Jude popped a cigarette in his mouth and lit it on fire, as he kicked the back of his skateboard. At the moment he was in Bandon, Oregon because of a werewolf. There were a few string of vicious attacks that only happened during a full moon, and suspiciously the attack was close to a bear but the gash wounds just didn't fit the bill. This wasn't Jude's first werewolf, so he could sniff them a million miles away. It didn't take long for him to figure out who the werewolf was either. It ended up being some recluse named James Fowel who hid away from most people, and tried not to have any close ties. James had broken all ties off with his family, which was taking a toll on his mother. The poor guy wasn't bad, but sometimes the supernatural takes things from people including themselves. Usually James hid himself away from the outside world, but because he kept killing people he might have given up, or maybe he knew about Jude's presence and he wanted him to do something about it. Jude wasn't too sure about it, but he would know soon enough.

Jude was staked out outside James' house, and tried to play it off as someone just enjoying a bit of skateboarding. The sun was setting, which made Jude always feel a little uneasy. Hunting was never a great feeling, but it was something that had to be done by someone. Werewolf jobs were always one of Jude's least favorite anyways; eight out of ten times the werewolf felt remorse over their change, and just wanted it to end. A few minuets past, and James hurried out of the house and hopped into his small Subaru. He was in a hurry, and for a good reason. Jude waited a few minuets before he hopped into his rust red pick up truck, and followed him into the woods. He kept a safe distance, and stayed put inside of his car.

Jude held his .9 Mil pistol in his hand, and watched James as he fell to his knees and started the painful transformation into a werewolf. Jude could almost feel his bones cracking, that it made his squirm in his chair just a bit. It didn't seem like James - or what was left of James at the moment - acknowledged the fact that Jude was around, because he ran in the opposite direction... which just so happened to go against Jude's plan. "Shit," Jude cussed before he turned the key and sped after James.

James found himself in the city soon enough, and he made sure to stick to alley ways and underpopulated areas. Just because he was an animal, didn't mean he didn't have wits to him. He found his way into a dark street that was dimly lit, without a soul to be seen... but he could smell someone approaching, and it was to kill for.

Luke rode as he felt the soft rumble between his legs. The sound of the engine going 30 over the speed limit made everything almost bearable. One could say he hated his life, everything in it and its mundane existance. He was going to college and as he rode his roomate grabbed his shirt hard scared for their lives. He just laughed as his hair whipped about his face giving his only helmet to his friend. They had just gotten back from a party and his friend asked for a ride to his girlfriends house. Of course it was downtown and in a sketchy neighborhood no less. Luke never asked how the two of them met and he didn't care, he just pretended he didn't notice the sketch surrounding the chick. He figured he was probably 10 years younger than her and she kept him around to fuck her when her husband wasn't home. But that wasn't his place to put his nose.

After dropping his friend off Luke walked back to the small race bike resting in the alleyway. He figured putting it here would ensure its safety from anyone trying to rob him. He chuckled gently as he pat the helmet and pulled it close to him. He was about to put it on when he heard the soft click of claws against concrete. His eyebrows cinched together and he turned setting the helmet down. "Hello? Dean? Is that you?" he asked calling out his friends name as he took a step closer to the sound. He dind't know what would be in store for him or that this moment would define everything in his life. It would change everything and make his life into a living nightmare. One that he would wish he could slide out of again and again as his body tore itself apart. He stepped a little bit closer his eyes trying to adjust to the dark.

"Quit fucking with me! I know you're there!" he said with a laugh pulling his arms around him. The weather seemed to get colder as if this foreboding sense was ensnaring him all over. He had a sense that something bad was going to happen but he took another step closer leaving his precious bike at the mouth of the alley. It smelled like wet garbage and piss but he didn't care. Infront of him a set of two beady eyes emerged and his body grew cold. Almost like he couldn't move, his body paralyzed by fear of the unknown. "What the..." he could barely get a few words out before the thing growled. This brought fear to his veins and the fight or flight instinct started to realize itself as he realized he needed to either stand his ground or get out of there. He should have turned around, jumped on his bike and rode out of there but instead he couldn't move. He accepted his fate to become this animals dinner.

James, or what had taken over James, pounced on the unsuspecting man knocking him over. He was twice the size of a bear, and his yellow teeth were in view. Slobber dropped off of his jowls like a slimy waterfall, drenching him in his scent. He opened his gargantuan mouth, a low growl escaping his lips and went in for the kill. Suddenly the loud BANG of a shotgun echoed through the alley way, and James flew off of him. "Hey now. You really didn't think you would claim another, did you?" Jude scoffed with smirk on his lips, and a shotgun in his hands. The werewolf got back up with great difficulty, his body shaking in pain. Jude felt bad for what was human in the creature, but tried to push it back in his head as he cocked the shotgun. He went to fire the gun, but it jammed. "Fuck!" Jude cussed, reaching to his belt for him handgun but by that time it was too late and James had scurried away, leaving a trail of blood behind him.

Jude cussed again, pushing his black hair back in aggravation. He took a deep breath, and looked over to the man who would have been James' dinner. "Hey, are you okay?" Jude asked as he took off his black sweater to give the stranger to wipe off the slobber. "I'm Jude by the way. Who are you? Are you hurt at all? If he scratched you, I got some wolfs bane water to make sure you don't turn into one of them." Jude offered with a smile, pointing to the red pick up parked not too far away. He hoped that the man didn't think he wanted to hurt him, but after something like that it was hard not to immediately go to it. Jude remembered all too well how it felt after the entire world turns upside-down.

Before he could do anything he felt pain in the back of his head as he realized he was on the concrete. His head was bleeding and he looked around dazed. When he came back into focus he felt claws in his arms and spit on his cheek. This caused a sickening scream to leave his lips as he tried to struggle away. This only deepened the claws into his skin and he let out a cry of agony. His bones felt like they were breaking as this massive animal stood before him.

The smell, it was musty and earthy like a wet dog. Though there was no way this could be a dog. He was taller than Luke and was even wider than a bear should be. Luke's chest rose and fell quickly as his body threw him into a panic attack.

BANG

That crack shocked him. The blood that splattered his face was not his own and he quickly wiped it away when the giant creature fell from him. He scrambled away till he couldn't and his back hit the hard brick siding of one of the buildings cornering them. His eyes watched the animal as it whimpered in pain and it wasn't till he heard those words that he realized he was saved?

"Hey now. You really didn't think you would claim another, did you?"

Disbelief littered Luke's expression as he watched the other wrestle with the weapon in his hands. He wanted nothing more to get on his bike and ride out of there but his body was paralyzed and bleeding all over the place. His handsome face was marked with smeared blood and drool and he could feel the sick feeling of blood sliding down his coat sleeve under his clothing. Even when the other spoke to him directily he had to blink a few times to even realize he was talking.

When he finally did Luke winced away from him as if he was planning to turn into a giant bear, wolf, creature and attack him too. "I'm...fine..." he said breathlessly and shook his head standing. He used the wall to support his body and he leaned his head against it. "I hit my head but I'm fine." he said with a shake of his head not really hearing the biting part or the wolfsbane part. He lowered a hand to his side and he felt a soft tickle on his fingers.

A droplet of blood slid from his fingertips and sank to the ground. There was a growing puddle as his body was numb from the pain. He didn't realize how badly he had been mauled and wanted to just go home and forget about it all. Sinking into his bed sounded nice right about now. And to think if he had just gone home in the first place he wouldn't have been in this sketchy neighborhood in the first place.

Jude started to panic at the first sight of blood, he rushed towards the man just as he started to sink to the ground. He cussed, and immediately checked his head, feeling the wetness of blood. "Shit, shit, shit." Jude cussed, as he picked up the larger male. He had to get him help as soon as humanly possible, and that was just what he was going to do. There was no way in hell he was going to let him die on his watch.

Jude carefully put him in the passenger car, before he hopped into the driver seat. He sped down the street, the tires screeching with every turn. He turned into the cheap hotel he was staying at, and parked in front of his room. Thankfully everyone who was awake was either locked in their rooms because of paranoia, or doing some shenanigans that only a junkie could get into. Jude reached into the glove compartment and grabbed a small flask of wolfs bane and put it into his pants pocket, before he picked the stranger up from the car, and carried him into his room and laid him on his bed.

The problem with werewolves were their claws. Nothing a doctor or nurse could do would be able to help this man, because they would just reopen and eventually he would either bleed out and die, or the werewolf disease would take host. Thankfully, Jude knew a way to both save his life and cure him. Jude quickly undressed the stranger, before he poured the water into every little scratch and gash. Almost as if it was magic the marks left by James began to vanish as if they were never there in the first place. Jude then went to work on his head. He disinfected it, closed the wound, and even wrapped it up nicely. Jude wrapped the stranger up in a blanket, letting him rest while he could.

Soon enough Luke's vision started to darken as his body grew weak. It slid down the wall till his ass was sitting on the ground. THe repeated words didn't really occur to him as he peered up at the man who had shot his attacker. He was beautiful, what an odd stranger.

The feeling of his skin tearing brought a scream from his lips as he was picked up and carried to a small truck not far off. His body fell hard into the seat and his hand, that could still move, tightened around the door handle hard. He wanted to scream, yell, fight off this man but he couldn't think of anything other than he needed to get his bike. No words came out as they sped away leaving his beautiful bike sitting in the dingy road. Luke realized he probably wouldn't ever see it again.

As the lights of the streets passed by the window his mind started to slip. His eyes wavered slowly opening and closing. He fought of unconsiousness for what seemed like forever but soon enough he let it over take him. The pain growing the further they drove. By the time they were at the hotel Luke was burning up and his body felt like it was on fire. He awoke as the tinged water his his wounds letting out a soft hiss he pulled away as if he couldn't take the pain of whatever was in the vial.

Though it did heal his wounds he didn't like it. The feeling of being helpless. His eyes closed once more and he let sleep overtake him as the stranger kept working on his wounds.

A few hours later Luke woke his sweat clad chest rising and falling quickly as he sat up. His eyes searched the room he was in and quickly fell on the bloody gauze to either side of him. His head was still fuzzy and he blinked a few times trying to clear his mind but with no luck he let out a gentle groan. His fingers lightly touched the back of his neck finding the gauze and following it up. His long delicate fingers brushed the wound causing him to wince, "Ow.." he quickly let his hand fall to his lap. He was naked, in a strange place, with a strange man. Speaking of where was he?

Jude reached into his pocket and grabbed his cigarettes to find he was down to the last one. He groaned quietly, realizing he had to get more. His eyes flashed over to the sleeping figure, and he sighed softly. Maybe he smoked too? He thought he saw a motorcycle near there, maybe it belonged to him? Jude had a pick up truck for the moment, so maybe he could use it as a peace offering? Jude lit his last cigarette, and quietly grabbed his wallet from the strangers pants to see if he indeed had his motorcycle license and to see his name. Luke, huh? Jude thought to himself, his eyes darting over to him before he left the room.

Jude was gone for a few hours at most, trying not to take too long. He didn't want anything to happen to Luke while he was away. His first stop was to get cigarettes and a few snacks, before he went to see if Luke's bike was there. It had dawned on him on the ride there that he probably couldn't put the bike in the trunk without a ramp, so instead he tried to hide it in between a few trash cans so Luke could pick it up later. Then he quickly got a few burgers from Carls Jr, getting a few different ones just in case Luke didn't like any of the others. He rushed back to the hotel after getting burgers, and found Luke to be awake.

A cigarette hung from Jude's lips and he carried food and drinks in with a bit of difficulty. He sat them on the table and took the cigarette from his mouth before smashing it into the ash tray. "Hey, how are you feeling? I got you a... few burgers, and a milkshake, and even a soda if you didn't like the milkshake. I have water in the mini fridge just in case soda and milkshakes aren't your thing." Jude said as he dropped the three burgers on his legs and sat the drinks on the nightstand.

The pain in his body seemed to be less than before but as Luke sat up more in bed his eyes moved down to the already deep scars on his shoulders. It was badass but he hated that they were there, how had his skin healed so quickly? He traced the skin and winced lightly as he still felt ghost pains of the night before. His head was still awash with what all had happened, had he been mauled by a bear?

He had so many questions, so many needed responses that if he didn't get them he thought he would explode. His eyes traveled the room wondering where his clothes were, where his wallet and other belongings, as well as this stranger were. The room was empty and he saw his clothes in a pile on the floor not too far away. He groaned and stood uneasily as his body was still not wanting him to move. His eyes had to close a moment for the room to stop spinning. Sliding over and putting on a pair of pants. It didn't shock him that he was practically naked, the guy had to take care of him.

He ran a hand through his hair his fingers lightly caressing the bandage once again. After feeling a little more comfortable he searched his jacket and sighed, his wallet was gone as well as his phone. He found exhaustion and hunger sweep over him and he walked back to the bed.

He had just sat back down and gotten comfortable when he heard the door slam against the wall and his strange savior walk in with a shit ton of food. The sight was amusing and Luke had to clench his jaw to keep back a laugh. "Ah...this is fine thank you." he tried his hardest to sound greatful but he was still confused and a little scared of what had happened.

His slender fingers encircled a burger and pulled it closer smiling slightly at the Carls Jr. wrapping. He unwrapped it and gladly ate the food that was brought. He let out a gentle sigh and leaned back against the headboard being careful not to his the back of his head. He peered over at the other while he ate. The stinch of cigerrette smoke filled the room and he watched as the young man chain smoked away his life.

After finishing a burger he wiped his mouth and let out a gentle cough, "So...? Am I fine to leave...?" he asked his eyes moving to the covered windows. "How long have I been here? My bike was left back there...its probably ruined now but still I would like to get it out of those alleyways or at least call my friend for him to pick it up." he said motioning to the other. "You have my wallet and my phone. I would appreciate it if you got that back to me." His voice was almost stern and annoyed. He didn't really care about being saved the guy couldn't save him quick enough to stop drool from dripping into his wounds or even his mouth and he couldn't stop the giant creature from attacking him.

Jude sat on the rather uncomfortable chair as he unwrapped his Western Burger. His eyes kept flashing over towards Luke, trying to figure out something to say. He was always pitiful at conversation starters, so he was going to wait for the man to start talking first. Even before he discovered that things defiantly go bump in the night, he was awful at conversation. Back then he would open with an awful pun or some sort of pop culture joke, but now it goes immediately into the supernatural. No one wants to start a conversation with, 'oh by the way, a werewolf marked you last night and you're fucked!' No, Jude had to ease into it.

When Luke started to talk he had a mouthful of burger. "Only a few hours. Probably three or four at most." Jude answered the second he swallowed his food, and wiped his mouth. "I actually hid your bike back there in the alleyway. I would have brought it for you, but I didn't have anything I could use as a ramp. As for your wallet and keys, you can have them." Jude got up and threw his keys at Luke's lap. "All your money is still in there, you can check if you want. There's just... a small implication to you leaving..." Jude said with an awkward smile. He rubbed his neck and leaned forward in the chair, and his eyes shifted to an opposite wall.

"I wish I got to the alleyway before he, you know slobbered all over you. A werewolf always marks its prey before the kill, just in case they get away - like tonight for example!" Jude shifted in the chair a bit, his stomach knotting up. He always hated breaking bad news to people, but it was something that had to be done. "Usually a werewolf transforms every full moon, but when someone is marked and left alive, they transform the night after as well. But we know he's wounded! It will be easy for him to kill, if I stay away from my shotgun." Jude sighed and stood up, "look. I won't let you die... but you need to stay near me until then, okay? I will keep you safe, no matter what."

The mention of his bike caused a gentle sigh of relief to fill his body. “So…you hid my bike? You’ll take me to it right?” he asked gently his eyes turning back to the other. He caught his keys easily enough wincing just a tad at the quick movement he had made.

Dread filled his veins and he sighed, “You’re…you’re saying I can’t leave…?” he asked rather confused as he shook his head. “I don’t understand werewolf? Marking? What? What the hell are you talking about?” he asked his brain reeling with the information that was being thrown at him in one go. Marked by a werewolf? What exactly did that mean? Was he going to die?

Fear welled inside of him and he shook his head rather hard. “How long till he comes back? How long do I have? Why aren’t we searching for him now?! I mean you know what he looks like right? Why couldn’t you have gone and found him before tonight!” he was slightly freaking out which was probably normal for humans who just found out that supernatural beings existed and one was hunting them down at that very moment.

His eyes traveled to the man across from him, “How do you know all this? Are you one of them? Am I going to have to run from you too?” he asked with a movement to get up. “I can’t stay here anymore.” He shook his head and stood pulling on his shirt that was torn from the night before. He let out a sigh as he pulled on his jacket. “You can’t keep me here. And if you do I’ll just call for security, I’m sure the hotel has some so please just let me leave I want to get my bike and go home.” He sternly said as he stood moving to gather his things and leave the awfully gloomy room.

Jude began to panic when Luke went to get up, "w-wait!" He said getting up as well. He didn't want Luke to leave... what if he couldn't protect him? There was no saying what James might do if he saw him on the street. When a werewolf marks someone, they might try to kill the person while they're human so they didn't transform the night after. Jude couldn't risk it. "I'm not one of them I swear. I'm one of the unlucky bastards that have to hunt these things." Jude said quickly, holding out his hands in a 'please stop' motion. "I used to live a normal life. I had a boyfriend, a job, I was going to school. I had dreams and aspirations, and I thought werewolves, vampires, ghosts, and even fucking fairies were just stories."

Jude sighed softly, and pushed back his thick black hair. "Trust me. I know how scary all of this is. I remember the feeling of wanting to run away, locking myself at my home and pretending all of it isn't real." Jude took a step forward, proceeding with caution like a man would with a small animal. "Please, hear me out. You can ask me anything you want... I'll even drive you to your motorcycle. I'll keep you safe, and then when the time comes and the werewolf is gone we can part ways."

Luke felt a surge of fear in his stomach as he watched the man across from him quickly stand as if to stop him from leaving the room. He quickly started explaining things which only made Luke more confused. This guy was gay, hunted monsters of the night, and didn't lead a normal life. Alright that was alot to gather in just a few moments about a person. "You're...saying that you'll take me to my bike and then I can leave right?" he asked his eyes moving to the door as if he wanted to dart for it. He was highly uncomfortable in the room and he could feel his chest starting to gain weight.

His breathing came slower now that he was slightly calmer. "Take me there then...I don't care but take me there. I don't see why I wouldn't be safe...sure he marked me and he can sniff me out or however the fuck that works but I'm going to get out of this apartment. My arms hurt and my head is killing me and I want to lay down in my bed and take a fucking nap because I do have a real life. School, a job, a boyfriend, and you know even a career lining up for me. I will not let an attack keep me from doing what I need to do with my life. I have work tomorrow, I can't just sit around in an apartment with some stranger till the end of it all." He quickly grabbed his things ready to leave. He didn't want to be in that room any longer than he had to be.

Specially with odd talk about unnatural beings and shit that he was throwing at him. Ghosts? Werewolves? Vampires? Fairies even? What else could he possibly throw at him that would make any of this make more sense. He was confused, tired, beaten, and bruised and he couldn't help but think about what he would tell his roomate when he finally saw him.

Jude took a deep breath and nodded his head. "Fine. I won't force you to be anywhere you don't want to be." Jude said, grabbing his leather jacket and and putting it on. He checked his pockets for his cigarettes and a lighter, just so he knew he had it on him. He was going to stake outside of Luke's house anyways, just in case. He didn't want anyone to die on his watch... but hell, who does? He popped a cigarette in his mouth and let it hang loosely as he opened the front door without a word. He hopped into his truck and waited until Luke got in to drive away. He drove in complete silence, the unlit cigarette hanging from his lips. He was nervous and scared, but that was only natural right? No matter how many times he's gone through this very scenario, it always made him scared that he would slip up and everything would be in vain.

"I used to be an EMT... or I was an intern anyways." Jude said breaking the silence. "It was cool... It comes in handy now that I'm doing, well, whatever the fuck this is." Jude shook his head and tucked the cigarette behind his ear. He didn't really have a name for whatever he was doing... maybe hunting? Though that wouldn't be the right word. "Anyways... I've always kind of regretted dropping all of it to do this, but it has its moments when it's pretty satisfying. I'm still saving lives, but differently now I guess." Jude sighed and pulled into the alley-way. "Any ways, your bike is hidden behind all those trash cans." Jude grabbed the cigarette and lit it. "Be safe out there."

Luke nodded a little and watched as his companion and savior of the evening headed to the door. Surprisingly his eyes were mostly trained on his lips that lightly held onto the filter of the cigerette in his mouth more than anything else. He sighed shaking his head telling himself to stop thinking stupid thoughts and get back to his life that he was happily living. Nothing much worse could happen this evening right? Other than being mauled by a werewolf again and turning into one. How did that even work? The thought caused a finger to slide to his scars on his shoulder feeling the deep wounds which were already healed. This was strange of course, his skin healing so quickly as it did. Maybe his new companion had some sort of magic potion? Wouldn't be so outragious seeing as monsters were real.

He let the thoughts slide from his mind as he left the room and followed his new friend to his truck. He got into the passenger side without a word and waited patiently for him to start the car and head on their way back to the scene of the accident the night before. Luke could feel anxiety in the pit of his stomach. He didn't want to go home, he wanted to go to his boyfriends house and spend the night. He didn't say anything about the new plans to his friend and instead sat quietly till they arrived to the alleyway. "I...thank you...for saving me. I promise I'll be safe." he hoped out of the car and turned back to him. "Thank you again. Sorry I flipped shit on you. I'll see you around." he waved a hand and walked to his motorcycle unhiding it.

He looked back to the truck, the guy was weird for sure but he wasn't all bad. Just a normal guy trying to save people. Luke draped a leg over and hopped on his bike turning the key in the ignition feeling the beast rumble to life underneath him. He sighed softly closing his eyes at the feeling before revving the engine and opening his eyes once more. He pulled out of the alley way and drove off down the street heading for home. The motorcycle of course took him faster than he meant to go but with everything on his mind he couldn't help but drive faster than normal.

In no time he was at his apartment hoping off his bike and running up the steps to his flat. He quickly changed clothes, fixed his hair, and gathered up his things before getting back on his bike and heading toward his boyfriends place. He just didn't want to be alone that evening even though he had work the following morning. Luke couldn't deny that he felt scared and alone and he felt like someone was watching him. It wasn't a good feeling to stay at home alone with.

Jude gave Luke a half smile when he thanked him. He shrugged and took in the smoke into his lungs. "It's no problem at all." He said. He watched Luke uncover his bike and stayed long enough for Luke to drive at a safe distance. He was hungry, but there was probably no time to eat. He had to trail Luke, just in case he did anything he would later regret. When Luke got at a safe enough distance, Jude turned the stereo in his car up so the Velvet Underground's Venus in Furs blasted through the speakers, and sped off after him. He drove with one hand on the wheel, the other hanging out the window. His eyes kept trying to track Luke's motorcycle, always trying to keep a few cars away. Was it creepy that he was trailing Luke? A bit. But at least he wasn't going to snoop around his underwear drawer or wear his skin. It was just harmless life saving is all.

Halfway through Jude had lost Luke. Maybe it was because he had a motorcycle, or maybe it was just his own human error. What Jude knew for a fact though, was that he was panicking. If Luke died, it would be on him. Jude turned down his radio, and ran a hand through his black locks. "Fuck!" He cussed, slamming on the wheel of his car. "Fuck! Fuck! Fuck!" He took a deep breath and leaned back, both hands covering his face. How was he going to save him? Maybe Luke would get lucky and save himself? His eyes shot to the sky, his heart beating all the more when he realized that the gorgeous blue sky was turning orange.

Jude drove around town, his heart making a home in his stomach. "Come on... anything... anything at all would help." Jude begged, his eyes shifting from street to street. It seemed like the sky was only getting darker and darker by the second, almost as if it was a clock ticking away at life. His eyes shifted manically, before they landed on the bike he only hid just today parked right outside a house.

Luke smiled a little and shook his head as he quickly left his apartment. He trotted down the steps looking around a bit. He pulled up the hood on his hoodie and bypassed his bike. He walked in the opposite direction and slid through the gates to head to his others place. He sighed a little seeing his breath spiral in the cool air. It was a ten minute walk or so and he knew that if Jude was trailing him he would be searching for the wrong spot. He didn't want to be trailed and he sure as hell didn't want to be followed by some stranger he never met.

He quickly passed the alleyways feeling a sense of last night running through his mind. He hated that and felt his hair on the back of his neck rise at the thought. Would he be attacked again like Jude had said? He was thinking he was full of shit after all. He didn't think he was in any trouble at all from the attack from last night. There was no way that he could be attacked two nights in a row and die from such an attack. He figured that if the dog attacked him again he knew where it had been shot and would just have to kill it himself. The thoughts of himself turing into a werewolf never crossed his mind. He was hazy when listening to that part of Judes story so he didn't heed the warning that he too could end up like the man that attacked him. He tried to push that thought to the back of his mind and as he kept walking he tried to push all those thoughts to the back of his mind. He didn't want to think about Jude, the supernatural world, or the fact that he was possibly marked by this dog and he was going to be attacked tonight. He just wanted to walk in peace to his boyfriends house and live out his normal life like a normal person.

James wasn't a bad guy; he worked as a nurse at a hospice, volunteered at the homeless shelter, and even gave people money on the streets when he could. While he did have many downfalls, the largest was his lycanthropy. He never wanted to turn into a beast, but sometimes life has a way of forcing something on you. At first he tried to be careful and locked himself away, but no matter how hard he tried he would always find himself butt naked and covered in blood. He never remembered the night after, or what kind of blood he was covered in, but after a while he tried to keep himself from thinking about it. There wasn't much he could do to stop his animalistic instincts, so eventually he just stopped trying. Of course he would wake precautions when they were necessary, like today.

James had been trailing Luke since he caught scent of him. Every cell in his body reacted, and it sent shivers down his spine. The part of James that was a beast wanted to eat Luke, because he was his now. However the human side was terrified of transforming into that creature again. He needed to do something about it, and quick. He messed up his hair, and unwrapped his bloody bandage around his arm. He ran up to Luke looking frantic, "please you have to help me!" He begged, holding the sunshop wound so Luke couldn't tell it wasn't fresh. He needed to lure him in and take him somewhere no one could hear him scream. It was almost dark, so he didn't have time. "Please, they're after me. You have to hide me. I'm begging you!"

Luke was about two minutes out from his friends house when he heard shuffling behind him. The feeling of being followed and something bad happening just started to grow on him. His feet quickened and he tried his best to get away but before he could he heard panting and hands on his back. "Ah!" He yelled out and turned quickly ready to hit the guy behind him only to see he was hurt and very much so freaked out.

"Look dude I'm just trying to get home." he held up his hands as if he didn't want to help him. "I don't want any trouble. I don't know who is chasing you but you need a hospital so get there. I can call you an ambulance when I get home." he said and turned to leave the alley way not wanting to stay in there longer than he had to. Being in the city you got alot of creeps wanting money or wanting to do even worse to you if you let them. It wasn't unused to Luke to have to refuse beggars on the streets.

James jaw tightened when Luke began to walk away. He couldn't let him walk away... no, there wasn't much time left. He had to kill him before he became something he didn't want to be. James grabbed Luke by the back of his shirt, and threw him against the wall with a terrifying strength. He turned on his heels then and grabbed Luke by the front of his shirt, "look. I was hoping I could do this a lot more... well, discreetly, but you gave me no choice." James looked frantic and scared. "I'm not a bad person, I promise... I just... I can't turn into that thing. Do you know what it's like knowing that you have to kill something every fucking month, and you have no control over it? Do you know how painful it is? If I could avoid being that thing, then I will do it. I'm so sorry." James said, his hands reaching for Luke's neck, before he gripped it tightly. HIs eyes shot to the sky, the orange hue that used to be so beautiful filling him with dread. "I'm sorry. I'm so sorry."

James tried to avoid eye contact, but when he did his heart dropped to his stomach. He was no better than the beast that made a home inside his very soul. He wanted to let go and run away, but he knew it was the only way... He didn't want to turn into it. Tears began to fall off his cheeks, and his hands shook making his grip a lot less strong.

Luke was ready to leave when he felt the tightened grip on his shirt pulling him to the wall. He groaned an blinked a few times looking over at the man attacking him. "What the fuck is wrong with you? I don't know what you're fucking talking about but you need to let go of me right now." he tried to push away from the other with no luck and sighed waiting for him to give up and he shifted a little against his hand.

He quickly pulled back seeing him looking away from him. He quickly started pushing him away, "You're fucking insane. Go get yourself checked." he started walking away leaving the alleyway quickly. His feet started to quicken and he started to run. His chest was rising and falling quickly as he ran down the alley way running his hardest to lose the man behind him. He could feel him, he could feel the presence behind him and it bothered him. It scared him, he was worried he was going to be ran over and captured and possibly killed by the fucking creep behind him. It was more than creepy and his heart instantly broke feeling that sense in his body. He wished that the stranger that had saved him was there in that moment and instantly regretted the idea of leaving his bike at home.

James could feel rage fill him, and he began to shake. He screamed, stomping his feet angrily against the concrete. Time was running out. He was already feeling shaky and that feeling of complete hunger was settling into his stomach. He had twenty minuets tops. He chased after Luke, his legs moving as fast as they could take him. James was terrified of turning into a werewolf. It was painful and he just knew that this man wouldn't be his last victim tonight. The beast was hungry, and the beast always got what it wanted.

Jude had his feet resting on the dashboard of his truck as he patiently watched the house. It seemed so odd... James was nowhere to be seen, and the house had all the lights off as if no one was home. Jude knocked on the door, receiving no answer. He ran his hands through his hair, that anxious feeling sinking back in his gut. If Luke wasn't here, then where was he? Jude kicked the house and cussed loudly, before he hopped back into his truck and drove down the road, his eyes anxiously searching for Luke. Jude hoped he wasn't too late, that Luke was okay and there was time. Why didn't he listen to him? Jude slammed his hand against the steering wheel, before he clutched onto it tightly. He wasn't going to let him die.

After a few minuets of searching, Jude finally found Luke. He looked as if he was running away, which worried Jude. He slammed on his brakes, his tires screeching. Jude opened his car door, not wanting to waste time on rolling down the window. "Quick. Get in!" He yelled at him, motioning him to come closer.

Luke didn't see Jude in enough time and he felt his shirt get tugged back into the alley way. His face got a hard connection with James' fist as the werewolf was seething with anger. He had been playing nice before but now Luke had to do what he asked or he was fucked. Of course Luke didn't know that he was going to be saved and as he groaned leaning over lightly touching his bloodied lip he realized heh ad to do something to save himself. His eyes roamed up to James, he could feel his body shaking from his own anger. Why was this guy bothering him? Why was he being an ass and not leaving him alone? Why was his own body hurting as if he had been hit by a freight train.

Almost in a moment realization of it all hit him and his eyes grew wide. He peered over at James fear sliding into place in his stomach. "You're....you're that asshole who attacked me last night!" He straightened himself on the wall holding his face slightly. "You prick what the fuck is wrong with you? I could have died!" He yelled over the bustle of the city pushing James roughly. Luke wasn't thinking about what could happen about the fact that he too could turn into this monster. He didn't know all the rules he didn't understand anything. So as he started a fight with James he had no idea that his life was on the line. If he didn't die from an attack he would die from the very monster eating away inside of James, pushing him to do these horrible acts every full moon.

James shook his head, and shook Luke violently. "No. That wasn't me... I mean it was, but it wasn't. There's a demon inside of me, and it whispers terrifying sweet nothings!" James said manically, his eyes wide and crazy. His eyes shot up to the sky, and he shook his head. "No. No! NO!" James screamed, backing away as he held his head with both of his hands. Night had fallen, and a glimmer of moonlight began to dance in the alleyway. "No, It's too late!" James shrieked. He fell to his knees, his head still cradled in his hands. Tears began to stream down his cheeks, as his flesh began to tear open and patches of fur and began to show itself. His screams soon became growls, and what was a pair or normal human hands soon became almost bear-like paws. What stood a 5'9 man, soon stood a 6'8 tall monster.

It's golden eyes looked down at Luke, his lips tearing away at his lips to show his full set of sharp monstrous teeth. A growl escaped his lips, a growl that would make grown men who have looked evil in the eye cry. There was no trace of James left. There was no manically scared male, but instead a hungry creature. His eyes flashed over to Jude, who ran into the alleyway just at that moment. His eyes shot over to the gun, and he let out a monstrous roar before he quickly swatted at Jude throwing him into a wall. His gun flew across the alleyway, and the raven haired male laid on the stone ground knocked out cold.

James turned his attention back towards Luke, his jowls dripping with drool. He wanted to devour Luke, and he wanted to do it now. He swatted at him, giving him deep gashes on his left arm.

Luke should have ran, should have screamed for help. But as the man let go of him and started screaming into the night Luke felt his body let go and collapse to the ground. His face hurt from the punch earlier and his eyes were now drawn to the sight before him. The man wasn't lying, he did have a demon inside of him. Luke watched helplessly and paralyzed with fear as the man before him turned into a beast. it was like Luke could hear his own bones breaking as he watched wincing just slightly from the cracks before him but his eyes not allowing him to turn his gaze from it. Tears welled up in his eyes as he watched this delusional man turn into a hairy beast right before him.

It wasn't until he heard running that his eyes turned and he looked at Jude. Relief fell over his face and he smiled a little at his rescuer. This smile was instantly crushed as he watched the hairy beast turn and swat Jude away as if he was nothing. Luke heard an inhuman scream come from his own lips as the only savior he knew was knocked out cold. His eyes flinched back to the beast who had now turned his attention back to him. His jaws were dripping with drool and Luke could only imagine what the beast was thinking. Slowly he stood his body shaking as he realized he was probably going to die if Jude didn't wake up soon. As the claws sank deep into his left arm he cried out in pain his body propelled to the left and blood splattering on the walls. "Please..." he heard himself whisper out as his hands tried to stop the bleeding. "What do you want?!" he screamed at the beast his feet moving slightly to walk away from him his body too scared to sprint right now. He was going to try and sneak away the best he could, maybe go lay down and take a nap and drink this away.

Jude opened his eyes, the entire alleyway spinning. He felt like he was on some sort of fucked up carousel. He blinked, trying to focus on what was going on as he rubbed the back of his head. He felt like he had a concussion, so he moved his hand to check to see if he had a bump. He cussed softly, blinking slowly. He had to save Luke... His eyes wondered across the alleyway, his head still spinning so it made it hard. He blinked again and tried to focus his eyes. After a few seconds of searching, Jude saw the silver glimmer of hope from his gun. He wobbled over to the gun, trying not to disturb James. He could barely focus, so he had to get James up close and personal. Jude bent down, getting a sharp pain in his head when looked down. He took a deep breath, the gun in hand. "Hey. James." He said, trying to act all tough.

James turned around, a growl escaping his throat. Jude flashed a look at Luke, giving him a little wink before he turned all of his attention towards James. "Come get some." Jude said with a little smirk on his lips. James turned his body towards Jude, and got on all fours. His back arched like a scared cat. He started to ran at Jude. Jude lifted his arm, taking one last long blink to focus his eyes as he took in a deep breath. James was only an inch away from Jude when he pressed the gun to his head and pulled the trigger. James fell to the ground, his body convulsing and his throat making this God awful gagging sound as the monster slowly turned back into a human man. What was James only lasted a few more seconds after that before his skin began to decompose off his skin and he turned into a pile of bones, and those bones then turned into ash.

James rubbed his head, groaning softly as he fell back onto his butt. He turned his head, vomiting into the alleyway. He needed to go to a hospital, but he couldn't just yet. After puking for a solid five minuets, Jude tried to look back at Luke, but he could only focus for a few seconds at most. He closed his eyes again, holding his head. "You alright?" He asked, unable to look Luke in the eyes.
