thus, a new server named Troy is made.

The new server is not a copy of the previous one.

It has its own story, quests and even unique classes.

The new server is made for beginners of the game

who does not wish to join the old server.

Four strangers are looking for people to go hunting

with as they found themselves partying each other.

While they continue their hunts they discovered a

weird chain quest that may alter the fate of all Troy.

This will be the start of the of journey of the party

which will be later known throughout the continent

of Troy

NATIONALITY:

British

ORIENTATION:

Pansexual-Asexual

AGE:

23

PERSONALITY:

Always keeps his calm, usually gentle and nice as well. He hates getting into big fights, well, unless it's in a game. Though even there he prefers to stay a bit away as a backup, so he could heal everyone up. He often cares more for others than for himself and almost never gets mad or insulted.

LIKES:

Cats, warmth, video games, chocolate, books, playing music.

DISLIKES:

Dogs, coldness, rain, thunderstorms (he's scared of them).

BIO:

Jim was born in a family that wasn't either rich or very poor - right in the middle. He had a happy childhood, tried out a few relationships, but nothing worked out simply because he was a bit too shy. This is a problem he's had since he was a little child. He could never really make a lot of new friends because he was far too shy to walk up and talk to somebody. On the internet or simply video games, it's far easier...

. If you violate a rule,

you will be warned. Continually violating the role play rules will

get roleplayers banned from this RP and probably from my

future RP as well.

aJuUNnh.png

The role play is going to use an Arc system. That is to say,

every major events in the RP will be divided into arcs. The

first arc will be the "The Party of Four Arc". Every end of an

arc we will be posting our character sheets with an upgraded

skills. I will be posting the new character sheets in the new arc

before we formally start.

N9FT3gT.png

The posting sequence will be determined from the sequence of

the first cycle. That is to say, in the first cycle of the roleplay, which

I will be starting, anyone who has NOT yet posted in the cycle

are welcomed to post. In the succeeding cycles, we will be

determining the posting sequence based on the sequence

in the first cycle.

The Roleplay will use a color system. The verbal responses

or the sentences/words enclosed with "" must be shaded

with a color of your choice, preferably coming from

the theme color of your character. However, if the lines

are not said by your character, but by other character, or

by an NPC you created, do not coat it with a color. My

first post should serve as an example. Also, no two role

players are allowed to have the same color.

eeEv0IT.png

By no means one is someone allowed to time skip under these conditions:

a.)There are existing role players who still need to post in the same time

frame the event is made.

b.) There is an existing event that needs to be role played for some more

cycles.

However, we may time skip when:

a.) The role play is stuck, thus, we need to move the time frame to free our

OC's from the event we stuck/time frame into.

b.) When the current time frame/event/arc is not into everyone's liking.

"But doctor, do you really think that playing a virtual reality game will help me fix my narcissism?" Itsuki Nonomiya was doubtful to the suggestion of his psychiatrist, Mr. Sheng. The Psychiatrist had told him that he was almost cured of his narcissism counseling-wise. The only thing he needs now was to be exposed into the world. However, straightly doing that in the real world might back fire to Itsuki, so Dr. Sheng suggested to Itsuki to do it in a virtual reality game.

"Don't worry Itsuki. Virtual reality games is just like the real world. I have an acquaintance in Korea who has a patient she's trying to cure through playing the game. Don't worry, just play the game and enjoy it. However, you must let me see your game recordings so I can monitor what you've been doing so far." Dr. Sheng said as he made a concerned face. The guy was like a big brother to Itsuki. He had been coming for counseling for almost two years now and they had grown attached to each other. Itsuki decided to trust him anyway. It's not like he'd lose something by playing.

"Okay. I'm going to the rent shop to register then. Game capsules are expensive, so I'll just go to the rent shop when I play" Itsuki said. Virtual Reality games are played by entering a game capsule. There, your consciousness is transferred to the game world. Itsuki doesn't know how it happens. He hadn't experienced it first hand either.

"I have one. I wanted to play the game but my schedules been to busy to play. You can play here... or if you want you can bring that home. But you need internet connection for that, I hope you have one at home"

"Most household have internet Dr. Our's is not an exception. I'll take that offer and bring the capsule home. Would you mind helping me bring it?" Itsuki grinned to the doctor. It's probably because they had been an acquaintance for a long time that he was able to say it. And doctor Sheng is really nice, its hard not to get friendly with him.

"How cruel. You're bringing how my hard earned money. And not even a thanks" Dr. Sheng pouted.

"It's not like you're giving it. And it was you who wants to make me play the game in the first place" Itsuki said as they left. The game capsule was placed on his room. Dr. Sheng helped him adjusting it and connecting it to the internet. Once done, Itsuki laid on the bed-like capsule as it closed. And as he blinked, his surroundings changed.

Itsuki was surprised to hear an unfamiliar feminine voice. The voice was very realistic that it sounded like it's from someone nearby. Anyway, Itsuki looked around to see the origin of the voice, but only the space-like surrounding was there. Well, the girl said someone about creating a new account, so he probably had to.

"Yes.”

Select the name of your avatar.

Itsuki had not been playing online games for a long while. But back then, he was pretty active and was good at it too. His name was...

"Havoc"

There's not much relevance to the name. It just sounded cool and he stick with it.

Select your gender from male, female or neutral

“Male”

Royal Road has forty-nine races. You may select your race from the primary twenty-nine* races, twenty unique races, and ten ancient races...Human, Elf, Orc, ....

“Human!”

You may alter your appearance as you wish. Please say "Done" when you're finished

Itsuki had wanted to remain the same. He loved his face and body.. so why should he change it. However, he played the game because he wanted to change.. he wanted to get cured. That's why he altered some stuff in his body in a window that appeared next to him. He lengthened his hair, made his body buffer and he changed his face to look more mature. When he's done, he responded to the voice by telling..

"Done"

Your account has been activated. Your stats and class shall be determined while you are playing Royal Road*. You will start at level one with no class. By playing the game and doing several quests, you can change your job at level 15...Select a city and kingdom you want to start

“The City of the Quests - Alabaster, Yokon Kingdom.”

Itsuki said as he looked at the different names of places in a window before him. One name stood out immediately. The City of Quests, he'd be able to level up much faster if he goes to that place.

Welcome to Royal Road...

A white flash almost blinded Itsuki. When he opened his eyes yet again. The surroundings have changed. People wearing weird clothing was walking around the streets. It looks like people inside a fantasy game came out to the real world, but he knew it was the opposite. He came into the world of games.

"I guess I'll take a good look around the city and see what I can do" Itsuki said as he walked away, looking around as if he was sight seeing in a far-away place.

Jim smiled excitedly to himself as he held the game he'd been hearing for months from various people. Royal Road... The young teen felt like he was going to melt - video games were one of his passions, but realistic as this one, they were just amazing! He'd just recently gotten all of the equipment needed to play this game, and boy was he excited to try it out! His gaze slowly drifted towards the capsule as he gulped down and licked his dry lips. The green eyes behind his glasses shone with happiness and slight amazement - he was both scared and stunned by how the mechanics were...

Finally, Jim gathered up the courage and slowly layed down into the capsule before closing his eyes. He could feel how he slipped away, and then suddenly he awoke again! His surroundings were completely different now... The green-haired male looked around with his jaw dropping slightly before he suddenly heard a feminine, robotic-sounding voice.

《The scan on your iris and vein has determined that you are an unregistered user. Do you want to create a new account?》

Jim stayed silent for a moment before a grin lit up on his face. The answer was obvious... "Yes."

《Select the name of your avatar.》

Jim barely held in a chuckle at the question. He'd been using this username ever since he started playing video games... It was kind of like his name, but a bit more fantasy-sounding.

"Jimahe."

《Select your gender from male, female or neutral》

Jim hesitated for a moment, lightly nibbling on his lower lip. He usually played as male, since there really wasn't another option other than girl, but... Maybe he'd pick another this time.

"Neutral."

《Royal Road has forty-nine races. You may select your race from the primary twenty-nine* races, twenty unique races, and ten ancient races...Human, Elf, Orc, ....》

"Elf."

Jim answered rather quickly - maybe it was because of all the Lord of the Rings movies he'd watched, but he absolutely loved elves... Besides, they were supposed to be good at healing, too.

《You may alter your appearance as you wish. Please say "Done" when you're finished》

Jim slowly exhaled after hearing this. He spent so much time creating his characters each time... With a soft huff, he began altering the 'clone' in front of him. He made the hair a bit darker and some parts longer to hide his now pointy ears, his eyes blue and removed the glasses. After that, he made the character a bit less thin. He hated this about himself... He couldn't even get enough muscles! Finally, when he was satisfied with his work, Jim smiled to himself and nodded.

"Done."

《Your account has been activated. Your stats and class shall be determined while you are playing Royal Road*. You will start at level one with no class. By playing the game and doing several quests, you can change your job at level 15...Select a city and kingdom you want to start》

“The City of the Quests - Alabaster, Yokon Kingdom.”

Jim said with a small smile as he tilted his head. Quests always were the best way to start off in a new game, and it also meant he could reach the 15th level sooner! He was already curious about what jobs were there...

《Welcome to Royal Road...》

After these words, a white flash followed while Jim groaned out lightly - and then, when he could open his eyes again, a majestic city opened up in front of his eyes! The green-haired male's jaw dropped in awe as he slowly began walking without even looking where he was going... Which caused him to bump into a... Scary looking male... Long white hair, he was... So... So muscular...

With a small yelp, Jim dropped down to the ground on his ass and winced softly before slowly raising a somewhat timid, almost scared gaze to the male to which he bumped into.

"S-Sorry, I didn't mean to!"

Nothing ever changed. Not the persons that surrounded him. Not his memories. But he had to change. And he had changed. To everyone's dismay though. But for his own best. Because in this corrupted world, only the strongest survived. It was the same wherever he went. Not let anyone in. Don't let anyone out. Stand or fall. Hit or get hit. Kill or be killed. Hurt or be hurt. Lie or cry. That was his life. Every hour and every day. He didn't dislike the order of nature though. It was the only right system that worked after all.

The blue haired boy eyes narrowed, slightly as the sunshine threw itself over him. It felt like it burned against his pale skin. But it wasn't strange though. Because he hadn't been out for over a month. He hadn't been in school. And he hadn't talked to anyone. This happened rather often though and it wasn't that unusual that you didn't see him outside the door for a couple of weeks.

His 'parents' were of course worried. But they never tried to take contact with him. Not ever since that day. Well, they didn't deserve his attention anymore. They hadn't anything valuable left to give him. He only was there. Lived there. A irritated grunt left him as he raised his arm to block the sunlight from his blue eyes as he then, glanced down at the game in his hand. This, would be his new project. Royal Road. A rather promising game with a bright future. And as far as he had heard, were all the reviews positive. A small smirk played on his lips as he began to walk home with the game in his hand. Since he was a so called 'gamer' he already had all the necessarry stuff to play. Which of course was relieving since it would get really expensive if he were to buy a brand new Game Capsule.

When finally reaching his house he was careful with taking notice of any kind of sign of anyone being inside his house. And when he was sure, he just stomoed right in. Threw off his shoes in the hall and his jacket on the floor before running up the stairs and locking himself into his room. Like always. Thereafter he proceeded with laying down in his game capsule and closing his eyes.

《 The scan on your iris and vein has determined that you are an unregistered user. Do you want to create a new account? 》

A female voice called out to him and he opened his eyes to find himself see, nothing. He was just staring into a black mass of darkness. "Yes" he boringly answered and rolled his eyes to wait for next question.

《 Select the name of your Avatar 》

Lee Hyun Ki as the boy's name was, answered quickly with the regular one that he always used "Hyuki". He always used that name, because firstly it was easier for other players to recognise him if he used one name. Secondly, he just felt pretty much attached to the name itself. A mixture between Hyun and Ki.

《 Select your Gender 》

"Male" He said without discussing it any further.

《 Royal Road has forty-nine races. You may select your race from the primary twenty-nine* races, twenty unique races, and ten ancient races...Human, Elf, Orc, ....》

Normally he would just choose human, but this time though he took his time to listen through them all since they were so many. And after a while of thinking he answered with one of the more unique ones. "Human Lynx".

《 You may alter your appearance as you wish. Please say "Done" when you're finished 》

After having adjusted his character to his liking he smiled, vaguely and quickly said done only to get next question by the supposedly not existing female.

《 Your account has been activated. Your stats and class shall be determined while you are playing Royal Road*. You will start at level one with no class. By playing the game and doing several quests, you can change your job at level 15...Select a city and kingdom you want to start 》

Since he wanted to level up fast, unlock new areas and be able to take on tougher dungeons to get stronger gear he choosed the city who's name appealed most. "The City of Quests - Alabaster, Yukon Kingdom".

《 Welcome to Royal Road... 》

And without further ado the eighteen year old teleported to the city that he had choosed. A ocean of buildings, the sound of voices and a warm breeze that put his white hair in movement was the first thing that met him as he smiled and drew a deep breath. Technology, truly a remarkable thing.

Thinking that it was best to better get started he headed from the little hill he had started on into the city to look after the first quest giver.

((OoC: I hope it's okay I made her a living being.^^ I know that someone would constantly have to sit on the computed to welcome new members but I kinda like that idea. :D ))

These old farts had been going at it for two straight hours now. Cue a sigh from the only young male in the conference room. Being an heir to something wasn't all sunshine and roses, Ciro had to work like an adult and attend these utterly pointless meetings that are purely taking place to fill the gap between eating lunch and eating dinner. Nothing useful would come out of it. Only bickering that bordered to plain fighting. Someone wanted to expand their borders or someone wanted to pick up a new job like drug selling. And in the end everyone would argue about it without coming to a result. It was understandable that Ciro hated these meetings. "Enough! Sir Gonzales, we will not allow you to do slave trading since the police would definitely find out about it and we don't want that right? Further more Sir Agrusa we will not allow you to expand further then Florence, your area of power is already big enough and it would lead to arguments with other families. Now then, I think we can close this conference now. We shall meet in three weeks sharp to the next meeting of heads. Good bye, gentleman." Ciro spoke with authority in his voice. His father only nodded next to him, having expected this response from the next leader. After his little speech, the meeting spread apart, the family heads returning to their humble abode.

After that exhausting meeting, the young male was dragged into his father’s office to discuss the previous meeting. So a meeting after a meeting......genius. "Yes father. I understand." Ciro only replied after having been praised but also scolded for his behaviour. "A leader should always appear confident but not head strong like you. When you take over, I expect a fine mafia leader of one of Italy’s strongest families. Do I make myself clear?" his father said, well rather threatened. "Of course." Ciro replied, not even bothering to talk back. Years, years of education only to become a stingy mafia boss. He grew up in this environment so he got used to it but really, it was a really bad place to live in. Even as an heir. Ciro couldn't even walk peaceful in a town without having to fear for his life. It was really complicated....and stupid. If he could Ciro would just die and be reborn and live a normal life. But alas, he had a mafia family to inherit and lead in the future. Oh joy, he just couldn't wait.

That is why he instantly bought 'Royal Road' the most promising game around. It got updated recently and it seemed that people instantly ran into the stores to buy it. Personally, Ciro wasn't really a gamer since he had more 'important' stuff to do, though he doesn't see it as that, but he didn't have a choice but to follow. But the boss of the Drago Family allowed him a bit of free time for the years to come since Ciro had graduated last spring. Not from a normal school mind you. Anyway, he still had lots of stuff to do but he could at least shove some time away for his own wants and needs. For example a game like 'Royal Road'. It was praised to be beginner friendly and had the slogan (in official of course) 'be yourself but only different'. It meant the many possibilities to create or change your avatar and life a new life. So something Ciro was totally going for at the moment. These old farts were not really the best companions and entertainment. A game would totally fit his cause.

Naturally, Ciro had lots of money to buy everything needed. Not always clean money but money nonetheless. So after putting everything up with the help of one of his bodyguards, Ciro made quick haste to step into the capsule and lay down. "Make sure nobody disturbs me if it isn't absolutely important understood?" his voice laced with authority travelled through the room. "Of course sir." his bodyguards replied and excused themselves from his sleeping quarters. It was a little apartment though, just the best for a mafia heir. Either way, now was the time to flee from his real life and enter a new one. Hopefully a better one if the game reviews promised anything.

The system replied, the voice not seeming robotic but still in a monotone way. "Yes, please." Ciro replied, looking around the large vacant space. It was to be expected since he was laying inside a dark capsule but they could have really installed a few lights here.

And as if on cue the space was showered with soft light. And the girl's voice soon followed.

《 Select the name of your Avatar 》

Here, Ciro Drago wasn't really sure what to pick. Obviously he didn't want to pick his real name. But he hadn't played many games either to get a unique gaming name. So he settled with some Italian words that would suit his cause. "Vita for life and Morte for death. Vita Morte." he replied after a few minutes of thinking about it. Ciro could have called himself anything but he thought it was a good name. Life and Death explained the mafia pretty well.

《 Royal Road has forty-nine races. You may select your race from the primary twenty-nine* races, twenty unique races, and ten ancient races...Human, Elf, Orc, ....》

"So many, can't you help me?" he asked the voice. He knew that the voice wasn't generated, it sounded far too real.

《 Considering your avatar name, I would advise you to get something resembling it. Like an orc or any other dark creature. But with your looks I would say dark elf would fit. 》

The voice replied, proving to be a real human speaking to him. And she was right, to life and death would fit a darker being but not brutal or animalistic like an orc or werewolf. It had to be something dark but something that could also be good willed or rather neutral. A dark elf fitted those criteria pretty good. "I will take the dark elf."

《 Good choice, you may alter your appearance as you wish. Please say "Done" when you're finished. 》

Ciro decided to go with lighter coloured hair and middle lengthened with a large fringe. His avatars statue was above average and he added some horns to it. The heir wanted to keep his unusually ocean blue coloured eyes but he didn't want it to show. So he added a blindfold to his character. The sage was known to use spells with his hands or mouth but apparently their eyes would glow when using a spell. That was a bit freaky especially with his eye colour so he decided to hide them. In his training as an heir he also learned to live without seeing anything, aka being blind. So he could easily walk around with his character. After a bit more adjusting, he said loudly "Done." to inform the girl.

《 Your account has been activated. Your stats and class shall be determined while you are playing Royal Road*. You will start at level one with no class. By playing the game and doing several quests, you can change your job at level 15...Select a city and kingdom you want to start 》

There was a city sticking out of all of them. The 'Quest' City. "What would you suggest? I am total noob in gaming." he confessed.

《 Since you are new, I would advise the starter towns. But the best one would be Alabaster in the Yukon Kingdom. It's were most of the players start and it should give you a little more insight on the beginning of the game. 》

The voice replied and Ciro only nodded. She knew what she was doing after all.

《 Well then, welcome to Royal Road! 》

She said lastly, sending Vita into the game. The dark elf arrived in an abandoned alley inside the city. Before exploring though, Vita browsed a bit through his inventory, stats and other stuff he will need in the future. It was really realistic. He even felt a little chill from the wind blowing through the alley. Truly remarkable. "I think I will enjoy it here. Well then, I better start searching for these quests now." the dark elf talked to himself and left his starting point.

He stood out a bit, with his blindfold, the beginner cloak and being a dark elf in general. Nobody talked to him though, everyone was just staring. And Morte wouldn't start a conversation right now that was for sure. Being a bit reserved in his new life will probably be a good way to survive.

Havoc was still strolling around getting used to the strange sensation of being in a game. It was a bit creepy how realistic this game was. He had originally thought this game would be a little bit pixelized since that's the case for most games. Popular games then always had fantastic graphics for promotion materials. However, when you play the actual game, it's far away off. That's why he didn't expect much in this game.

"Okay... so where should I begin. I'll probably ask around NPCs. Who knows, they might give me rare quests if I'm lucky" Havoc said. He spotted a nearby tavern with a big [bEGINNER'S GUILD] written. If Havoc is not wrong, this place serves as a helping place for newbies to the game. This is also where he accept some easy quests and form party with low level players. Havoc entered the tavern with no people but a fat man with a very curved mustache snoring on the other side of the counter.

"Oi, what's with this place? Isn't this supposed to be a place where I can gather information and tips?" Havoc told himself as he walked closer to the snoring man. Annoyed, he kicked the table from underneath, causing the fat man to awaken. The man looked shocked to see a scary looking guy with long hair before him but he was not intimidated at all. Instead, he monotonously spoke the words he may have practiced for years.

"Greetings, traveler. May I help you?" the fat man smiled but he was still annoyed.

"I'm a beginner in this game. Is there something I can do to get more familiarized around fighting? And I want to level up faster" Havoc said. He doesn't have the time to be spending his entire life in the game. He has part-time work and school to worry about. That's why while he's in the game, he should maximize his time and level up a couple of times. It's great that Royal Road has this very awesome feature. The time inside the game is faster than in the real world. A day or two may have pass in the game but in the real world it's just three hours.

"My.. you are a complete beginner, correct? Then here's a little gift for you"

*Trriing*

A pop up window appeared before.

You have received a [beginner's Pack]. Because the Guild Leader is in a good mood, he gave you 5 [small HP Potion] and 5 [small Mana Potion]

Talk about lucky. Since he's a newbie, he really can't do anything around without money. His opinion to the fat has changed. His meany-looking face has softened and got more comfortable with the man.

"My daughter Anna left to play with grasshoppers on the grass field by the edge of the town. It's getting more and more dangerous outside lately. Can you help me pick her up?" the fat man looked worried. Somehow, it felt like someone is really troubled.

*Trriing*

By then, a pop up window appeared.
The Guild Leader's daughter is playing in the dangerous grass field. Go and bring her back. The place can be dangerous. The quest can only be done when you are in a party of three to five. Do you accept?

Rewards: Beginner's Equipment set, 100 copper, 50 exp.

The quest seems easy. And the rewards are rather great for such a newbie like him. With no further ado, he accepted the quests.
Havoc left the tavern with the fat man waving at him. Now, he needed to recruit members. As a newbie like him, there's no way someone will just party with him. Newbies usually stick with higher level players for protecting. Newbies like him are often targeted by PKs after all.

As he passed by a bridge, he looked at the beautiful flow of water. He was looking at it that he didn't notice he bumped into someone. Only when the guy started speaking that he finally realized what just happened.

"S-Sorry, I didn't mean to!"

"No, I'm at fault as well. I was staring at the river I did not notice you. Sorry" Havoc apologized and looked at the guy. His clothes were bare minimum like him... so he's probably a beginner. Havoc took courage and spoke.

"Are you a beginner? I am a beginner as well. I have a quest, but it can't be done if I don't have a party with me. Do you mind coming with me? The quest is really easy.."

Jimahe winced softly as he failed to stand up from the first try - damn his clumsiness... Although he also blamed it on this damn slippery grass. He just had to fall down next to the river, didn't he... The saint huffed out softly when he finally stood up, but unconsciously tried to shrink himself at least a little bit in front of this huge guy... Damn, he was scary-looking... Ahhh, what if this was a higher-level player? Oh, who was he kidding?! Of course he was! The blue eyes trailed down to the ground as he gulped down nervously, clearly a bit intimidated... Until he heard the other's apology.

His eyes widened momentarily as he stared up at the other, his jaw dropping slightly. "Y-Yeah, I'm a beginner..." He muttered out at first as he tilted his head to one side - he was feeling so much more relaxed now that the other said he was a beginner as well... Really, what a relief! A small, shy smile made its way to Jimahe's face as he listened to what the other had to say while his eyes widened once more - this guy wanted to form a party with him?

"Oh... Uhm... Sure, I'd love that, but... I don't really have anything right now, so I don't think I'd be of much help at all..." The young male muttered out with a soft sigh as he looked away for a moment. He was trying to think of the worst possible outcome of this - he'd be thrown out of the party if he failed, probably... Eh, that wasn't so bad. With a smile, Jimahe quickly worked over the options and glanced at Havoc while tilting his head to one side. "Actually, I'd like to join... I mean, if you don't mind working with me, that is."

After these words, Jimahe quickly sent out an invitation for the male to join parties.

You have sent out an invitation to join your party to the following user: Havoc. Please await for the user's response.

Jimahe glanced at the male in front of him with the same shy smile on his face. So, this guy was Havoc...

"O-Oh, by the way, I'm Jimahe." The man introduced himself while extending his arm for a handshake - he didn't know if he was even supposed to do this in the game, but it was a habit of him already... So why the hell not?

Havoc seemed nice, anyway... Not anywhere as intimidating in person as he seemed from further away. Though.. Even with the same shorts and shirt as he himself was, this guy seemed far more dangerous... Definitely not like himself though.

Even now, Jimahe knew he'd take something like a healer when they could choose their classes... This guy would probably be some kind of an attacker, at least it seemed that way from his appearance. The green-haired male didn't even realize he was kind of... Staring...

Players, NPC's and other creatures filled the city streets. Made the whole scenario even more alive than it already was. Hyun Ki had to admit that the game had better graphics than most of the games he had played. Also the fact that it was a game to the Game Capsule was also a plus on that side. The now white haired boy though suddenly stopped when something interesting caught his gaze. A tavern, which luckily enough was also a Beginner's Guild could suddenly be found in the masses of people. A small smirk appeared on the boy's lips as he then began to move closer to the building.

For the most of the time he played as a solo player. It felt like a bother to play with other players. Especially if they were in a lower level than himself. Besides, it always ended up with him protecting them so he had stopped accepting party requests and joining guilds. No instead he worked his way through the game like a lonely wolf. And he usually enjoyed it quite a bit. But now when he stood in front of the fat man that was supposed to be the guild leader he couldn't help but raise one of his eyebrows in both irritation and shock.

Games could be played in two ways. Alone or together with others. But apparently, Royal Road was something entirely different. A game that from the first quest ordered one to party up with others? He gritted his teeth and then snorted. Well, if he had actually had an chance to expect it then maybe he wouldn't have been so annoyed by the fact that he couldn't play solo. But what he truly thought about was the other solo players that had went here before him. They were surely just as upset as he himself was at the moment being. But even so, the reward for the first quest were pretty acceptable. So well, he just assumed that he had no other choice than to accept. If he wanted to level up quickly this was necessary. With a light sigh he began to leave the tavern after himself, walking in a rather quick pace as his red eyes searched for possible beginners that wouldn't end up being a burden.

Morte sighed; it was hard to search for the quest giver. Along the way he stopped to ask some more experienced players. They showed him the way to the guild house, apparently the first stop for newbie's like himself at least the 'Beginner Guild' written in bold letters atop the entrance told him so. The dark elf thanked the people that helped him and he only got a grin in return. "Hey, when you're a higher level we can party up sometimes. How about it?" the other asked him, a fighter apparently. His name was Arctic Wolf and his avatar was quite normal to say the least. "Thank you, I will remember you're offer Wolf. Till we meet again." Vita spoke, excusing himself from the little party that helped him and stepped into the tavern. As soon as the door closed behind him, he noticed a few players sitting in the corner of the tavern and one white haired male speaking to the bar keeper. It didn't take long for the other to leave however and thus Vita was able to speak to the bulkier male. "Excuse me sir. I would like to take on a few quests if possible." he spoke with an always polite tone. Morte had decided to make his dark elf a well mannered individual. Though he did not really know why, it just seemed to fit his mental image of his avatar.

"Ah well hello there traveller. So you’re a beginner too hm? Nowadays a lot of new faces pop out here. Since I am the leader of this guild I will gift you some starting items. We don't want to have you dead after a few fights right?" he fat- I mean, good equipped guild leader said and soon a screen popped up.

You have received a [beginner's Pack]. Because the Guild Leader is in a good mood, he gave you 5 [small HP Potion] and 5 [small Mana Potion]

With a thankful smile he packed the things away and equipped them. A small bronze dagger and a new pair of shoes. "Thank you." Vita replied and looked towards the guild leader again. "Oh goodness me, it seemed Anna walked off yet again. And I told her not to walk to far ahead. Young traveller, I might need your help on this one." the old man said and soon enough another window opened before Vita.
"Since you were so nice to me, I accept. We don't want you’re daughter to get hurt after all." the dark elf replied and accepted his very first quest. The NPC's seemed almost lively so Vita decided to interact with them like this. Maybe there was some kind of hidden 'fame' gauge installed after all. So if he would be nice to the NPC's then he might have some advantages in the future. Who knows? One thing is for sure though, the might be programmed to do this, sometimes NPC's were involved in some event. The whole story behind them was something Vita was fascinated with. Though he hadn't played a game in a while, he really loved reading books. Thus he was a little story fan. He loved to know about NPC's or the like. It made this all the more worthwhile. He was ripped out of his little musing however when another window appeared.
You have accepted the quest. Please be reminded that you need to recruit a party to do this quest.

"Very well, I shall take my leave. Till later guild leader." the newbie said and left the tavern. So now he needed to find a party. But how should he go on about this. He can't just ask random players walking around. So he decided to walk towards the quest area, maybe someone was already there and he could join them.

"I have accepted. It seems you are the party leader... I hope you don't mind" He said regretfully. He wanted to be the party leader. He's the better looking between the two, and he's probably going to be more skillful than him... so he's suited better. However, when he realized that his narcissism has occured again, Havoc said nothing and sighed deep.

"Two more to go. Would you mind walking around a bit to recruit people? I see people who seemed to be low level and is looking for party members as well... like them" Havoc said as he pointed at two people, one was coming out from the [beginner's Guild].

Jimahe's eyes widened slightly at all of the pop-ups. The last one caught his eye especially...

"W-Wait, party leader?!?" The man bit down on his lip as he looked away and shook his head. Jimahe was not cut out to be a leader at all! He didn't know how could he ever give out commands to others...

"How about we collect all the members and then decide on the leader?.. I-I'm really not a good choice.." Jimahe muttered out quietly as he sighed out and looked down at the ground. He'd begun fiddling with his thumbs - he always did that when he was nervous or embarrassed.

"I can go ask, but... Uhm... I'll just run to the Begginer's Guild real fast, okay? I want to see if they have anything for begginers... I didn't really do anything before... I... Bumped into you..." Jimahe murmured out under his nose before quickly turning around and running off - if he stayed any longer, he knew he would've embarrassed himself even more.

The green-haired male walked closer to the guild until he noticed a, well, rather fat man sitting at a table. Jimahe walked up to him and let out a small smile.

"Excuse me, would you happen to be the Master of this guild?" Jimahe asked somewhat shyly while the man flashed him a wide smile.

"Greetings, traveler. I am the Master of the Begginer's Guild. I see you have formed a party already - why don't you have a small gift?" Jimahe seemed slightly surprised, but definitely not in a bad way. Begginer's gifts, sweet!

Jimahe smiled widely and nodded quickly to the man, then ran back out of the guild. He began looking around for some people - and one definitely caught his eye. The mere fact that he had lynx ears and a tail was... Surprising, at the very least.

"I-I'm sorry, are you a begginer?" Jimahe asked softly once he'd reached the man. His eyes seemed hopeful as he smiled softly and tilted his head to one side. "I'm searching for party members!"

The smell of bread, flowers and forest hanged over him. The light from the sun far away up in the blue sky threw it's light over the city and made it almost glow. Even though it looked realistic, it still had some features that revealed that it was a game. For example the surreal shape some of the buldings had. Some were small and round. Others were long and tall. And last but not least, this was not a scene that you could look out at from your window. No, it was surreal. And that was made him love games. It just made the proccess of leaving reality easier.

While looking through his backpack and the stuff he apparently had gotten from the Guild Leader, suddenly an unfamiliar voice reached out to him. Or at least he thought it was him the stranger was talking to. Closing his backpack window and turning around he laid his eyes on a green haired boy. Or man. Young man. He was politely. First impression of the other one was that he would probably go after something as an healer. He seemed a little too kind for the role as a Warrior or Archer, as he himself planned to become at level 15. A goal that was still far away.

As he examined the other one his rose red eyes slightly narrowed, then a small smirk appeared on his lips as he straightened his back. Why not? "Well yeah, I'm Hyuki by the way and while we're still talking" Hyun Ki made a short paus to take a calm breath and then point at the dark elf that were wandering off to a different direction than their. "He's also a beginner, ask him too if you don't already have all the party members". Earlier he had walked past that dark elf in the tavern. And since he had been in the BEGINNER TAVERN it was more than possible that he were in the same situation as himself.

Vita continued his way towards the quest area but was stopped by an NPC merchant that offered him some wares. In the beginners pack was a bit of money but not enough to really buy something but browsing won't hurt so the dark elf stopped and looked through the items on display. The merchant had some rare ingredients that were needed for crafting apparently and he also offered some explanations about jobs. Since Vita was a beginner in games he decided listening to an explanation of the jobs he could take up in 'Royal Roads'. At a beginner level he didn't really see what benefitted him the most but he guessed it wouldn't hurt to inform himself now instead of later. There were many possible jobs so it took a while for him to listen to all the explanations.

After getting a mind map of the job system, he asked the merchant about classes. Since he picked a dark elf and his name was 'Life and Death' he thought about choosing a mage class but which was the big question. There was healer, standard mage but also the sage. After a quick briefing about the different mage classes, one in particular stood out among the others. The sage would fit his image of Vita Morte perfectly, the mage of life and death. It seemed to be a harder class to learn and to master however. Maybe to hard for a beginner like him but Vita decided to take the risk. The dark elf loved challenges, even in real life.

So with his class in mind an also the knowledge over the job system, he continued his way towards the quest area but kept a lookout for others that might join his cause.

The green haired guy rushed off as he suggested to decide for the party leader once the required number of party members for the quest is fulfilled. Havoc was wondering why the guy left on his own. They could have went together and it'll be more convincing to form a party with more people around. With nothing to do, Havoc checked his back pack.

Havoc was shocked to see a purple colored [beginner's Pack]. Purple colored Items are usually unique items in the MMORPG games he had played. However, he soon realized there's nothing special about it. All newcomers who have come to the [bEGINNER'S GUILD] must have received the same pack. The reason why it's a unique class item must be because it's only legible to newcomers who have visited the guild upon logging on. Curious, Havoc tried identifying the item.

With no further ado, Havoc used the extract command. He wanted to see for himself what's inside the pack. Moreover, it'd be better if he have some more items in his back pack since he's going to be in a quest.

"Extract [bEGINNER'S PACK]"

An hourglass appeared before him. Upon completely filling up one side, a pop up window appeared.
There was not any surprising items inside. He could have received some rare item but Havoc admitted he was being too hopeful. Still, a wooden sword which is a weapon is going to be handy in case he gets into trouble.

"Equip [Wooden Sword]"

Havoc said as a wooden sword appeared on his hand. A pop up window also appeared which was a list of equipped items plus the effects they had. Wooden sword has a +1 Strength and +1 Agility added to his stats. It may looked so small but as a new player, every stats count.

Tetsu headed to where the quest was located. Of course, he could have waited for Jimahe to come back but since he did not want to waste time, he headed for the quest location. He can also opt to [Whisper] him - a feature which can help a user communicate a party member, guild member and a friend from a distance.

On his way, he was stopped by an NPC merchant selling him stuff. It was too much for him since he roughly had 100 bronze and the cheapest the merchant had was a 500 bronze earring which does nothing but give +1 luck. With nothing to buy, Havoc left the merchant but stopped when it started talking.

"Will you not buy? A user just came and asked stuff. I should just become an information broker rather than a merchant."

After sighing, the merchant weakly smiled as he turned away. Havoc realized that someone must have come here who was new enough to ask about jobs. He ran fast hoping to catch up to the guy. And before him was a guy who might just be who he was looking for...

"Excuse me.... Are you doing a quest from the [beginner's Guild]?"

Jimahe let out a warm smile before glancing off at the dark elf - just moments after, he saw Havoc walking up to him. "Oh, it seems another member is already taking care of that~" The young male said with a soft chuckle. He turned back to Hyuki and smiled warmly before sending out a party request.

Jimahe furrowed his brows lightly at the sight of a purple object. Weren't those really rare?.. Oh, wait, he got this after his visit to the Begginer's Guild! Guess everybody got these then...

"Hey, check you inventor, do you also have a purple item?" Jimahe asked a bit absent-mindedly as he quickly used the extract command. He was a bit curious - there probably weren't any rare things, but maybe a weapon of some kind?

"Extract [bEGINNER'S PACK]"

An hourglass appeared in front of him. Well, this was a nice touch... The green-haired male let out a soft hum as he waited for one side to fill and a tablet suddenly appeared in front of him.

Jimahe frowned the slightest bit at the weapon. A staff? This was his weapon? Well... Guess this would be the weapon elves got, then. Or so it seemed. Still, he got food, more money and bandages. He could probably start off now...

"Equip [Wooden Staff]." He commanded firmly as the staff appeared in his hand. It really didn't look like the best weapon... But, at least he could block some attacks with this thing.... Right?

His left eyebrow was raised into a bow as his eyes followed the man's gaze. And soon after he found himself observing a well build stranger that approached the dark elf. Oh? He already had recruited a member? Shortly after he was interrupted by a sound and then a window that appeared out of nowhere.

Hyuki let some few seconds pass as he examined the window before clearing his throat and glance at the other one "Yes". The faster the better. He actually almost felt relieved. A new window popped up just shortly after. Catching his attention for a second time.

Well that could be changed later. Doing it now would only ruin the mood, besides he wouldn't want him to get suspicious right away. He needed this party, and risking it even before they had reached the quest destination was a stupid thing to do.

Clicking the window down he opened up a new one that showed the members of the party. Jimahe, Havoc and himself were the ones that were listed in the window. It also showed which level each of them currently had and what race they had choosed. Jimahe was an elf. Havoc had choosed to be a human. And he, he was what he had choosed. Though he didn't exactly know why but the name Havoc, sounded awfully familiar. Well maybe this guy had taken the name from a advertising on the TV? Anyway, it just felt like he had heard it before.

Letting out a light sigh he glanced over at the other player before closing the window and gently grabbing his hand. Almost in a little reserved manner. Thereafter he quickly withdrew his hand and instead placed them on his hips while observing the dark elf and the stranger which he assumed was 'Havoc'.

"Hey, check your inventor, do you also have a purple item?"

Hyuki slightly frowned at his words before parting his lips and giving out the command.

"Open item Window"

His lips took a slight curve as he examined what he had received from that old fat man. Well, it wasn't bad. But it wasn't good either. Two arrows. That wouldn't help that much. But at least he would be able to defend himself, or well he could always hope. Though according to his experience, the first quests and monsters was easy to defeat and to complete. It was when the monster got up in lvl 10 they started to have more Health and stronger attacks.

"Equip [Wooden Bow, Wooden Arrows and Beginner quiver]".

He could at least be happy about the fact that the Human Lynx race was a race especially created for the Archer class. Slipping down the arrows in the quiver on his back he hanged the bow over his shoulder.

"So should we go and meet up with your friend?".

Vita continued his slow pace and looked around. Though he was wearing a blindfold, he could see through it. It was as if the blindfold wasn't really there. It was probably a feature of the game, to allow Vita to still see through it. It was nice; at least he didn't have to concentrate on his hearing at least. His surroundings were becoming a bit more rural, signalling him that he was getting closer to the quest area, before stopping when someone shouted after him. At least he guessed it was for him, since no one else was around except some NPC's here and there. Vita turned around to face the other, a human male with long silver hair. The other was wearing nearly the same clothing as the dark elf, so he presumed the other was a beginner too.

"Yes, the one with the little girl right? Are you perhaps still searching for a party member?" the dark elf guessed freely. With this avatar he wanted to not talk much, since his real self would always be expected to take leadership and talk like a fountain with praises, charm and the other things. It was getting annoying so he wanted his character to be a quite but polite player. While waiting for the other to talk again, Vita decided to browse his inventory and his quest log.

The purple coloured item name immediately caught his attention. The potions were only coloured a dull white but it seemed like the little package he received from the guild leader would help him start his adventure, at least the name of it was suggesting it. So without waiting he opened the item with a simple word.

Soon enough the purple lined item disappeared and he had some healing items and a staff in his inventory. The display showed that it was a weapon so Vita didn't wait with equipping it. "Equip [Wooden Staff]" and soon enough he was carrying a large staff. It seemed like the dark elf was also considered more mage like so beginners in that race got a staff. It would suit Vita Morte just fine but he wondered if there were books as weapons or if he actually needed some. Preferable he would like to use chants and his own hands to conduct the life and death magic. But well, time would only tell for now he will have to use the staff it seemed.

"Yes, the one with the little girl right? Are you perhaps still searching for a party member?"

The guy responded. Havoc was shocked to see the guy blindfolded. However, what shocked him more was the fact that the guy had been walking just fine... and he was on his way to the quest area. Havoc assumed that the guy was able to see through the blindfold, in a way or another. He was still a beginner in this game so he doesn't really know how race functions.

He know the basic stuff though. Some race are more adept at some skills than the other. Take an Orc for example. They have the biggest Strength early on but they have low agility. Their HP may be moderate but they survive with their self buffing skills. Havoc could have taken another race yet he still stuck with Human. Humans are known to be moderate. Skills are evenly distributed early on until players can freely distribute points. They specialize at nothing but one reason Human race is popular is because it can take most of the advancement class in other races. If one is not sure what advancement Job to get, Human is sure the best to start.

Still, Havoc doesn't know what to choose and he's not worrying about it yet. He has not even leveled up so class advancement is far off.

"Yeah... We're looking for party members... there's two of us...." Havoc then opened his party window when an unknown user was listed under his name.

"Hyuki?" Havoc muttered as he soon continued talking "Actually we're three.. just now. We're beginners in the game so you won't gain much by partying with us... but would you mind partying with us?"

As he waited, Havoc uses the [Whisper] function to talk with . If the guy will join them, then they're good to start. He just need to inform his party members that they are near from the location of the quest.

"Err... Jimahe.. You found a member? I'm also recruiting one. We're near the quest's location..."

Jimahe smiled at the pop-up and closed it before returning his attention to Hyuki. His eyes widened for a short moment as he saw the bow and arrows in the other's hands. Nice... He himself now felt a bit weird with the staff. Did he look weird as well? Probably yes.

The green-haired male nearly flinched when he suddenly heard Havoc's voice. At first he felt really, really confused - the other wasn't really visible anymore... Then he realized it must've been the [Whisper] function. It really would come in handy, or so it seemed.

"Of course, we'll head there right away." He answered quickly to Havoc before glancing up at Hyuki with a smile. "Let's go, they're near the quest area. We can start soon~"

The blue-eyed male let out a few soft hums as he walked towards their destination. He was getting excited, actually... Of course, in a game as detailed as this one, probably everyone would get excited! Just thinking about various enemies or activities and even the smallest things as everyday stuff made shivers run down his spine. This game was really promising...

After a while of walking, Jimahe noticed Havoc and lightly waved at him with a light smile on his face as he ran up to him, looking around at each party member. "Okay, now that we have our party, we should decide on the leader. For now, I'm the leader, but... I'd honestly prefer if someone else took the role from me." The green-haired male seemed a bit embarrassed as he talked. Usually people wanted to be leaders, but not him...

Finishing up the last little details regarding the bow, the quiver and the arrows so that he could move around without feeling uncomfortable at all he noticed that the other one obviously was a little surprised after having seen the difference in their weapons. Well, he couldn't really help it though. His weapon, was for this moment definitely the better one. But it could also be a rather heavy drag. Since he had only two arrows he would have to use them absolutely correctly to damage his enemies. Besides, he would probably also have to go and fetch them afterwards. By himself. Which of course, would lead to a bigger chance to get attacked if the enemy was still alive. But since he hadn't leveled up yet, and the monsters were weak he would simply just have to be a little careful. The ears on on his head made a slight movement back and forwards as he waited for an answer. At the same time his tail continued to move sideways. It felt nice having the ears and the tail. It kinda made him feel a little more...special.

Hyuki drew a hand through his white short messy hair and then quietly followed his partner. Such a seemingly optimistic man.

Soon enough it seemed like they had reached the other party members since Jimahe waved and ran the last past. Like a kid. Either way, there was only men oh well he couldn't exactly know though if all of them were men in 'real life' too. But here at least, all of them were men. One white haired and one with a blindfold. The dark elf from before. And when the question about the leadership was brought up, he remained quiet. Well he didn't want to be the leader. It was just a lot of responsibilities that followed that role. But foremost, he didn't want to because he didn't want to be the one responsible for the comrades death if they now did die under the quest. He could take care of himself, but not others.

"Actually I would be delighted too; I was searching for a party myself." Vita answered the other male's question and stuck the staff to his back for easy access. The dark elf didn't want to carry it around all day so it would have to do for now. While he waited for the other's respond and the party invite, he examined the other. The silver haired male was probably a human, at least no other 'appendages' proved otherwise. As a dark elf, Vita Morte, spotted some pointy ears and horns on his head. Thankfully he didn't have a tail, it would probably only be a hassle. His teeth were slightly sharper too but not to sharp thankfully. The dark elf race was actually a nice class but in the character creation it was a pain in the ass to choose from so many races. There were other's that were really interesting but Vita wanted something slightly more 'normal' so he didn't choose the orc or any other.....well monstrosity. Though there were also some other moderate races like normal elves and the lynx race, he was more than glad to have chosen the dark elf. It was fitting with his image of Morte Vita anyway.

Soon enough the two other party members joined their friend. An elf and a lynx.....what a coincidence. But Morte wasn't one to judge so he greeted the others with a small hello and a bow. But even now it was obvious who the 'happy-go-luck' one was. The other on the hand, the lynx, was almost looking reserved. Thanks to his upbringing he was a good judge of character. But no, he did not really want to be party leader. That was what he tried to avoid anyway, the life of a leader and its responsibilities. Vita was actually a good leader but at time it's was more of a hassle to really think about what to say or to do. "I will have to decline. I am not a game person so I will probably be a bad leader anyway." he said, lying his way halfway through.

Shortly after, Jimahe and Hyuki had arrived at their location. Havoc waved at them, well he had to. The other guy did not know his face, so at least this will gave them some form recognition. They had arrived quicker than he thought. Well Alabaster is not much of a big city. The reason why it's popular is because most of the NPC around give quests with favorable rewards... or so. He had only heard people saying them when he walked around earlier so there'd be no other way to confirm it but to do the quest and get the reward.

"Welcome to the group Hyuki. I'm Havoc. I had only joined recently, but I had been quite a player when MMORPG was a blast years ago. I also use the same username as then, so if it happens that some of you knows me from before, that'd bee cool" He said as he gave Hyuki a gentle smile. Jimahe started asking about the leadership of the party. He so wanted to volunteer. However, he was playing to cure his narcissism not to boost it any further. In the end, he thought it's better to change the subject.

"Err... It's good you're fired up, but we're forgetting something. We have not invited Morte Vita to our party yet. Let me do it quick"

"Ehh? I did not know that! Jimahe... it says it needs your approval!" Havoc said. He was surprised such function exist. When he first started playing MMoRPG, there was no such thing as approval or the sort. He guess it's because games always evolve.

Jimahe stared at each one of the party members with eyes slowly filling with fear. "W-What? No, I refuse to be the leader! I'll fail, and then we'll all fail, and it'll be my fault and I don't know how to lead people!" The young male was clearly starting to stress out. He looked down as he clenched his fists and bit down on his lower lip. "Havoc, I know you'd be a better leader! You... You just look like you can do the job properly..." Jimahe was slowly losing hope. He'd be a real failure as a leader. He didn't have any strategies and he definitely didn't know how to order people around.

Jimahe sniffled softly as he stared at the pop-out. He sighed before lowering his gaze a bit, almost like a hurt puppy.

Jimahe let out a quiet sigh as he tool care of that and looked down at the ground. "Do us all a favor, please... I really won't be able to do any good if I'm the leader..." The young male almost whispered out as he gazed at the grass next to his feet. He could never lead anyone, or anything. He could barely even train a pet. Jimahe was truly a failure when it came to leadership. It would be a lot better if someone with a better mind and self-confidence took over the part. His blue eyes showed just how uncertain and scared he was about this.

Slowly, he took a small step back before letting out a calm, slow breath. "I'm the least suited for the role here. I don't have any strategies, I don't know what's best for our party and.. I just fail at being a leader. Besides, I plan on becoming a mage or saint later on... Party Leader should be something stronger, don't you guys think so?" Jimahe tried to convince the others while gazing at each one of the members. He hoped someone would change his mind...

Hyuki's face lightened up in a small smile as the tall white haired man greeted him. Well, he surely recognised the name. But if they had accidently played in a party before remained, unknown. Maybe, just maybe he had met him under his first year in gaming when he had still joined guilds? Though, it seemed like he wouldn't get a opportunity to ask since suddenly the green haired man burst out his dismay about being the leader. The white haired boy raised an eyebrow at his nervous reaction. It truly seemed like the other one didn't like this situation. And since no one else wanted to take the role as a leader the whole thing would not turn out as he wanted.

Usually, he stayed in the background. The quiet but reliable player. And usually, most of the people in gaming didn't have anything against being the leader. This was one strange party. "Well, take it easy Ji-chan. It's not the end of the world, besides this is just a game. If no one else wants to be the leader then I guess I can take the role, but you'll have to take care of yourselves. Besides, just because one person is the leader it doesn't mean that just that one person has to make all the decisions right?" The boy's eyes softened as he crossed his arms over his chest and looked at the slightly longer man beside him. "So don't look so down. If you guys want we can just randomly appoint one leader and then take all decisions together?".

//Guess that's okay, even loot for everyone. It's not like we can't trade after all.// the dark elf thought, browsing through the party screen. Morte hasn't been playing games a lot especially no mmorpgs so he was a bit unfamiliar with the whole party thing. He saw his 'friends' names, their class as well as their level. Morte wasn't even sure what it meant to lead a party. Was he really taking up other things besides the responsibility? Maybe he had enchanted options like buying stuff and so on? Morte Vita didn't know but in truth he didn't want to be a leader again.

But apparently nobody wanted to lead and the dark elf guessed he had the best leader potential anyway, seeing as he was already a mafia don. "Well, I can agree with Hyuki-san. Since no one else does, I can be appointed default leader but I favour the whole decision making with everyone. Since I am a newbie with games in general I need some help anyway." he finally spoke, offering his own help. Morte didn't want to be the leader but if it is just a leader in name then he can totally live with it. Making decisions was sometimes pretty hard so he would favour the input of the others. And if the party needed a scapegoat then he okay with it. It wasn't like he never handled sticky situations. Living a life in the darkness did have some advantages. His life has prepared him for almost everything. Murder, scams and everything else. Morte was sure that he could at least handle virtual death better then a death in the real world.
