He swam off back to the nest to check on Yukie. Meanwhile Adrian was still doing his rounds around the aquarium. Having more responsibility now Lucas had more or less gave the place to him. "Its warm" he mumbled confused even more since they hadnt mated so he was trying to peice together if Ayme had gone into heat to have his own child like their species where known for if they didnt settle with a mate. Puffing up slightly Yukie wrapped around Ayme more as he lead him closer to the nest wanting his mate to rest and care for their new addition. Ayme tried to act tough, he didn't want to be seen as weak just because he had an extra addition. But he knew Yukie was just trying to help so he accepted and curled down in the rocks. LoneDigger Posted July 20, 2019 Share Posted July 20, 2019 Ayme despite his usual aggressive demeanor was not at all like that towards kids. He was actually quite the opposite. Gentle, patient, even nurturing at times. But he would still fuck anyone up who tried to bother his family. But right now he was happy just to play with Cheri. "They can't hurt you, those are fish we eat. But you have good instinct... some fish can bite back or sting, so you have to know the food from the danger." Peeking out at the fish cherry went back out to swimming doing happy little circles and exploring all the diffrent rocks that where laying around for nice decoration. He kept a close watch, but from a distance. He didn't want to interfere with his exploring but knowing he was more of a target with his pale coloring did keep the merman alert to possible danger. He didn't think anything inside the tank was harmful necessarily, but there were some humans staring at them through the glass and he hissed at them to go away, to stop staring at his son. Cherry noticing the humans watching him huffed slightly before moving more to the sand hia body shifting and burying himself in the tank so they couldn't see him as well. He didn't think it was their fault their parents didn't teach them better. In fact, he could tolerate them, but the grown ups were not welcomed. Only they wouldn't budge! "Seen enough?"
