Ok there everyone, who else here loves Hetalia? What are some of your favorite pairings? For me I adore Germany and Italy (how can you not?).

Okay I know this topic has been brought up before numerous times but I wanted to ask again because whenever I re-watch the Hetalia episodes I always want to discuss HRE and Germany with someone but unfortunately don't have that accessibility so I'm here to ask you fans your opinions! :Playing with fire: As all Hetalia watchers we know Holy Rome and his whole history with Italy, and his whole ending with him going off to war. First time watching it I did believe Holy Rome was Germany when he was younger, most of the nations shown as kids in past scenes, but something didn't make sense. As I got more into the series I decided to do some research and learned about all the controversies regarding HRE being Germany. From theories of him having amnesia to being reincarnated or just downright not being Germany at all. History wise they were statements saying Germany was a descendant of Holy Rome, Germany being all the small districts that were once part of HRE joined together. Again that was another theory and forgive me if that is historically incorrect. So basically my question is this: Do you believe Holy Rome is Germany? I've read all the theories and controversies and I do believe he is but there's still doubt since there's no definite proof. My reasoning for why I believe Germany is HRE is the similarities in personality and facial components (yes I do put into account that the blonde and blue eyes is common in that bloodline lineage) but I'm just referring to the anime, Germany does resemble HRE very much and his history is a bit murky as well. Even in the manga where the chapter tell of how Germany came to be its shown that Germany already had a physical body and looked slightly older in age which struck me as odd. Also something else that somewhat made more questions bubble up was that in the San Valentino strip !!!!!:spoiler alert: !!!! :Playful: (the manga strip not the anime special) In the last part where Germany is having a major freak out a memory of Chibi Italia shows up and then Germany has his meltdown, forgetting everything. But it brings up the suspicion that the memory was Holy Rome's because as far as I learned Germany himself never had any interaction with young Italy. Those are my reasons but regardless of whether Germany is or isn't Holy Rome it's still a sweet theory and the pairing is still adorable on its own. In conclusion to my rambling, I would like to hear your thoughts/opinions or theories you have or heard before.

He had a hamburger in hand, a rumbling stomach, and an extra bounce in his step. It was the fourth of July, which was his birthday. I wonder where Iggy is? He didn't show up at the meeting today, which is odd. Usually, he's one of the first people there! Maybe he's sick; it is my birthday, after all. America shrugged and looked for a place to eat, rounding the corner. England sighed. Now's my chance; I'd better take it! He stepped out of his hiding place, dusting himself off with nervous fingers, and anxiously walked to America. "Oh, hey, England! Where were you?" His brilliant blue eyes saw that they were alone. "Have you been here this entire time? Arn't you sick?" England blinked at all of the questions, shaking his head. "To answer your questions, I was sitting against that wall, yes, and yes. The kiss was soon over as England pulled away; the two were blushing heavily. "Uhm, yeah! H-happy birthday . . . ," England stuttered, hand resting on the back of his neck in embarrassment. "Don't be silly—that was the best birthday present ever!" America laughed happily, drawing England into a hug. "R-really?" England sighed in relief. "Yep! By the way, you suck at hiding your feelings, dude. Everyone knows about your 'thing' for me." "Do you have a 'thing' for me?" England asked, hugging his crush back. "I think I do, 'cuz I just can't stop noticing your adorableness and sexiness and—you know—everything all the time! Those are signs of a crush, right? Unlike the actual war, there is no Holocaust because that would upset many people, so this is focused on the fight for balance and control in the world. The Axis Powers are trying to take over the world, and the Allied Forces are trying to stop that from happening. "Trembling, crawling across my skin. Feeling your cold dead eyes, stealing the life of mine..." Other In this roleplay, you can join as a person from any of the listed countries (because they were in Hetalia: Axis Powers), and he/she can either be part of that country's military or not; spies and assassins are also welcome. I will also allow certain people to join as leaders of the countries, meaning you can roleplay a Hetalia character if I approve you. As for weapons, I would like your character to always have one specific weapon with them at all times that belongs to them, however they can use various other weapons if needed (a list of available weapons will be listed near the end of this section; you may also steal weapons from other countries after a battle, and assassins and spies can choose their own). If you join as a member of the military, be sure to put your rank (ranks will also be listed from lowest to highest). When it comes to battles, spies and assassins work on their own time and have no set dates or times. Military personnel have to fight at an assigned date and time with permission from their leaders first; any fights outside of that will be ignored. The battles can happen in any country at any time, however the people roleplaying the leaders (and myself in case no one has claimed a certain leader) will decide the time and place. Fighting is not the only thing to do though; you can visit family members, hang out with friends, and just live normally until it's time to fight (and by normally, I mean normal life at a war camp). Also, if your character is part of the military, you can choose between the army, navy, or air-force. I was thinking that the roleplay would come to an end when one of the two sides is defeated, meaning all leaders decide to surrender due to lack of supplies, high death counts, loss of territory, etc (when conquering individual countries, battles will occur until one side surrenders for the same reasons as above).
