At first the five of them seemed to be too much for the red-haired brat to handle, and they were able to score several times, but as the match went on Roland began to get increasingly irritated, both of Garnet, and also of the rest of the team. Sure Adrian was okay cause the two of them go way back, and they were actually able to cooperate without having to shout out precise instructions. But the same can't be said with the rest of the three, especially Raven who seemed more content to hide in the corner than actually helping out. But surprisingly Roland wasn't mad about the purple haired boy for it. After all Roland understood that people have weaknesses, and wouldn't get mad at people if they fail at what they're simply not capable of. It's those who squander their talents that drive Roland crazy.

 

Roland quickly put his feelings towards Raven aside since that's not what was important right at the moment. What's important was that Garnet was gradually turning up his gear, becoming faster and more agile by the minute, and it became more and more difficult for them to keep up. As fatigue and frustration began to catch up with them the little teamwork they've got began to crumble as well. So it was as Garner had announced, if they come up against the brat, they'd lose, which Roland was strangely okay with. That being said, the fact that Roland and the rest of them were utterly exhausted while Garnet barely broke a sweat irritated Roland to no end.

 

"Ha....ha.....let's....let's take a break......" Roland said as he was panting heavily for air. He gathered the rest of his team and looked at each of their faces, and as expected all he could see was defeat. He said out of frustration: "You guys are not gonna just let him roll over us are you?!“
