    Pleasurable Business 1x1 +18 PRIVATE w/-Hideki-

    Character Information
    Spoiler:

It is the season of love and everyone around is making that well known. Everyone is feeling the romantic air all except Nara Yoshiyuki. Nara was one of the few who found romance to be honestly sickening. This was a feeling he developed over time due to the stigma of society. He was born into this world as a male omega. Omegas were known to be on the bottom of the food chain in the world. Alphas were top class and then there were betas. They fell in the middle which left those not truly caring one way or another about them. There were times that Nara wished he could have been born an beta. In this way he wouldn't have to worry so much about being looked down upon. However this kind of stigma wasn't all too bad. Nara used the perception that other's have about him to be the drive him to success. He was top of his classes and even landed a decent position in a powerhouse of a company.

It was within Darwin Technologies, a business that specialized in creating robotics and artificial intelligence that Nara found his passion. Researching and testing out new products for his superiors. It was also this company that Nara found his first signs of potential love. The CEO of the company. A man who was both powerful and talented. He was Also an alpha which Nara instantly knew was someone way beyond his reach. However that didn't stop him from casually glancing his way in the halls or occasionally daydreaming about him in the break room. It was simply harmless since no one knew of this. The man was obviously popular with many of the female and some male employees. Nara knew they would most likely end up with him or some successful alpha that would be hand picked to be his soulmate. The idea often made him sad but it didn't stop him. Nara soon had to admit that he might have gotten bitten by the love bug as well.

It was a Tuesday evening in the office and Nara was working late. Some of his coworkers had piled up their work on his desk and he was stuck completing it. This was the usual treatment of omegas. He had long ago gotten use to it so he never bothered to complain. He just decided to continue to working until everything was complete. It was about around midnight that he decided to take a small break and get himself a coffee. 'I truly wish those bastards would do their own work...' he thinks to himself as he enters the break room.

    Aaron Harlow

    Gender: male
    Age: 37 years
    Height: 1,83m
Hair colour: dyed blue and black
    Eye colour: blue
    Hierarchical Rank: αlpha
    Sexual Orientation: homosexual
Occupation: CEO and founder of ‘Darwin’s Technology’
    Education: PhD in Artificial Intelligence
    Biography:
Aaron Harlow was born the eldest son of alpha rank citizen Oskar Harlow Professor of information technology at a renowned university and alpha rank citizen Amanda Harlow born Kristiansen investment banker. He has a younger brother, Kyle Harlow who is estranged with his parents and not on speaking terms with Aaron.

Being ambitious, forward and assertive in nature Aaron easily mastered the expectations his family had put on him. He went straight through the system without looking back, left or right the certainty back in mind that he would come out on top in the end anyway as it was in his DNA to be powerful and high-up.
It was after his PhD that he stood at a crossroad for the first time. His father had always planned for Aaron to become a professor too, to devote his life to knowledge and academia but Aaron wanted more than that. It was not enough for him to be a renowned and highly respected authority on a specific scientific field he wanted more money, more power, more influence, to change society and to dominate the market with his creations. Hence he decided against the path already laid out for him and founded a company that would soon outdo its competition and become the dominant company for artificial intelligence, robotics and information technology and it expanded not only nationwide but also internationally.

Aside from his carrier that just couldn’t go any better it didn’t seem to flourish just as well when his father decided on his 30th birthday that he should have been married by now already asking him when he was planning to. His father had already chosen a woman compatible in rank from a powerful family years ago and Aaron had turned his father down and kept him waiting by saying that his Education and then the establishing of his company was much more important than marriage and that he had no time for this. And while Aaron had thought he could just shut his father up with excuses whilst spending the nights of his weekends in clubs and bars, having hook-ups and sometimes relationships that were like a firework, physical, passionate, colourful, explosive, loud and incredibly short, he had to realise that this was not going to work any longer and that he had to tell his father that he was attracted to men.
That he did and his father was mad that he had not told him before because he had to disappoint the woman’s father now and had to find a suitable male marriage candidate for him then.

Aaron was not thrilled about marring the man his father had chosen for him but at the age of thirty-one he got married to Miroslav Kowalski, societal rank alpha, son of two famous opera singers who was one of the most inquired music producers worldwide. However neither of them felt any chemistry or romance towards one another. They tried making a normal marriage work between them but failed miserably. Not only did both of them have a much too dominant personality which constantly clashed they also were sexually incompatible and when they tried to sleep with each other they were just trying to fight the other down as they were both tops. So after beating each other up they tried to figure something out and they came to the realisation that the only thing that the both of them were okay doing with each other was handjobs, rubbing their dicks against each other or mutual masturbation. Since neither of them was satisfied with their ‘sex-life’ nor their relationship they decided to get separate bedrooms, only keep the marriage on paper and for their families who would search for another suitable candidate that they didn’t want if they divorced but actually broke up, remaining as housemates and friends with a lot of conflict between them due to the constant fight over dominance in their house and their friendship. Aaron returned to sleeping around every once in a while and Miroslav tried dating someone but every guy he dated got deterred by his living situation with Aaron, the fighting and the token marriage.

    ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
    ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

There was a distant voice breaking through his dream that clearly didn’t belong there. At first it wasn’t that prevalent and easily ignored in the background but it gradually became louder cutting through the dream forcing him to wake up. A frown appeared on his face but he didn’t open his eyes yet. The voice was now clear and he realised that it was Miro’s voice who seemed to stand in the doorframe of his bedroom.
    Spoiler:

Aaron didn’t really listen, he blinked and managed to open one eye gazing over to his alarm clock that was telling him that he had two hours left to sleep. He took his pillow and turned onto his stomach in an attempt to cover his ear with the pillow. “Piss off. I have two hours left. Say whatever nonsense you wanna say then.” He hissed sleepily and tried to fall back asleep.

Apparently the rejection had angered Miro though who by no means was willing to take Aaron’s insolence and seconds later he felt the weight of a man jumping onto his back making him yowl. Next thing he knew was his husband on paper who really was merely his housemate pulling the pillow away from his face. This time Aaron’s eyes both opened and he threw a death glare to the man who was sitting on his back. “My ice-cream!” Miro said and Aaron’s expression darkened. “What about your stupid ice-cream.” The man with the dyed blue hair asked. “It’s empty! Why is it empty? Because someone ate the last bit in it! And who is the only person who could have eaten it? You!” the black haired said looking at him through his glasses serious about all of this. Aaron gasped and his face was showing that he was completely angry by now. “You should have become a detective Miro.” He remarked sarcastically. “Yes, I have eaten that ice-cream… a week ago.” The man confessed and Miro’s eyes narrowed. “I wanted to eat it right now!” he told Aaron who rolled his eyes. “So….” The man said turning as far as possible under the other man. “And I couldn’t because you just ate it. And you didn’t even throw the empty pot away. And now you’re going to get out of bed, go to the supermarket and replace my ice cream!” He demanded.

Aaron looked at Miro as if he had lost his mind. “Absolutely not. I’m going nowhere. I still have about two hours to sleep and even if it wasn’t like that I wouldn’t go and replace your fucking ice-cream. Why do you want to eat that shit in the morning anyway? Send the android to the supermarket and get over it!” the woken man yelled at this point. “No! It’s about the principle. You’ve taken it, you’ll replace it!” Miro growled. “Fuck your principle!” the blue haired responded and pushed Miro from his back to turn completely. He didn’t look at the other so he was not able to see how torn in anger the other’s face was now and it came out of the blue for him when Miro threw a pillow onto his head. And as always when the two of them started to jostle for something it escalated rather quickly into a physical fight, most often with no winner like this morning.

Hence, when he stepped out of the elevator on the floor where his office was in the company no one of his employees blinked an eye when they saw the man with scratches and bruises on his face as it wasn’t all too uncommon and they had seen it quite sometimes now whenever Aaron had gotten into a physical fight. Especially during spring that was something that happened more often than during other seasons as the mating season wasn’t leaving him unaffected. The man was more aggressive than he usually was especially against competition and his sex drive was significantly higher as he felt the urge to fuck and mark and spread his seeds around as much as possible.

Having left the floor behind and hearing the door of his office falling shut he sank into the seat behind his desk. A drop of blood was dripping out of his nose onto the desk and he groaned as he saw it and leaned his head back into his neck. However, when he heard a knock and soon after the door was opened he got into a normal position again leading to more drops falling onto the glass plate of his desk. A tiny petite woman with black hair and large glasses was entering! It was Lucy his secretary who had her arms full of files to the point she wasn’t even able to look over them anymore. “Good Morning Sir!” she said with a smile on her face and Aaron’s blue eyes looked at her and how happy and carefree she looked and he shook his head. “Good morning Lu!” he greeted her back feeling his mood getting better just by seeing her smiling face behind the pile. He didn’t know anyone who didn’t like that woman. She was nice, uncomplicated, calm and had something reassuring within her presence. If he was straight he’d married her just for that ability.
    Spoiler:

Lucy placed the file on the desk and because she could actually see him now that the pile was out of her field of vision she sighed. “Did you fight with Miroslav again?” she asked. “It’s the fifth time this spring already.” The woman commented a little concern in her voice. “Yes. He looks worse though.” Aaron answered making sure to tell that he had won but neither of them really had. “Certainly!” Lu said in a warm tone of voice knowingly. “I’ll get the first-aid set and I’ll make you a coffee then.” She told him still smiling and a quick smile appeared on her boss’s face as well. “Sounds good.” He said and looked after his secretary disappearing. Lucy was a beta woman. And somehow Aaron couldn’t keep himself from admiring the freedom they had and was asking himself whether betas were actually those who had the greatest evolutionary advantage. They had no heat circle, seemed unimpressed by the impressions of the alphas as well as the pheromones of the omegas and they didn’t have that roaring ambition, that aggression and the will to constantly assert themselves, that pride and that need to come out on top and be the best. And neither did they have the submissive natures of the omegas. They were in a sense neutrality and as Aaron looked at Lucy he asked himself whether she was also able to actually love someone! To built a connection through intellect and emotions and not through biochemistry and instincts only.

Aaron had seen the concept of love in movies, he had heard about people falling in love but he had never experiences it and he doubted that he was able to. And what if he fell in love and then the time would come where he had to deal with the urge to screw and mark anything with a heartbeat? How could he be faithful to someone? Was there even a way to tame this down then? He doubted it. And that made him not want to fall in love actually. If he did he’d fuck it up, he’d feel like shit and he’d lose the person and would have to deal with a damn lot of grief on top of that.

The door opened again and his secretary returned with the first-aid set and went over to him. It wasn’t the first time that the woman patiently treated his wounds though she always reprimanded him to try to not get into physical fights this much especially not with Miro. “What are my appointments for today?” he asked her while she was disinfecting a deep scratch on his cheek. “You have a meeting with your most important investors, then you’ll have to meet up with General Graf and present him the progress the project is making, after that you have a meeting with the scientists whom you have told to work on a concept for the implementation of your newest idea and have to decided whose idea you’ll take, you have to head down to floor 3 to investigate a prototype, after that you have a speech at the university of technology to recruit potential new talents, then you’ll meet with the management to discuss how and what to present on the large robotic convention that is coming up and then you have a dinner with a client who thinks of buying an incredibly amount of different products.” She listed everything that was coming up for him that day and he realised that he would end up doing the paper work when everyone else was already gone in the end.

And it came like he had predicted. Late in the night he was sitting bend over the files, the glasses on his nose that he needed to read and the pile just didn’t seem to get smaller. “Lu!” he called for his secretary as he had to have some caffeine or he would be falling asleep long before he could finish that paperwork. But after a few seconds he realised that the secretaries work day had ended hours ago and that everyone on the floor was gone already. So he would have to grab a coffee on his own. Aaron stood from his chair and he only realised for how long he had been sitting there when he finally stood again. He walked out of his office but when he was standing there looking the floor over he realised that he had never made himself a coffee and that he had no clue where on that damn floor the machine was. Aimlessly walking around he gave it up after a while and decided to go to the employees break room. There were more than one in the company but none on this floor. So he found himself stepping into the elevator and following the signs that led to one of the break rooms as if he was a newbie or a visitor but not the CEO of that company.

After wandering through the empty building, where he had only seen some cleaning robots and some janitor robots on the floors, he arrived at a break room. Aaron had opened the black suit vest he was wearing, his tie was gone and the first few buttons of his white shirt undone. ‘Finally.’ He thought at the sight of the room before he opened the door. When he saw another man in there he was rather surprised. He examined the male who was sitting there with his coffee. He had brown eyes, brown hair and snow-white skin. And other than his own his face was smooth. No bruises, no scratches nothing. The man was wearing a laboratory coat what was telling him that he was from one of the research departments. His eyes didn’t move away from him as he tried to figure out where to put him. He had seen him before but only briefly as he had never really paid attention to him then. Harlow knew that this man was not working on the top secret Army project as he knew every worker whom he had trusted to work on that in and out. He also was not a head researcher as he knew all head researchers. So he was probably no one important. Just a regular researcher who worked at some department for him! Looking at him he was handsome nonetheless though. “Hello!” he greeted as he entered and walked towards the coffee machine. And while he waited for his coffee he leaned against the cupboard and looked over to the man again. Why was some random unimportant researcher still in the company at such an hour? Why was he still working? “What are you still doing here?” he decided to ask the man. “The researchers work ended hours ago.” He stated while he was examining the researcher.

Nara was in deep thought as he held his coffee in hand. He knew he would miss the last train him thus he would be stuck walking home. It wasn't all that bad but considering the season he honestly didn't enjoy the idea of having to walk home. He had grown tired of the type of treatment in this company. He wished he could go home and leave the work for those who were meant to complete it. However he had this happen before and the results weren't pretty. he was instantly blamed for everything. As if he was the one preventing his coworkers from not being able to complete their work. It took him forever to get hired again and living on his own wasn't as easy. So he planned while working here to lay low and avoid any unnecessary trouble as much as possible. It was a decent company and the pay was just to his liking. So there was no way in hell he'd make a fuss in his position.

As he let out a heavy sigh Nara heard a voice. One very familiar to his ears as well. He glanced up, closing his eyes to smile. He was sure he'd die instantly if he dare to look at the face before him so closely. "Hello there sir." he replied back. His voice thick, heavy like any other man but held a very tender gentleness to it. It was almost too soothing to listen to when being so tired. Nara wonders what would cause the CEO to enter such an area of the facility. This was known to be more of a commoners area to gather. Just normal employees. Though he guessed some higher ups might actually do this to check in on their lower tier employees like a spy. Thus Nara knew he had to be on his most beyond well behave self. His gaze stayed fixated upon his slowly losing warmth cup of coffee. He assumed he would be ignored but then a question came his way. 'Should I answer him...? Is he testing me...? Is he honestly curious...?' the thoughts crossed his mind at the speed of light as he parted his lips to reply. Either way he looked at it he was sure his life would be screwed if he upset this person.

"Oh well it would seem I had fallen behind in my work. Thus I wanted to finish it all before Thursday. I am just a small part of his wonderful company and I would hate to become a hindrance to it. So I truly should be going back to work as it is. I must have wasted too much time here already." he said standing up from where he was. Nara glanced over towards the male just wanting one up close look at him. He could live a lifetime of hardships hence forth if only to gaze upon this man. "Well if you'll excuse me sir. I do hope you have a good night." he said giving a respectful bow before finishing up his cup of coffee. Nara wanted to quickly get out of the break room at this point. He had gotten what he wanted in a sense and it was ten times more than he ever expected. This person was too fucking gorgeous to him. He could see why all the women in his department was always speaking of him. Though something stood out to Nara instantly. 'He has so many wounds... especially to his face...' he thought to himself though he dare not speak of it out loud. He was well educated in how some alphas enjoyed showing off their dominance through physical confrontations or in other words fighting.

The man in the room greeted him back but he didn’t look at him. His eyes stayed fixated onto his mug and Aaron raised an eyebrow now curiously as the man seemed to pretend that he was not there after the greeting actively avoiding catching sight of him. There were a few awkward seconds of silence between the questions he had asked the researcher and the other’s answer and the answer also wasn’t what he had expected. Harlow had thought he’d just casually tell him why he was still working that late but the opposite was the case. The brunette man seemed tense as he spoke and not only that he apparently thought that the CEO was trying to test him and wanted to hear some pledge of loyalty to his company by stating how wonderful this workplace was.

It amused Aaron to hear that and a smirk appeared on his face as he was still looking at the man who didn’t look at him and was still staring at his mug as if it was a fascinating object that was difficult to figure out. “I see. I appreciate your enthusiasm but don’t overdo it. If you put a week worth of work onto one day it’ll be too much and at one point you won’t be able to focus anymore and I can’t afford to have my researchers not concentrating on their work and making mistakes. A brain needs breaks, they are important.” The man with the blue hair reminded the other though he himself should actually take his own advice himself.

The man however was saying that he had wasted enough time with the break, that he had to keep going and it sounded rushed and hastily, as if he couldn’t get out of the room and away from him fast enough. It was obvious that the other had been in no hurry before he had entered the room. Aaron who was waiting for his coffee was watching the other rise from his seat and when he excused himself he looked at Harlow for the first time. Not for too long but it had definitely been a look. Aaron nodded when the other bowed and wished him a good night. “Have a good night as well.” he said and the next thing he knew was the man disappearing out of the room leaving him alone in there.

It was odd to him that the other had stormed away from him as if it was unbearable to be in his presence. Aaron had not acted in any way intimidating, he had actually appeared rather casually or so he at least thought. ‘Do I smell poorly?’ a random thought popped up on his mind and he raised one of his arms to check on that. A shrug followed as he didn’t smell too bad. He had been sweating a little during the day but not enough that this man could have sensed it, his deodorant actually was doing a decent job. So it probably had neither been his attitude nor his body odour but was just the mere fact of who he was that had made the other run from him and not wanting to chat in the break room.

The CEO sighed and turned around seeing that his cup was full of coffee now. He grabbed the mug and went back to the elevator with it to get back into his office as a bunch of work was still waiting for him and thinking about the pile of papers on his desk he already didn’t want to go back in there. He did though and he was doing paper work without a pause until no matter what he did he couldn’t focus anymore. His mind was wandering to Miro and that he’d wrack his stupid face if he’d start to nag about his ice cream again and then to the weird researcher with the cute face who had fled from him as if he was a frigging alligator who probably was still working on whatever he was working somewhere in this building but it didn’t want to go back to the work.

After he had tried to force himself back to do the paper work he was quitting for that night for good, having finished half of it. He just left everything where it was, grabbed his jacket, locked his office and left the company, walking through the empty building where he just saw the robots doing their thing. The security robot at the exit wished him a good night and he wished him one too completely forgetting that it was a machine programmed to do so in that moment as he was just too tired.

When he had gotten into his car and was driving off of the property of the company the streets seemed as empty as the building itself! There was just one man who had apparently walked off of the company’s property who was walking there alone in the darkness. It didn’t take a genius to recognise the weird guy from the break room and Aaron drove slower until he was at the same pace as the man. He used the headlight flasher and opened the window of his car. “Hey you!” he called for the man as he didn’t know his name. “You aren’t really thinking of walking all the way home are you?” he commented and leaned over to open the door of the passenger side of the car. “Get into the car I’ll give you a ride home.” Aaron offered the man hoping he wouldn’t get scared or uncomfortable to be around him and run off on him again.

    Re: Pleasurable Business 1x1 +18 PRIVATE w/-Hideki-

Nara felt as though he had done the worst possible thing in the world. He ran away from the man. To most that would appear as someone being cowardly but for Nara he was sure it was the right thing to do. He would hate to become involved in some outrageous scandal involving the CEO of this company. It was not in his outlook for the future after all. His gaze lowered as he made his way back to his workstation.

Once back he continued to go over the piles of reviews. A part of the research testing department, it was their job to test out all new AIs and find any faults with them. Since there were several of them working it was easy for one person to see something someone else hadn't. Thus it was a very important position at least to Nara. He clearly could tell none of his coworkers saw it that way. It was to the point that Nara ended up developing some rather unhealthy skill sets. One being the ability to mimic the handwriting of those he is around. It was like a crime if he was ever actually caught. However he had long gotten use to the idea of being branded as a forgery mastermind. He feared that outcome yet he wouldn't have anyone to back him up if he was ever caught.

Nara soon managed to finish and place all the finished work in its correct folders. Letting out a sigh, he cleaned up his work area and made his way out of the building. He glanced back at the building once more wondering if Aaron had left as well. He doubts he would ever encounter the other in such a close proximity after the way he bolted out the break room. He truly wished he was a beta. He might have been able to hold a decent conversation with the man without fear. "I need to remember my place in this world. No matter how much I hate it." he repeats to himself like a mantra. His feet begin to carry him down the sidewalk. It would be a two hour walk home. Nara was just glad the weather was on his side for the first time in a long time.

As he walked home something caught his attention only a block and a half away from the office. The flash of headlights in his peripherals. His heart began to race as he worried it was some random alphas looking for a good time with a stray omega. He gripped his briefcase a bit before that familiar voice from earlier reached his ears. He turned to face the other as he offered him a ride. "Sir, I hate to ask this as it might sound very rude but you do know I am an omega right." he asked rather calmly. "If so then I think it would be in your best interest to keep away from me. I would hate to tarnish your reputation around the office. Omegas are a stain on this world after all. If you'll excuse me then. Have a good night sir." he said as politely as ever as he bow his head in respect. Nara was sure he was placing unnecessary distance from the other. His expression as he stood up and was about to walk off was more pained than one would expect. He wished he could have bitten off his tongue halfway trough his own words. It was hard beyond reason to actually say it in the first place. 'This is for the best.. I think...' he thought to himself as he staggered before started to walk away.

Nara wasn't sure why but he glanced back towards the stopped vehicle in the empty night road. 'I am sure he is pissed but maybe I won't be fired...' he thinks feeling a sense of guilt flowing through him. He just found it very hard to believe in alphas no matter who they were. Even the Aaron was no exception from this thought despite being the person Nara has a crush on.

Aaron would have thought that the man from his company would thank him for the offer and just be glad that he didn’t have to walk. In no way would he have thought that the guy would be making such a fuss and would play that coy. It wasn’t like Harlow was trying to get anything from him he had just wanted to be polite, to act like a decent person regardless of being the CEO of the company. It wouldn’t have been the first time he drove someone from the company home. He had brought Lucy home once when her car had been broken, he had brought one employee home whose wife had used the car after driving her husband to work and had not managed to make it back in time to catch the man up. So this was nothing that he saw as a big deal. However for some reason this man made a big deal out of it.

The CEO looked at the handsome looking man whose actions he couldn’t make any sense of listening to what he said and his blue eyes widened a little when he told him that he was an omega for whatever reason he thought it was important to tell him this, that he should now. It wasn’t his obligation to tell him that he was an omega. He worked for his company, the only thing he was obligated to was to do a decent job, to be of value for his business. “I didn’t know though I have certainly sensed some indicators of it in your behavioural patterns.” He answered and he narrowed his brows when the man claimed that it was best if he kept away from him basically describing himself as if he was shit that Aaron better shouldn’t get stained by.

A sigh came from him as he looked at the man who increased his pace and walked away from him now what Harlow had seen coming at this point. He closed the door and shook his head. What did this guy think he wanted to do with him? Did he think he was out to get him or what? It was a hassle really and he didn’t know why it bugged him that this man ran from him like he was the fucking plague, some kind of grotesque monster he had to keep a distance from. Not to mention the obvious flaw in his logic that this was for the best. Not to mention the audacity to think that he had the ability to fuck up his reputation. Did he think his reputation was built on such a fragile and empty construct that a conversation with or offering a ride to an omega could damage it? That was actually insulting to what he had built, to who he was and to the respect he had earned in the scientific and economical world.

He didn’t know why but he didn’t step on the gas and rush past that guy blowing the exhaust gases right into his face for rejecting his presence for the second time and insulting him by making assumptions and underestimating his power and reputation. Instead Aaron drove slowly at the same pace then the other was walking leaving the window opened as he decided to give this one last try. “Don’t you think that walking home alone at night is an especially bad idea if you are an omega?” He asked. “It would be much safer for you if you’d just accept my offer and let yourself be driven home by a reputable and respectable citizen who is just trying to be nice to you than walking around through the night where you might run into the arms of dodgy people and thugs who other than me are actually out to get you.” Harlow argued and then smirked into the other’s face. “I’d also call it an exorbitant exaggerated opinion of yourself and your importance that you think that me driving you home or talking to you could harm my reputation in the slightest. My reputation is much more solid than you apparently assume it is. It’s funny as I really wouldn’t have guessed that omegas could be sophomoric in their own twisted way too. Pretty ironic.” He jested and his smirk didn’t disappear.
“So, is it still a no?” he asked. “I’m certainly not going to ask you or try to talk to you another time.” Aaron made clear and played with the gas as to demonstrate that the other had to decide quickly as he was not going to wait for much longer.

Nara was sure this would be the last of their short interactions. He would hold this short time in his memory forever. After all it was the first time he was able to hear Aaron's voice from such close proximity. It was such an alluring sound he could really drown himself listening to. As he was trying to avoid daydreaming while walking that alluring voice called out to him yet again. This time he got a completely different tone from the male. For some reason he noticed and had to admit he was truly being a bit foolish. 'To think I could ruin this man... I guess that was a bit arrogant of me...' he thought to himself as he sighs softly.

"Very well then sir. I shall take you up on your kind offer as a noble citizen. I also apologize if any of my remarks might have come off as too rude. That was never my intention." he says softly as he stopped walking. Nara wasn't sure why this person seem so fixated on driving him home. He wonders if it was just because he was an employee of his. It would make sense then but somehow he felt that he shouldn't read too much into this. 'Just take this as an act of kindness and leave it alone...' he thought to himself as he cell began ringing. He quickly silenced it knowing it would only lead to hell once he got home.

Slightly hesitant, Nara walked over towards the vehicle as he reached for the door. He was nervous as he worried the other would instantly pull away at an alarming speed. Though since that didn't seem to be the case he opened the door and slowly slipped in. He sat there buckling up. "I really do appreciate this. Again I am sorry about before." he said holding his suitcase upon his lap. "I live in the Shikoku prefecture. I hope it isn't too much of an inconvenience." he said softly as he stared at his feet. This was beyond too close for comfort. He was in the same breathing space as his crush. At this point Nara was sure he could die on the spot and have zero regrets to some extent.

The Shikoku prefecture was an area well known for the overly population of omegas. It was a mixture of overly slutty omegas right down to those trying their best to pass as betas in the eyes of some. That's the category that Nara often stuck to. He liked in an apartment complex where it was a blend of omegas and betas. He lived on his own but not entirely. His neighbor and friend since high school lived there as well. He was a beta who was often mistaken for an alpha due to his appearance and overall personality. Its because of this friend that Nara has managed to find the strength in himself to work where he does. Despite having the overall drive to prove others wrong about how they view omegas. His insecurities often got the better of him. Just as they were doing this exact moment and time. He decided to keep quiet since he didn't want to utter out anything else foolish that would warrant himself being tossed out the car.

Harlow was examining the other closely wondering what reaction that odd individual would show to him now. If he would run even faster or if he would realise that Aaron was not a predator there to hunt him down and would actually accept the offer he had made now and would start to act more casual around him. For a moment he thought the man was now going to outright ignore him regardless of how rude that would be as he was not looking around, not saying something and just kept walking but then he finally came to a halt and turned opening his mouth to speak in that oddly soft and tender voice that had some weirdly obedient undertone to it and that had been one of the indicators to Harlow that the man had been an omega though the CEO had not lied when he had said he had not known. Assumed, maybe, known, no!

A satisfied smile crossed his face when he had successfully convinced the man to take his offer after all. It felt like a win though he had no idea why getting to drive an employee of his home should be a major win for him. Maybe it was the mere fact that the man had not been willing to talk to him nor take his offer and had not reacted to him as he had expected it that had made him ambitious to get him to talk to him and not run from him anymore after all. Maybe he just refused to let anyone decline what he had offered. There was a lot one could have speculated but Harlow decided against questioning why he felt like he had won this.

The reluctant way in which he walked over to his car and how slowly he reached for the door as if his car could potentially bite him or he could burn himself on it was just as amusing to the CEO as it was odd again. “Are you thinking whether you should rather run again after all or do you get inside of the car now!?” he asked in an amused tone. “Neither the car nor I am going to bite you, I swear.” He couldn’t refrain from making a little fun of the other’s overly cautious behaviour.

Then finally the guy opened the door and sat down on the passenger seat looking rather tense as he sat there wrapping his arms around the suitcase on his lap. The first thing the man did was apologising for what he had said before another time. “No need to apologise anymore. Just forget about it.” He waved it off still grinning as he drove back onto the road and was going a lot faster than when he had been driving up to the younger man. When he looked at him from the side while he told him where he lived he couldn’t keep himself from noticing once more that this quirky omega researcher was definitely quite the cutie, there was no denying that. “What a surprise who would have thought.” He remarked sarcastically as it was rather cliché for an omega to live in that area. Then again Aaron lived in the mansion district that was solely populated by alphas so he shouldn’t have been the one to talk. “Don’t worry about it. If it would have been inconvenient I wouldn’t have offered it.” He let him know. “I’ve never been there so I’ll actually be going to see something new today whilst driving you home.” He told the man who was sitting there, eyes on his lap, again stoically looking away from him not saying a word.

It would get a long and silent drive that would get awkward if the other would just sit there staring down and saying nothing while he was exuding that he was feeling uncomfortable around Harlow like a heater heat. Aaron definitely didn’t smell bad though, he had checked that before. A sigh came from him as he turned towards the other while waiting at a red traffic light. “Would you mind telling me your name and in which department and position you work in my company?” he wanted to know and if the man would not have been his employee he would have lifted his face up and turned it towards himself asking him to look at him while they were talking. But randomly touching an employee probably wasn’t a good idea no matter if he just wanted the man to look at him. “Is there anyone waiting for you at home? Maybe they are worried about you because you do things like walking home for hours during the night.” he then asked because he remembered the man rejecting a call before he had gotten into the car.

Nara remains silent as the other seemed interested in going to his area of the city. He really didn't wish to bring him over there whatsoever. It wasn't the kind of area one would consider taking a field trip to. Though he could tell one reason or another why anyone would be interested in going to see that area. He continued to remain silent until he felt the other staring at him. He felt reluctant to answer him but he decided to do so for it would be a long car ride otherwise.

"My name is Yoshiyuki Nara. I am currently working as a researcher in the testing department. My position is nothing special as I test and review every product your company makes. This way nothing is presented as defective or faulty. I try my very best to review every single one to be sure that our company only delivers the best of the best. I honestly am happy working here for your company. I truly couldn't pick anywhere else to expose my talents. Well that's just in my own little personal opinion. Please ignore it." he said softly. His expression was alot softer now and almost lightened up. He was even smiling but only faintly. However this expression didn't last as long as he was asked about his phone call.

Nara turned to look at the other. "Its more of a watchdog than anything. My friend from high school lives next door to me. He's a beta but could trick anyone easily into thinking he was an alpha. His name is Tsuyoshi Izu. I'm sure he's waiting for me to get home. Being an unmarked man at my age puts me in some pretty dangerous situations at times. Though I've learned ways to protect myself from potential dangers. Anyway enough of that. I've never been one who enjoys talking about myself. I'm a rather boring person in the eyes of many." he says trying to rebuild the wall he had up from the moment he came in distance of Aaron. Nara glanced out the window as he could tell they would soon be approaching his part of town. The buildings gave it away all too easily. From lightly lit streets to a dim yet almost dark area. The air here was thick with a.swirl of pheromones from a number of different omegas.

Nara began to focus on giving proper directions so the other wouldn't end up lost in this area. With a few turns and such they arrived at his duplex styled apartment complex. It was fairly larger than most buildings in the area. There was a total of seven floors. Three lower level, one middle and three upper levels. It was clear the middle floor was completely unoccupied by anyone. Nara turned to look at the man in the driver seat. "I really do thank you for this. I... um... please get home safely and have a good night sir." he quickly said thinking of how to bow his head despite the limited amount of space. Nara was nearing his limit of self composure. He had done so well up until now. Being sure not to overreact or give away anything that would alert the other of his feelings. Nara never expected he would ever be this close to the man he has a crush on. This kind of thing he only assumed happened in the movies or television shows.

    Spoiler:

The reluctance before the other even brought himself to tell him his name and answer didn’t escape him but it was something that Aaron couldn’t wrap his head around. It wasn’t like he had asked something personal. Just the man’s name and what work he did in his company, something that he could have found with only a few clicks on the computer in his office. Actually the department for human resources had even a lot more data about him stored and as the CEO Aaron could easily excess this data.
Then he did tell him his name and Aaron blinked his eyes as he wasn’t quite sure whether he had even gathered the full name nor if in case he had he’d say it right if he tried. “Nice to meet you Yoshi!” he said with a smile as he decided to shorten it to something he could easily recall and pronounce. He would have introduced himself but it was not necessary as the guy definitely knew who he was and what his name was.

When he got told what he was doing in his company it got clear to him why he didn’t know the man. If he was not in the development sector he wouldn’t know him. Aaron had never gone down to the floor where the testing department was working, he had only gotten the results that the testing department always send back to the development departments who presented it and reported to him.
“That’s an important position you’ve got there.” He let the man know and he really meant it although the workers there were not the ones with the highest incomes and ranks. “Maybe I should pay your department a visit sometime. I have never been down on that floor.” Harlow decided.
“I am glad that you enjoy your work and the working environment in the company that much. I wish everyone showed that kind of ambition and enthusiasm about their work.” The CEO complemented the younger man.

What had not slipped his mind was how the brunette man had added something at the end that merely suggested that what he had to say was irrelevant anyway and that Aaron should ignore it. It wasn’t the first time in the short bits of interaction they had had that he had said that. “And what if I don’t want to ignore what you said as I wouldn’t have asked if I wanted to ignore it anyway in the first place?” he asked as little provoking undertone in his voice. “If what you had to say was so uninteresting or irrelevant that one should ignore it, why speak at all then?” he wanted to know whether the other really thought that what he said was that irrelevant that it shall be ignored and really only ever spoke when asked to because he thought he got nothing to say.

Aaron had not expected to learn that much about the other from asking about the person on the phone. He’d actually wanted to know whether the guy had a partner but instead the other opened up a little and spoke about his high-school friend who protected him because it was dangerous to be an unmarked omega male at the other’s age and that Nara had actually worked out strategies to protect himself. This was a lot more information than he had hoped for although the other ended it again by basically saying that he was not worthy to be subject of a conversation because some people apparently found him boring or the guy just thought they did to get the distance back between them. Harlow’s blue eyes darted at the man when he said that last sentence. “Is that so?” he asked looking straight into the brown eyes of the other. “Maybe, Yoshi, the empty eyes of the blind masses just don’t have what it takes to see what is fascinating about you and because they fail to understand you, they think you’re boring. Maybe, it takes a brilliant and special person’s eyes to look at you and see that you aren’t boring.” The male spoke clearly and in a definite, determined manner, only to let a grin take over his face from the serious and stern expression he had had when he had spoken. “Just a thought though!” he added in a joyful tone of voice.

As they entered the district the smell in the air changed and it was a thick smell that was making it into his car through the air-condition being blown right into his face. The sheer amount of omegas living in this district gave off a more intense smell of the pheromones than Aaron had ever smelled anywhere, than he had smelled sitting right next to Yoshiyuki the whole time even. He bit his lower lip and his hands tightened around the steering wheel as the pheromones were getting through his nostrils and it caused a biochemical reaction in his brain that he could not stop. His pupils were changing and his blood was starting to boil as he felt how he was slowly getting aroused begging he would not get too aroused. He couldn’t take it and turned off the air-condition but though it got better smell wise and worse air wise the smell still came through and he was getting somewhat tense in his seat while he was following the researchers directions through the district to his home.

Finally he parked the car in front of a large building and turned to the other again who was wishing him a safe drive back home and was thanking him. “Thank you and you’re welcome. And if you’d have to walk home another time just drop by my office and I drive you home again.” He offered staring directly and intensely into the man’s eyes before his eyes wandered over the man’s body, inhaling his scent, finding him not only cute but incredibly attractive and hot now while on his mind he worried that the way his eyes looked now the other would get scared again and mistrust him again just when he had finally thought he had gotten him to at least open up a little. But it wasn’t like Aaron had much of an influence on it. It was spring, this district smelled like an ocean of pheromones, plus there was a cute guy next to him on the passenger’s seat and there was nothing he could do about those environmental factors.
