For example, if you give a detailed summary of a movie, you might want to hide the ending in a spoiler, as some users would prefer not to find it out.

Those who want to see the contents of the spoiler will just have to click on the "Reveal hidden contents" button and the content will be displayed.

Overview

You can access the gallery from the main forum navbar (under the forum banner). The gallery contains 4 main sections: Anime & Manga, Games and Movies, Shippers Zone and Bara.

Uploading

You can upload images clicking on the Upload Image link in the Gallery button drop-down (under the main forum banner).

On the next screen, make sure to choose the proper category for the picture you are uploading.

NOTE: If you want to upload a picture that would fit in a category that doesn't exist, please either post in this thread, requesting for the category to be made, or PM/VM

You can upload up to 10 images at a time.

Favorites

In order to set an image to your Favorites, click on it, scroll down and click on Add to Favorites.

To check your favorite images, click on My Favorites link in the Gallery drop down

2. Get the image link

- if you used Imgur, right click on the pic and 'Copy Image Address'

-if you used Tinypic, copy the Direct link for Layouts

3. Click on the Insert Image button on YO, just above the typing space.

You might have noticed that we had DDoS protection enabled for a few days, so we decided to migrate the forums to a new server. Yesterday we completed the migration, but there are still some things needing to be adjusted/set up.

I. First, go on your profile and click on Customize My Profile button, which is located in the right.

II. On the window that appears, you can customize various aspects of your profile. In order to change the profile background to an image instead of a color, click on the color square near Page Background, as marked in the image below:

I. Click on Settings, in the top right corner of the forum, near the Log Out button.

II. Look on the left side, under My Settings menu, My Account and click on Edit Youtube Options

III. Edit Youtube Player Options:

- You can set a title for your player or leave it blank.

1. Look in the top right corner of the forum (near the Log Out button) and you'll see a Settings button. Click on that.

2. That will take you to your Control Panel. Scroll down a bit and in the right side of the screen you'll see this list

In order to check your Like statistics, go to your (or other user's) profile and in the left side, under their profile picture, you will see 2 links: Likes Received followed by the number of likes that member has received and Likes Given followed again by a number, representing how many likes that member has given. You can click on these 2 links for detailed statistics.

Once you have clicked on one of the links, you will see a new button appears in your menu and the details of the likes are listed below (who gave the like, for what post and the date and hour in which the like was received)

How to Buy Cards

To go to the IShop, click on the IShop button in the navbar (under the forum's banner).

After you enter the shop you will see a preview of your Inventory and in the left side, a list with the available categories. To buy a card, just browse the categories for the desired card and click on Buy. The card will be automatically added to your Inventory.

As you can see in the bottom, just the first 2 cards will be displayed under your avatar when you post, but you can change the order to have the desired cards displayed.

Changing the Cards Order

To change your cards order, Go to View Inventory and just drag-and-drop the cards until you get the desired order. You don't have to save, the order is saved automatically.

Donating to Other Users

In order to donate cards to other users, first buy the card, then go to Donate. Select from the drop-down the card you want to donate (you can donate any card from your Inventory), enter the username of the member you want to send a card to and then click on Donate Item.

They will receive a notification in PM that you donated them a card.

Sell Unwanted Cards Back to The Shop

If you don't want a card anymore go to IShop and in the right part you can see a Sell button. You will receive a percentage of the initial cost of the card (the price will be written down above the Sell button). We can't give back a full refund for the used cards because in this way some members would change their cards all the time and it sends lots of queries to the database.

How do I subscribe to a thread or forum?

To subscribe to a forum, click the 'Forum Tools' link above the list of threads then select 'Subscribe to Forum'. You will then have the option to choose the subscription mode for this forum. If the forum that you are subscribing to has any child forums (forums within a forum) then your subscription will be extended to these automatically.

To subscribe to a thread, click the 'Thread Tools' link at the top of the list of posts then click 'Subscribe to Thread'. You can then choose the subscription mode that you wish to use for that thread.

There are a number of different forum subscription modes available.

• Through my control panel only - lists the subscription in your User CP only without receiving any notification in your email. You do not receive any notifications about new posts or threads in the forum. To check your subscriptions go to Settings (in the top right corner of the forum).
  
• Daily Email Notification - sends one email a day with the new and updated threads in the forum and any sub-forums. If there are no new or updated threads in the forum or its sub-forums then you will not receive an email.

Thread Subscriptions have the same options as forum subscriptions with the following additional option:

• Instant Email Notification - sends an email as soon as a new post is added to the thread. This is not sent for every reply and will only be sent once until you revisit the forums.
  

How do I manage Subscriptions and Folders?

To see your Subscribed threads click on Settings (in the top right corner of the forum, near the Log Out button). You will see the subscribed threads with new post along with a button 'View All Subscribed Threads'.

Thread subscriptions can be sorted into folders for easy management. You can create as many folders as you wish by going to '

How do I unsubscribe from a thread?

Click on Settings (in the top right corner of the forum), then a page with settings will show up. In the left side there is a column with options. Click on Subscriptions.

Here you can select which subscriptions you wish to manage and delete them, move them to another folder, or change their subscription type.

In order to manage a thread, select the thread you want to manage, click on Selected Threads in the bottom right part of the list and Delete subscriptions or change the mode you want to be announced of updates (via email or via Control Panel only).

Recently some people have had issues with the chat system, This thread is a small break down and explanation of the chat, what it does and how to use it.

Before we start looking at the chat it's self we need to understand the basic interface of the chat. The main points here are the chat list, basic private chat tabs, group chat and minimize options.

lets look at this from right to left starting with the minimize, if you click on the small green pill shape that has a small white dot, this minimizes the chat. Doing this gets rid of the white chat bar across the bottom of your screen. The chat rooms are where you can open a chat room and the group chat. The next icon is the Chat list, here you can open a BPCT ( basic private chat tab) and lastly the last tab is a basic private chat.

 

 

Basic Private Chat

 

First of all lets look at how to get people into your Private chat list. To open the list you click on the button on the chat bar that says 'Chat'.

This is a list of all of the people you currently have on your account Friend's list that are currently online, if you click on a person's name it'll open up a small private chat box between you and that person.

Within this chat you can talk to your friend without anyone else seeing what you are saying, you can also clear the chat by clicking on the cog in the top right corner ( explanation of what the cog does below ).

You can minimise the chat by click the blue bar running across the top, close it by clicking the X or open your friends profile by clicking the person name when it underlines.

To open the group you click on the button that says 'Chat Rooms' on the chat bar in the very far right.

When you open this tab you'll be greeted with an area like the image below. If you click on the general chat option it'll open the general chat. This room is what is referred to as the 'Group Chat' as it allows all the people on YO to talk to each other in one area.

Once inside the Group Chat you'll see a list of people on the right hand side, and a large chat box on the left. The list of people is everyone who is in the group chat, and the chat box is what everyone is saying. Everything said here can be seen by everyone in the group chat, who you have not blocked ( explained more below ).

If you click on a persons name on the right list you'll get another list of 3 options: Visit Profile, Private Message and Block User. Each of the does exactly what you'd expect it to do. If you click on Visit Profile it will open that persons profile. If you click private message it'll open up a private chat between you and that person. And if you click Block User it'll stop you from seeing everything that user says within the group chat.

In the top right of the corner we have once again the little settings cog ( explained below ) and a small icon of an arrow going into a door way. This door icon will exit you from the room. And like in the private chat section if you click on the blue bar it'll minimize the chat but still leave it open.

I've spoken about some of the symbols above, one of the main ones being the little settings cog.

When i refer to the Cog i am referring to this little symbol in the top right hand corner of every chat:

 

Private Chat Cog:

 

The private chat Cog gives you two options, one to clear conversation and the other to Block User. The clear Conversation does that, it wipes your chat log history, however, it does not do it for both people one yourself. The block user option blocks that user from sending you private messages.

This is one of the most useful chat Cogs it has a list of 4 options 'Chat Sounds',' Keep List Open', 'Manage Block List...' and 'Available to chat'. If you turn the Chat Sounds off it'll mute all of the Blop noise's from any of your private message but not the group chat. If you turn Keep List Open on, it'll keep the list of your friend who are on-line open. If you turn Available to Chat off it'll close the chat windows down and make you appear offline, this means you cannot receive and private chat messages or group chat messages.

The most important part here is the Manage Block List... If you click this option it'll open a small window from here it'll allow you to Unblock anyone you have Blocked in the chat, whether it is from the group chat or a private chat. You select the persons name then click unblock.

These functions are similar to the Chat list options just labelled slightly differently: Keep Room Open, Stay in Room, Chat Room Sounds and Block Private Chats are the options given. Keep Room Open means the chat room will remain open even if you refresh the page. Stay in Room will keep the chat room open even if you minimize the chat or refresh the page. Chat room Sounds does the same as the Chat sounds in the Chat List cog, if turned off it'll mute all the sounds from just that group chat. And last but not least Block Private Chats if you turn this on it'll stop anyone from private chatting you through the group chat options, in other words, it'll stop anyone who is not on your friends list from Private chat messaging you.

The chat blop noise can help you to hear when you have a new message from someone but, you might not want all the blops from the group chats as well.

To turn the sound off is simple, it means using the little cog related to the sound you wish to turn off. For example if you want to turn the chat sound for Private messages off, you go on the chat list cog and turn chat sounds off.

To block a person there are a few different ways of doing this. In private chats you can click the cog and block the user and in the group chat you can do the same. The more difficult part is unblocking a person once you've blocked them. You firstly need to go to you chat list cog:

Then click on 'Manage Block List...' Once you click this option it'll open a small window from here it'll allow you to Unblock anyone you have Blocked in the chat, whether it is from the group chat or a private chat. You select the persons name then click unblock.

Scroll down and you'll see the total reputation you have, the latest reputation points you've received as well as your reputation power and the latest reputation you've given to other members.

For those who don't know, you receive reputation points when someone finds your post useful and gives you a 'Thanks'.

The reputation bar is the green bar displayed above your avatar.
