Cheery, goofy and sometimes - if not often - childish. Kaito is honest, lively and always full of life. Stubborn and persistent, he can be very annoying depending on a person's perceptive but there's no denying that he's quite a charmer. He doesn't look and acts like a leader - it is kinda funny how the others react once they knew he's the leader of the group - but it shows that he's reliable, dependable and very caring. There are times where he's serious and that's where one can see that he is definitely a leader. He is kinda reckless when one is in danger, he's not hesitant to help people. He has an eye for anything unique, even people just by looking at them.

Background
::
Once upon a time, there was one family: A Father, A Mother, and A Young Son. They were happy, normal happy family. Not until they got into a huge debt and Father suddenly disappeared one day. Mother went into a huge depression and started to neglect the Young Son. The Young Son didn't mind and tried to be mature, slowly learned to cook and clean and took gentle care of Mother at the age of 10. Their debt still hadn't been paid so the Young Son tried to do jobs to earn money like taking care of the neighbors' pets, watering gardens, cleaning and other simple stuff because he was still a kid, he couldn't get a steady job. It wasn't until he was 12 that an Old Lady and Old Man came. Who were they? The Old Lady was grumpy, seeing their current state. By now, the Young Son and Mother lived in a small house, looking almost empty and old. The Old Man gently asked the Young Son's life. The Young Son told him all of it. Starting with the debt, Father's disappearance, Mother's depression, the jobs he did, everything. The Old Lady was furious, muttering something about "No good Step-Son." It wasn't until longer that he learned that the Old Lady and Old Man was his grandparents; Mother's parents. The Young Son learned that Mother wasn't supposed to marry Father but instead, another man. But Mother and Father fell in love and both decided to run away instead because they knew Old Lady wouldn't accept. That's what they thought. The Old Lady and Old Man took the Young Son and Mother away and back into Mother's previous home. But Mother refused to, who didn't want to leave the house that Mother and Father along with Young Son lived in, creating precious memories. Mother still hasn't accepted that Father disappeared. One day, Mother went back to their now old home. Hours later, they suddenly received a startling news.

Mother committed suicide. In the place the Once Normal Happy Family used to live.

::
Always carrying his headphones (in the pic) around, except having baths. Very attached to his headphones. Not very bright in academics. He's always eating donuts once a day. He'll lie if it's very necessary, he'll just sulk about it because he doesn't like to lie.

Name: (Last Name) Nakamaru; (Middle/Nickname) Senji; (First Name) Toshi

Codename: Ace or Black Jack

Age: 19

Hair Color: Sandy Blonde

Eye Color: Grayish Blue

Position: Seke

Likes: Messing around with unexplained things, tarot cards, playing cards, doing card tricks and horror movies- basically working with his hands.

Dislikes: Spider's, when his tarot cards get bent, cheating/ double crosser's.

Hobbies: Playing card games, listening to music, hanging around dark and haunted places, working on making gadgets.

Personality: Sly, cunning, a trickster- Toshi is what you call a "silver tongue" meaning he is very persuasive. But he does however not hold the qualities of a leader, he's more of a follower and despite his looks he could be very shy and sensitive. He wears a face that screams untrustworthy and manipulative but in reality he is quite the trustworthy sort. At times he can be cruel and emotionless but that's only if you mess with him or his friends a little to much. Also he is actually quite smart and can be a bit sarcastic at times.

Background: Meet the Nakamaru family, a loving mother, a loving father, and three loving children. The mother had a sixth sense which means she was a medium, a person who can communicate with ghost and other things beyond the grave. The father was a detective and a very well known and good one at that- he has seen things that would normally traumatize normal person. The three children were close together, each one of them had the other's back. However, on the night of the children's grandfather's death- the anniversary of his passing; the mother held a seance. At first nothing happened, but then one of the children started to scream in pain and after the family tried to calm him down he got up from the table and walked over towards where the kitchen knifes were at and threw the knife at one of his brother's. Killing him. The family mourned over their lost. As year's went on by the family drifted apart, only to be reunited when the death of the other son had occurred.

Extra: He can communicate with ghost and see how they have died or can see things that normal people can't- he got that ability from his mother. Can read tarot cards with ease and is very intelligent/ gets good marks in all his classes.

Name: Taki Takehiro

Codename: Eden

Age: 18

Hair Color: Blond

Eye Color: amethyst

Position: Seke

Likes: Talking to the dead and studying mythology

Dislikes: pushy people / scary things / spiders

Hobbies: Reading / drawing / surfing the internet for more information

Personality: Sweet, a little goofy, has fun hanging out with friends even if he can be a bit awkward since he's rather nerdy. Being a bit on the calmer side most of the time he's fairly subdued and views himself as a boring person but he's not. He's very passionate about the things he's into and very intelligent.

Background: Taki lived with his parents for many years since he was still in high school. His parents were nothing special to really talk about. His mother was a technician and his father was a lawyer. Once he graduated he started at a college a couple years early. Now he's eighteen and going to a big college in town. He plans on being a great scientist. He enjoys space and quantum physics.

After his first year in college he went on a trip with his parents and got into a horrible car accident. Both his parents were lost and he suffered a concussion. When he awoke three month later he found his world turned upside-down. Now living on his own and going through physical therapy he noticed he started seeing things out of the corner of his eye more. He noticed things as a child but dismissed it like most people do. Because of his strong mind he saw things but chose to ignore it since that's what society teaches us.

One night he finally saw his first ghost when he visited his parents grave. His mother stricken with grief from loosing her life so soon and not being able to see her son now haunts him. Not knowing what to do he tried his best to help her after contacting a couple people, who didn't believe him, he now wonders what he could do for her.

Extra: Horribly afraid of dead things, but ghosts don't seem to bother him as much. He tried to rationalize anything supernatural. Also really enjoys well made movies.

Kiyoye

Appearance:130333_zps35a7380c.jpg

Name: Minogai, Kouichi

Codename: Miko

Age:17

Hair Color: Chocolate brown

Eye Color: Chocolate brown

Position: Uke

Likes: Horror stories/movies, dark nights, abandoned creepy buildings, sweet things, scary monsters, playing horror games

Dislikes: Bunnies

Hobbies: He costume designing old historic outfits, acts in mostly dramas and horror plays, sleeps in dark dreary places presumed to be haunted, and likes humming tunes from slasher movies.

Personality: He's rather nice, calm and friendly to all. He is a bit distance in that sense that he doesn't let anyone in too close but he also doesn't reject those that come either. Despite his bright cheery persona he has a rather darker side when it comes to all things supernatural and horror. He gets rather uncharacteristically giddy and overly enthusiastic when it comes to hunting down the paranormal becoming rather impatient and childish when he believes he can find what goes bump in the night.

Background: Kouichi lost his parents long before he could remember them yet that meant nothing for he had the loving care of his grandmother and grandfather whom raised him as their own. He wanted for nothing and was a rather good child growing up not wanting to burden the two older adults. He took to quiet things like helping his grandmother restore old kimonos for plays or exploring the ever old house. He'd spend hours in the dark reaches of the prominent sized estate reading journals and diaries that his grandparents had lying about. Worried the child was spending too much time in the dark his grandfather tied to beguile him with horrifying tales of creatures that ate little children and went bump in the night. The stories horrified the grandmother, she scolded him for filling an impressionable child's head with such tale. However, instead of the intended affect of pushing the boy to go out into the sun, it led to Kouichi seeking said monsters hoping to get a clear glimpse of them and ask them to play.

Extra: He has an unnatural fear of rabbits. Where most see ghosts, horror monsters and other such beings as frightening Kouichi sees rabbits placid unnatural quietness as something truly frightening.

Silver Radiance

Appearance:Racer_Haru.jpg

Name: Kagami Kage

Codename: Tarot

Age: 18

Hair Color: Royal Blue

Eye Color: Bright Gold

Position: Seme

Likes: Dangerous situations, dangerous creatures.

Dislikes: Boredom, liars, weakness.

Hobbies: Taking note of every unusual occurrence that has happened during his life.

Personality: Though Kagami has a gaze that would petrify, even at such a young age, he seems to show great kindness to anyone or anything misunderstood or seen as an outcast. He is very hard to read, silent most of the time and intense in every sense of the word.

Background: Kagami had always been an unwanted child, just like his parents who were considered to be insane by neighbours and even their own extended family, shunned to live by themselves with their child with whispers of blasphemy and witchcraft looming.

At age 2 he was found to be the only one alive in the family house where his parent's blood tainted the walls with strange symbols from some kind of ritual, bodies cradling around him with strange grins upon their faces, completely devoid of blood with clear indications of consensual suicide.

Kagami seemed unaware that anything was wrong, playing with a stack of tarot cards smudged with blood when the police broke down the door, holding a tarot card up to the officer that found him. 10 of swords.

Since then he's been shifted around in different homes, never staying too long because of 'unusual' occurrences seeming to follow his presence.

Now he lives alone, funded by his part time job at an animal shelter, taking care of abused animals during nights. Though they bark and scratch anyone else who comes in, Kagami rendered them silent every time he entered and there was never an attack against him, even from the most vicious animal.

Extra: Always carries the deck of Tarot cards from the time his parents died. Also carries around a ledger to note down unusual occurrences.

Name: Last - Akima First - Tamotsu Nikcnames - Tamo, Motsu.

Codename: Kaname

Eye Color: Aqua.

Position: Seke though his Seme side is more natural.

Likes: Cotton Candy, Pokemon, Vampires.

Dislikes: Ghosts, the dark, thunder.

Hobbies: Reading, studying about vampires and helping people.

Personality: Tamo is overly nice and caring, he is also extremely protective and helpful. He will go out of his way to help or protect another even if he is terrified himself. He is usually fairly calm and has a good control over his emotions, though he is generally terrified about every little bump in the night he ignores it if helping somebody.

Background: When Tamotsu was just 5 years old he was attacked by a pack of wild wolves whilst playing in the snow at night because he didn't see the wolves coming he believed it to be a werewolf due to watching too much tv and thus began his love hate relationship with the supernatural. From that fatal night fear embedded in the boys mind so deep that even specialist couldn't help him face it, a child scared of the dark was a normal thing but as he grew older and older it became less acceptable for him to be scared of the dark. People tried to make fun of him for it but when they heard him talking about what was in the night they soon ran off and left the "crazy" person alone with his thoughts. Growing up his only friend was the kid that lived down the street from him and the two bonded over the belief that vampires existed.

Extra: Tamo is scared of everything but the thing he is scared of more than anything is the dark, it scares him to the point that inside he is screaming so loud he can't hear himself think but on the outside he keeps composure and pushes through.

CASE 0: The Beginning

Tick tock... tick tock... Briiiiiiiiiiiii—

"Kaito! Wake up! It's time for breakfast!"

—iiiiiiing. Briiiiiiiiiiiiiiii—Slam!

A hand sluggishly slammed the alarm clock's button, stopping to irritating ringing. "I'm up, I'm up." A muffled voice, hidden under a thick but soft blanket, sleepily mumbled though didn't get up. Only after exactly 10 seconds did the lump on the bed shot up, half of the comfy blanket dropped on the previously-sleepy-but-now-wide-awake figure, revealing a messy cobalt-colored bed hair and saucer-eyed light blue eyes young man.

"I'm late!"

Due to his haste of getting out of the bed, his legs tangled with the blanket that made him slip and topple down to the hard floor. "OOMPH!" The young man named Kaito - who's name was shouted earlier - let out a pained yet dramatic grunt but that didn't deterred him as he quickly untangled the blanket and quickly ran to his private bathroom.

Minutes later after a showering, brushing his teeth, get dressed and quickly fixing his bed hair that looked as if someone roughly messed it up into a still messy yet spiky-looking hair, grabbing his gakusei kaban (he would've thrown it away if it weren't for the hoop rings you can put a strap on both sides) and wore it shoulder-length sideways, making the body bag bump into his hip as he hurried to put his precious headphones, slipping his black and light-blue walkman mp3 player into his pocket. He checked everything to make sure he wasn't missing anything and gave a mirror a quick look to see if he was at least a little presentable and gave a satisfied nod to himself before quickly running out his room and down the stairs to eat his breakfast.

His grandma heard his noisy footsteps for her wrinkly face grew stern the minute Kaito entered her sight, "Keep the noise down, child! And don't run down the stairs, you'll fall if you trip!" She scolded, waving her spatula then sighed as the cobalt-haired boy laughed sheepishly, squeaking out a "Sorry, Grandma!" who doesn't sound sorry at all. His grandpa, already sat before the diner table, who was reading the newspaper of the day with a hot cup of coffee judging by the faint steam coming out of the cup, only chuckled gently.

A normal daily occurrence inside the household.

His breakfast was already there in the table, courtesy of his grandma. He would have been the one making breakfast if it weren't for his grandparents being early-risers. How can he cook breakfast when they're already awake before the sun goes up? Even if he insists on doing the cooking, his grandma would only gave him stern yet gentle eyes, saying that she will be the one doing the cooking and he'll just shot back that she and grandpa were getting older and that 'you need to rest!' but she would, saying that she was definitely not growing old but Kaito rebutted that 'you're already old and will get older, grandma!' only to get smacked by her with playfulness along with stubbornness without spite while his grandpa watch over them with a amused but fond smile.

Such is life.

Kaito was brought out of his musings with his grandma saying that he should start eating breakfast, consists of sunny side-up eggs, a orange juice, toast, bacon and his favorite; donuts. The sudden realization that today was the first day of being a 2nd year in high school, he quickly took a bit of his toast and drink his juice in one go, snatching his bitten toast and taking a one piece of doughnut then scurried away.

"Kaito! Kaito! Get back here! Fini—" His grandma yelled at his back until he went out of sight before the sound of door slammed close signals that he was gone.

She sighed.

"Dear, do you think he knows that he still has twenty-five minutes until school starts?"

Her husband chuckled.

"I don't think so."

—✧—

He ran all his might to get to school as soon as he can. He still needs to talk to a teacher about his plans!

Hi there! My name is Yasushi Kaito, but call me Kai for short!

In his hurry, he bumped shoulders with a sandy blond-haired person. He shouted an apologetic, muffled by the toast in his mouth "sorry!" while still running.

I'm 18 years old and live in my grandparents' house.

He took the toast in his mouth with his free hand, while still running, in the process of his elbow hitting a blond person's head. Again, shouting an apology, "Sorry sorry!"

My pops disappeared when I was young.

He finished eating his toast with a comment of "Grandma's toast is the best!" and didn't notice a chocolate brown-haired person in front of him and bumped into that person. "Ack! Sorry!" He shouted as he swiveled around the person and continued to ran.

My mom killed herself in a suicide back at our old dingy home.

He passed by a doughnut sign, he excitedly turned around, instead of running towards there; he ran backwards! "Hey~ A new doughnut store! Awesome!" and once again, didn't notice a royal blue-haired person because his back was facing the person until he bumped into that person with his back. "Eep! I'm sorry!" He turned around, shouting another apology.

Enough with that! Again, I'm Kaito! I'm going to start a club about the unknown!

He didn't noticed a crack in the road until he tripped but manages to gain his footing but his the grip he had on his doughnut loosened. He stared, horrified, speeding up to catch his doughnut. He did but in the process, bumping his head on a green-haired person's back but he brushed it off and continued to run. He cursed, shouting yet another apology, "I'm sorry about that!"

I really love anything supernatural! I'm excited to start and hope I can get awesome members!

"Why do I keep bumping into people?" Kai muttered under his breath, feeling a tad bit guilty as he chomped on his doughnut.

What I didn't know is that the people I bumped into...

"Ah~ So delicious!"

...were the ones whose going to make my world...

"Get ready, world! It's the start of something EPIC!"

...brighter...

(So, loooong. XD Sorry~ I got into this. 8DDDD And yes, the people Kaito bumped into are the main characters~ TIS DESTINY. *A* Teehee~)

A cold feeling blasted right in front of the sandy-blonde's face, his slightly tan face scrunched up as a low groan escaped from his soft thin lips.

Pulling the covers over his head grumbling something about resting for ten more minutes, however that was short lived due to the fact that he felt a strong pressure on his chest. His grayish-blue eyes narrowed slightly as they snapped opened.

"Yuna-chan... Get off of me..."

A soft childish giggle left from the pressure above. He knew who or what it was above and it annoyed him each and every morning.

"Nope! Wakie Wakie! You have school today! It's your first day as a second year in college right? Well if you don't get up soon then you'll get in trouble!"

The childish voice had said while pulling the covers away from the sandy-blonde's face, sitting on top of his chest was a slightly transparent little ten year old girl. Her brunette hair was in pig tail's while her bright green eyes were shinning with childish wonder.

The nineteen year old had always wondered how the little girl died and why she was always so happy... Yeah... That's the strange thing about him. He could see ghost, interact with them and figure out how they died. Sometimes even help them move on to a better place.

It was a sixth's sense that he got from his mother. He may have liked it at times but other times... It could get out of hand. He could remember two years ago a boy was attacked by a shadow creature that the boy couldn't see, but he could.

That memory still haunted him... On top of that when his friends found out about his special ability they called him a freak and picked at him. But enough about that.

"Toshi-san... Toshi-san... Is anybody home?"

He felt a cold finger tapping his heated skin which caused him to sigh and smile lightly at the ghost girl.

"Yes Yuna-chan I'm up..."

She giggled and hopped off of him, causing him to inhale sharply, jeez that girl was heavy. After he got up he showered he brushed his hair and let it dry naturally, his movement's were sluggish due to him not being a morning person.

Toshi got dressed and placed on his circle rimmed sun glasses along with placing his rings on. One of them was placed on his middle finger while the other was placed on his pinky.

His black painted nails look freshly done since he did them last night. The pig tail haired girl was by his front door, in her arms was his bag and an apple. In his bag he had his tarot cards and regular card deck.

People around school knew him as Ace or Black Jack since he does show off his card skills to them.

"Here is your bag and an apple for the road~"

Yuna giggled while handing him the things she had just said. Toshi couldn't help but smile sweetly at the little ghost girl before grabbing the apple from her and his bag, which looked like a black leather gakusei kaban.

"See ya later Yuna-chan..."

He waved her a goodbye and walked out of the very large pent house (all thanks to his parents buying and paying for it). The elevator doors opened up and he stepped inside watching the girls face drop into a sad frown. He was still wondering how that girl died and how he could make her move on.

----`----

On his way to school Toshi tossed the apple core away in a nearby garbage can, one hand was placed in his black slacks while the other was slung over his shoulder with his black leather bag. Along the way he felt somebody bump into shoulder and shout out an apology.

The force of the kid running he almost knocked the sandy-blond over.

"Oi! Watch where your going!"

Damn that hurt! Just his luck, first it was Yuna bugging him to get up and now this kid almost ran him down. Perfect. He sighed and looked up at the sky. Wondering if something was going to happen.

BEEP BEEP BEEP

A hand slammed down shutting off the alarm. Groaning softly the blond shifted on his bed, really not wanting to wake up. Every night was a late night for him these days. Sleeping was becoming more of a chore than a pleasant thing at the end of an evening.

Turning over in the bed he sat up and rested his feet on the floor as he rubbed his tired eyes. She was there... she was always there just out of the corner of his eye mostly. She was ashamed to be seen by him but also wanted to be near him and it drove him crazy. Knowing your parents are dead is one thing, being haunted by a grief struck parent was another. His mother was so upset about her death she followed him constantly feeling she needed to watch after her son to the point where she followed him everywhere.

Grabbing his phone he check it seeing he got up on time as usual. Getting up he slipped his phone into the pocket of his night pants then made his way into the bathroom to shower. After his shower he got out brushing his wet blond hair then got dressed for the day. He wore normal clothes, a long sleeve shirt under another short sleeve.

Shifting the necklace he always wore around his neck he looked at it in the mirror and then saw his mothers hand come around him and rest on the locket before disappearing again behind him, "please don't..."

It hurt... it hurt so much to see her like this. Unable to move on.

Swallowing hard he walked into the kitchen to grab a breakfast for himself which consisted of a banana and juice this morning. He made his way to the door and grabbed his bag, "please don't follow me today."

Opening the door he turned back to look into the house. It was his parents before his. Nice two three bedroom, two bath, a typical single family home. Since he was legally an adult he was allowed to own it and learned all about taking care of himself very quickly, "see ya later mom."

Making his way to school he could feel her following him, and while it was unsettling he'd grown used to the odd feeling of constantly being watched. Thankfully she usually didn't follow him into the bathroom otherwise he would have another problem all together.

He was jumped out of his thoughts as a kid slammed into him. He sighed and adjusted his bag to continue on to class. Looking down at his game boy he clicked through a new game patch he installed on it.

Kouichi! Kouichi! The soft distant cries of an elderly woman called out in the faint morning light but the sleeping child was lost in his own dreams. Wrapped snuggly in a nest of blankets and pillows tucked away in the corner of the old rundown warehouse in the backyard, Kouichi Minogai slept peacefully without a care in the world. Dreams of spectral menaces, gory fiends, and piercing screams floated through the young male’s head drawing a pleasant smile to his plump pink lips. “Where is that boy and what could he be doing?” The woman that had been calling for the boy stood out on engawa looking out into the garden in hopes to see the boy on his way though she had a feeling he was fast asleep so there was no telling when he would come in. “I blame this on you Kinjiro, it’s all your fault for filling his mind with those horror stories as a child that has him not sleeping in his own bed.” She turned to face her husband who was sitting at the table eating his breakfast and drinking his coffee.

The woman’s pepper colored hair was tied back in a neat bun at the back of her head. She was short, not as short as her poor grandson though it seemed the boy was a bit stunted in growth, but old age had weighed her down. She was thin, not overly frail but a bit sturdy. She could still easily whip the spry little Kouichi into shape if needed however the boy never seemed to act out. Other than his unnatural obsession with the supernatural, horror and spooky, Kouichi was a perfect little boy. “Oh Airi, it’s alright he’s a boy. Not a little girl. It’s quite fine for boys to like creepy crawly things. Isn’t that right son?” Airi let out a sharp squeak as a pale ruffled bundle silently slid past her with barely the whispering of socks across the hardwood floors.

Kouichi had crawled out of bed minutes after his grandmother had called for him. What had exactly woken him he wasn’t sure. It certainly hadn’t been his grandmother’s voice for the warehouse he was sleeping in was a good number of yards away from the main house. Her voice would have been a faint whisper in the dusty halls of the dilapidating ruin he took joy in sleeping in. One thing he was sure of was the extra chill in the room, an icy wind flickering the candle stub that had been burning all night on the altar. “Morning mother, father. I hope you slept well.” He mumbled groggily as he popped his tousled nest of a hair out the top of the comforters. He eyes barely open he reached out around his nest, patting around the dust and debris till he found what he was looking for, his kimono he’d taken off before bed last night. He carefully slipped out the covers and into the brown and golden robe. It was rather elaborate for a bedtime yukata, but it was the first kimono he made and he was rather fond of it. The sun sprinkled through the cracks of the dirty windows as it just began to peak over the horizon. “Morning sun, thank you for welcoming my second year.” He had turned his head up to the pale rays and smiled faintly before heading outside and towards the main house where he spooked his grandmother.

“Morning gran,” Kouichi plopped down onto the ground, the sleeves of his kimono fluttering as he began eating. The talked here and there and the boy responded in kind as they asked him about school, clubs he might join, and if he would attempt to join any of the school’s social circles. By the time the sun was finally up Kouichi was well on his way to school, his deposition only slightly brighter than it had been upon waking. He’d dressed, and walked to school, nothing in hand for anything he needed was already at school in the drama department. He was in the go home club, but that didn’t mean he didn’t utilize the other clubs tools. He walked almost in his own little world carefully avoiding all, or at least he swore he was until a stranger knocked into him. He tumbled forward, spacing his legs before he completely tumbled over. He blinked looking at the tousled cobalt blue color locks bouncing away. “Someone is eager…” He hummed softly as he continued to walk afterwards. Hopefully he would see something extra spooky if he was lucky.

Abnormal...

Unfortunately for some people, the abnormal was quite normal.

The alarm sounded at the same time it did every morning, but the male it was designed to wake up, was already sitting on the window ledge, gazing outside the glass for a long while. The frost that had gathered around the edges looked like a hazy border of sheer coldness against the backdrop of the quiet street. The individual portrayed inside was one with eyes that burned out from the make shift canvas, yet remained still like a statue, beautiful to gaze upon with that haunting masculinity coupled with a strange softness. Strands of that royal blue silk framed the masculine features, daring to hint at femininity that was decimated the moment those eyes were brought into the picture, so dominant they would scare the very shadows to link back into the dark.

Golden orbs narrowed at the bothersome sound of that alarm continuing to make unpleasant noises. There was no movement for a moment before the male's head turned slowly, casting that icy gaze to the alarm clock with a sense of blankness. The way it vibrated urged the deck of tarot cards sitting vertically against the stand of the lamp to shift slightly, just barely tilting before pressing back down against the metal neck. After a moment, that gentle shifting suddenly caused a drastic tilt, forcing the closed deck to slam down on the off button, silencing the alarm.

The box of cards tilted for a moment back and forth as if trying to make a decision on what they wanted to do while golden eyes watched, eventually deciding to press forward, tumbling down onto the bed at an angle that jolted the lid open, a single card sliding out onto the pillow.

Finally, that face that seemed to hold no emotion conveyed a sense of amusement. Lips curved into a smile, eyes cast down as his head shook slightly, the beautiful royal blue strands shifting along with each movement until that motionless body started to move like a statue suddenly come to life.

Stepping over to the pillow, a strong hand reached down, caressing the edge of the card before lifting it up before those pure golden eyes like sunlight revealing the truth behind a dark, shady world hidden by the dark.

"This should be interesting.. Ace of Wands."

"Where everything starts."

. . . . .

Briiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii—

Slam!

Someone groaned under the thick yet soft blanket, hand that slammed on the alarm clock's button to stop the loud ring went back inside the blanket, strands of cobalt-colored hair poking out. The lump in the bed shifted until the lump sat up, half of the blanket covering the figure drop down, revealing messy cobalt-haired and light blue-eyed boy.

Who looked ready to go back to sleep again.

But he couldn't, it was his first day of second year high school. He had plans and the fact that his grandma called out that it was time for breakfast. It was a little weird at the fact that his grandma always knew that he's awake, no matter how what hour he woken up, even in from an afternoon nap.

He swears that she has sixth sense or something.

"Up, 'm up." He mumbled sleepy, every movement sluggish as he slid off bed and went to get a shower. An hour later, finished dressing, wearing his gakusei kaban in shoulder-length sideways, fixed his hair and wore his beloved headphones and double-checking everything, he walked out of his room and down the stairs.

"Morning." He greeted with a yawn at his grandparents in the dining room. His grandpa was already there seating, reading a newspaper with a fresh cup of coffee thanks to the steam flowing out of the cup. His grandma was still cooking, must be for them since his is already prepared, food waiting for him to be devoured on the table.

"Good morning, Kai." His grandpa returned his greeting, smiling as his grandma only softly grunted acknowledging the young boy's greeting.

Kai plopped on the chair, starting eating his breakfast consists of sunny side-up eggs, a orange juice, toast, bacon and his favorite; donuts. He was fast at eating when it comes to delicious food, his grandma's cooking was stellar, her cooking will always be his most favorite, in the same position of his much-loved donuts.

Once he finished eating, he bid his grandparents a groggy "I'm off." and walked out for the house to school with a doughnut in his hand. His grandparents weren't concern when it wasn't a cheerful goodbye like always. Both of them knew he spent all of his energy yesterday late at night.

—✧—

"Urk, I shouldn't have spent Sunday until late at night. Now I'm sleepy and it's Monday; the start of my second year." He grumbled, scratching his hair, messing it up more.

He spent last night listening to all kinds of music, reading supernatural fictions, and scheming his ideas, too excited to sleep at his usual sleep time that he slept at 2:00 am. It was now 7:40, his school starts at 8:00. The walk to school took 10 minutes, that'll leave 30 minutes free time. It was enough for his plan to talk to a teacher about his plan.

What was his plan?

His plan to start a supernatural hunting club.

It sounds crazy, and no doubt humorous and weird to others but it didn't matter. Kaito would do his best to make the club work, he already has a teacher in mind to be the adviser of the club and he'll no doubt find people to be his members or his name isn't Yasushi Kaito, supernatural extraordinaire!

His energy building up, sleepiness wiped out, he shouted at the sky, earning startled looks from the people within hearing range,

"Get ready, World!" He chomped on his doughnut, an exuberant grin forming, "The EPIC starts today!"

[since ying isn't here, or busy in rl, we'll skip her turn until she comes back. C:

For now, you'll be next akira. *U*]

I can't count all the times that I had to say I'm sorry

For wanting something with a few more bits than my Atari

Don't play a game, boy

They said it would get old

But sometimes boys like me are curious

And can't be told no

You came along and had me saying

"What is this?"

Your sexiness had got me ready for the Genesis

It was dark with a few red and white tints at the edges of his closed vision. The seat of the limousine was surprisingly comfortable against his back and although the floor was pristine and carpeted, and probably softer than the seats, Lian would just probably scold him again if he tried to sleep on it. He gave a small smile as the music blared against his headphones.

I don't want you thinking

That I'm trying to apply pressure

But the pressure makes it better

Pushing harder makes it wetter

If you wanna skip a level

Then we'll go to level two

Just beat my boss and get me off

And then I'll play with you

You, you, me

Okay, just plug the damn thing in already

Then the car stopped and it was easily noted that they have arrived at their destination. He gave a slight smirk before evening out his breathing and pretending to have fallen asleep, just as the car door opened. Then a gasp made it past his headphones then he was being inspected; gentle hands checking his forehead, cheeks and neck for his temperature. He gave a chuckle. Lian was such a worry wart.

"I am fine, Lian." Faide stated with a casual shrug, opening his eyes before exiting the limousine without even a sideways glance to its interior. "Twelve hours of flight is tiresome, do you really think that I am not exhausted?" Were his words as he gave his ever so loyal butler an amused look.

"My apologies, Goshujin-sama." Lian was about five inches taller than Faide, who stood at five-foot-ten. The man had waist long hair that was black and cascaded down his back in a straight line, Faide often wondered how his butler managed to do that; not a strand strayed away of that line. Unlike the readhead, who had porcelain pale skin, Lian had a slight tan to the quality of his. He also had high cheekbones, an angular jawline and sharp eyes. The man stood in composed indifference but Faide knew better. It was weird but this person had served him for ten years and he doubted that there was someone more loyal to him than Lian. The man literally did everything he told him.

"I was just worried that the past few months of traveling that your aunt has subjected you to was already taking its toll on your health. I wanted to make sure Goshujin-sama was not ill."

It was true, of course. Three months ago he had told his aunt that he wanted to return, although she did not know that he had been planning to do so for the past two years. She understood and had given her consent almost immediately. But one of her daughters, Haila, suggested, well..more like forced, that they all go on a small shopping before he left. The 'small shopping' turned out to be a tour on five different countries. Haila had wanted for it to be just the two of them but Lian, thank goodness for him, had suggested that if Faide was gonna be going back then it would be better if they spend his remaining time with the family. The readhead had never been so grateful to his butler. Yeah. He never really liked girls.

Faide shook his head, dispelling discombobulating thoughts as his headphones landed lightly against his shoulders in the process. He gave a deep breathe of air before turning his attention towards his parent's house. Well...his house. The corners of his lips turned upwards without him meaning to.

"You've spent the two years, I've given you, well." A praise. And Lian looked as if he could die at that moment, and die a happy man.

They were outside a massive gate, standing at two stories high, with perimeter walls just as tall. They were made with a combination of oak and marble, with numerous metallic spikes that protruded at the top. Aside from the massively shut wooden gate, there was virtually no way anyone could see the interior of the now refurbished mansion. Faide wondered if the outside was better than the inside. He gave his two bodyguards, twins with names he could not seem to remember or pronounce, a nod and with bodies that would make a bodybuilder to shame, pushed at the heavy looking gates.

The path towards the mansion was long and paved with immaculate cobblestones. In the middle was a massive fountain, a dragon statue adorning its top and water jetted out of its open mouth. To the left was a demonstration garden, starting just a few feet from the gates and ending at the steps of the mansion. The garden had a vast number of already blooming plants at its perimeter but the eye-catcher of all was the sakura in the middle. It was no ordinary sakura. This one was blue. Faide gave a slow smile. It was his mother's work. He never really knew how she did it but there it was, standing strong and perfect amongst the flora that surrounded it. He gave a chuckle as a few tea tables caught his eyes.

To the right was a hut with hay straws for a roof, of all things. The walls were of bamboo and it was big enough to know that it was spacious inside. From an open window, Faide could see a bar table that was already stocked with numerous beverages. A few feet from the hut was a sparkling pond with one bridge that led to the small island in the middle, where another blue sakura stood tall and proud. The rest of the area was just manicured lawn that reminded Faide of warm summer days spent sprawling around the grass.

Then last, he beheld the manor itself. The best words that could probably describe it was: Miniature Castle. It was four stories high with imposing marble columns that made Faide think of the White House. The steps towards it made it seem like the people who lived there were royalty. Windows lined the front, perfect yet fragile, as if winking when the sun's rays bounced off of them. The front doors was two stories high with black metal outlining its edges, an upturned crescent moon and a huge 'B' resting against it, the Blank Crest, adorned its center and Faide was surprised to see that he was already standing before it. Then the doors were opening and the first thing he saw was a red carpet against a while marble floor and the mansion's staff arranged on either side to greet him. Then his eyes caught sight of something that he had longed to see.

There, above the first flight of stairs, just bellow the massive painting of the Blank family, were the transparent visage of his parents, just floating a few inches off the floor. His father still wore his business suit, the trimmed beard he had still as intimidating as ever. His square jaw spoke of strength and his gentle eyes shone with caring and wonder. His shoulders were just as stiff but the arm around his wife spoke differently. His mother, with her long, curled and perfect crimson hair, the slender hips that was visible against her gown. Her delicate nose, caring eyes and smiling lips, a frail but strong arm wrapped around her husband. They both looked as if they have been waiting.

"Okaerinasai, Goshujin-sama!" Were the staff's chorused greeting. But he didn't hear them. He stared at the ghosts of his parents and gave a wavering smile.

"Okaeri." Were his mother's words and after eleven years of holding it in, Faide Blank finally burst into tears.

"What? 5 am already? I've been up til now!?" Vexen gasped as he looked at time, "well... So much for sleeping..." Strangely, despite the lack of sleep, dark circles don't show on the young male eye's very much, perhaps due to his already dark eyes or maybe his body is used to staying up late at night.

The young student's desk is cluttered with random books on superstition and supernatural with his latest research on poltergeists, personally experiencing one quite recent with the house he lived in... The very phenomenon scared all his housemates away, they left telling the landlord that the weird quiet freaky kid was doing weird pranks, and it was convincing simply because Vexen does seem abit odd, with no friends... Eventually he got evicted, now he lives alone in a little apartment.

"Pretty sure it was a poltergeist but why? why me? Why don't it happen to my things!? or my room? only everyone else?" thoughts puzzling the lonely teen. Just by pondering and jotting down the incidences and making personal notes. Then he gazes at the clock, "DAMN! 7AM!"

He abruptly stacked his notes into neat piles of paper, dash into the bathroom to get himself washed up and start walking to school. Vexen truly enjoy his solitude quiet walk this early in the morning, the air is cold and there's very little people around, just the way he likes it. Strolling lazily towards school, he's bound to reach just in time for class, if lucky... Maybe earlier... and maybe... just maybe... There's a possibility of making new friends... for the new semester~

Vexen kept walking... kept pondering "what if everyone ends up hating me again? what if im still that freaky kid everyone stays away from? I should try being more friendly?" Upon thinking, he stumbled upon a puddle of water, looking at his own reflection, he broke into a smile and look at himself and chuckled "That will do... I hope". The awkward teen then kept walking on.. towards a new begining~

Once he stepped inside the school, he was already heading towards his location target; the School Faculty.

"Airi-senseiiiii~!" He squealed (manly, of course. shush.), after he had head inside and saw his red-bob cut haired teacher, set on glomping her. But it seems the teacher knew what he was about to do, stopping him from glomping her by blocking with her hand to his face.

"Kaito-kun, how pleasant to see you too." She greeted, sardonically, rolling her sharp dark green eyes, used to the fact he hugs or glomps people both he knew or didn't knew when overly-excited or had way too much sugar. She knew because she was his private tutor when he was at the age of 14.

He straightened, grinning at her and went straight to the point, "I want you to be the adviser of the club I'm making! Pleeease~?" He batted his eyelashes with a pleading, hopeful expression.

She quirked an eyebrow at him, wondering what club he was about to make before she realized. She also knew what he really loved and it made her realized what he was going to— "Don't tell me you're going to make an Supernatural Club?" She question in slight disbelieve. Here she thought he was over with anything supernatural but the determined expression he made after she questioned told her, no, he still love it. It seems he had already found out that she wasn't supervising any clubs and that made him decide to approach, not to mention he already knew her years ago.

Slightly contemplating it, she searched his expression but it only showed he was determined to create one and knowing Kaito, he wouldn't give the idea up. Though she still said "You do know that the club needs at least 4 more members, right?" It was slightly impossible to get much members because not really many believe in the supernatural and even if they join, they'd quit early.

She smiled when his expression didn't change, his eyes though, had a hard glint that he wouldn't just let it go, he would persist until he got the club he always wanted. For he was Yasushi Kaito, the hard-headed person who wouldn't let himself fall down deep.

"Alright. I'll be your adviser to your club. Good luck."

His face lightened brightly, he bowed low,

"Thank you very much, Airi-sensei!!"

(It's short, sorry. @_@)

((no worries, their not all together yet so that's bound to happen. About to write mine... I'm having a horrible fit of writers block so this should be fun >.

Taki yawned as he walked into the school. He was new here so he was a bit nervous. They had only moved into town the year before and he ended up finishing his classes online a year before. Most of his life he was home schooled and didn't have too many friends. His parents wanted him to have better opportunities so they moved here before the accident.

Sighing softly he opened the door to the classroom and saw a bunch of kids already there and being very loud. He walked past them and to the back trying to hide for now. Once he got to know people he became a bit more open but for now he was nervous.

Opening his bag he pulled out his notebook and a pencil. Perhaps he'd doodle before class started. As he waited he started to draw a picture of the back of a kid looking out a window to a dark sky. These moments he really enjoyed because he could get away from life for a moment.

((yup... I fail extra hardcore))

  • 2 weeks later...

It was not unusual for this to happen...

Outside of the school there were students gathering as usual, chatting amongst themselves and chattering about their evenings and mornings while there was one lone male standing under a tree that had caught the attention of a few juniors. Perhaps it was because he was alone that coaxed them to move closer. Or maybe it was because of the interesting way that he dressed to school, the uniform perfectly ironed with not even a single crease while the other students seemed a lot less concerned with their appearance. Or was it because he was the only boy in the yard that seemed to have such long hair, and even that held a very unusual colour of deep royal blue.

Either way, no matter the reason, none of them got closer than a few feet away before noticing the sticky coils that threatened to stick unpleasantly to anything that dared move closer. The soldiers that manned the threads were strategically hidden amongst the branches, waiting and watching for their prey carefully as the students avoided each web.

It had always been called the 'Tree of Spiders', avoided by all and used in fear tests to initiate members into random groups. Standing under it for 2 minutes was the standard pledge, but it went up from there depending on the rank you wanted to apply for. It seemed impossible to get in without being caught in almost invisible web and attracting the attention of the spiders seemed inevitable. One moment there would be none visible to the naked eye and the next, with a single stroke against one thread they would appear like a plague on every branch, ready to attack the intruder.

It wasn't normal...

To be standing right in the middle of that, to be reaching up to place the squirming insect right before the very fangs of the largest of the brood. It was insanity.

The haunting gaze of those golden eyes holding a strange sense of understanding as the horrific eight legged spider sought forward to coil its sticky web around the buzzing fly, forcing it deeper and deeper into that blinding coffin.

It was as if, there was some deeper understanding.

Not a single web seemed to touch that markless, perfect uniform. Not a single spider seemed disturbed by his presence. It was the only time there seemed to be peace with a student anywhere near the tree.

There had always been rumors about him. About how the spiders surely dropped down on him and were just hiding underneath his uniform. How if anyone dared to come close to him they would attack.

What interesting theories.

At least it kept the attention off of the bloody past that was inevitably brought up at every new school.

It was time to leave and carefully, he walked through the threads, bending and moving as if in a slow dance, careful not to disrupt a single thread as he found his way through the labyrinth carefully, seemingly undisturbed by the few small spiders scurrying about the nearly invisible threads, acting as if they were students he were passing on the way to the cafeteria. Not a single moment of fear.

Clearing the webs, he headed toward the doors, that beautiful long blue hair caressing over the back of his uniform lightly as he turned his head to the side as if to regard the spiders he had just departed from, respectfully.

Creepy was not even sufficient anymore, it would be interesting to see what kind of labels they would come up with this term.

"-ow tell me what happened."

"The Master fainted the moment he entered the Mansion."

"I was three cities away and you called me here just because he fainted!?"

There were voices. The most recent one had a tint of exasperation, bewilderment and probably annoyance. It sounded like the voice of his Doctor, so the other one was undoubtedly Lian. But why was it so dark? Was it already evening? Did he sleep the entire day? His eyelids fluttered and he noted with a hint of amusement that it was dark because his eyes were closed. His minute movements went unnoticed and he took his time to listen to what the two were saying.

"I am assuming that there is more to this fainting that you are letting me on." There was that exasperated huff again. Faide never really understood how his Doctor could sound as if the weight of the entire world was on his shoulders.

"He-" An audible swallow and it was evident that Lian was debating whether he should continue or not. Faide evened out his breathing and wondered if his butler would tell. He was curious himself. What had happened that made him faint? "The Master cried before fainting."

The silence that followed was all consuming. Faide's eyebrows furrowed. Cry, huh.

"What triggered it?" It was a careful question, coming from his Doctor. Silence again, but somehow Faide knew that Lian had shook his head. "Interesting. Anything else?"

"He had also been smiling at a significantly higher rate, whereas when we were still in America he barely reacted to anything." A grunt. Faide wanted to think that his Doctor had that troubled look on his wrinkled expression. "Frowns and other expressions also appear."

"Hmmm." Another silence blanketed them and the readhead turned his lips down in a distasteful frown. It wasn't like he was a huge ball of mystery that they needed to solve. "I think it has to do with this house." The statement sounded overly loud against the walls of the room. "Lian," A small tilt to his voice. The old man was worried. "Are you sure that it's a good idea to bring Faide back here?" The readhead bit his tongue to stop himself from saying something. "I mean, its good that he's showing the first signs of progress on his condition but does staying here help him in the long run?" 'This is where it all started.' Was left unsaid.

"It is my decision." Were Faide's silent words. He opened his eyes before abruptly closing them when the full spectrum of light invaded his iris. "This house is my birthright and I would not let it fall to ruins." Red and white spots danced behind his closed lids. "Besides I'd rather stay here than be given the task of managing a three-star restaurant in America."

"I see that your Photophobia is still as worse as ever." The old Doctor chuckled at the same time as Lian pushed a button resting on Faide's nightstand. The curtains rustled and as one, moved to cover the glass walls and windows. "I've given Lian a Doctor's statement that should allow you to wear shades in school." The readhead grunted, opening his eyes and shaking his head to remove the dancing spots that appeared in his vision. "I am also recommending that you exercise everyday. Walk to school if yo-"

"The Master can not walk to school!" Lian interjected, his tone clearly stating that what the Doctor had said was appalling. "The school, he is enrolled in, is in the middle of the city and this mansion is ways away that." The Doctor gave Lian a disapproving look, as if stating that he as the Doctor was always right.

"Then I suggest you wake him up early, no?"

"I have my skateboard, Lian. No need to worry." Faide stated mildly, finally able to open his eyes properly and the sight that greeted him gave him pause. He noted that this room was his. It looked so different from the inside of the mansion.

Whereas the main hall of the mansion was made from marble, stone and tiles, his was of polished wood. His bed was a queen sized four poster bed with black silk sheets and covers, so dark that it made him look like a corpse against them. A tall door was stationed beside his bed and by the looks of it, it was made from a paper like material. Faide figured that it might be the door to his closet. He turned his head and the curtains were what caught his gaze. They were dark and velvety that looked heavy. A foot of a tripod was poking out from a crevice that two curtains made. Faide guessed that it was his high powered telescope against a mini balcony. Beside it was a black grand piano. The readhead blinked. The grand piano did not disappear so he supposed that it was real. To the far side of the room were two doors, one was made of oak and the other was of glass, probably sliding too. He guessed that beyond them were his mini-livingroom and bathroom respectively. Aside from those his room was bare and followed his minimalist style. He gave a nod. Lian did good.

"Goshujin-sama?" The voice of his butler penetrated his auditory senses and by the tone of it, it was clear that he had been saying it repeatedly for a few seconds. Faide gave him a look. And noticed that his Doctor was nowhere to be found.

"Where's the old man?" He began, crawling out of bed and raising an eyebrow at the yukata that he was wearing.

"He left while you were inspecting the room." So he had ignored them that he had blocked them out completely. The readhead frowned. It was not like him. "He also 'suggested' that you take this day to rest." By how Lian had stated the word, it meant that his Doctor had ordered him to rest. Tch. He was fine and there was nothing that they need to worry about.

"I will rest after school. Prepare my uniform and the car." Were his words followed by the resounding click of his bathroom door.

Upon reaching school, Vexen looked around at this brand new foreign environment, students already formed cliques... Sitting about the school grounds in their little group of friends, talking... laughing... seems like they're having a good time. The lonely new student decided to walk around the school grounds, exploring it and perhaps to find a friend.

It is really sad if Vexen were to end up an outcast again, but he's prepared for it as it happened often in his life. However being alone and outcast isn't miserable, he gets to see society from a rather different angle and notices all the pointless things people do to get accepted, such as parties and clubbing... And finally, a decent looking pretty girl was sitting by the water fountain, alone! The lonely teen decided then to approach her and talk, perhaps ask for directions, or just to say "hi "... Just as he was two steps away from her, a large masculine male sat beside her and handed her an ice cream cone with another in his hands. Vexen awkwardly moved on hoping that the girl hadn't notice him...

In the corner of his eye he noticed... An unusual male with blue hair, was under a tree, Alone! Desperate to make a new friend, he paced towards the tree... *BUMP!* Accidentally bumped into a teacher, with a quick apology uttered, he finally made his way to the tree... Only to find the blue haired character wasn't there anymore... and... wait...

SPIDERS!!!

All over the tree, fine web everywhere... The curious teen slowly backed up, not wanting to disturb the delicate creatures. Suddenly... THUD! Vexen felt a rough nudge on his shoulder, "Excuse me... do mind where you're..." Before finishing his sentence, Two large males towered over him and rudely interupt "You look new here! Little Freak!", "Fancy the tree of spiders!?"... Without even coming to his senses, He was shoved against the "Tree of Spiders"... An Elegant black spider landed on his shoulder, while both the muscular jocks laughed at his demise..

With gentle hands, he cradled the spider in his palm and stared at them with a calm look... Holds up the spider and say "You've disturbed her rest, now she's angry..." then bringin it closer to the bullies. "What the F***!!! Get it away!!! You Freak!!!" Last words said before they fled... Vexen gently placed the spider back onto the tree, and said thank you for standing up for him, then sat near the tree looking at all the different unique species of spiders living in harmony, "If only the world is like that..." He gazed at the beautiful spiders as he awaits for the school bell to ring~

First task; DONE. Now the second task.

Slap!

He hummed under his breathe, stapling the paper on the club recruiting board with a stapler gun. Since he already had gotten his adviser, now he needed to past this to walls to get members. Oh he hoped that there will be some who'll be interesting in joining! How many years has he waiting for this? He couldn't do it in his first year because it didn't felt right.

But now, it was the time to do so. His horoscope told him that!

He stepped back with a satisfied face, in front was his club advertisement.

Interesting in something unique?

Want to know something that will you give shivers?

This club will you give you excitement! You will shudder just by thinking about it.

And that is—

Hunting the Supernatural!

Yes, you read that. Hunting ghosts, myths and urban legends that comes back to life!

No, I am not joking. I'm serious.

He smiled. Perfect! All that left was to paste this to the other club recruitment boards, there were three club recruitment boards, one for the outside and two in the inside. Though some clubs just past theirs to some walls like besides the lockers. He was going to do that so many people will see it and they might join, he hope so.

And he did that, he pasted it at some walls when he spotted someone in the corner of his eye, someone that gave a spark in Kaito's eyes. He whipped his head into that someone's direction, caught long blue hair and mysterious bright gold eyes.

His lips - already curved - curved up higher.

And there and then, Kaito knew that he had to recruit him.

"Hey, you!" He waved his hand to get that person's attention, excitement churning in his stomach and he couldn't help the grin in his face. "Hey there!" He greeted once he caught up but didn't wait for anything else. He went straightforward, "Here. Please consider this!" He gave him one of the paper in his hold and looked at the bright gold eyes, "Haha, it seems rude of me but I can't help it. You're definitely what I'm looking for, so please, consider this, thank you!" He bowed, to be polite. He didn't want his first impression to be a rude guy.

"See you later!" He waved goodbye, grin still in place. Kaito didn't know he had forgotten to introduce himself.

The cobalt-haired boy hoped that this mysterious person join his club. He didn't want his club to end in fail when it hasn't even started. Even so, Kai wouldn't give up. Never.

Now to post this outside.

Kaito smiled, too excited to built his club. Airi-sensei already told him that she knew a place where his club meetings will take in place, all she had to do was to talk to the principal once he get his four members to complete his club. Oh he was so excited! All he had to was to look for members that would join.

"Another one, doesn't he see that it's dangerous? I mean, look at it! It's a tree filled with webs and spiders!"

His ears perked up. One of the useful ways to get information is through gossip, especially girl gossip.

"The other one manage to avoid it but it was still creepy. Did you see that the spiders didn't even attacked him or something?! Weren't they vicious?"

Could they mean the Tree of Spiders? It was one of the wonders in his school. No one knows why the tree was full of one, there was even a rumor that someone in the staff tried to remove it but was attacked by them. Some say in his house at night and some say that it happened in school.

"It's the same for the other guy, right? Though he was pushed... still, the spiders..."

"Ugh. We should stop talking about this, it's getting me the creeps!"

"You're right... Let's just go."

Thank you, random girls gossiping!

He went to the tree and spotted a black-haired boy under the tree. And just like the first one, this person gave a spark in his eyes and joyful grin bloomed once again.

Found you.

"Yo!" Kaito greeted enthusiastically, just a few inches away from the webs, he didn't want to disturb the spiders webs. It was their home. "Here." Carefully giving one of his club advertising paper to the lonely boy to avoid the webs. "I'm not forcing you to join or anything but please consider!" He nudged his head in a small bow, still trying to not disturb the spiders web.

"I'll see you later!" Once again, he carefully moved away, didn't want to disturb and walked away.

Now to post this outside.

[i feel this is rushed. The first one in my mind was a little different than this. And sorry for the late reply. D: I got hold up in some things. So when I was online, I could only typed little by little but not anymore. Here we go!~ : D Sorry for the long wait! >

Taki cocked his head a little as he read the paper as the boy put it up on the wall. This couldn't be real. No way kids would bring together a group like this. Glancing over his shoulder he saw her back there, always watching always waiting. He didn't want her to come to harm but he wanted her to be able to rest.

The blond tucked his hands into his pockets and looked at the boy before him. He was an odd fellow, certainly different than most kids he'd talked to. He'd been fairly quiet since the accident so making friends these days was very hard for him.

"So this supernatural club... know anyone who can help the dead find rest without harming them?" otherwise he was out. He'd rather be haunted by his mother than harm her in any way. She's been through enough already.

Behind Taki she moved in close wrapping her arms around his shoulders and watched Kaito carefully. She didn't like this boy or the idea of her son sending her to the other side. Nope she planned on staying right here. Forever.

(Sorry, I have been quite busy)

Upon tilting his head back, those golden eyes were met with a fairly unusual sight. Someone was being pushed against the 'Tree of Spiders', that part was not so uncommon, but the response to the introduction of a spider upon their shoulder seemed quite... Original.

It had been a while since Kagami had seen anyone go anywhere near that tree and not be utterly terrified when they realised the inhabitants that resided peacefully upon the branches, hidden amongst delicately woven webs in the leaves. They truly were such stunning creatures, seeking to hunt like any human would with a net in the ocean seeking fish for their family. However, to be labeled as ugly and terrifying... It made the blue haired male frown without comparison.

Why was it that humans could not see their similarities with the creatures around them? Instead they saw themselves as being superior for some reason. In truth, weren't they the only creatures who killed each other and others for sport? Wasn't that what it was to be truly ugly? Didn't that make them even more terrifying than the most poisonous spider who would only bite out of fear or hunger, not sport?

Regardless, those eyes narrowed toward that strange dark haired boy who held one of Kagami's adored creatures delicately in his palm, seeming to scold the other boys before returning the unharmed spider to its web.

Just... Who was that?

The question plagued his mind as he clutched the dark folder a little tighter to a tense torso, turning back around before anyone noticed he had been staring, heading inside with haste.

Perhaps not all humans are a lost cause if there are others who can see the beauty that I do.

Uneventful. That was not a word Faide would use to describe the ride towards the school. The scenery that they passed was something to be admired; plantlife lined the edges of the roads and sometimes the occasional critter that scampered along roadblocks and scattered logs. He gave a huff, fogging up the limousine's window as he continued staring out of it. The environment was so different in America. Sure there were a few greeneries here and there, but it was rare that one would feel the atmospheric presence of wildlife. Or maybe that was just the city boy in him talking. He was glad then that his house was situated atop a hill, far from the bustling city.

"Goshujin-sama, please re-think your decision to go to school. You need the rest." And here was the reason the drive was uneventful; Lian nagging him that he should follow his doctor's suggestion. For the first few times that Lian had voiced his protest Faide had found it amusing that the man was this concerned with him just having a lack of sleep, but then when it continued on for more than fifteen times he had found himself annoyed, enough to even consider agreeing just to placate the man and make him stop his incessant nagging.

"I'm sure the staff will excuse your first day of absence. And if they do not, we can always arrange something for them to do so." The twitching of his left eyebrow was the only indication that Faide had had enough annoyance for one day.

"Lian," His tone was quiet, yet it commanded attention and obedience. "What is a butler's golden rule?" Beyond the open screen of the wall that separated them, Faide could see Lian's knuckles turn white as his grip on the steering wheel hardened. Then just as quickly, the butler exhaled a resigned sigh.

"The Master's words are absolute." Faide smiled; a gentle curve against his lips before looking back out the car's window. They were in the city now, buildings with both familiar and unfamiliar architectures lining the streets. One such building caught his attention; the Blank Family crest, situated just above four glowing stars, adorned the roof.

"What's our Family crest doing on top of a four-star restaurant?" He queried, curiosity lining his voice.

"That restaurant was a welcome home gift from your aunt." Lian explained, a small smile tugging at the edges of his lips. "She wants you to have it when you come of age, so I am managing it at the moment. Both the head-chef and the sous-chef are from France and they will always cook anything you ask of them should you wish to dine at the restaurant." He gave an amused laugh before giving the readhead a smile on the backseat window. "Any friends you bring will have a free meal of their choice."

"Like I'm gonna tell anyone." Faide mumbled, crossing his arms over his chest before giving a light scoff. "I'm not gonna repeat the same mistake I made in America."

"Then let's hope no one is looking our way because we're already here." Lian announced with heavy amusement. And with a start, the readhead felt surprise. He didn't even feel the car stop. Then the bodyguard that had been seated beside his butler was now opening his door for him and Faide almost scrambled further into the car when light suddenly flooded his vision, instead he took a minute to compose himself before putting his shades on; courtesy of one of his bodyguards.

Strapping his messenger bag against his shoulder, Faide gave a light exhale as he exited the long black car. He gave a slow blink, noting that the school was a bit bigger than he first thought but only just. "I know the classroom, Lian." He stated with a frown, noticing how his butler stood beside him.

"Hai, Goshujin-sama." Lian gave him a bow, the act making the readhead scowl as a few students stopped in their tracks to openly stare at them. "I will be speaking to the school principal in a few moments." Was his statement as he straightened up before reaching forward and handing Faide a card key, of all things. "That is the key for your locker. It will also require to scan your iris, seeing that a fingerprint scanner is out of the question." He gave a pointed look towards the readhead's gloved hands before promptly giving a haste apology when his Master gave him a scathing glare.

"Be here the minute classes ends. I want to check the restaurant - my restaurant." It was Faide's own version of saying 'see you later' and Lian gave another bow in acknowledgement. Time to see if this school was as boring as the one in America. If the students were as different as the country itself. If there was a mystery worth latching his attention to.

  • 2 weeks later...

"Yawn~" Vexen being bored already on the first day of class, it was math... He already understood it from the 1st example given by the teacher, now the other examples seems redundant. "Oh right, a weird kid gave me a flier... note... pamphlet earlier..." He suddenly thought to himself. The bored student carefully take out the note and read it while the teacher is talking away...

"Pffft... " Vexen let out a slight chuckle at the cheesy and tacky presentation of the flier~ "hmmmm... That guy really is a freak... I wonder what sort of weirdo joins a club like that... *chuckles* Well... Perhaps I could find friends worthwhile there~"

The lonely bored student then gazed out the window, the spider tree is visible from his class and he wondered, what other people would join the supernatural club... "Hmmmm... That blue haired guy... I wonder if I'll see him... Maybe he'll join the club?" Chuckling to himself, feeling silly how he's thinking of some random guy in the middle of class...

"VEXEN!!! PAY ATTENTION!!!" The teacher yelled, "Is something funny!? Come here and solve this at once!!!". With a calm look at the question, not much needed to be done to solve the quadratic equation with mere factorization... The mathematical problem was solved in two lines, "Hmmm... Good... at least you know the basics" The teacher replied after seeing his work... "please, take your seat and pay attention~"

The bored student then sat down, gazed outside at the tree of spiders once more, wondering when will he see that blue-haired guy again... He turned towards the clock above the blackboard, counting down to recess~
