This world was filled with many beautiful things. There are so many colors. Scents. Tastes. So many sensations, feelings... There was life. Peace and love. Times when laughter filled the air and was contagious. This was during the time when all of Alflan was in times of peace and serenity. When the great goddess made the land flourish with lush fields of crops. Fruit was plentiful. The water was so pure and clear that you could see the life that dwell beneath its surface. This was the time that life flourish, bloomed and grew vibrantly. These years were joyous, especially with the newest two members to the Alflan kingdom. The gods sent a baby elf to the kingdom with a prophecy that would ensure long lasting peace and everlasting happiness would come... And then there was Skai.

That baby elfling was destined to grow up, see the world, and to return one day with a mate for the traditional magic ceremony, and so was Skai. This ceremony represented both elfling's change into full adulthood. Even if an elf was of age to be considered an adult, they are not full fledged until the ceremony is completed with a pure mate. Each elf is sent out to find a mate, however some don't return. Some even mate within the tribe. However, it is not prophesied for the baby elf, Kai, to mate within the tribe, no, his destiny is to travel far and wide for his perfect mate. Which, was unfortunate because Skai really loved his 'brother'. Simply put, Skai was meant to travel a different path to look for his soul mate. On one hand, Skai was grateful to not be burdened with Kai's destiny... Yet he was just as nervous to be set off into the world outside of Alflan.

The little elfling grew up and became known as Skai. He was the older elfling by a whole hour. Thus, Skai stayed with Kai in almost every setting, being raised as brothers. The elfling was loved by all his people, adored, taken care of and somewhat educated. Skai grew up well fed just like his younger brother. When he was old enough, he was finally told about the prophecy alongside Kai. It was hard to miss Kai because he was marked with ancient tribal tattoos, forged by the gods themselves. He was taught the traditional style of healing, a style that had almost died out. Kai was one of the very few people whom could do it. He was certainly blessed and gifted. But also, as he grew up, Kai was taught the dangers of the world outside their enchanted kingdom... Skai had the same treatment, however he was far weaker when it came to the magic. While he could perform the tribal healing... He couldn't do it as frequently as Kai, no, Skai was more stronger than his younger brother. This led to him practicing more with weapons whilst he tried to improve his magic skills.

So Skai was also taught how to fight, how to defend and heal himself. Most of all, he was taught how to meditate and told that he was not to give into temptation for all of Alflan rested upon his shoulders. Through meditation, he would be able to resist temptation easier. However, he would not have to worry about his pureness being taken from him. Unless, of course, it was by his pure mate, and through consent. If he was ever attacked, his enchanted cock ring would ensure that he could not be taken by force. For the realm that Alflan was enchanted by couldn't protect him for much longer. Outside of the forest, whence the enchantment no longer existed, Skai would be by himself with no guidance. The elders warned Skai, and he sometimes ignored them, of the dangers outside of Alflan. All of the temptation...

Which is why when it was time for Skai to leave, everyone was saddened, but more sad for Kai leaving... A farewell feast was held in Kai's honor. They both were sent in opposite directions and they both were sent off with two sets of clothes, weapons, and food for the long journey ahead...

It's been four months then... And Skai just wanted to give up. From the moment he reached the outsides of the enchanted forest, the outskirts of Alflan, he was immediately attacked by an Imp. He had won the fight, but the Imp certainly startled the elfling as he did not expect such a creature to come into contact with him so soon. That night he hadn't even gotten a full nights sleep... And even as time passed, it seemed like every day Skai was fighting off some sort of demon, plant, bee-lady and so... so... so much more. It was utterly exhausting. It was as if he was somehow attracting all the monsters around. Everyone apparently wanted a piece of him... Skai frequently cursed himself because maybe if he would have been paying attention to what the elders were saying, he could have avoided this- heck, he probably could have figured out their weaknesses sooner!

This trip made him very wary, always paying attention to his surrounding. Skai was always, constantly looking over his shoulder. He was utterly paranoid and exhausted. It was to the point that Skai's magic couldn't replenish hardly at all. He couldn't heal himself properly. Heck, a moment ago he had to fight off another Imp. Luckily they were weak creatures otherwise Skai might have been dead sooner... There many Imps in the forest. And yet, there were so much more beasts he dreaded to cross paths with. At every chance he got, he avoided all creatures that he could and hid most of the time. Unfortunately that did really work because somehow they kept finding him... Within the last day he had fought around ten different beasts... All of them wanted to equally corrupt him. Skai was almost ready to give up already... Luckily he was protected by his cock ring. At the same time... The ring could only do so much. The ring only protected him from rapists... Not death. And so, Skai was covered in bruises, little cuts, and practically battered...

To think that his journey had just started...

This world was so beautiful... Yet so corrupted, Skai quickly found out once he was outside of Alflan... Thanks to the demons that seemed to be taking over the lands... Al he needed to do was find a mate to bring back to his people and that was proving to be harder than expected. Someone that he would be able to bond with for the rest of his life and complete the ceremony with.

As the poor, beaten-up elfling traveled through the thicket of the woods he noticed that the woods was getting thicker and thicker... Not to mention that it was getting harder to see. Skai at first thought he was hallucinating. He also felt like he couldn't walk straight anymore, just from exhaustion. He couldn't rest though as he was sure he wouldn't be safe... Here he was, walking through a foggy area. With every step Skai took, the fog seemed to thicken tenfold. However he did notice that there was less and less monsters. Just knowing that fact made the elfling let out an exhausted, yet relieved sigh. He felt like he could just topple over from such a long travel... And from fighting those foul beasts... But he pushed forward. He kept going until not even his eyes could see hardly anything- But then his foot caught onto something, effectively tripping him. When he landed on the ground- it hurt a lot more... Because he realized that he wasn't on the ground, he was... Skai felt around for a moment... Stairs? Why were there stairs? Skai couldn't look around to see...

And to be honest, even though the stairs were hard... Since he was laying on them due to the fall... Sleep and exhaustion held his body down. He couldn't get up if he tried. Skai's mind tried to fight it but his body won the war. So he laid there for a moment until he found himself dozing of. The lack of sleep really was taking a toll on him... And while he still didn't felt safe... The fog was thick enough that he was sure it would be okay to sleep for a bit... Maybe just a little bit... That's what Skai thought... Yeah... Maybe for... awhile... And then he practically passed out.

What surprises lay ahead of Skai was unknown. The 'adventure' had only begun... And Skai had very little hope... Yet he was still very innocent.

F
ew were the beautiful days in Mareth. A majority of the times they were of overcast clouds that refused to part, leaving the woods in an almost perpetual state of darkness that made traversing it even more dangerous, the creatures within all the more active with the shadows and fog on their side, but not that day. That day was one of those radiant ones, the clouds suddenly giving way to a burst of bright morning sunshine so luminant it made the dewy greens look encased in diamond.

It made
Eon
feel brand new, as if he'd hibernated all winter inside one of his warm pods and woke up to it blooming as the sun gave his face a gentle lick. Normally, he's never out of his meditative sleep before noon -or even sometimes before twilight, but when he felt the sun bleeding through a gap in the enchanted mist to settle in a warm line across half of his face, he stirred like a drowsy fox.

He'd immediately gone out, clad only in his black boxers, before lifting a hand to part the mist at the top. He stood there for a while, eyes closed, bathing under that refreshing sunlight and sometimes peeking at that unbroken blue sky, trying to remember when was the last time he'd seen it like that. It'd been miserable for so long -stormy autumn refusing to let up for that few bright days before winter- that Eon just stood there until his skin went clammy with perspiration and his blood warmer than he could remember them being.

He'd be lying if he said that he wanted everyday to be like that, because in his eyes there is also beauty in rain, i storms, in snow, in blizzards. But he could admit that everything goes soft when it's sunny. Like liquid joy in people's veins putting them in a good mood, making them walk a little slower, breathe a little deeper, their eyes a little more compassionate. At last, that was how it was from where he came from. He wasn't sure how sunny days went where he was now since he barely interacted with people -or even saw them for that matter.

Still, that's when it's worth it, days like that day, when the world felt calm, the trees surrounding the temple all in bloom -making the air even more fragrant than usual- and the elf he'd found three days ago looking infinitely better -although he had been asleep the entire time.

Eon had no idea why the guy was there, perhaps it more coincidence that he found the temple but the mist allowed him to pass so that means the little thing was pure or had very little corruption. His appearance though was a surprise since Elves rarely left the safety of their city, one of the very few places still untouched by corruption, and although Eon had his reservations when it came to strangers -be they pure or otherwise- his curiosity ultimately won him over. After all, it wasn't everyday that he found someone who could have the knowledge to fight, or even purify, the corruptive properties of the land. So, he took him in, fed him during his brief episodes of consciousness while fighting off a fatigue and stress induced fever, dressed his wounds too -and although Eon prided himself as a powerful magician, he knew didly squat about healing magic. He knew about medicinal plants though, at least those that were present there, so that helped.

That day though, the elf's fever had subsided and looking well rested with every wound healed. He just terribly needed a bath since it was quite evident that the little guy had been through some of the most unsavory -if not to mention,
sticky
- parts of the forest. That or he'd been bathing in the lake.

Answers though were better than speculations and if the soft groans and fluttering of eyelashes were to be taken into account, Eon believed that his guest would be waking up in a few minutes. And as much as he wanted him to take a bath first, Eon knew that food was a lot more urgent, and if the gurgles he's been hearing are any indication, his stomach agreed.

So he headed to the kitchen to prepare a feast.

Dark. For three days his Skai's fever controlled him, making his body burn from the inside out. The fatigue and stress that caused this fever to consume him zapped the last of his strength. Never in his existence had he felt so heavy and weak. In fact, the sickness was stronger than any he had before and it caused him to lose his consciousness. On a normal occasion, Skai would have merely healed himself but with his strength stolen from him, and in his weakened state, he simply could not muster the power he would need to heal himself. And so, the long wait of natural healing started its process the moment he passed out. Tides of heated pain coursed through him whilst he slept. His insides ached with unfamiliar pain. There was nothing he could do to allieviate it either.

While he lay there in his unconscious form, the only sign of his internal struggle was the light pink hue upon his face. Yet, even though his fever ran high, Skai never moved. Hunger had been the only thing that could stir him from his unconscious slumber. In his sleep, his nose could inhale the scent of food, and thus a hunger so strong, forced him to wake long enough to eat something. Right after, the elf would collasp again, surrendering and lulled to sleep once again. Each time he fed, his eyes fluttered open, but the did not see anything as they were blurry and glazed over from exhaustion. He could not see the hand that fed him, nor the being it belonged to. The elf was not even sure what he had eaten over the course of being unconscious.

Dreams were few yet constant, they came vaguely and also vivdly. Skai had nightmares about Alflan, oh how he missed his home- though he would not admit it. The most comforting person in his dreams was his wonderful brother, Kai. No nightmare could prevail if Kai was there. Skai loved his brother, and he found that his nightmares would vanish as quickly as they started once he interviened. If only Kai would have been his perfect mate... Often Skai made groaning noises in his slumber, from nightmares and pain. His eyes would flutter open and close as quickly as they opened.

Before Skai would even register it, days passed him by. And finally, he awoke feeling gross and awefully hungry right about now. He felt like he could not hear anything... Or anyone nearby for that matter. And for a second, Skai had a great fear that he was being held up and possibly captured. Anything could have happened. How long had he been out? Fear struck his heart, he found himself scared to even open his eyes. But how could he know if he did not peak? And so, the elfing lifted his heavily drowsy eyes, eyes fluttering and blinking for almost a solid minute before he could actually focus on anything. Much to his relieve, immediately sunlight had reached his eyes. At least, as far as he could tell, it did not seem as thgouh he was imprisonned. No, infact it would seem he was resting in a rather nice looking... bedroom?

Before letting his mind wonder where exactly he was, he tried to focus his eyes on his own form... Which was not in the best condition. His wounds were healed, he did not feel a fever burning within him any longer, he felt healthy again, but he could not help but to notice that there was a sickening scent in the air... Skai feared that he was the culpret. Surely he must have been out for days consdering his stench. It was enough to make the elf cringe. To think he had not bathed for even a day grossed the elf out. If he recalled correctly he had not gone through the cleanliest parts of the forest. The thought made him gag.

Skai sighed heavily, feeling that he should probably move soon. He did not know how he got here or even who brought him here, but the elf was not sure if he should take the chance. If this place was anything like the forest he excaped, then surely this place would prove to be dangerous as well. Nothing seemed to be askew, however, Skai knew all too well that looks can be decieving. He was taught by the elders not to trust many creatures of this correpted realm. Although, try as he might, Skai found himself immobile. His limbs still felt numb and heavy despite being healed. His voice, he quickly realized could harly sound, as his throat was dry and very parched.

The elf could not leave even if he wanted to. Despite the area he was in, Skai was not too afraid. No one had come out to attack him yet nor threaten him, let alone denounce him into slavery or force him to submit. So Skaiallowed himself to lay there a little longer, in slight nervousness, as he waited. He was not sure why he was choosing to stay, other than the fact that he felt a little limp. He supposed his curiosity was to blame for this behavior, he and Kai were both curious by nature. Sometimes that curiosity did get the both of them in trouble, but that was okay, Skai had plenty of good times. Although this situation was foriegn to him, Skai was sincerely hoping for the best. The only way to deduce such a thing would be to wait patiently. And... As Skai sniffed the air, he hoped that some of the food he was smelling would certainly come his way.

In the mean time, he would at least focus on sitting up straight. He would not want to be rude, plus Skai could not lay there all day.

T
wenty-one

There were twenty-one protective barriers that surrounded the temple grounds, each and every one of which prevented the entry of anyone even mildly corrupted. The spells were specifically placed in intersecting layers made more powerful the closer to the temple they were but even so, the outermost layer would prove to be just as formidable.

It was only meant to be a blockade though, like an invisible wall and for the last three days, that wall had been taking a constant pounding.

It seemed that the elf's pursuers were rather relentless, quickly increasing in numbers from the dozen they began with to a small army -that consisted of goblins to a few demon lords.

They were all arrogant -but then again, these creatures always were- believing that their little victim was all alone within the heart of this protective enchantment; his purity and untainted blood they could almost smell.

If they knew that the elf was under Eon's protection, they would probably exercise more caution -or maybe even give up their pursuit. But they did not know and now Eon had to endure listening to the clamor of their incessant attacks against his first barrier.

He's done cooking though, so that's one thing out of the way. He just hoped that his guest wouldn't be so terribly terrified when his invisible wall shattered to pieces.

But it couldn't hurt to give him a warning.

"
I
t's not the temple bells, if you're wondering about the noise." Were his first spoken words as he'd opened the doors to the temple's guest chambers. "
S
ome demons just couldn't resist your elfin charms."

He headed towards the floor-to-ceiling windows, parting the heavy burgundy curtains and letting in a burst of bright, bright morning sunshine that arched through the well-waxed floor, spreading all over the once dimly lit room.

"
I
burned all your clothes, by the way, since they were beyond saving. Don't worry though, there are some enchanted robes here that you can use instead." nine tails swiveled, rustling like the passing of a strong breeze, as Eon turned to give the elf a proper glance.

"
M
y name is Eon and I live here -at least, from time to time." Sharp crimson eyes regarded the other with piercing scrutiny, landing from the visible tattoos to the bandages that covered the wounds that had been.

"
S
o who exactly are you?"

The struggle was real to sit up. Oh, what a relief it was to sit up and have a view of everything around him for once. His curiosity already peaking and pulling him to look around in every direction out of curiosity. Exactly how many days had he been out? Skai should have known not to push himself so much. This is what he got for giving his protection to his little brother... Oh well, it was worth it. Under his breath he started a small chant, his body began to glow a vibrant green, then white. Poof- The spell was done and Skai felt incredible. His health was at max level.

It was right when his spell was over that a mysterious male entered the room. Woah... Was all his mind could think. This guy had tails! Fox tails! If his curiosity was not intrigued, it certainly was now! Skai openly stared in awe and fascination with such a creature. He was so enamored, that he hardly noticed the ruckus... Knowing that he was the cause of all the demon's outside made him feel really bad... He considered himself incredibly lucky to have been saved by the foxy male in front of him. And thanks to the other male pointing it out, Skai just realized that he was naked under this blanket.

However his eyes managed to sneak a peek at the other male's tails as they moved. The elfling tilted his head in amusement, his hands almost aching with curiosity to touch one of the tails... But then the male turned around and Skai quickly collected himself. So his name was Eon..? From where he was sitting, Skai bowed, "I am in your debt. I cannot thank you enough for saving my life and sparring me. My name is Skai. I have traveled from Alflan." He lifted his head, making perfect eye contact with the man.

What a peculiar situation he found himself in. A sudden gurgling sound is heard, coming from Skai's belly. He looks down for a moment, at his stomach with a light blush on his face. "I uh... I do not wish to burden you but you perchance have any food you could spare me?" He asked politely, his nostrils already picking up the scent of food located in another room... And picking up his own foul smell. He cringed. "Pardon my foulness... A-and maybe a bath too, please?"

Skai felt incredibly filthy, now that he fully realized how bad he smelled... Well that is what he got for travelling in the dark part of the woods... Just thinking about it makes the elf uncomfortable. The elf slowly pulls off the blanket, rising to his feet in all his naked glory, aside a lone cock ring. Whatever sunlight remaining in the room seems to be attracted to him, making him shine and glisten. A beautiful sight to behold had he not been so dirty and foul. His tattoos seemed to perfect him, adding the perfect texture and curvy accents and also sensitive to the touch.

The elfling did not think too much about being naked in front of someone else as that was how he was raised. Often, the people of Alflan bathed together. Seemingly everyone was literally comfortable in their own skin. The white haired elf saw no issues with being naked in front of anyone, as long as they were not trying to rape him, also known as the demons outside the barriers. Even so, his cock ring would protect him until consent was reached and the spell was broken. "Might I also invest in the robes of which you spoke of earlier? I would be very grateful."
